Seeing the cute and VERY drunk Doyoung made Nari smile softly behind the cameras. It was time for Doyoung to head home early so he could prepare for the 7am flight to the Philippines tomorrow (technically today since it was midnight), but at the moment, the young man didn't want to leave his seniors.

"I'm not drunk!" he protested with a huff and cute pout, the three senior idols cooing over him while at the same time trying to convince the main vocal to leave.

"Doyoung-ah~!" Nari called out to the man gently in a singing tone. "Come on sweetie, time to go home!"

"Noona!" Doyoung perked up. "Noona, you're here! Wait -" he blinked slowly. "Why are you here?"

"Okay, time to go to bed!" Nari announced, wrapping her arm around his waist to help support his weight. "Thank you, sunbaenims, for looking out for him."

"Good luck in the Philippines!" Kangta smiled. "Make sure he rests well, yeah?"

"Welcome back, everyone!"

Jaehyun greeted the camera once the cameramen gave him a 'yes' sign. As it was automatical, Somi straightened her posture, trying to get on her 'idol' mode - which was almost impossible, as Baekhyun was not too far from her, purposely making funny faces so she could laugh.

It was her second week promoting 'Play' and her first week at Inkigayo, competing for first place. With both her and Baekhyun promoting their solo work, the last thing they wanted was to compete against each other.

But the day arrived.

The first one to know their schedule would match was Baekhyun, that quickly sent a message to their group chat betting 100 dollars that he'd win over her.

And that's how the biggest bet in SM Entertainment began. Even other idols would stop them in the hallway and talk about the bet.

It was almost like a general repercussion at this point.

"Now, let's see the results for this week's first place." Minhyuk complemented Jaehyun's sentence, reading the script.

Somi looked at Baaekhyun, who was on the other end of the line and smirked. He chuckled, trying to be quiet while the MCs did their job.

"I'm going to win." Somi mouthed to him.

Baekhyun silently and sarcastically puffed, rolling his eyes.

"You wished." he replied. "You'll have to sing my song."

"Digital charts." Naeun said as the numbers started showing up on the screen, and the two idols flinched, realising they were being shown on the camera all this time.

Somi heard a few idols behind her giggling at their reaction, and she covered her mouth, containing her laugh too.

"Viewer's choice..." Naeun kept telling the results.

To make Somi and Baekhyun even more anxious, their results were almost the same, just changing some numbers - tenths - in some categories.

"And this week's winner is..."

Watching the effects on the screen showing the results getting calculated, Somi crossed her fingers, hoping she'd win. At this point, it wasn't even for the prize, but yes for the bet. When they showed the results, some people even gasped.

"Somi! Congratulations" the MCs said.

By literally ten points, Somi won. She started laughing while Jaehyun handed her the small trophy and the flower bouquet.

"Thank you, Jae." she said when the boy helped her. "So," she giggled. "I'd like to thank all the people that helped me with the production of Play, the staff, and G-Dragon oppa for kindly helping and participating..."

From the corner of her eyes, Somi saw Baekhyun walking next to her and sulking. She laughed and hugged his waist, his pout melting into a big smile.

"To Baekhyun oppa, who also worked hard on his song. And, last but definitely not least, our EXO-L, who voted for us." Somi looked at Baekhyun, who winked at her, and then at the camera again. "We're all winners today. Thank you!"

Some idols and the MCs clapped at her speech, and she gave Jaehyun's mic back. After getting her own mic, she put it down to whisper to Baekhyun while Naeun, Minhyuck and Jaehyun wrapped up the show.

"You owe me 100 dollars." Somi whispered at the boy, who laughed.

"Oh, my God." he scoffed. "You're unbelievable."

"A bet is a bet, Baekhyun-ssi." she answered, shrugging. "I told you I'd win."

Their bickering stopped with the MCs giving the last goodbye, and the instrumental of Play started playing.

"Somi-ya, you won!" Johnny said, teasing Baekhyun, who also laughed.

"I know!" she excitedly said out of the mic.

"More than an Inkigayo prize, apparently." Baekhyun mocked his failure.  

Starting to sing the first verse, Somi focused on her job before teasing Baekhyun, who stayed on stage with her for this encore. Waving the boys of NCT goodbye, her eyes widened when she saw three people entering the stage.

Kai, Chanyeol, Sehun and Chen got on the stage, jumping and singing along to the song. Somi and Baekhyun's dancers also joined them.

Even with their masks on, Somi would recognize those eyes at first sight.

"I can't believe it!" she said, not containing her happiness. Unfortunately, she was wearing heels high enough to keep her from jumping.

"Surprise!" Chanyeol said, quickly hugging her.

When the chorus came, they all started doing the choreography, making, not only Somi, but all the staff laugh out loud.

"Baekhyun is 100 dollars poorer, EXO-L." Kai said on Somi's mic.

"Our Somi won!" Chen said, pointing at Somi.

At the end of the stage, Somi was out of breath from trying to sing, laugh and dance at the same time. 

But, at least, she had just gotten 100 dollars richer.

Took them in as soon as she heard about them

Originally, they were being all respectful to her, “Oh, Sunbaenim, hello…” and being intimidated by her cold looks...

But as soon as she revealed she was an Aussie from Sydney as well, they went, “OIIIIIIII AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!!”

They still call her by ‘Noona’ but like, Korean formalities are forgotten between the three, and they’re just a trio of chaotic Aussies - they mainly speak in English together

Their members are always amazed when they listen to the three speak in English because when they’re together, their Aussie accents just thicken and it’s sometimes hard for their members to understand them - not only that, but they see a more playful side of Nari when she's with them, and they realise she's like this because the two juniors remind her of Australia

Nari is an older sister to them, and she’s always there to guide them and give them tips and advice in the idol industry, and they’re also there for her to rant to in English just in case and give the few advice they’ve gained in their life as well

Nari’s heart just busted when Stray Kids and NCT Dream became friends after their collaboration on stage - she went with the Dreamies to Stray Kids’ concert most definitely

The boys are fans of NCT - especially of the talented and beautiful Nari…

They find her cute, like a little sister, kind of (intimidating little sister) - Chen definitely finds her mini crush on him adorable, but the two know that it’s nothing serious, and just feelings of admiration towards an idol (Nari actually supports his relationship and family 100% which he is grateful of)

When Nari found out Johnny could have been in Exo, she absolutely teases him for it:

She’s close to Baekyun and Kai especially - and it’s due to the fact that they are in SuperM together

She actually develops a close relationship with Baekhyun, and would go to him for advice when she’s struggling with something - he may be seen as a goofball onscreen, but he can be very wise and supportive when needed

Kai and Baekhyun also realise that there is more to Park Nari than what the public sees; she's not just some cold-hearted, intimidating person, but she's actually very humble, wise, and emotional. Because of that, their urge to protect her more like a little sister comes out.

They try to help her lower her guard and have fun when they are around; she no longer has to be on guard and act responsible as one of the older members, she can relax around them because they will look after her and the others.

She is also a fan of SHINee - she and Haechan would definitely fangirl/boy about them

Minho is her bias - he became her bias after she watched them on Hello Baby

It doesn’t help that he’s such a gentleman, she gets all shy around him

But afterwards, they all develop an older brother x younger sister relationship - so Minho would definitely tease her about how she used to have a crush on him, and she’d be very embarrassed

SHINee look out for her a lot and help her as much as they can - especially when it comes to sexist things, like forcing her to diet, or being treated unfairly - you bet they will speak up (or yell) about it

If she wants to mess with her members, she and Yuta would speak Japanese to SHINee so the others don’t understand lol

Any interactions between SHINee and Nari are very wholesome, SM fans love seeing them together hanging out. SHINee are probably one of the few who were not intimidated by her in first meeting

They’re kind of guardians for Nari - father/uncle figures

She actually warmed up to them quickly because of how much they looked out for her ever since her trainee days

Since she is the only female in NCT, they try and make sure she’s doing okay by talking to her members, letting them know to look out for her and treat her well

They also know how much hate Nari gets for being the only female in NCT, and for how different she is - race and personality-wise, so they always try to speak highly of her as much as they can for those close-minded people to be silenced

Heechul especially mentions her during Knowing Brothers - whether to compliment her or to tease the male idols on the show who confess to having crushes on her

“Yah, better watch yourself, she has all of the males in SM protecting her! Not that she needs protecting because she knows how to fight back...but still! She has all of SM behind her!”

They’re also people she can hang around to destress - you know how chaotic they can get, and how much they don’t care about their image, so they always try to have her join in on their mess to destress - which are most of the time successful - but they also are there for her when she needs to talk to someone

Nari accidentally befriended them (mainly Jungkook) through Jaehyun’s phone

He was in the shower when Jungkook rang, and Nari misread the beginning of his name, ‘Jung’ for ‘Jungwoo’ and answered the call

And that’s how she befriended BTS lol. (Jungkook actually used to be very scared of the woman, so imagine the shock he felt when Nari answered the call in a weird way, thinking she was talking to Jungwoo jajjjajajajja)

People expected Jaehyun to be close to at least Jungkook, and when they saw how comfortable and familiar all BTS members were with Nari, the world was sHoOk - “HOW DO THEY KNOW EACH OTHER?!?!” (but like, everyone knows Nari in the industry in some way dbgkabg)

They don’t really show their friendship to the world because of some fans being possessive and such, but they would sometimes hint at hanging out with Nari - like, once, V posted a story of him at an art gallery, and you hear a female voice in the background talk to him about art - and of course, NCTzens recognised Nari’s voice

The two afterwards didn’t give a crap about the speculations, and simply posted another story of the two posing with the caption, “Same age friends” - cuz him, Nari, and Jimin are the same age

Suga mentioned once in a Vlive, “Male and female idols are allowed to be just friends,” when people asked him about Nari - Nari and BTS’ relationship is very chill

Lived in the same neighborhood

He's the one who asked her out

Jiao was always somewhat possessive of Yexi and didn't trust her since they went to different schools

The two fought a lot due to his jealousy

Seeing that the two were toxic Jackson got involved after a particularly bad fight between them that looked like it could get physical.

Jackson told Yexi she wasn't allowed to see him anymore. It caused a huge fight between Yexi and Jackson.

After Jackson pointed out that she saw the relationship as normal because that was what she witnessed with her parents but he refuses to watch her be in the same type of relationship.

The relationship with Jiao changed the way Yexi approached relationships in the future.

Xiao Bai / Brian Xiao (2010 - 2011)

Went to the same International School in China

He's the one who asked her out but she denied him for months, but he continued to chase her and show her how much he liked her.

Her first love

Her mom and Jackson were hesitant in letting her date again but Bai ended up showing them he was different from Jiao and won her mom and Jackson over.

Ended up becoming close friends with Jackson as the two were the same age.

He showed her what a good relationship should be like

The only reason they ended it was because she was spending more time at the dance studio and was debating on following Jackson to Korea. He didn't want to make her choose between her dreams and him so he let her go and supported her decisions.

The two stayed friends and he used to text her congratulations for Seventeen's achievements.

When they would have tour stops in Hong Kong she always set a ticket aside for him.

They slowly lost contact over the years and when Yexi kept having to change her number eventually all contact stopped.

Park Chanyeol (2016-2017)

Met during the recording of Goblin OST 'Stay With Me'

Never made things official but stayed in the talking stage for ~6 months

They ended things amicably and on good terms, still consider each other as close friends

The 5 year age difference made Chanyeol hesitant to persue anything with Yexi in the beginning

It took a lot of convincing on Yexi's side due to the 95, 96, and 97 line being semi against them being together, especially 95 line. 95 and some of 96 line never fully approved of the 'relationship'

Had intense chemistry and truly cared for each other

When they do occasionally meet up they pretty much pick up where they left off and flirt the entire time

Neither wanted to end things but due to increasing schedules for both and the fact that they both experienced anxiety over people finding out since there was a big age gap and Yexi was still considered a rookie
