Sad Eddie Gluskin Headcanons:
He looks exactly like his father. From his face, body type/build to even his voice. The only thing he got from his mother were her blue eyes.
He doesn't just look like his father, he ACTS like him. He may not realize it but the misogynistic slurs, fake charming personality and especially the possessive behavior nearly makes him an exact copy of his father. Nearly.
Early on in his life, he promised, I mean desperately promised to himself he wouldn't be like his father or uncle in any way possible and start a family of his own where he'd never treat his wife or their children the same way.
Little did he know as he grew up, the effects of the abuse and the term, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree" would apply to him.
He tried, he really tried but no matter what he did, no matter how many medications he took, he ended up being the very monsters who tainted him. The pain and rage just wouldn't go away.
Even through all the blood and gore, the countless "darlings" he slaughtered, he knows in the very back of his chaotic mind how much of a monster he'd become. The small sane part of him screaming for him to stop, for him to realize he's causing more pain to others than what was brought to him as a child.
In the end, it's too late. He's going to hell and there's nothing he could do but accept the endless torture of the afterlife.
Some miserable headcanons of my baby I thought of while writing What Could've Been Part 2.

Sad Eddie Gluskin Headcanons (Part 2)
His mother never really cared about him. She only married his father for money and she regularly cheated, drank and smoked.
His tendency to call women "darling" stemed from his mother calling everyone, including him and his father, that.
All the women he dated/murdered resembled his mother in some form or another (fair skin, black hair, sharp nose, mostly blue eyes, elegant/graceful in the way they carried themselves, etc.)
He tried to enlist in the army, but due to a health condition (most likely mental), he was denied.
He did not have any friends. AT ALL. Not even a pet.
He feels extreme jealousy whenever he sees husbands holding their wives by the arm or fathers playing with their children. Especially if it's a father holding a baby in his arms.
However, despite all that, he loved children, he really did. He becomes an entirely different person around them (friendlier, more patient, childish) and could've easily became an elementary teacher if his passion for sewing didn't get in the way.
Sometimes he wonders what holding a baby might be like. Would they squirm in his arms? Would they cry? Would they look at him with their beady little eyes and smile at him?
There was a time when he prayed to God to give him the opportunity to be a husband, father and lover. Stating that that's all he ever wants in his life. To be happy.
My gosh I already drew a cover art for What Could've Been but I haven't even finished chapter 2 ;-; Bruh the last 2 headcanons got me like 馃槶 Y'all better have H虏O in your eyes after this.
