This is a bit of a wild theory, so feel free to ignore my ramblings, BUT-

I was talking to @impulsivefanwriter about Logan and his moms, and somehow I only just then realized that there’s the possibility Logan was adopted rather than being biologically related to one or maybe both of his moms (idk one could be trans or something).

ANYWAY, this made me have an absolutely WILD thought after the fact Logan has a unique form of dreamcrafting came up.

So, Logan’s dream form is blue, and that’s also a color he’s just generally heavily associated with, right? And he’s clearly got some kind of gift for dreamcrafting considering he can (limitedly) do it without an hourglass more than even Mateo could pre-Dream Forge.

This is to say: who else do we know with a unique ability for dreamcrafting and who is also associated with the color blue?

LUNIA, BABY!

Am I saying Lunia could be Logan’s biological mother? Possibly.

Just THINK ABOUT IT- it would explain why Logan has this ability nobody else does, and, not to mention it makes sense within the story of Lunia for her to have had a child sometime before her final confrontation with the Nightmare King.

So, what do we know about the timeframe of Lunia’s last battle? Well, it must’ve happened when the current team of Dream Chasers were either very young or not born yet, seeing as Oz is visibly much younger during the fight.

(Here’s a comparison of present day Oz vs him during the final fight for reference)

Anyway, we also know this whole thing started with Migo/the Nightmare King being upset Lunia wasn’t able to spend all her time with him. What if Lunia staying awake through countless nights because of her newborn baby is what drove him over the edge and caused him to attack her?

Anyway, again, this is a VERY wild theory I’m not 100% sure on myself, but it’s a fun thought and could be AU fodder someday, who knows!

Dreamzzz review & Theory

I finished Dreamzzz and I’m so conflicted, I had a gigantic theory that I would like to talk about because the ending of the season was NOT what I was expecting, wasn’t bad but my theory had me in a chokehold - Dreamzzz spoilers ahead.

I liked it, but I didn’t love it, I did however LOVE the creative design that went behind everything,

Turtle taco truck, gator cars, ALBERT, shark boat, lumina’s castle looking like a space shuttle, the weapon on the top of the castle, ALBERT, the fact that Mr.Oswald was wearing the astronaut symbol from the 1984 minifig, Zian’s design, ALBERT’S SOUTHERN ACCENT, Night Hunter sway walk + chain sound effects, Logan’s outfit is cool as ice.

My issues: the story was hard to focus on at times, they had some fill in moments that were too long, also random pauses that went on for too long? They would say something and then stand there longer than necessary, characters had this issue of being great in one episode then problematic in the literal beginning of the next episode. Logan would randomly switch up a lot in the beginning episodes, being nice then a douche bag. Then he was nice for 7 episodes only to be upset he has to help Izzie in the maze so she doesn’t get seriously hurt by the night terrors.

I also did not like Filippo’s face, the stained glass look was an awesome design but the creepy lion face will haunt me.

NOW FOR MY THEORY. LUNIA AND HUNTER ARE ZOEY’S PARENTS.

Here was my fueling for all of this that never happened but still could (season 2 hear me out)

I mean look at this, I can totally see this as a family, also convenient Lunia is missing and so is her mom. Not to mention her dad is also missing, meanwhile the Night Hunter said he couldn’t return to the waking world until he conjured up Lunia’s hourglass.

Also I’d like to point out that her father’s hairpiece looks very similar to Hunter of the angle was right.

I had a gigantic theory that Zoey’s parents were Lunia and Hunter, that the end would be a gigantic reveal, parent vs parent, Nightmare King orchestrating the fight. Zoey would go to find Lunia, find her at her castle weakened or context, Find out that’s her MOM. Then the Nightmare King shows up on the boat to attack the place, Lunia recognizes Night Hunter, says his real name, which makes Zoey go: Mom… DAD?!

And the Nightmare King laughs about it, loving the idea of breaking up a family in the process, Hunter is reluctant and wide eyed as he doesn’t want to fight.

My theory started as her mother was attacked by the nightmare king and while trying to fight him off with Hunter, she was defeated and he was corrupted, forgetting who his family was. Or perhaps he known and just held it over Zoey’s head with the teasing “Kiddo” and helping her at one point by misfiring his arrow. You know, like an evil dad who doesn’t want his daughter to win, but also doesn’t want her hurt.

I think the reason he’s all bundled up isn’t just secrecy for Mateo, but also so Zoey doesn’t recognize him. I think he ran away from home in the waking world too when he turned on Lunia and helped the Nightmare King be free.

But yeah, I still have the theory that they are her parents, at least Hunter is her dad, it would have been such an interesting twist. Oh well, show was cute, I have a character I’m making for it.

DREAMZZZ SPOILERS, WOAH-OH WATCH OUT!!!

I wonder how does Masked Hero had Lunia’s Hourglass? Like the show doesn’t tell how Lunia’s Hourglass was in his hands, especially about his background and manage to use a Dreamkeeper’s Hourglass without putting himself in harm.

So.. I guess this long post is a theory or made-up story idk man, of how Lunia’s Hourglass fallen into Masked Hero’s hands.

Long time ago, the Masked Hero was friends with the last Dreamkeeper, Lunia. Not besties tho. I could assume he’s done good deeds in the Dream World (bc the part of his name ‘Hero’) while keeping his identity hidden and unknown (bc the part of his name ‘Masked’)

Masked Hero was aware Lunia has a bestie, Migo, but also aware that she have to leave him because her work as a Dreamkeeper, especially being the last. Masked Hero knows Migo (not that much, just sees him as Lunia’s bestie) but Migo doesn’t know Masked Hero’s existence (probably because staying in Castle Nocturnia). Until…

Until, when Migo became desperate for companionship, he forced Dream Creatures to be his friend, Masked Hero steps in to stop Migo from forcing other creatures to be his friend and told him to respect their decisions if they choose to not be friends with him.

Well, that made Migo upset (in a mad way) and that’s how he learns about Masked Hero’s existence.

After Migo turned into the Nightmare King and draining kids’ imaginations and yeah, during the Nightmare King’s conquering and corruption, Masked Hero is busy saving out and defending the innocent homes of Dream Creatures and dreamers’ lives, in which he’s too busy to assist Lunia.

In the last battle where Lunia and three brave Dream Chasers were fighting the Nightmare King’s army, Masked Hero was really busy that day and was late when he came over to assist them to defeat the Nightmare King but only to find Lunia tired and drained out because of using her hourglass to lock up her once best friend.

Lunia hands her hourglass to the Masked Hero to keep it safe and only the Masked Hero knows about Lunia’s fate. (I can assume that the last traitorous Dream Chaser is hiding when Masked Hero came, so Night Hunter can free the Nightmare King)

The Masked Hero makes sure to keep off any possible evil hands of Lunia’s Hourglass.

When the Nightmare King is woah-bam! Freed from his cage and to reshape and conquer the Dream World, Masked Hero ran away, keeping the distance of Lunia’s Hourglass and his forces far away as possible. While being hunted by Grimspawns and the Night Hunter.

So my friend came up with a DREAMZzz theory. Not something big and it probably won't be a thing but it's interesting.

So remember the lady in the murky realm? My friend suggested that she could be Hannah )from Mr. Ozwalds old team with Lunia and the night hunter)

The only reason she thought of it like that is because the two characters have similar hair color and the night hunter seems to know the lady. But the theory was fun to think about and my friend wanted to know some other opinions on it. What do you think random by passer?

A season 2 plot idea I had in mind

Lego dreamzzz s1 part 2 spoilers below

While looking for a way to close the rift, the dream chasers find a hidden scroll in castle nocturnia that talked about Lunia and her allies 500 years ago.

According to the scroll, every 500 years it is fated that there is a rift made between the waking world and dream world, and a dreamkeeper needs to gather along 4 allies and close the rift.

Each ally,along side their dream crafting powers, has a specific role with its own powers that will aid them in battle.

The first role is the soul. The soul is connected to dreamers and dream creatures, being able to create dream creatures and aid people.

The second role is the gear. The gear is connected to the dream realm itself and can use its resources to create weapons, vehicles etc.

The third role is the clock. The clock can manipulate time, rewind and create time loops.

The fourth role is the mind. The minds powers consist of mind control, telekinesis and telepathy. People whose role is the mind are usually very low imaginative.

Each role can take advantage of their allies powers because they mostly operate on cooperation. For example: if a person whose role is the gear is next to a person whose role is the mind, the gear can use the others telekinesis so it's easier to combine while the mind can use the others connection with the dream world to have knowledge of where exactly they are.

The dream chasers come to the conclusion that Mateo must train to become a dream keeper and the others must train for their respective roles with: Izzie as the soul, Cooper as the gear, Zoey as the clock and Logan as the mind.

The plot itself is also a huge journey filled with both dream world and waking world shenanigans, as Nova and the insomniacs are closer and closer to finding out about the dream worlds secrets aswell.

I’m re watching dreamzzz and I can’t believe their supposed to be like 12yrs old?? I thought they were at least 14-15 and Izzy and mateo were twins when I first watched it😭 because that would be so cute

So here’s my dreamzz head cannon that goes against actual lore

-mateo and Izzy are twins, their 14 (maybe 15)

-Logan and cooper are 15

- Zoey is 17 (shes been held back a couple years)

- lunia is mateo and Izzy’s mum, the reason she passed is because she used all he strength in the dream world to keep the NM king at bay but she wasn’t strong enough and eventually used all her power up, leading her to have to use her waking world body. She ended up getting sick (like what happened to cooper) but she couldn’t be helped

- nova and Izzy are best friends and had weekly ninjago marathons before the NM kings attacks

- cooper and Logan are low key dating, but also aren’t because Logan also has a crush on mateo but he doesn’t know it yet (he kinda realises when mateo comes to save him from the NM long)

- zblob if he wasn’t a dream creature would be a dog

- mr oz knows lunia is mateo and Izzy’s mum but doesn’t want to tell them because he feels like they will give up dream crafting if they found out

Some like sad yet interesting detail I’ve noticed in Dreamzzz. Major spoilers below the cut.

While watching episode 20 for the first time, you know, to finish season 1.

I’ve notice the Nightmare King tries to like hug Lunia, his creator, his best friend. At first when I watched ep 20 of this scene, I thought he would slash or stab her with his spear staff or strike her with lightning but I never expected something more softer because his cruel and ambitious nature.

Before the hug scene:

He looks shocked for a short moment and then what came out a genuine smile, but I don’t know if it’s really real or not, but hey actions speak louder than words.

Honestly, I think if he didn’t do this little action, he would be flat out in denial and tells the fake Lunia that she’s gone and ‘what! how! that’s not possible!”

“Who did this to me?” —Right after the sike hug scene.

After realizing he’s been tricked, he looks shocked and pretty much fooled and played. In the second photo he’s maybe angrily humiliated or just angry that he’s tricked.

Won’t blame him because if I got woah oh played by my feelings when someone dreamcrafted my probably dead loved one then yeah. I would understandably get mad and upsettingly embarrassed.

And after that, I feel like he’s trying to cover up that he’s hurt. “Did you honestly think you could defeat me all alone?” His tone of voice sounds somewhat surprised, or disappointed? But I’m surprised that he didn’t angrily and expressively lash out on Izzie for building his best friend as a decoy to trick him into stepping out the Waking World.

Overall, this scene somewhat makes him little bit redeemable but not fully if you get what I’m talking about.

Some small details from Lego Dreamzzz which I enjoy, because I am a nerd.

(Beware the read-more, it is somewhat long.)

1) Logan's Backpack

Logan has a soccerball, a basketball, and a baseball on his bag, along with what might be some hockey sticks on the side. Does he play all of these sports, or is he just a fan?

2) Mateo's Locker

I just think the stickers were a cute detail to add. Also, having the paint be chipped and fading is brilliant set design.

3) The School Sign

"WELCOME BAAA-CK TO SHEEP WEEK!"

4) Sheep Week Banner

We never saw this team onscreen, but now I kinda wish we had.

5) Makeshift Sports Equipment

Given that the goals they have set up appear to be made of wire mesh and wood, they were likely handmade instead of bought. Major props to whoever made this design choice; it really enhances the middle-school atmosphere!

6) Running for Cover

Logan pulling Cooper to safety while he's distracted by Izzie is so subtle, yet so sweet.

7) Lunia's Hourglass

When the Nightmare King attempts to use Lunia's hourglass, the sand(?) around it appears blue. I can't help but wonder if the color is significant.

8) An Inconsistency

When Logan first turns into his tiny form, the color is different depending on which platform you watch it on.

Night Terrors we're swooping down trying to take down the four dreamcrafter.

"Hunter?

Anna asked again with a worried tone in her voice since he didn't respond previously. Hunter shook his head.

"I'm okay Anna! Just keep the attack going!

Hunter took out his bow and started shooting the terrors. Anna smiled and went back into the fight. Oz was still blasting the terrors with his lazergun while Lunia was flying in the sky and using her staff.

Even with all their effort it seemed like they were gonna lose. The Nightmare king laughed as more Night Terrors entered the fight. And that's when it happend, when everyone was busy trying to shoot them out of the sky they all heard a scream. It was Anna.

"ANNA!"

Anna woke up and with that the Night terror was now also in the waking world. Oz didn't hesitate and woke up aswell.

"OZZY! DON'T-"

Hunter tried to reach out to Oz but he had already dissepaired into the sand.

Only Lunia and Hunter were left. There were too many, with half of their team gone it was certain. They we're gonna lose.

Huh? Lunia? What was she trying to do?

Hunter desperately tried to shoot the Night Terrors that were diving down at him but he wasn't fast enough. One flew right into him and threw him into the ground. It cackled as they both vanished.

Lunia did seal the Nightmare king away..but at cost of having her team break up...was it really worth it? Losing her life? Could've she done anything else?.

At the waking world.

Hunter shot up as sweat ran down his face. He quickly grabbed the nearest weapon he could find. What was a flashlight he had stored up in his nightstand. In case of emergencies. He got out of bed and went looking for the Night Terror. There were no signs of it. None. Nothing. He opened his door slowly as he turned on his flashlight. He slowly walked out his room and walked down the stairs.

Sorry it's been so long, I kept putting off asking and consequently forgetting about it, but would you care to enlighten me on that angst idea you mentioned on this post?

Season 1B has confirmed that Night Hunter was in the same group as Oz and Lunia, and Night Hunter feels very bitter about Oz playing hero/abandoning the fight for the sake of someone else.

Could just be me but I feel like there's a lot of angst potentional with that fact alone

Watched the sixth episode of LEGO DreamZzz: LOVED IT!

So... LEGO released some drawing tutorials with Mateo and I just... they're so pure I wanna hug him 😭😭😭 They're super adorable, I love especially Z-Blob's since he spends the entire time talking about how great his slime buddy is and MOOD MAT MOOD 💚💚💚

We're beyond halfway, I'm kinda sad but I'll wait until the end, maybe we got luck for a season 2?

Ah, so Z is an anomaly? Come to think of it, did he come across because of Lunia's hourglass? Was there another reason?

Alright this was another really REALLY good episode, but... now I'm stuck with the crazy theory that Mateo is the anomaly 🤣

I'm sure I'm wrong and I'm just blowing this out of proportion, but what if Strict examined that plant and found traces of Z AND Mateo? What if Lunia's hourglass was found by him for a reason?

She said that the anomaly appeared "the other night" so it was clearly Z Blob... but technically the other night was when the show started for me, so I might see this as Mateo appearing in this world for the first time. Could it be he fit in in one night, everyone's memories were changed to accept that, and no one questions this?

... I know this just me headcanoning left and right and it's clearly not gonna happen
