Hostile Environments

I’ve been thinking about why you don’t read much about the Imperium conquering Eldar Exodites in the WH40k lore, and I think it’d be cool if:

Exodite Worlds are Death Worlds

Due to their World Spirits, Exodite Worlds are sentient and massively powerful psykers who can -and Will!- brainnuke basically anything in their starsystem the minute it steps out of line.

I just think it would be Funny u_u

Like: “Ah, these Simple, Rustic folk, living their lives of ethical anarchism *hand to shoulder*” and immediately dead because Everything on the plant but the dirt and certain rocks is EXTREMELY toxic to anyone not Acclimated; or a planet throwing rocks at you with its giant ghostbrain because it thinks your tradeship is super-tacky(”Do you truly need THAT many flying buttresses? Seriously?? There’s this concept called ‘Restraint’, Mon-Keigh, perhaps you could meditate on it for a decade or so somewhere ELSE and then come back to see us >:| No I dont want your potatochips *yeets you through a warpgate*”).

Exodite Wraithguard: Complete!

Sooo, I actually finished these guys a little while back, but kept putting the photography off like the trash creature I am.

So yeah, these guys are based off of the cop bots from necromunda (or, if you promise not to tell GW, a 3d printed proxy ;) ) because of goofy head canon reasons.

But yeah, big chunky robits, stolen by the space elves and retooled with heavy weaponry for future raids, covered in grafitti.

Bonus: Robit says Lesbian Pride, also YEAG!

Why haven't I ever seen anyone talking about the Exodite mini-series? Like anywhere.

Im not a huge Tau fan, but I found it very enjoyable anyway. Amazing visuals. I wish there was more of it.

Holy crap. I caved and got a month of Warhammer subscription, and it’s. It’s like tumblr. Like they put cutesy little “Grot to Warlord Titan” labels for password strength. They went “Oops, nurglings in the network!” When something went wrong or the password wasn’t right. It feels the same

Except Tumblr is free. Nice try, James Workshop.
