I’ve always been the new kid. Always been the outsider until I fit in long enough for people to catch on and adapt to my vibe. Never knew that being weird and different was an advantage because everywhere I went, most people were used to the ways of their local area. Having moved almost 50 times as a youth shaped and molded me and made me adaptable. Only a few years or so for 30, I finally am understanding my value as a leader and someone who offers something different. I spent all my teens and early 20s subconsciously chasing acceptance just to realize years later that EYE have years and years of experiences people will never get the ability or privilege to understand. These experiences are the highs AND the lows as I have seen both and now have a wider lens of this monstrous society we currently follow, abide and participate in. So what now? I tell you BE DIFFERENT on purpose just to add something new. NEVER STOP LEARNING because a wise person knows they know nothing. SEEK TO UNDERSTAND and judge only yourself as we all make mistakes and the only healing is to try to see it compassionately through the eyes of those who seem flawed. PATIENCE and PERSISTENCE together is the ultimate Yin and Yang.
