How long have you been drawing? It sounds so cliché saying this, but for as long as I can think, I guess? I specifically recall a drawing class in primary school, where we drew lighthouses and glued actual sand on the paper. It was fun.

How often do you use references? I wish I'd use them more. I am getting better at it, especially as I've started to widen my drawing horizon recently.

How much time do you spend drawing on an average day? Not much, if I'm honest. I wish I'd do more. Also: See question underneath this:

Do you draw more today than you did in the past, or do you draw less? Definitely less, due to a variety of reason. Motivation, wrist issues, convenience. My new phone does not have a pen, so I cannot draw on it anymore, which I usually did because it was easier than plugging my tablet in. But in all honesty, I think having this option taken away from me will do my hand good. I am starting to carry my sketchbook with me, again!

Do you think you’re justified in giving other people art advice? No. Only when they ask me to and even then. I still have a lot to learn myself.

last movie/tv show the last couple movies i watched were tokyo gore police and the deadly spawn. both were first time watches, definitely recommend if you like sfx gore and body horror :3 and im in the middle of watching berserk (1997) for the first time!! i like it so far.. i'll probably read the manga once i finish it. i'm also still watching the latest dragula season, i just need to see the last 2 eps but i did get spoiled on who won and im very happy about who it is!!

sweet/spicy/savory savory <3 but i love sweet too as long as it's not sickeningly sweet. and while i do like spicy food my tolerance for it is pretty low :(

hey! i haven’t used this blog in forever again - im way more active at @devilsflowermantis if you want to check that blog out

#i came back here because i was not ok #this blog reminds me of bad shit #it seems i only use it when my bpd symptoms are at their worst #i was psychotic and hallucinating last time i used it #obsessive #having multiple meltdowns daily #i was suddenly thrown into a debilitating chronic illness after being unlucky enough to get covid in march 2020 #nearly fainting many times a day and seizures and confusion and bedridden #the meds im taking help it at least #i also lost many friends #one who abandoned everyone because after a decade long friendship with me decided they hate lgbt people #i fucked some stuff up too. #i did start going outside more and have a tan for the first time in my life! lol #and i started on T which has helped me tremendously #didn’t know just how bad my dysphoria was until i started it - it was literally physically painful. #i’ve learned a lot these past couple years and i’m liking the person i’m becoming #like truly. #shits been hard but im doing what i ca n #i just needed to vent in the tags lol

Play an instrument: i used to play bass guitar (self taught) regularly but i kind of dropped it when the pandemic hit  😔
