my family's dnd antics! (continued)

after our campaign went on hiatus for the summer my fam finally sat down and continued! anyways here are some highlights

my dad spending a full 20 minutes bargaining with an npc over how much he could sell a live bear for

my sister flirting with the innkeeper (a fifty year old man)

my mom going out of her way to find any drama in town and make it worse

my dad rolling a 4 on persuading the innkeeper to let him have a live wolf in his room

my sister immediately swooping in to negotiate (reroll) and getting a 24

all of them spending 10 minutes doing math to see what rooms were the best deal at the inn

my sister (playing a tiefling) calling any inconvenience or disagreement racism and irritating my mom out of her mind

my dad becoming immensely distracted by the 'forest ambiance' youtube video i was playing and trying to identify the bird calls

the party collectively rolling a nat 20 and completely skipping the encounter i'd been preparing for a week

bg3 is crazy for being a massive $70 larian + wotc collab game whose accessibility menu features subtitles that are present for less than half of all idle character dialogue and almost zero battle dialogue
