Baby made their first .gif, yes yes, thank you i am proud of myself for braving technology!
What is everyone’s take on what he mouth’s here? To me, and have it be known I am incredibly bad at lip reading, it looks like:
“We need help.”
It also looks like he’s miming a ‘timeout’ signal.
please discuss and let me know your opinions lovebugs! and no, there is no dialogue that takes place during this gif if you’re unfamiliar. all these mouth movements are *silent* 👄

i think i just learned more about dt's process and character insight by listening to him rave about anthony hopkins' performance in the remains of the day than i have in months of doing a deep dive into his lore. love these little glimpses of incredibly skilled and experienced artist shining through under the veneer of oh i don't know i just show up and do my thing.
hard same. I am enamored with this clip I am snorting it.

Having now shared with great success and love the whole of Good omens with my queer twelve year old (he´s just coming off a fairly intense long Sherlock fixation) am having to relive in exquisite detail all the agony and ecstasy of The Ineffables. Exhibit A, THIS, where the poor kid was just reduced to spluttering. The poor lucky kid has now been drawn very deep into the net.
Alex: But.... how DARE he?
Me: (fake ignorance) What do you mean?
Alex: How...how DARE he do THAT with his FACE. How even DARE he. It´s too GOOD.
Me: Do you mean the character or the actor? Because its all a choice you know.
Alex: Theres no difference! He still made THIS face! At CROWLEY who LOVES him so MUCH!
Me: Yup yup.
Alex: "SMITTEN"!? He says that to Crowleys whole FACE?
Me: yup yup yup.
Alex: (pause) This is the BEST thing. But also the WORST thing.
Me: Yes, Michael Sheen is an insufferable wonderful menace.
Alex: He must NEVER change.

dysfunctional families, generational traumas and a self-loathing father who sees himself in his son and cannot forgive him for it. this show really went off with all the top-tier themes lol truly unmatched.
Tumblr media
that being said, what cesare doesn't realize is that despite his father 'favoring' juan, it's cesare whom his father truly trusts. sadly, it took cesare killing juan for rodrigo to set him free from being a cleric. if he only knew that his father plainly relies on him and has plans something ultimately much greater, cesare wouldn't have envied and hated his younger brother, and things wouldn't have led to juan's death.
Tumblr media
rodrigo made cesare believe that he wasn't truly loved by him when in reality, he does love cesare immensely and admires him for his drive and ambition. however, rodrigo chose to be self-deluded and ashamed of admitting it. he appointed juan a task that cesare has always wanted, despite knowing well that cesare is infinitely better suited for it. this resulted in cesare developing a strong hatred and envy toward juan.
Tumblr media
as for juan's case, he never asked for the position he was given, but he tried his best to fulfill his responsibilities. (like when he showed bravery by willingly risking his life against the french, even after his troops were torn apart, but only surrendered because the prospect of him dying would upset lucrezia) despite his father's love, juan felt deeply isolated because he never had a peer. he was good natured and had a deep love for his family, and all he wanted was to be included in their world. however, he struggled immensely in expressing his feelings, which led to him being shunned and his death going unmourned. it is tragic because ultimately he longed to feel like a 'true' borgia and have a close relationship with his family, especially with cesare. but the lack of moral guidance and the weight of expectations pushed him to behave inappropriately, resulting in everyone pushing him away.
in conclusion, rodrigo was too blinded by his own ambitions and dismissed his children's concerns it's why i can't bring myself to blame neither of them, they were all trapped by their father's ambitions and favoritism, he was the one who unintentionally pit them against each other by making both of his sons feel inadequate in the positions he bestowed upon them.

a nightingale sang in berkeley square being aziraphale and crowley's song, the nightingale representing what they've felt for each other through the years, crowley being the one to say it out loud and address the fact that the nightingale was there, that it was real and then saying that neither of them can hear it now, aziraphale fully taking in what crowley meant, aziraphale looking away, aziraphale about to cry, crowley kissing aziraphale in a desperate attempt to mend things, knowing things were over but still trying all the same, aziraphale saying "i forgive you" but for what? for kissing him? for confessing only when everything was too late? for saying there were no more nightingales? and then we got crowley saying "don't bother" and walking away but still waiting outside to see aziraphale leave for heaven and maybe it's because he wanted to see aziraphale for as long as he could before they parted ways or maybe it's because deep down he was still hoping for things to change — either way i am GOING TO THROW UP

@autisticempathydaemon said they loved my Angel listener (along with everything else it was SO SWEETTT OMLLL<333) so here’s a doodle for you! They’re also one of my favorites!
Look at that face.
Tumblr media
Full of mischief.
Tumblr media
Some fun facts about them: they’re native! Specifically they could be from the Salishan (but I don’t know too much so I leave it ambiguous) and are half Filipino, born and raised in British Columbia, Canada around Vancouver. They were raised by their mom and brothers, then moving to dahlia for college.
They originally planned to secure a high end job in Vancouver just going to California for school but they met David. They still visit their family as often as they can.
They’re 5’4, the shortest listener! Aklag is still beefy and could definitely throw David over their head. Their callouses are from being raised on a farm, and they’re starting to fade now.
I took them out of another story I made a while ago so I’m still trying to tweak them seamlessly so I’ll actually maybe probably not but make a backstory sheet for my listeners?
Thank you sm for your words and I hope you like it!

Feeling a bit conflicted on this so as a Jewish person going to share my thoughts
The Star of David is a Jewish symbol.
It is NOT original to Israel. People who use the Star of David aren’t inherently affiliated with Israel in the slightest and for people to harass uninvolved Jews or accuse them of being zionists bc they have the Star of David on their person/on their profile are antisemitic. Plain and simple. The Star of David is not a hate symbol and to equate being Jewish with automatically being a zionist is antisemitic as fuck
That being said, there’s no doubt it’s being used a hate symbol and many Palestinians see it as such. Pro-Palestinian posters and messages are being vandalized with the Star of David, flags with the star are being flown over destroyed Palestinian towns- towns that have been bombed into dust by people wearing the same symbol-, Israeli soldiers even BRAND innocent Palestinians with it- permanently marking it into their skin as a sadistic act of unneeded cruelty and humiliation. Yes, while it’s not intentionally used as a hate symbol zionists are using it as such and consequently we’re not going to blame Palestinians for seeing it as so !!!
“The Star of David is an important Jewish symbol and not indicative of Zionism in the slightest” and “The Star of David is unfortunately seen as a symbol of oppression by many of those suffering from Israel’s brutal ethnic cleansing” are statements that can and need to co-exist.
While yes, it’s antisemitic as hell to point fingers to anyone who has the Star of David on them and call them a zionist, do not fucking harass the Palestinians who had no fucking choice but to associate that symbol with hate and violence and death

David Alleyne/Prodigy has such a interesting power, if he's near someone he can gain all their learned knowledge and skills. he stood near Rictor and knew what he knew about Shatterstar, he knows how Scott and Emma kiss, so that means he knows EVERYTHING about everyone he's near. Think about that, actually THINK about that? If he stood near you he'd know everything you ever learned about yourself or others. It's just so interesting to me.
