Hanfu movement is about MODERN ethnic clothing. What is the authentic “han” clothing? Who is going to decide for everyone? There are millions of Chinese around the world. Who could say something and everyone would follow? You? Me? The China government? Come on the moment China government said something it will be on the news that a totalitarian regime is mandating how people should dress.
Korean, Japan, Vietnam and England did not have such a tragic discontinuation of wearing their style when they all have their “modernization” period of pain. Also, have you considered the amount of Chinese involved in the situation? Also the geographical differences, the culture background and the resulted fashion preference of those people? Having only one (1) style of clothing actually is not the norm. Like the Dai people could have very different clothing depending on their villages. And the related Thai women in Thailand have at least... 7 different blouses? And those are modern invention too. Less than 100 years.
I live in a country where wearing traditional clothing, at least for women (pretty sure this is a relic from the colonialism period - men wore the European clothes while the women wore the ethnic clothes to show “fusion”, “respect” etc.), is very normal, even for work. For example, Indians. What is the traditional clothing of an Indian woman? A sari, you may say. But in my experience, most people don’t wear sari to work. I asked my teacher why. She said she did not like showing the waist. I only had one colleague who regularly wears Sari to work. But she is also a priest. Also I am quite sure that she only wears Sari when she is going to the temple on that day. What does the other wear usually?  Usually they wear a tunic plus a trousers. There are many many many different types of tunic and I did not follow them. Each type of tunic are most likely came from different region (so the bottom to match is actually slightly different, but again, I did not follow). I remember back in high school, once they showed about 20 different types of Indian clothing, each from different regions, or different kingdoms historically. And that was put together by one (1) schoolmate. I am sure there is much more variants in Indian traditional clothing.
In addition, clothing from each dynasty reflected their characteristics. And modern Chinese needs something that reflect them. So why stick to a dynasty when you have so many to chose from? Looking back at different periods of time was also what people did back in the days (Ming dynasty), but they did not have the technology nor the archeological discoveries that we can access nowadays. Also people from different regions have different needs. Certain styles would be more prominent in certain regions.  And those not suitable for people will fall into disuse.  Like, quju was rather popular a decade ago, but only a handful of people are into it now, because the construction of the clothing does not match modern needs.
So forming a modern Han clothing is still an ongoing process. It has only been, like, 20 years? It takes time to come to a conscious. Many people just started to wear hanfu recently. It takes time to build up their taste and wardrobe. Historically, it took a few decades for Ming dynasty to settle into their own style. Chill. People will come to a conclusion. Give them time. Give yourself time.
If one don’t want to sit it up one could always wear the cheongsam. Even then there are so many different cuts to choose from. XP   There is also non-cheongsam Chinese traditional clothing but people probably don’t recognize them and only really old grannies wear them nowadays. And most of them switched to buttons, at least in my region.
On the other hand, please consider cultivating your own social experience. And only hang out with friends or circles that decided on the style you also liked. I know there are people who are firmly focus on late late Ming style. There are also a lot of events and gatherings that are style-limited. YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN CALL. Don’t let the others decide for you. If you wear hanfu, you are one of the movement. Development your own circle if you like certain style. Consider becoming an influencer if you want people to follow your way. (Also, some people are only in for the money and know no shit about hanfu. So beware.)
Lastly, the online filter bubble is actually very strong if one picks the right people to follow. Like, a couple months ago I asked my friend what did she think about the fashion trend this year because I couldn’t see one. She said, definitely heziqun, especially for the newbies. For me, I have seen nearly zero news and updates on heziqun since Qinghuige time because I only followed a selection of people and bots on weibo. Since anyone wearing hanfu as daily wear for a few years knew heziqun is a recent invention (less than 3 years) as the whole structure is ridiculous and tedious to wear, so heziqun isn’t something those people would consider. Therefore I don’t see them on my dash. There were a couple of beidaiqun. Meh. Tang style is a wild place. Don’t go into Tang style if you want 100% historical accurate style. Or don’t even go into general hanfu fashion but only follow that handful of research and reconstruction blogs.
TLDR: There is no one that has the authenticity in Hanfu Movement to decide what specific style people should stick to. Make your own decision and hang out with people of like mind if you don’t want to see a variation of styles appearing in one place.

I’m going to preface this by saying that I’m not a professional critic or reviewer, and these are just my subjective opinions. There’s no need to get upset that someone on the internet has a different opinion than you.
Now, with that out of the way- I THINK WORM SUCKS
Okay just kidding. It’s good, I like it a lot… but for the most part, I like it despite its protagonist, rather than because of her. And not just because I think the story contorts itself around her in a frustrating way, although it very much does do that. It’s just that, at the end of the day, I don’t think there’s much about her that makes for an interesting viewpoint character.
At the end of the day, what actually motivates Taylor? She starts off wanting to ‘be a hero,’ but gives up on that pretty quickly, yet never really commits to ‘being a villain’ either. It’s not saving the world, either, that’s just basic self-preservation. Her real motivation is simple- protecting her friends, and having them continue to like her. She continues being a villain explicitly for the latter reason (once Coil is dead and Dinah is free there’s no real reason for her to remain a villain other than that), and does most of what she does in service of the former.
Self-preservation and the desire to protect one’s friends are fine primary motivations for a main character… in the right context. For the former, we need only look at Blake from Pact, whose life is in constant danger through pretty much the entire book, so he never gets the chance to develop any goals beyond ‘stay alive,’ and instrumental to that, ‘get stronger.’ That’s fine- it would be weird if Blake was really preoccupied with some other goal considering all that’s happening to him during the events of that story.
Likewise, in the latter case, you have Sylvester from Twig, whose desire to protect his friends is important because their lives are considered expendable, so wanting to protect them motivates him to act proactively and pursue other goals. He even extends his definition of ‘friends’ to basically all experiments, which eventually pushes him to take on the entire Academy and Crown, because he’s got a problem with what they do to his fellow experiments and him. That’s a great motivation for a character! (Twig is the best thing Wildbow has ever written and I hope it never gets a sequel.)
On the other hand, Taylor wanting to protect her friends is a much weaker motivation, because they are almost never in any danger that they didn’t put themselves in. I can’t really cheer for her beating up on Protectorate heroes to save her pals because they chose to take over an entire city. That’s on them. Of course, Taylor is incapable of not perceiving it as unjust persecution, because she has a literal victim complex, and rightfully so, she was a victim for a long time, but not for most of the events of the story itself.
So when it comes down to it, her motivation is basically ‘me and my friends should be able to do whatever we want, and get to kill anybody who tries to stop us.’ Which isn’t an especially compelling motivation from an outside perspective! If she was really driven to be the best parahuman criminal in the city, and supplanting Coil as a crime lord was her plan all along, that would at least be interesting, but she just kind of gets dragged along into everything, and then retroactively justifies it in her mind by deciding the people opposing her are ‘bullies.’
As a consequence of this, Taylor doesn’t really stand for anything, either. She does plenty, but in many ways she’s still basically a passive protagonist, going in whichever direction the flow of the narrative takes her. It just so happens that the narrative flows very quickly, so she never ends up spinning her wheels too long (badly mixing metaphors there, I know), but if things weren’t constantly happening for her to respond to, Taylor really wouldn’t end up doing much on her own.
So- we’ve established why I think Taylor makes for a weak protagonist. Let’s take a look at who I think would make for a compelling replacement.
Number one with a bullet, it’s your boy Theo. I’ve touched on this recently elsewhere, but I want to make a more comprehensive pitch for him now. You might say ‘but isn’t Theo also largely reactive and motivated by self-preservation?’ To a degree, yeah- most of what he does in the story is motivated by not wanting to get killed by Jack Slash. But even if you take Jack out of his story completely, he would still have a more interesting motivation than Taylor. The heroic scion (heh) of a villainous legacy trying to atone for his parents’ misdeeds is a way more interesting story than whatever she has going on. The thing with Jack is just a cherry on top.
(Atonement is a great character motivation in general, which is part of why Rain would have been a far superior protagonist for Ward than Victoria, but that’s a whole ‘nother post.)
Obviously you’d have to rework the story somewhat significantly to make him work as the protagonist, but I think it’s doable. If you wanted to keep things as much the same as possible, you’d probably start with Theo already in the Chicago Wards, and tell the story of how he got there in recurring flashbacks. Taylor could also still be in the story, I actually kind of think she’d work better as a supporting character (as long as you got rid of some of the truly ridiculous shit she did like killing Alexandria). Seeing her training Theo from his perspective would be very interesting, since canon Worm skips pretty much all that stuff.
Next pick: Weld. You might think you’re detecting a theme here, but not so much, actually. Weld’s story is more about him becoming disillusioned with the Protectorate, and even with being a hero in general. But unlike Taylor, who gives up on being a hero roughly three chapters into Worm, that would be a slow arc, starting with him as a true believer, who over the course of the entire story loses his faith and quits to found his own team. It’s worth noting too that the Irregulars weren’t just an independent hero team, but mercenaries, which suggests Weld has soured on the ‘hero’ thing overall.
Plus, Weld has a very solid motivation- finding out who the hell turned him into a Case 53. That’s an actual goal he could pursue over the course of a story and get closure for! We could see his relationship with Sveta actually develop, watch him try to manage the internal tensions of the Irregulars, and go up against Cauldron, which Taylor only really interacts with incidentally until the very end of the story.
Third choice: Faultline. We know a lot less about her than any of the others I’ve named so far- her interlude is so unmemorable I actually forgot it existed before writing this. We never learn her actual name (I’d keep ‘Miss Fitts’ because I like the pun but modern wildbow is a joyless monster so he’d probably change it) or even her trigger event, but I still think she’d make a solid choice. Clearly Wildbow agrees because she was the protagonist in an earlier draft of the story.
Much like Weld, she has a strong motivation in wanting to track down Cauldron, and I think the cast of characters surrounding her is more interesting than the Irregulars, and arguably even the Undersiders themselves.
My next choice is gonna be controversial, but… Armsmaster. Yeah, he starts out as an antagonistic force in Worm, but only because Taylor perceives literally every authority figure in existence as her enemy. His actual story is really compelling, not least because I firmly believe he was framed for the armband thing. That interpretation isn’t canon, but the facts fit, and I think it makes Worm a hundred times more interesting, so I choose to believe it.
So you have a kind of autistic, extremely driven but also somewhat self-involved hero, who gets framed for something he didn’t do, loses everything, and has all the people whose respect he was hoping to earn turn on him. And he comes back from that! Tell me that isn’t a more interesting story than Taylor, who never meaningfully loses a fight or has anything taken from her.
Bonuses for him include: getting to see him fight Leviathan one on one from his perspective, getting a better look at the inner workings of the Protectorate and Guild, giving his relationship with Dragon more development, and seeing a Tinker actually do some tinkering, which is something we’ve basically been completely denied across two books.
And finally, we have the wildcard option: someone else entirely. There are vast swathes of Worm’s world left entirely unexplored, and I’m sure there are plenty of more interesting protagonists hiding somewhere in them. People with more interesting powers, histories, and motivations than the protagonist we actually got. Or Victoria. Goddamn do I wish we got someone other than Victoria for Ward. Rain was right fucking there, hoW DO YOU FUCK THAT UP AAAA
okay that’s it, post over, thanks for reading. bye

here we go again:
I'm convinced Pinkie Pie is a benevolent eldritch horror, or just a Toon capitol T in an otherwise semi-grounded cartoon. Either way, she is expressive and always active as Time players usually are, and focused on the fun stuff while avoiding issues, probably. Hey I said I didn't watch this show properly, and I needed a time player. So, Bard of Time!
Bard is one of two Destroyer Classes. Rather than willingly or proactively, by mere existence they draw in destruction of or through their Aspect. For better or for worse. This leads to some neglection of pressing matters, as what needs to be taken care of seems to take care of itself one way or another.
Time is the Aspect of Causality, Entropy, Expansion, Heat, Death, and the good ol Flow of Time. It encompasses things that are happening and are always happening. It just keeps happening.

ok so im reading through Almost Nowhere and i have Complaints about it's structure and wanted to vent but also not to the point of actually commenting on the thing itself. (its a Well-made story. this all comes from a place of admiration/love for the thing so i didnt want to put it in a public tag)
So after seeing you reblog the ending announcement i started reading it. current spot is chapter xxi, or sylvie vs hector's forces. (is sylvie just a jadesprite expy. is hector just a Dirk/Dave. is that what is going on. ugh it figures. anyway.)
pros: premise fills that timeline bullshit appetite, and has some fascinating evolutions of its timeline and the puzzle therein. the actual setup and climax of the Annes escape story was very exciting, and the notebooks are a fascinating conceit. and the entire story could be summarized as "hey aliens put everyone in mini The Matrix realities and people gotta figure out how to deal with that/escape?" which is a pretty good premise. the Annes were my favorite part.
cons:
due to being about timeline bullshit and specifically miscommunication causing disaster, it also is incredibly hard to parse even when it's trying to be clear. i get the multiple narrator conceit, and i get that Azad is glued to a thesaurus, but it feels like its getting in it's own way way more often than not. Its doing the "im using the more complicated word to sound smart rather than be accurate or communicate my message" thing, and its hard to parse how much of that is purposeful. I found it exhausting after a few hundred pages.
as time loops are a core aspect of the story, most of the characters feel like they have very little actual impact or agency on the plot. they're protagonists as designated, but grant and cordelia do very little of note- where i am now Grant's basically just a guy to get explained at and he got addicted to a sub-reality game for a while. he is important because sylvie is his dog, but beyond pining for Azad and getting things explained to him, Grant doesnt feel like he Does anything
however Grant is still my favorite character because he's the only one who actually says "what the fuck are you talking about, explain it better" which the entire text desperately needs.
its gotten to the point that the text's own coy obfuscation of itself has made me disconnect from caring about the characters- and that's Poisonous.
the story makes its Stakes either too big or too small. its either about a characters self doubts or its about finding a way to escape a reality by killing it's god. but theres very little in-between, or focuses on how one relates to the other. its hard to care when the stakes are too high (unrelateable), and its hard to care when theyre too low for too long (character feels whiny and passive).
its best done in the Annes story- her personal turmoil over her incredibly bizarre circumstances leading to resentment and action- killing her father-god- were united and flowed into each other. usually an escalation of stakes is accompanied by development of character. but beyond the Annes, i feel like there are no characters who have developed. theres no proactivity that feels like itll actually change things. its just characters that have been acted upon (not-entertaining). (and i get that time loop bullshit makes that point hard but its also sapping the enjoyment of reading the overall story itself and needs to be addressed.)
at this point i feel like the plot has become concerned with it's own telling, which is arguably what's actually happening- everything is being written because timeloop bullshit demands it and everyone caught inside is powerless to struggle against it, including the audience- but im not finding it entertaining anymore. I want to care about the characters more, but the text is reinforcing it's own disassociation-themes to the point where its getting unfun to read.
to be fair- i did read up to where i am over the course of two days, which is a Lot to take in at once. even on release this wasnt a story thats binge-friendly and im probably bouncing off of it's weirdness because i havent had time to digest it. However it's fascinating in its setups- in the questions it asks and the puzzles of the world, its just failing to provide characters that match. and maybe it has, and has just been presented deliberately obtusely and i missed the point- (which is an in-text theme! But also I can't explore that theme if the audience's participation is lost so it still is a Bad Thing!) which i would also argue is a Problem, not a success.
anyway anyway Flower that Bloomed Nowhere slaps and its mystery structure serves as a great device to convey the otherwise Intricate worldbuilding (and i like how said worldbuilding is usually introduced only as it has context to a Motive or as a Clue because it makes said worldbuilding feel meaningful which is nice) and im excited to see what happens next hope you have a good day byeeeee
hm- well, uh, i think a pretty good chunk of AN's readership is in my general orbit on here, so you're gonna get roughly the same effect as putting it in the tag, but-
i mean, the thing with AN is that... the main thing you're down on it for is sort of the whole game it's playing. first it introduces a concept in a bizarre, flowery, obfuscatory way that's playing around with language- and then it does that again, and again, from various angles, with different sorts of obfuscation, so you slowly get a picture of the concept through a sort of blind-men-and-the-elephant process. that's the fun of it, that's the game, doing a deep dive on the presentational tomfoolery to try and figure out what's going on before it just tells you.
that's what Grant's there for- he says "what the fuck are you talking about, explain it better", after it's already gone a few rounds of deliberately not explaining it clearly, and given you a chance to chew on it and try and piece it together for yourself. he's the answer key at the end of the puzzle, the way the story signposts "okay, so by this point you should pretty much Get this concept".
if you're just blasting through it to try to absorb the content as directly as possible, i can see the way the story presents itself kind of working against you, yeah. it's not trying to be obtuse for no reason- it's being obtuse because the process of grappling with the obtuse is the main selling point. if you don't like doing that, if it just bugs you when the story won't just say what it wants to say, yeah, it's not gonna be a good fit.
i kind of agree that some of the character arcs seem a little weak- like, i'm not entirely positive what Cordelia's doing here? what the point of her is? and- oh, god, don't tell Cordelia i said that, that's exactly what the poor thing doesn't need to hear.
but i think that's a product of... like, these aren't all supposed to be protagonists of a story. they're primarily lenses into the story, different perspectives on what's happening. they're part of the mechanics of the game, sources of new narration to use as part of the puzzle. grant doesn't really do anything, in-story, sure- but he's extremely active in nailing down concepts.
"the plot has become concerned with it's own telling"- yep. that's what it's doing. it's kind of always been doing that. personally, i like that!
i might have a bias here due to... having been following it on a serial basis for years since chapter 1? like, that's a format that lends itself well to the way the story wants to be engaged with, the slow and meticulous reading that leaves lots of time for contemplation. i'm not sure if i can evaluate how well that all works archivally- whether this is just a matter of differing preferences in how to consume fiction, or if structurally it's somehow encouraging a shallower reading that it doesn't reward as much.

Key, what did you think of the finale??
Aaaahhh, I'm sorry for the delay, Anon.
Truth is, I still don't know how to express myself!
I'm all feelings, mostly fondness and despondency. I'm going to miss them, but I'm going to miss even more the buildup to them, y'know? It was always fun to have it on the horizon, and there's a sense of loss. I mean, I know that there'll be the special in March, and New mentioned that he wants to do a domestic DeanPharm thing that WinTeam will probably be in as well. Realistically speaking they know they'll benefit from follow-ups, but the main series buildup is over, and I'm still processing it.
I haven't rewatched it since I watched it on Sunday, either! I'm planning to make a cut for myself of just WinTeam so I can binge just their part. I'm really curious how the flow will work.
I loved all their scenes in the finale, and I'll definitely make a reaction of some kind to it. I've never actually been really proactive in making content while a series is airing because I'm just kind of enjoying the ride, but for BU I didn't want to miss out on the few months of activity, so I'm glad I've been back on Tumblr to do long-form posts and to enjoy everyone else's.
I'm just all emotions, Anon. I miss them. :'(

can you rank all of the types from your most favourite to least favourite? i’m curious to see your opinion on all of them
Passing judgement on all of humanity speedrun GO
This isn’t a disclaimer just to be polite, I really do mean it when I say that I am certain that the best and worst of humanity is spread pretty evenly through the types and I couldn’t give a definitive ‘you can stay while you go suck dirt outside’ tier list. Nearly any opinion I might have because of lived circumstance has enormous exceptions to it in either direction. I’m also a Five, so I’m a bit asocial to begin with, and all of my frens are happy accidents that I wouldn’t have thought to pick out based on personality data alone.
If I go really metaphorical it is also my belief that each type kind of exists to balance out the ecosystem. We are not better off getting rid of anybody or driving any kind of person into an artificial surplus because in the big complex rock-paper-scissors game of life we need everyone to make sure that we don’t tilt too hard one way or another. Each kind of person has a debug function.
I wrote these out in numerical order but I did do a little subjective blurb in the name of disclaiming biases.
One
Ones are my final fronter, the type that I’m still learning the most about currently. I can’t summon them from the ether so I can’t fill my knowledge gap by force, but the Ones that I do know are a bit too unique for me to round into a continuous sense of what the type “usually looks like.” The Ones that I know are off-the-wall eccentric, which both does and doesn’t show up in the profiles depending on what ones you read. On the topic of if I get along with them personally, it really matters what morals they’ve attached themselves to because they need channels to flow their intense energy through. There’s a bit of a correlation between this type and obsessive-compulsive behaviors, so one needs to be understanding of that.
I have the least useful insights into the ins and outs of how Ones function right now so any assessment I could do of them would be incomplete U-U.
Two
Twos have been nice to me but it’s complicated. My nature does not mesh well with the Two helper streak, I’m still a bit traumatised from a few early life scuffles where I basically couldn’t do anything right by them. I know that I’m usually half the problem in these situations so I can’t pass this off as judgement but I have to be very mentally proactive to spot if something is starting to catch fire so I can put it out beforehand—have I stepped on toes, have I entered into unspoken debt, did I miss a social nuance that I need to go back and fix, are they lying about being fine, ect. I feel like I might be a little bit… scared of them? Due to my history, but as long as I’m not directly involved in the situation it’s less of an issue.
Good people. Nature went “we’re going to make a person who’s sense of fulfillment is helping other people”, almost entirely counter-intuitive to rhetoric that insists that everyone is only out for themselves. It’s a bit more complicated than that when ego gets involved, but most of the healthy Twos I know fall under being absurdly good people.
Three
To this day I’ve never had a Three in my immediate life, even though I think we might have good, dry conversations. Threes can be very hit or miss depending on how authentic they seem to be, but I do like the ones that seem more transparent and grounded in themselves.
I’m not gonna lie, Threes get evil when they go bad. Politicians, CEOs, used car salesmen, if they fall asleep inside themselves while unconsciously deciding that all they want is ‘success’ they become exactly the kind of people you would imagine. The real risk factor is when their talent for getting what they want outpaces their inner personal development, and you get someone deeply dissociated with an ends-above-means attitude. The thing is, the antidote to a Three that’s gone off the rails is often another Three that can spot all the moves they’re making and has the conscience to push against them. They’re powerful allies when their hearts are in the right place.
Four
I feel like I like Fours. Specifically I like when they’re living up to their ‘kinda strange’ reputation and I get to have conversations that I would never have otherwise. In the yearbook of the enneagram they’re on the list for ‘most likely to discuss the nuances of esoteric magic with me’ as a stereotype. They’re usually very striking and unique entertainers, which is a good time from a voyeur perspective.
Their ability to become unflappably self-righteous in their feelings means that they would go from being easy to talk to to very hard on short notice from a Five perspective. I feel like there’s also room for them to take issue with me if I’m not coming off as emotionally responsive enough on a given day.
Five
I like ‘em. The Fives that have made the biggest impact on me have been intellectually impressive, but they also just had a surprisingly compelling charisma. Nobody talks about the Five charisma, and I would start but I don’t know how. I wouldn’t call them non-judgemental but the ‘it is what it is’ attitude is the slightly more decisive cousin of the Nine vibe.
Ah, the epic highs and lows of being around other people who share parts of your base nature. I can have a turbulent relationship to other Fives, since I went for so long without seeing many of them I never learned to live with the cracked mirror effect. It’s hard to not take someone who you feel has a core very similar to yours and go “oh god what are you doing” when they embark on something you would never do. I’m calming down and letting people be their own people in my brain, but mmmm it can make things hard to watch sometimes.
Six
My relationship to Sixes is neutral-positive, but they’re basically the default human being in my brain, so I feel like saying anything against them would be like complaining about human nature. There are so many Sixes online, when it comes to posters it feels like they’re everywhere. They confused me in the past, but Sixes were the first type that I put active effort into really understanding, so those days feel far behind me now. They’re still capable of doing unhinged things, but I now have the info to stand back and go ‘yup, that may as well happen.’
My best friend is a Six and we’ve indulged in conversations about the mechanics of the world for over a decade, which is pog. I’m pretty sure I’m only civilised because of them.
Seven
I have a joke that’s only half a joke about how Sevens are part fey. Even when it’s not a good idea to like them, they’re very likeable, and that’s a little bit dangerous. Sevens feel kind of tragic to me because of this-- a lot of people become attracted to the way that they can lift other peoples moods. I had never met someone who soberly identified themselves as a manic pixie dream girl until my recent Seven friend.
The sevens that I’ve had personal and direct contact with are frighteningly smart, which is something that doesn’t come up in discussions about them often. Underrated but not for the reasons you would think. I don’t have personal negative stories but as we’ve covered, there are some Sevens that can be found by the trail of devastation and broken hearts they leave behind.
Eight
Hard on the outside, soft on the inside, a tootsie pop that can punch you out. It would be a lie to say that I don’t default to being intimidated (most do) but depending on who they are I can get over it. Fun to have as a growth point--“We have very little in common so why do I understand you right now?”
Learning to interpret some of their behaviors was a big learning curve for the ones with the bigger auras, but I’ve gotten on episodically with the ones that are a bit more downplayed and shy. This is another type that isn’t talked about enough for how smart they can be. Also capable of living the Evil CEO life if they choose to prioritise making sure that nobody has a meaningful amount of power over them—never trust a survivalist.
Nine
If there’s a type that immediately calls to mind absolute neutrality, it makes sense that it’s Nines. Nines are wildly contextual. I’ve got Nines in my friend group and we get on great, but I’ve also seen some dreadfully bad outcomes with this type. My milage really varies depending on what their internal moral code looks like, because some of them just… don’t have one, or at least not one that extends beyond “everybody be chill.” Nines are capable of astonishing evil through internal laziness, which not everyone thinks to take seriously at first glance. They’re actually right up there with Threes in terms of potentially falling asleep inside themselves as long as their immediate comfort is guaranteed.
On the other end of the spectrum, there are Nines who are literally the exact opposite of this, so again context and moral compass matters. Some of them are unshakably moral, so this is another type that is their own antidote.

Manifesting Your Dreams during Crisis
"To understand how all of this comes into play in manifesting your life dreams, you need look click here to learn more no further than your intuition so you can maintain your livelihood and create the lifestyle you want to lead."
Today’s economic and credit crunch has driven some individuals to the brink of bankruptcy and sadly, Manifesting Your Dreams during Crisis  Articles even suicide. However, if some of these individuals had only taken the time to listen to their intuition and had strategically planned their outcomes, they may not have ended up in the situations they did. I want you to succeed, as does your Higher Source. You were created to be a unique and powerful human being, who can achieve any thing if you only have enough faith to do so.   It’s always a good idea to let go and let god. It’s not an arduous task, really. It’s simply turning over the wheel so that your higher consciousness can guide you in the appropriate direction.
Too many times, people have control issues and don’t want to let others, especially a spiritual force lead their lives. It puts a cramp in their style. “I don’t need someone else telling me what to do or guide me in a specific direction,” they say. It’s not about having someone or a Higher Power “telling you what to do,” It’s more or less about allowing your inner wisdom to lead you. Your inner wisdom, by the way, is directly connected to the Universal flow of energy, which is an essential part of your Higher Consciousness.   To understand how all of this comes into play in manifesting your life dreams, you need look no further than your intuition so you can maintain your livelihood and create the lifestyle you want to lead.   Here are four tips to doing just that:
1. Listen to your gut feelings. If something doesn’t appear right to you, or your gut is telling you to move forward, then analyze the situation and proceed. Either way you go, you have at least taken the time to really listen to your inner wisdom. When you listen to your intuition, it helps you to stay focused in order to succeed.
2. Learn self-discipline. In order to create an extraordinary lifestyle, you have to become proactive in the role of your personal and professional growth. That means you must practice courage, discipline, and enthusiasm to gain wealth freedom and to achieve prosperity in all aspects of your life.
3. Define your intentions and create your mind map. Defining your intentions means that you need to really take note of what it is you want to attain in life. If you truly want to manifest your life dreams, you have to know what it is you are seeking. If you desire a new career, a life partner, a family, or maybe you just want to achieve inner peace in your life – whatever you define your goals to be are your intentions. When you have intentions, these are going to become part of the mind map of what you want to create in your life.   Your mind map can be sketched on a yellow sticky note, a journal, or on a spiral notebook. You don’t have to be an artist, but you do need some crayons, a pencil, markers, or a pen – no matter, you pick. What’s important is knowing what your intentions are, and drawing out ways to accomplish your intentions. For example, if your ultimate goal is simply leading a happy, fulfilling life – draw out items that you equate with being happy. Remember, you don’t have to be a Michelangelo - just simple artwork like $$ symbols, squares and triangles (for homes), female or male stick figures will do, too. Draw lines to the central part of your mind map to connect all of these wonderful things, feelings, places, and even words to create your personal mind map. Now that you’ve defined your intentions and created your mind map, the next step is to…
4. Design your strategic vision action plan. As a part of the Manifestation Method, the strategic vision action plan helps you to acquire financial freedom in your life. This unique plan was created to help you align your thoughts with the correct action plan and your mind map to achieve positive results you want in life. By using this innovative strategic vision action plan, you will suddenly begin to see your wealth begin to overflow. And when I say wealth, I mean wealth in a broader sense – wealth in finances, wealth in health, wealth in happiness, wealth in relationships, etc.   You see, you can still manifest your dreams during a crisis. You just have to have the right set of mind tools and the right mindset to get you on your way. The rest is up to you!   Until we speak again, I am   Joan Marie the Gift, Intuition Girl Reserved Manifesting Your Dreams during Crisis By Joan Marie the Gift, Intuition Girl   About the Author: Joan Marie Whelan, an internationally known intuitive specialist business consultant, medium, and coach travels throughout the United States sharing her gifts and the Manifestation Method  with solo-preneurs, professionals, small business owners, and large companies.

Searching for Answers
Today I want to pay special attention to a specific card - Computer Search.
I want this card to be played, because I want to reduce the amount of Supporter cards played in decks, as well as ensure that decks don't fill up with Supporters as the game progresses - which tends to happen frequently, as Supporters are the only resource that leaves your deck at a limited pace - yes, Energies also happen to have that kind of limitation, but Energy acceleration is a thing, while Supporter acceleration - not really.
However, I feel like Computer Search does not currently fulfill that role correctly and I will try to explain why, and what is ultimately the solution to this problem.
In game design, it is very helpful to think in terms of an "ideal game scenario", usually called a "player story". What is the ideal sequence of events for the player to experience? And, once we have that, how can we achieve it?
Well, the ideal situation would be for the player to play a draw Supporter every turn. This way they can have a fresh selection of cards and hopefully draw into the next Supporter they can use in the next turn. Now it is worth noting that, if this is really the case - and it does appear to be this way in actual Pokemon TCG, where sequencing your supporters is key - then perhaps this random "Supporter flow" should be replaced with just drawing more cards each turn. It seems to me that for Pokemon TCG to function, players need to have more than 1 card of "free draw" each turn - and in competitive Pokemon TCG that number rises to 6 or 7 new cards per turn. It is worth noting that Genshin Impact TCG, an arguable clone of Pokemon TCG, lets players draw 2 cards at the end of their turn, from a deck of 30.
However, changing the base amount of cards drawn at the beginning of the turn is too harsh of a change. If we are to truly "remix" and not "remake", we must keep this mechanic of "Supporter flow".
So, let's go back to the example of "player story". The average draw power in the format is 3 - as seen on Bill. Let's be generous and count 1 extra card from the beginning of your turn. If players want to be sure they can consistently see a new draw Supporter each turn, they have to play at least 15 draw Supporter cards. Obviously, most other Supporters let you see more cards specifically in order to increase your chances of seeing the next Supporter. But, on the other hand, players have to overcompensate, as being caught without a Supporter puts you in a massive disadvantage, dropping you to a single card per turn.
Computer Search was designed with a clear goal in mind - if the Supporter's goal is to get the player to the next Supporter, then Computer Search can do the same while being an item. In practice, Computer Search replaces a Supporter in your deck - the upside is the "catrip" effect, a slang term from Magic for a card that gets you another card, "slimming down" your deck and making it more consistent. The downside is, of course, you don't know what you're going to get. And this downside plays a major role in how a deck with Computer Search would choose its Supporters. Replacing four copies of a draw Supporter with Computer Search is not ideal, since you could easily end up with a Rival, Cooltrainer, or some other type of "effect" Supporter.
So, let's go back to our "player story", but let's look at it from a deckbuilding perspective. We want players to run a limited number of draw Supporters. We also want them to run "effect" Supporters without fear.
The tricky part here is - you cannot design a card that "gets the player out" of the situation where they have no Supporter, because if this card existed, players would simply play another Supporter and draw that instead. Therefore, that card must either work retroactively, or proactively - affect the past or the future, not the current situation. One extremely obvious example is a Pokemon card - if your Pokemon draws you cards, your reliance on Supporters is much lesser. However, using Pokemon for this task has very obvious drawbacks, like taking up bench space and/or wasting attacks to draw cards instead of winning the game.
So, what are the solutions? Well, on one hand, players should consider playing more Pokemon that help with the early game. Cards like Kangaskhan and Basics with Call for Family are great at getting out these important cards quicker. However, I don’t think Computer Search in its current form is a great card for all the reasons I’ve outlined above. As such, here is the changed Computer Search.
Tumblr media
The solution here might seem trivial, but it fulfills exactly the plan I’ve mentioned earlier - this card has to affect the future, not just the present. By giving the player two Supporter cards instead of one, we are easing off the pressure from this turn’s Supporter to draw into another. We are also avoiding the negative interaction with “effect” Supporters - they are still possible, but very unlikely.

Mutual Desire - Chapter 53
Tumblr media
*Warning - Adult Content*
Two minutes after Alexander Nabokov's departure, Damien Clarke remained in the same position, his butt glued to the table, his gaze lost in complete emptiness.
He wasn't certain that the actions that took place after he and Nabokov were left alone had in fact taken place.
You wouldn't think that minutes ago, he was hard like a pre-teen against Nabokov's erection.
And yet, sitting there on the table, confused and dazed, he still felt the effects that Nabokov had caused on his whole body.
When the Russian's body invaded his, it was as if everything had stopped and he had lost control of his own body.
Damien had allowed himself be overwhelmed by the heat which emanated from Nabokov, by his powerful hands on him, by his indecent lips which caused shivers all over his body and his erection that was rubbing against his.
Damien shook his head, taking his face in his hands, hoping to dispel those thoughts that threatened his erection of making a comeback.
It was, sadly, too late because Damien's manhood instantly began hardening under the fresh erotic images that he couldn't help replaying in his head of him and Nabokov.
It was exactly what Damien needed right now.
He was now alone in this room with an unwanted erection, like some pervert who was unable to control himself.
It was by no means as such that Damien had imagined his day to go.
Realizing that sitting half-hard on the table wasn't proactive on his part, Damien finally stood up.
He hesitated on his next moves considering that the swelling of his member was, no pun intended, hard to hide.
The priority was to get rid of this unwanted and harmful erection because Damien didn't really see how he was going to march to Nick's office tackling a bulge as if the whole thing was nothing.
He really hoped there was no one outside in front of the conference room because he only had his hands to protect himself.
Damien mentally cursed for not thinking of bringing something with him that he could have used to hide his hump.
To be fair, Damien hadn't thought he would've required such a thing since he hadn't anticipated any drastic change of the sort to happen.
Walking uncomfortably towards the door, Damien strategically placed a hand on his bump, knowing full well that he gave the impression of touching himself.
He had little choice open to him, either he hid his erection or made it visible to Nabokov's employees.
In both cases, Damien knew he would appear like a pervert.
If that was his reward for acting like a good friend by coming to a presentation despite not having no desire to do so, then karma had to adequately review its policies asap.
One hand on the door handle and the other placed very not subtly on his bump, Damien had a moment of hesitation and he took a breath before finally opening the door.
A sigh of relief escaped him as he fled the room when he noticed that outside was deserted.
Again, Damien exhaled loudly and he lost no time as he rushed quickly to the bathroom which he fortunately had no trouble finding.
Damien hastily entered one of the cubicles like a person suffering from an uncontrollable diarrhea.
He naturally thought that the stress his erection caused would have been enough to make it go away but it remained there, resistant and untouchable.
Closing the door behind him and locking it, Damien freed his dick from his pants in a fraction of a second where pre-come was already flowing.
His right hand grabbed his erection and Damien began to move it back and forth along his length.
His dick was fully hard thanks to the delicious massages that his hand graciously offered.
He regretted not having a bottle of lubricant at his fingertips so that he could make the friction between his hand and his shaft more pleasant.
He thought of spitting on it but that was just too much for him.
He was masturbating in his best friend's work bathroom for Christ sake.
He just wanted to come, so he could be done with this annoying erection.
Damien continued touching himself indecently, trying to control his breathing and the muffled noises coming out of his mouth.
He decided to have Craig occupying his mind as if that would forgive the unforgivable things he let happen.
This clearly didn't work.
No image of Craig came to mind.
On the contrary, it was Nabokov's masculine hands that were in Damien's erotic thoughts as well as his aggressive lips that Damien imagined all over his body.
Thirty seconds later, Damien ejaculated his semen in his hand, a few drops hitting the floor.
He took some toilet paper, wiped his hand and the damage on the ground before slowly exiting the cubicle.
It was probably the most boring masturbation Damien had had and that included his first times during puberty.
The total shame he felt that completely overwhelmed him during the act was likely the cause.
The mere thought of Alexander Nabokov's hands on his body had caused Damien Clark to come and that only heightened his disgust of himself.
He had a man, a man who loved him more than words and here he was in the cubicle of a bathroom, masturbating while having in mind the man who had caused his erection in the first place.
Wasn't he the worst piece of shit?
Damien already had an answer to that and day to day he seemed to carry a hatred against himself.
He went to one of the sinks where he washed his hands.
Then, he quickly glanced at the cubicles from afar, making sure he was the only one in the bathroom.
Damien hadn't thought about assuring that he was the sole occupant since he had hastened to enter the cubicle.
At least no one had witnessed the moans that had emerged from his mouth, nor had someone unconsciously witnessed his act, which would be frowned upon by many.
It was a small victory but a victory, nonetheless.
This victory was no longer of any importance to Damien when he glanced at his phone where two SMS from Nick caught his eye.
[What's happening? What is he telling you?]
[Come to my office when he's done talking to you.]
Damien sighed loudly and he cursed aloud, totally missing Nick's involuntarily sexual phrasing.
Damien had totally forgotten about him which was rather interesting since it was only for Nick that he was here, in this huge building.
It was as if Nabokov's physical or mental presence compelled him to disregard everything including his own best friend.
Reality brutally hit Damien on when he realized that Nick was most likely waiting for him in his office with a extensive list of questions for which he had hardly any answers.
The fact that Nabokov had demanded him to stay while as far Nick was concern, this was going to be the first time the two men were going to speak to each other was suspicious as such.
Damien was well aware that he wouldn't have an answer for Nick if Nick asked him why Nabokov had requested him to stay when the antivirus was by no means his and he didn't even work for the man.
Damien was already anticipating most of the questions Nick was going to ask him and if only he had the energy, he would have taken advantage of that to prepare ready-made answers.
But Damien was mentally exhausted, finding this day far too long for his liking.
He just wanted to go home, being left alone, never to hear of any software, presentations or Nabokov ever again.
But before that, he would have to confront Nick. It was time for him to finally be honest with the man he considered a brother.
Nick deserved it.
Damien intended, however, to maintain his relationship with Nabokov still a secret.
He wasn't ready yet to confide in Nick about this.
Maybe he would never be ready, who knows.
Damien knew that before going to see Nick, he needed to put his acting game on up front so that Nick won't realize that hardly thirty minutes ago, he had his erection stuck like a Siamese on his boss erection.
In any case Damien doubted that Nick would believe him, if he confessed his relationship with Nabokov, as this relationship was so far-fetched and that the Russian's actions showed how out of his mind he was.
When Damien joined Nick in his office, he tried as much as possible to put on a straight face mask.
He didn't know if he was successful because Nick greeted him with confusion on his face.
He emerged from his chair before going around his desk and reaching Damien near the door.
Damien could smell the questions ready to bombard him from miles away.
He was no longer certain whether telling the truth or even going to see Nick was ultimately a brilliant idea.
"Dude, what happened? What did he say to you?" Nicolas D’Alonzo hastened to say to Damien Clark, frowning.
Among all the questions Nick could have asked, he had chosen to go with the one that Damien most apprehended.
It was time for him to be frank with Nick and admit that his software wasn't going to be selected and that this second presentation had been to no avail.
Damien could do it.
He had to do it.
Although he had no desire to see Nick's face collapse with sadness and utter defeat and that he would probably not be able to bear it, Damien had to go all the way.
Because if he told Nick that Nabokov had chosen his software, it would result in Damien giving his body to the intimidating man for a night as he had proposed and undermine his relationship with Craig for good in the process.
Life was funny sometimes.
Damien could kill for Nick, die for him but break up his relationship with Craig was off-limits.
He had already caused enough suffering to Craig as it is.
Though he was aware that telling the truth was the best thing to do, the words were hard to spill out and Damien began to doubt if he really wanted to go all the way and reveal to his best friend this truth which he had been sheltering him from by leaving him in the dark.
Was he prepared to see his best friend broken by the truth?
To be the one to tell him that the project for which he worked so hard hadn't been accepted?
Looking at Nick's face, Damien was no longer certain that he would have the courage to go all the way.
He thought of Craig and his courage gradually returned.
He was really going to do it.
"Look Nick, we talked and he finds you really talented, and he thinks that your software is good but," Damien took a break, and he lowered his head and looked up immediately afterward, looking everywhere except at Nick.
"An antivirus isn't really what he's looking for right now, you see. So, he'd rather not to go with your software."
The words came out like knives out of Damien's mouth who deliberately avoided his best friend's gaze.
He couldn't look at Nick in the eyes after literally shattering his dream.
He just couldn't.
If Nick was going to cry, which Damien doubted he would, he still didn’t want to take a chance and see those tears in his eyes.
Nor disappointment, failure, humiliation.
Damien shifted his head to a bowing position, nervously anticipating a reaction from Nick.It didn't take long to come.
"Oh. Well, he's made up his mind. There's nothing I can do about it, I guess," Nick said, his voice hesitant.
The emotion in Nick's tone was hard to decipher and Damien was unable to tell what feeling exactly was going through his best friend right now.
He looked up and met Nick's distressed and disappointed look.
"I'm glad you're the one who told me, Dam. I think if it was someone else, I wouldn't have taken it as well," Nick said with a thin melancholy smile.
These words tore Damien's inside apart and he wanted to run away from the office like a wimp so he wouldn't endure this torture for another second.
All he could do, however, was stare at Nick as he tried stifling the guilt and distressed he felt so they wouldn't mix with the expression on his face.
Damien couldn't believe he had really done it.
That he finally told Nick the truth, that he was the one who had shattered his best friend's dream.
It was a nightmare becoming reality.
What Damien was feeling right now was eating him from the inside.
How could he have believed that it wouldn't be as bad and it wouldn't hurt as much?
He had been exceptionally wrong because Damien felt as if he was getting constantly kicked on the balls right now.
Nabokov had left him, he should have gone straight to home and left Nabokov or whoever to be the ones to deliver the news to Nick, even if Nick preferred that it was Damien who was made the deliver of bad news.
Damien wouldn't have been undergoing this torture if he had simply acted like an asshole of a friend by getting the hell out of the building after his heated exchange with Nabokov.
"I need to send a text to Mama," Nick said, then turned and walked to his office where he went to get his phone lying on his desk.
Damien remained frozen for a moment, confused and lost.
He had the impression that everything was happening far too suddenly and that he didn't have time to think.
He was deeply immersed in his feelings and thoughts about Nick, that he forgot for a moment when he was.
"Why?" Damien questioned his best friend, advancing slowly towards him, gradually regaining awareness of what was happening.
Nick leaned on the front of his desk, phone in hand.
"She planning to organize a barbecue to celebrate the success of my first project with the company," Nick said.
Nick came from a wealthy Italian family of four kids who owned an engineering company.
There was no doubt in Damien's mind that Nick's mother, Maria, planned to prepare the barbecue of the century to celebrate the success of his son's career.
"Since the software has been rejected, I'm gonna have yo let her know," Nick added, the emotion in his voice still hard to decipher.
Was it possible to die from excessive guilt, because Damien didn't want to die?
Not now anyway.
All he could do was watch Nick taping on his phone, allowing the guilt take over his whole body.
Though Nick seemed to take the news well, Damien wasn't fooled, however.
He knew his best friend all too well to see that he was trying to stay strong despite the situation.
One of the first indications was that Nick avoided his gaze.
Damien had this feeling of having failed his best friend and letting him down, especially since Nick had asked for his help and that in the end, it had been in vain.

The World (XXI)
Tumblr media
Astrological Association – Saturn – Planet of Lessons, Teaching and Responsibilities
And so we come to the final card of the Major Arcana and the last card of the Tarot Deck. It has been a tough, long journey through the Major Arcana and one would feel almost exhausted for the figure in Card XXI.
In fact,  exhausted is the last thing she looks as she appears vibrant, energised and happy. In the World Card we experience the culmination of The Fool’s Journey. The World is where The Fool has arrived at after experiencing all that life had either given or thrown at him. The Fool has survived the Journey and is sure to be feeling proud as punch with himself.
The Fool has taken the knocks and accepted them for just what they were, knocks, sent to test his inner-strength and resourcefulness. He has taken the time to stand still and appreciate his many blessings in life and what is of true value to him. He has taken responsibility for his life and through self-examination has become aware of imbalances and his shadow-side. He has heeded the advice of wise ones and learned to detach himself from the  negative influences of others. Instead of giving up and falling to pieces when times were hard, he picked himself up, dusted himself down and moved forward with the understanding that whatever didn’t break him would ultimately strengthen him.
The figure in The World Card, (representing The Mature Fool) has done just that and has earned her place on The Winners Podium.  Success is now hers. Because she learned the Vital Lessons of Life along the way and achieved the ultimate challenge of finding a balance of the Four Elements, the success she has earned will be long-term. She now knows the vital ingredients needed to survive. She learned all this not from a book but from the direct experience of living.  She has participated in life by being involved, proactive, eager, fearless and curious.  She has kept her mind open to more than one way of approaching every situation she encountered.  She learned from others and her environment but arrived at her own conclusions rather than just follow the mob.  She became self-sufficient and responsible.  She could have gone through life as a passenger, looking out the window at everyone else living their lives, wishing and dreaming that she could have what they had but she chose to get up and go get it herself. She could have let herself be controlled by others and lived her life according to their rules, mindsets and beliefs but she had her own plans and own ideas. We must now stand and congratulate  The Figure in The World Card, for in completing her Journey and ascending the Winner’s Podium, she has in fact graduated from The School Of Life.
In The World Card, a woman stands in the centre of a large Laurel Wreath. The woman is naked except for a flowing sash which swirls around her body.  She holds two wands loosely in her hands. The woman appears to be in motion, as if in dance. The sky is clear blue in the background and in each corner we find the Four Symbolic Figures from The Wheel of Fortune. These Figures represent the Four Elements; Air, Water, Earth and Fire. In The Wheel of Fortune, these Figures were depicted in black and white.  In The World card they are depicted in colour suggesting that The Woman (or Fool) has learned the Lessons of each Elemental approach to life and has managed to incorporate them into her life. She is now in perfect balance and harmony and is ruled not by any one in particular.  The Woman understands that to find fulfillment, and to make each Element work for her in her life, they must learn to live together equally. It is only then that she has access to the best that each Element has to offer her.  Each Element has special gifts and each Element can beautifully complement each other.  By co-operating and complementing each other they negate any excesses that may threaten to disturb her equilibrium. By applying the Approach and Lessons of each Element in moderation to her journey in life, she has achieved her Goal of Lasting Success.
She now has access to the secrets of the Universe and is privy to the wisdom contained in The High Priestess’s Torah. The clouds around the Four Elements are representations of Spirit. This reminds The Woman of her spiritual connection to everything in the Universe and beyond.  She is not alone in her triumph for there is no success for one without success for all.  She is aware of her contributions to the Pool of The Collective Unconscious. She is aware that as a result of all the trials and triumphs throughout her journey others may now benefit from her vast experience. She has a clear understanding of her place  in the Universe. She fully understands who she is and how life works.
The Laurel Wreath symbolises her success and achievements. Notice the figure of eight ribbons at the top and bottom of the wreath. These infinity symbols suggest an awareness that there is no beginning or end, and that like The World itself, life is continuously moving and rotating. This leads to her understanding that although this particular journey may be over for her right now, more will come to follow. Life is constantly renewing itself and the Universe will not permit stagnation for that will lead to decay. The apparent movement of The Woman’s body within the Laurel Wreath suggests this very understanding.  She may have achieved her goals, found fulfillment and inner-happiness but there are many more goals to achieve and other mountains to climb. If she were to stand still she would die and for her death is not an option.  She only believes in rebirth and renewal.  Death is but an illusion.
She holds her Wands loosely which is very symbolic.  In order for her to make Magic and access the energy from these Wands, it is not the ritual itself or the Power contained within the Wands that create results. The Magic lies in the Intention behind the Ritual. She is Mistress and High Priestess of her Own World and needs no Magical Tools to achieve her aims for the Power and Magic lie within her as she happily continues The Dance of Life.
The World card brings long-term success and great inner-happiness. It offers a wonderful sense of personal fulfillment and achievement.  It also brings a realisation that although success can come and go throughout life, true lasting, longterm success can only be found within.  When we are happy with who we are and believe in our abilities and strengths we can survive anything. The World Card guarantees success in both your inner and outer world. True happiness first comes from within.
MEANING
When The World appears in a reading it augurs well for lasting success. If The World appears in the Answer Position in a reading it is a very positive card, so it is a ‘yes’. It can signal you finally achieving your goals.  All that you have strived for, all that have dreamed of is now yours and you can feel damn proud of yourself. However, now that you have achieved success, you must not stop for there is so much more to strive for.  This is just the beginning and there are many more wonderful journines ahead of you.
There may be the successful completion of a project or the successful outcome of a situation.  The World reminds you it is only by finding inner-balance and harmony that success will be yours.   Inner-happiness and a healthy self-image accompany The World Card in a reading. The Woman in The World card looks relaxed and content with her body and her nakedness.  She is comfortable in her own skin as she knows that beauty comes from within. Success is ongoing as the figure in the card is in constant motion.
The World often appears in a reading to symbolise the receiving of an award, promotion or accolade.  It is for certain that you are the centre of attention and praise at the moment. 3 Truths about Setting Goals as a Happy Go Lucky Person
I was never the Type A kind of person who had their whole lives planned out for themselves; the ones who wrote their step-by-step plans to either go to a prestigious college; or to start up their own business; or become a full time volunteer and activist, advocating their beliefs and proactively changing the world. I never had that heavy kind of calling.
Being drawn to art at a young age, then forced to study a course in college that was deemed more "practical" than Fine Arts; my parents probably thought I had to take that choice because I seemed "lost" and "needed guidance". Ever since then, I let go of big decision making, and just let things flow. (Spoiler alert, that's when my depression unconsciously started)
Fast forward to years later, working at a career while daily questioning my purpose in life and resenting over and over why was I in this current situation--it seems like I've had enough. Seriously.
I tried therapy, and one of the few assignments that my therapist had given me was to list down some goals that I wanted to achieve one, five and ten years from now. And that scared the hell out of me. I'm already having a hard time thinking about what food I'll have the next day, what more my goals in the next ten years?!
By this time, its plain obvious that I let the wind take me where it wants to go. I never decided to interfere with it because I didn't like disappointments.
Here are a few things that I learned about setting goals as a happy go lucky person:
1. Setting goals does not equate to writing the end goal, but setting the steps to get there as well.
I remember writing down one goal of starting a plant business. And I started without much of a thought, purchased lots of plants, posted on Instagram, told myself that I'd only start selling when I get 500 followers (which never materialized probably thanks to the algorithm), then gave up when I realized that I wasn't getting anywhere near that number, eventually gave up, and is now stuck with pest infested plants that's hard to get rid of.
Being the non-planner type of person that I was, I failed to equate the extra effort it takes to actually manage a business. Especially when you have no background in it. I didn't take in the length of time it would take to gain followers, the number of daily postings, the truth about algorithms, and the lost money that I invested out of my whim dream. I only thought of the end goal, and not the amoutn of work that it took to get there.
2. Habit building (a.k.a. Discipline and consistency) is needed.
I easily give up when I think that I'm not good on the first try of something new and creative. I ventured into the art world ages ago, and thought about becoming a great and famous Instagram artist by drawing anime scenes or whatever fancies ny eyes. Just because I got a few followers, I did not bother to study and improve my art style. I got lazy, and instead of practicing everyday, I relied heavily on what other people would like to see. I felt that my art was dull, repetitive.
In order to achieve something, starting with tiny habits such as sketching for 10 minutes would be better than not sketching for weeks. Or maybe if I wanted to get better at cardio, I can do 10 minute walks every day, instead of a full 30 minute run in one day.
3. I have the power to change my course, where I want, and when I want.
As someone who has low self esteem, I let the wind take me where it wants me to be. And now I'm at a job that I really don't pour my entire self in, always questioning and thinking about doing anything else other than that; all because it pays me and feeds me well.
I'm not powerless as I think I am, and being an adult, I can redirect myself into a life that I genuinely look forward to living in everyday. And while society thinks that at certain ages you have to achieve this and that, I still have the power to try and reinvent myself (all in good ways of course).
While it takes a lot of practice, the results, regardless of whether I achieve my goals or not, will eventually pay off.

I'll be damned if honeymoon avenue isn't one of the most emotionally resonant and awesome songs that i've ever
if i'm being really honest, it bothers me how much i think about whether arielle will soon grow, at all, or if she would really actually miss me. she says she would. feels like she processed me earlier in the year. but that eerie unvalidated vibe of almost being closer than ever, recently. and then phwam, the indirect friends only messaging.
I will truly miss her. Best end now, it's getting leaky and aimless over here. What else is there to do with those feelings of missing them? Of loss. Or longing. They have that feeling of being dear, and at the same time seem to be in the way of how you would prefer to think and feel. We try to light a single candle rather than cursing the vast darkness. I'd be lying if I said my pain didn't still yearn to curse the darkness. Some things just require more time. Soon enough I will need, and perhaps be able to continue proactively processing through things. Understanding that what I want is ahead and not behind me. The extreme sense of loss makes it harder to see and to remember.
What wouldn't I give to be able to change the way things are. Is that a purely indulgent, foolish space, now? I already tried everything I knew. It's not for me to control. She won't give up anything of the ghost. It's such a stark and heartbreaking way to be treated. She may not mean it, but she doesn't much seem to mean to want to not be it, either.
Doesn't seem to care that someone is willing and wanting to understand, to accept and to work with her limitations.
And always the most crushing of all
Saying she isn't into me like that and never will be
gulp, and sigh
it's important to remember something other than feeling unappreciated, and hurt. i want to look at these experiences and interpretations and some day really fluidly know what's going on with these kinds of dynamics, and know my worth in a way that doesn't get forgotten in attachment. why am i so attached to someone so ..
so unattached to me
so lowly prioritizing towards
so unvaluing of
so unmotivated by
and after witnessing me for my flaws and our struggles
unattracted to me
it's so god damn heavy. so heavy.
but i just want to sit with it, until i can come to terms with it. more fully. all of this. i think it might be good to adopt a one day at a time framing and reminder from here forward. i'm going to need to give myself the space to feel the things i feel. always the ebb and flow, with the pace you also want to push. something, transcendental, about surrendering in what you cannot control, and when so far as you can control again, to give the best of yourself to creating the best that you can, from here
have you ever spent your life, dreaming about a best that is ever yet to come
i think i do that less now than ever, at least. but there's that tension between manifesting, and graciously accepting what is.
you just gotta keep going, through every weird new turn, and adversity
it's really scary to think about how much more difficult this would have become had she and i become much closer than actually took place
yet had that happened i truly believe our communication and early adaptations would have really opened those doors for us
there's nothing you can do when you're just not it to someone
i just want to hide under that rock and cry so hard
sometimes that's the only thing there is in all of this
damn it

How to dress your daughter comfortably for summer camp
With the school getting over and kids having nothing much to do, summer camps are a great way to keep your kids entertained and proactive throughout this season. But for your kid to have fun, it is important that she dresses right. Now you might wonder how dressing right is related to your child having the time of your life.
Now, there’s a simple answer for that and that is – comfort. If your daughter is not dressed up in comfortable clothes, her movements will be restricted and hence she won’t feel relaxed enough to have fun. And yes. Fun does require one’s mind to be relaxed and not preoccupied anywhere else.
This is why what kinds of clothes you send along with your daughter for her camp will play a crucial role in her enjoyment of the camp. Instead of packing jeans or any thick material pants, leggings for girls is a much preferred choice to stick to. They are usually skin fit and take the shape of the body, leaving enough room for kids to be flexible and comfortable.
Vests and tank tops are also a great option, especially during the summers. The heat may cause rashes and burning sensations but vests and tank tops are quite comfortable and conveniently help avoid such issues.
Another thing to keep in mind while packing clothes is to ensure that they are light in colour, preferably pastel shades as dark colour clothes like black, maroon, etc absorb more heat, which will, in turn, hamper your child’s fun at a summer camp.
Free-flowing outfits like skirts or unicorn dress for girls is another great option that can help your kids stay undistracted while enjoying the camp. These dresses fit freely over the body, leaving the body enough space to easily breathe through.
Such outfits are not just comfortable but also look quite smart on the kids. It’s a trendy way to keep them comfy all throughout the year, but especially in summer.
Last but not least crucial point to be noted is the inner wears you send with them. The baby underwear in india has much evolved and is not restricted to a traditional type. You can choose between briefs to boxers, even for baby girls. Also always ensure you send an extra pair of underwear for your babies so that they don’t have to face any embarrassment later on.
Whether you’re a fully grown adult or a kid, comfort and style should always go hand in hand. When separated, the outcome is never really that fruitful. Unless you are dressed comfortably, you will always be distracted and restricted by the clothes you wear. They might make you feel rigid and sometimes even cause irritations like rashes and other skin infections.
Make sure the clothes are 100 percent cotton, especially during summer. When purchasing clothes for kids, be especially mindful of the quality and washing instructions. The dye should not wear off due to sweat or plain water. The fit shouldn’t be too tight or too loose either.
Keeping all this in mind will definitely make sure your daughter’s clothes won’t be a hindrance to her fun at the summer camp.
