-The people who mutated them combined turtle eggs with bird DNA(and more, but I’m not there yet). The goal was for them to have more speed, flexibility or maybe more bird-like qualities but I haven’t thought that out much. As of now, it just affects their coloring! And Splinter named them by pointing at birds he liked. He was sleepy.

Been following you for a very long time (I think since the third chapter of your first fic donus rinus) and I've always wondered what your plans are when you finish writing all season 1 installments?

I mean I know you can write more but what do you plan on doing between the end (of season 1) and the start in about 1-2 years of season 2?

Do you want to write the dance of dragons on your own or wait until season 2 drops?

That's just something that's been on my mind for a few months hahaha

To be honest, I'm probably going to wait until season 2 drops - I'm not a very experienced writer and I like having something to base my shit off of, lol. Plus, I want to be sure that reading the fic will remain cohesive thematically as we progress through seasons; that is, season 2 content in ToE will feel similar to canon showverse, if not map out the exact same way. I like to think I've kept a lot of the vibes of the show in my fic, even if the plot is different. In the meantime, I'd like to try tackling some different, maybe smaller series or oneshots; I'd also like to try my hand at writing for other characters, though I'll admit I've gotten damn comfy with Daemon.
