Okay, so I had this idea for an AU where Coco ends up in Earthland, because I like her vibes and I wanna put her in situations.

Basically, the day Wendy finds Carla's egg (Which I'm gonna say is a couple days after it and the other Exceed eggs were sent to Earthland), Roubaul takes her back where she found it to make sure it didn't fall out of a nest or something. Of course, they don't find anything, but on the way back to the guild, they hear someone crying and find Coco hanging from a tree branch.

I'm not completely sure how she ends up there? She doesn't have any magic for Anima to mess with and I don't think we ever find out just how Porlyusica winds up on Earthland. Either way, once she calms down and tells them what happens, Roubaul regretfully tells her that he doesn't know how to send her back or if it's even possible, but she's welcome to stay with them in the mean time.

And just like that, Cait Shelter has another living member.

At some point, I could see Roubaul setting her up with a similar kind of Athletic Magic to her Earthland counterpart's, probably with the caveat that she can't use it without supervision until she gets the hang of it. Similarly to how I imagine Mystogan's staves working, the lacrima in Coco's shoes draw and storing magic from the air around her instead of her body. Of course, even with supervision, she'd still get into scrapes. But hey! At least Wendy gets more chances to practice her healing magic.

I'm trying to figure out how to describe her dynamic with Wendy and Carla in detail, but it's not coming out the way I want it to, so I might go in depth in a different post. But off the top of my head, Coco and Wendy are thick as thieves, but Carla kept Coco at arms length for a while after she first hatched, especially when Edolas is mentioned.

Anyways, Wendy and everybody else are a little more informed going into Edolas. Unfortunately, their info came from someone who hasn't been there since she was five, so it isn't completely accurate. I imagine Coco wouldn't know exactly how Anima worked when she was little, so seeing Magnolia get sucked up would be just as much a surprise for her as it is for everybody else. And throughout the arc, she has to deal with he fact that Edolas is a lot more different than she remembers.

FT x TWST Housewardens

Ever since I realized (halfway through my other batch of drawings) that Housewardens specifically get to design their own uniforms, I've been wanting to a new batch with them because I get to partially customize the uniforms based on what I think the character would do and I think that's neat.

Also featuring little blurbs of story content stuff because this AU is starting to live in my brain. (Help there's so much in there but it's so fun.)

So over the past month and a half, I've been using @magicalpouchofmagic's expression meme for practice on drawing various Fairy Tail characters. And eventually completed the entire thing and decided to compile every one of them. This is without a doubt my biggest drawing project, and I feel accomplished.

Some tell a story, some are paired with other expressions, some are a challenge designed to draw a character with an expression they might not fit with. Long story short, all sorts of things here.

Headcanons for Noah and Jack from ROR:JTR:CF

Noah and Jack get taken to the world of Fairy tail and meet their single dad Fairy tail (the anime/manga) au counterparts and their respective teenage daughters. Noah and Jacks daughters are part of the saber tooth guild and Noah’s daughter has a crush on Rufus Lore but is way too shy to tell Rufus about it. Jacks daughter has a crush on Rouge. Noah’s daughters specialty is animal soul magic and shadow magic While Jacks daughters specialty is ice magic and healing magic. I’ll let you decide what magics Noah and Jack specialize in if any.

-Jack and Noah looked up, completely confused at the guild hall they now found themselves in front of, after somehow waking up in this unknown area after falling off a bridge together, running from the police.

-This new world was so…strange, there were talking cat like creatures, as one of them, Happy, had been the one to find them wandering around Magnolia Town, greeting them both happily like he knew them, and there was magic everywhere.

-After Happy panicked, seeing that Jack and Noah didn’t recognize him, he grabbed their hands and dragged them behind him, heading towards the Fairy Tail guild hall, thinking something had happened to the two of them.

-Entering the building, seeing so many people there, many were quickly doing double takes and Jack quickly saw why, standing across from them, was another pair, another Jack and Noah, with two teenage girls sitting beside them, their daughters.

-Everyone was quickly screaming, people pointing at their pair, wondering why there was two of each Jack and Noah.

-Mirajane, who was the easiest to calm down, was able to make sure that this new Jack and Noah weren’t just using illusion magic, coming over to introduce herself and both bowed at the waist, pecking the back of each of her hands like gentlemen.

-As the Fairy Tail Jack and Noah approached, Lucy, who was pondering nearby, piped up, “Is this like Edolas?”

-Annie, Jack’s daughter, popped up from behind her papa, “Whoa- I have two dads now?” while River, Noah’s daughter, “Me too! This is wild!”

-Jack and Noah were stunned to see that their counterparts had children, but soon everyone was stunned, hearing their tale about what brought them to this world. This wasn’t like Edolas- this was something else. They really came from another world.

-Despite the odd situation, Jack and Noah were welcomed into Fairy Tail, which many explained was like a giant family, it felt odd for the two of them- they never felt so accepted so quickly by others that weren’t each other.

-Annie and River were quick to warm up to them as well, loving the idea of having two dads, finding it unique and fun, and their biological fathers didn’t mind sharing their daughters, so long as they didn’t hurt them, which they would never do.

-Those in Fairy Tail were surprised that they didn’t have magic- yes their had their own abilities and talents to be able to fight others, like Jack with his synesthesia- but no magic and were stunned to learn that there was no magic in their world, only slight of hand type magic.

-Jack’s combat skills were breathtaking, and Noah was right there with him, and their counterparts were impressed, showing off their own magic during a sparring match, Jack using illusion magic that made him invisible, and Noah with shadow-based magic, able to melt into shadows with ease.

-Annie and River both used their own impressive magic, Annie using ice and healing magic, and River was able to transform herself into a jaguar and used shadow magic just like her papa. However, they were surprised to learn that the two girls weren’t part of Fairy Tail, they were part of Saber Tooth, but visited their father’s regularly.

-Jack found Annie and River fretting about something, mentioning it to Noah, and the two approached their adopted daughters, asking if they were alright.

-Turns out that there were two young men, Rufus and Rouge, who were also a part of Saber Tooth, that the girls had crushes on, Annie liked Rufus and River like Rouge, but both were rather shy about telling them about their feelings.

-Noah was surprised, hyping the girls up, “You both are so confident and powerful- we’ve seen you in combat facing off against way strong opponents with no fear- telling someone your feelings should be simple.”

-Jack was twirling one of his knives around his fingers, subtly threatening the two boys, feeling protective over his adopted daughter and niece, “Hmm- of yes I agree.”

-The girls were quickly howling with laughter, seeing that they were so like their own fathers, willing to not only offer advice but to threaten as well, it made them feel better.

-Noah and Jack joined Fairy Tail, partnering with their counterparts, which made opponents and enemies quite confused, seeing two of each of them, but it made their missions much simpler and they helped spread the rumors that it was all illusion magic, to throw others off.

-While it wasn’t the world they were used to- Noah and Jack found their place in this new world, in Fairy Tail.

Thinking of an Edolas AU where Lisanna couldnt handle the universe differences with her siblings and the guild, and, after growing deeply homesick and frustrated by the unfamiliarity, she leaves Edo FT to become a part of the Royal Kingdom, because they control Anima and can send her home.

They don't send her home. They see a useful pawn and ask her to work for it.

Lisanna ends up falling too deep into their corruption, because she thought she was willing to do anything she can to go home. She causes the deaths of several FT members and realizes she no longer has a right to go back to them.

She doesn't go home.

Then, when Magnolia is sucked up by the Anima and she finds Natsu on the opposing side...

...it's much easier to act like a stranger and fight against them. She knows she can't win against them but she thinks this is appropriate. This is karma, because now that she genuinely has a chance to go home, she no longer deserves to be saved. And Natsu and crew dont notice, because Erza's also an enemy, so, fair enough. Maybe Happy would be the one this time to tell her not to use the face of his beloved friend to do such cruel things.

Lisanna's heart would break at those words. But she would believe she deserves it and worse.

It's not until she's unwillingly thrown to the other side, back to Earthland, that she finally breaks down and the members of FT, and the audience, finally learn the truth.

Uncertain what you mean by this ask.

Because the way Noctis!Jellal works is that the idea is he was that canonJellal always Noctis in a last life, just in *this*, circumstances happened a bit differently and he ended up awakening those memories.

So I don't know what you mean by EdolasJellal being "canon" Jellal unless you mean in like- personality similarity, since Edolas Jellal is not Noctis in a past life. *shrugs*.

Fairy Tail AUs

I did one a couple of these for Transformers a while back and I figured it might be fun to do again.

Slayer Swap AU - In which the various dragon, god, and devil slayers follow slightly different paths in life and end up in each others guilds.

Dragon Swap AU - In which the Dragon Slayers are raised by each others dragons instead of their own, leading to five much different people in the present day.

Changeling AU - In which everything doesn't go back to normal after the titular body swapping episode, forcing everyone to focus up and train and get used to their new bodies as best as they can. Whether they're strong enough to endure Phantom's attack remains to be seen.

Renegade Guild AU - In which Fairy Tail is forcibly disbanded alongside Phantom Lord in the aftermath of their battle. Never one to bow to the council's wishes, Fairy Tail reforms as the newest dark guild. Luckily for the council, the illegal guild has decided to take its frustrations out on the other dark guilds instead of striking back.

Phantom Lucy AU - In which Lucy chooses to join Phantom Lord instead of Fairy Tail. Unfortunately, she quickly finds that it isn't what she had hoped it to be, especially once Jude comes knocking...

Erza in Edolas AU - In which Anima targets the Tower of Heaven while it's exploding, bringing both it and Erza to Edolas. Now, trapped in this strange new world without her magic or friends, Erza searches for a way home as she fights against the royal army alongside Lisanna and a distrusting Fairy Tail.

Hi! I just binge read your How To Raise Your Dragon Slayers AU and I need to inform you that I have accepted it as my new canon. I like that you make sure actions and events have consequences and things don't just happen in a vacuum. The worldbuilding you are doing is just something and my inner nerd is just thrilled that the magic makes sense. Your characterizations are also fantastic and you can easily believe that a character would have turned out this particular way if things went differently.

But anyway, I'm rambling...

I know it's still some time away but I can't wait for your Edolas Arc! This surprised me because, I'll be honest, it's very much not my favorite. Mashima wasted a fantastic opportunity for some character development and foreshadowing, in my oppinion. On that note, some questions:

Does obscura work in Edolas? Does etherious? As one is the opposite of ether and the other vibrates in a frequency between the two, so to speak. That would be great, just to have a scene where some poor sod goes "You can't use your magic here! You're useless!" and Natsu and Mira go "Oh no! What a tragedy!" and wreck them.

I never understood why some member of Fairy Tail didn't just grab Mystogan like a baby koala and drag him home with them. It's obvious he didn't want to be there and he already made a life for himself in Earthland. Moreso in HTRYDS. He actually interacts with other people, however little, and even has friends and a twin! They would definitely miss him.

On that note, I dearly want Jellal and Myst to pull a Parent Trap sort of thing and pretend to be the other. Or at least have someone yell out his old name to get Mystogan's attention and Eathland Jellal answers because Myst hasn't answered to that name in years.

Will Acno be there? How will Edolas mess with a being of pure ether? That would be interesting to explore.

Will Natsu talk with Edolas Natsu about their respective brothers? After the Zeref reveal I was always mad they didn't include at least one scene where Edolas Natsu asks Earthland Natsu how his brother is or at least have a board with deceased/ex-members of the guild with Zeref on it in the background or something... It would have been great foreshadowing.

Will we get some Porlyuska backstory? I always wondered how she ended up in Earthland.

Not really Edolas Arc related but after my latest reread it's been bugging me. Is Zeref possessed by Anksheram? The Larcade POV with the red eyes sorta hinted at it, what with Zeref having memory lapses and the weird dark amusement during the whole deal. And the whole question of how he new some cultists were trying to resurrect Apopis on a different continent in the first place. Seun *did* know about it when he was finally kicked out of Rogue. And Loke said that that was one of the ways to survive for a god. Your Author's Note on chapter 23 of Demon Tails sorta did too with the "when I talked about 'fighting gods' in the series summary, I was dead-on serious" part. And there was a comment somewhere that you hoped that the series will end with fighting Anksheram. (Or was it someone else and I'm just mixing things up? Anyway)

I'm so glad you've been enjoying HTRYDS! And yes! Edolas arc! No lie I'm pretty excited for that one too because I get to go off the rails and make everything better and worse simultaneously lmao. Gonna be a big cast but also that's because it's going to be a whole family endeavor and I am h y p e d.

As for the magic, this isn't a spoiler for the arc or anything but it's not that Edolas is opposite to Earthland. It's functionally the same thing, except, unstable and also to the left. Imagine the same chart, except somebody corrupted the image and then slid it to the side so it looks like an overlap but it's not actually an overlap. Hence the magic being exceedingly harder to grasp in Edolas than in Earthland, though not impossible. And why certain medication and items can jumpstart that grabbing process and let Earthland mages use their magic. Gonna suck for some of them though. Like Acno lmao. Luckily he doesn't need magic to be a tank. Oh and obscura is a similar principle—exists just fine but to the left. Etherious is the fun one because it's already the directionless filler stuff so actually that one is nearly the same. (I've got a reason for this magic system and it's wild but idc I had a lot of fun with my worldbuilding and I wanted Edolas and its insanity to make a modicum of sense and I think I've got it.)

To that note yes yes a thousand yesses Porlyusica is getting backstory. I am so ready for it. Soooo so ready.

And yes!! The foreshadowing! That's what I've been saying! Edolas had a lot of opportunity to account for the fact that Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Sting, and Rogue were from four hundred years ago and shouldn't exist in a modern parallel unless there were modern interferences but nahhhhh that was brushed to the side. Same with family, like with Zeref!

Speaking of family yeah no Mystogan got robbed. Luckily I love Mystogan a lot and I ain't gonna do him dirty. (Also this arc will be ample opportunity for Mystogan and Jellal getting to work together in fic and I'm also super hyped for that.) But yeah no self-sacrificial tendencies do run strong in FT but the theme is that somebody else stops them so I'm making sure this theme stays intact XD

Also I've hinted at this enough so I don't think it's much of a spoiler but yes we are going to fist-fight Ankhseram. She's lurking around Zeref but there shall come a day, a finale-shaped day, where we gonna fist-fight her. Because yes I have expressed that I wanted that in canon and I am a simple woman. I know the opportunities I have given myself >:)

Gruvia Fan Content Prompt Idea List

well, some people seemed interested when i said i'd make a post with a list of Gruvia fan content prompts, so I'm making it! I'll warn you, though: I don't really like the way ideas are shared on typical prompt lists so mine might not be to you guys' tastes:

AU where Juvia joined Fairy Tail first and was the one to inspire Gray to join the guild. Some of you might recognize this as a previous post of mine, where the idea is more fleshed out, but I don't mind at all if anyone else takes it as a prompt and uses the idea to write their own story.

Gruvia-centric Stone Age Omake fic. There's tons for Nalu but only one I found that's Gruvia, Learning to Love by starryfairyjedi, which is excellent but the author hasn't finished it quite yet.

Pregnancy fic. ik ik, another unoriginal idea. There are tons of these, but I think that's true for a reason. A scenario where Juvia accidentally gets pregnant forces Gray to commit in a way he avoids throughout the series. Plus also that guy just has a ton of untapped worry-wort dad potential. It's tragic, really.

Forced to live together. Who doesn't love these kinds of fics? As for why Gray and Juvia have to live together...maybe Fairy Hills got destroyed during Alvarez or by another Dark Guild, and when Gajeel offered to let Juvia stay with him, Gray stepped in to offer up his own place in a moment of irrational jealousy. There's a lot of potential for humor with Juvia's various Gray paraphernalia, plus it would be a chance for them to address feelings about their previous cohabitation.

Playing off the last one: AU where Juvia's an informant targeted by the mafia and Gray is the FBI agent tasked with protecting her. Therefore, they are forced to live together in a safe house.

Grease-esque AU. Juvia could be one of those rollerskating waitresses and Gray and Natsu could be race car drivers/rivals. Sides of other pairings would work well with this one, like if Lucy and Erza were also waitresses.

Juvia meets Edo-Greige somehow. This would be so cute! How would she wind up meeting him? Well...i don't know, lol. It'd be interesting if she wound up in Edolas accidentally and Gray had to go rescue her. In the meantime, she could interact with Edo Gray and Juvia, also...that's a moment we never really got to see in the series.

Juvia and Lyon wind up paired for a mission and Gray follows them out of jealousy.

Assassin AU where Gray's the assassin and Juvia's the target. Good potential for a steamy fight scene and ultimate cuteness when Gray refuses to kill her.

Pirate and Mermaid AU. a lot of fics have elements of this dynamic but i don't think i've seen one that's really Gruvia-centric and about the love story. would make a great oneshot or short multichapter fic imo.

Juvia's a nymph who cares all alone for her forest since the other nymphs died, until one day, an Ice Demon Slayer, injured in battle, drifts into her forest via river on a slab of wood. The forest urges her to kill him, but Juvia is unable to kill the first man she's ever seen. While she nurses him back to health, they fall in love. Lots of potential for romance/humor with the whole "Juvia's never been around people, especially men, and doesn't get personal space" thing, a bit like the Stone Age Omake idea.

MHA/BNHA AU where they meet as heroes-in-training or young pro heroes in the field.

Fake Dating. Kind of a sucker for these, ngl. Would be even better (in my personal opinion) if it was an AU so this was how they met.

UFC/MMA AU. Few different potential ideas with this one. Could be Juvia falling in love with Gray from the audience while he fights Natsu, a mixed-gender version of the UFC where Gray and Juvia fight each other, or Gray gets a crush from the audience watching Juvia fight someone (I'd personally love to read this one).

Gray and Juvia meet as kids. Would be really cute if little Gray comforted Juvia about her rain.

Robin Hood AU. The Fairy Tail ethos goes well with Robin Hood's. You could have it where Juvia serves as a knight for King John (/Jose?) but abandons the kingdom for Robin Hood's cause when she meets Gray.

If I think of more, I'll add to this list or maybe make another one! Feel free to use any of these/apply them to any ship. I'd love if you lmk you used one of them or tagged me or whatever, but if you're not comfortable with that you don't have to. I may use my own prompts one day, too, especially the Stone Age Omake ones, the nymph one, and the Edo Greige one. I'm totally fine with us having written the same idea if you are.
