Nico was with his baby daughter when he saw a distressed 5 year old swept up in monaco tides (before the parents noticed and the kid's friends weren't back to tell them), and he literally dived into the water fully clothed and brought the kid back. Nico's a strong swimmer + triathlon runner and he ventures the Monaco sea a lot.

his management confirmed the incident happened but Nico refused to comment on it. And it was in 2016, peak championship he could've used this as good PR really flex being a Samaritan but didn't. i always thought it was pretty cool of him. ❤️
