i make a pride endcap or two at my work every year, and every year i put a lot of effort into making it a beautiful, eye-catching rainbow.

i bust out the waterfall fixtures, i find all the nice things to make the best display, i hoard stuff year round to wait and put up there, i got special little shelves i took the time to cut and wrap rainbow fabric and stickers to, i made them spend store funds on balloons and banners, i made my own little happy text bubbles, the whole 9 yards.

the issue then becomes customers will purchase items from my special little gay shelf, ruining my perfect display, and i get mad for no reason, even though i know if they didn't buy things from the shelf, they might not let me take up the prime real-estate that is first endcap in the power aisle anymore :(

i DO really like that everyone from all the other departments are like "HEY i got a rainbow item? or a pretty red thing for the red shelf? is it ok if i put it there?" and hold it up to my for my approval like i'm Little Lord Gay of my workplace

She did NOT help us whatsoever and the three of us (the one who stayed over, RC, and I) were bitching ab her to the manager who was suprised I was even agreeing/jumping in which was funny bc the same thing happened with BratBoy when he became our manager and we were bitching ab NewLady. Funny how a year later the only thing that's changed is THE FUCKING MANAGER

RC also ratted her out to BaldBastard lmao and he was like well it's a leadership issue then, your teamlead and Bootleg FGM should be the ones enforcing this, ect ect LIKE BITCH IT'S YOUR STORE!!! WHAT THE FUCK

Was a little peeved ab having to do the audit only bc my area was a goddamn MESS (NikeShitë was destroyed, endcap was just a goddamn loss, not to mention I still have 8 items to get out) but I didn't mind the audit itself. We got it down to like under $1500 error (which is really really good, the womens was $8,000 yesterday. But women be shopping stealing. RC was like "we probably could have brought it down more but I spent all day looking so I tried.") And I honestly think we could have gotten it even lower but hey Baldy said it was great so ✌

Oh and after asking for like 18 months, I'm FINALLY in the auditing/price change system
