not to be that person but studio bones could and would change the ending of bungou stray dogs if they so desired. how do i know you ask? because that’s what they did with fullmetal alchemist and soul eater.

#the fma manga was being simultaneously released along w the anime and when the author couldn’t keep up w the deadlines #bones veered off and gave the anime a completely different ending #it wasn’t until 2009 that they decided to do a remake of the series to keep it canon w the manga and its ending #not complaining bc fma 03 was one of the greatest things i’ve ever watched but #my biggest fear is that they’ll actually let dazai die and have chuuya destroy everything and die himself #bones loved giving fma 03 the most heart wrenching horrible ending #having edward die in the final battle having the elric brothers separated in different timelines #nothing is too tragic for studio bones. nothing is so inherently implausible that they wouldn’t think of doing it. #i am. i am not prepared for wednesday. this could just be our last episode😭 #manifesting stormbringer or smth of that sort i am actually sobbing at bones’s feet #perhaps they’ll animate another light novel and leave the main plot altogether? and then revisit it in s6 (i’m delusional) #bungou stray dogs

having vague thoughts about E3 and the current state of AAA game development in general..

like yeah direct promotions have had more of an impact than Big Events for me, and the main thing I'd want to see out of E3 are trailers for new games or the conversations that follow online - but a few points on that

I can just as easily look up “new games for [platform] [year]” on youtube

Something about the way AAA games are built these days makes me get bored of them ⅔ of the way through, if I even make it that far, on top of them charging more for less content and hiding away the rest behind multiple DLC packs

I've mostly been buying indies the past few years and have gotten a lot of fun out of them; they continue to deliver a nearly unrivaled experience of fun gameplay mechanics and interesting/emotional stories at a ridiculously low cost

I also have emulators for going back and playing old games I really liked so I'm not exactly desperate for new games

and idk!! weird to see E3 officially ending but I also think the landscape is very different these days including the game companies themselves. I'm not a game dev so I can't rly speak to what the change has looked like on their end over the past 10-20 yrs.

#i kind of wanna read or watch an interview with someone who's done game development for Years #and see them talk about What's Changed bc on god these AAA games can be so different from each other #but still somehow sm of them get kind of boring and repetitive FAST #i can def fw some games. Entitled customers are funny, imagine kicking up such a fuss with our managers that 2 mall security guards had to be called to come mediate all because you and your wife not only can't read but also can't see that our menu literally serves soft poached egg, not a boiled egg, in our Japanese rice bowls

Anyway read the menu properly y'all and ask questions if you're unsure, don't be a dick to hospitality workers especially over dumb shit

#this happened yesterday during boxing day #it was truly hilarious to me #this lady came to complain about our egg not being boiled fully #to which my managers were like 'yeah our menu only serves soft boiled it's shown and written very clearly on it' #but apparently this lady wasn't happy with that answer cause she left and then sent her husband back with the bowl to argue!!!! #and my managers were like nah we're gonna call security to mediate cause this guy legit just kept raising his voice #anyway in the time span of waiting for security to show up #this guy literally pulls his phone out to record a negative review of us which lmao alright #and then proceeds to tell customers looking at our menu to not order from us cause we've got bad food #they still ordered from us anyway with 1 customer saying to my coworker that they hoped he left soon cause he was making them uncomfortable #anyway security shows up and them + the guy + my managers talk for like 10+ minutes #with this guy apparently mentioning at one point that he wants us shut down #just to remind y'all if you're reading this that this is all over a soft boiled egg that is very clearly shown on the menu #and the whole thing ended with 1 of the security coming in to the shop to watch us remake the bowl without the egg #because apparently the guy was afraid we'd do something to his bowl #security looked done with this and apologised to us for this guy being so rude #also before anyone says anything both this guy and wife were fluent in English so it wasn't a matter of them not being able to read our men #and also again our bowls show a very obvious not hard boiled egg #anyway i hope they had an awful day afterwards for being such entitled dicks to us

Everyone needs to drop everything and watch moon girl and devil dinosaur right now!!! It's SO GOOD y'all! The animation is smooth, snappy, creative, and fun! (And it's done by the same studio as rottmnt!!!) The characters all feel fresh while being incredibly likable and charming. And the soundtrack is seriously god-tier!!!

Plus, that's not even mentioning all the representation! All the main characters are POC and there are multiple moments of LGBT+ rep!

This isn't even scratching the surface! The show has so much heart and clearly has a TON of passion poured into it! I literally can't recommend it enough! If you're at all interested, go check it out! The first two episodes are up on Disney's YouTube channel for free!

#i know getting s+ with every character on all maps isnt THAT HARD for a lot of people #but it was for me #the docks are my least favourite stage #village is so chill compared to the docks #castle was surprisingly easy #just the catapults were annoying #the island was a gosh darn pain but i sorta had a good flow going most of the time #but the docks kicked my ass #like ok if ur doing wesker hunk krauser or luis its pretty doable #luis mostly because of his dynamite #wesker is just kung fu fighting through every obstacle #but with leon and ada it can be pretty hard because your mayhem ability is just extra speed and extra damage i think #which is nice but u still have to do well and watch out for ur health efuhwef #tho mafia leon and dress ada are pretty good with the assault rifle and tmp for groups #anyway i can finally rest now #i did it #re4 remake #re4 remake mercenaries #leon kennedy
