David Bright Headcanons:

Mister Cupcake's service vest would have a small pouch or backpack attached with one or two different cane tips so if David goes to a places with different terrains, he can change his cane tips.

David organises his money in his wallet by folding then differently. Or he just puts them in different pockets.

Carries trail mix in his pocket at all times. And snacks. A lot of snacks. He has a candy bar somewhere in his jeans.

He's actually pretty fit and buff. Works out a lot. Man's got muscles. He's also, like, really tall.

Prior to his blindness, like Mikell, David's aim is scarily accurate. He was very good with axe-throwing.

He's very sporty and outdoorsy, actually. Prior to that incident, he spends a lot of time doing outdoor activities like horseback riding, biking, hiking and ice hockey.

He still love sports and outdoor activities. Dude still regularly goes on a lot of walks, hikes and swims. He's been trying out rock-climbing too.

Despite his active lifestyle, within the Serpent's Hand, he's more well known for being a more behind-the-scenes guy. He's the guy you'd look for advice or opinions or even ask to represent/talk to people. (Brain not braining ATM so I can't think of the words)

This man is wayyyyy too much like Mikell in terms of charisma, people skills and charm. (Listen, Mikell did not get THAT many children without some sort people-skills you get me?)

He's in a big, closed polycule with 5 other guys. They're not all human but they all love each other and hold hands.

You can count on him to have a knife all the time.

He's actually pretty close with Sera and they're pretty friendly towards each other! He helped her a lot.

He gets a bit tense around Yoric though. Something about him makes him feel really uncomfortable and he can never figure out or see what Yoric will do next. (A Yoric headcanon that deserves its own post)

David's clairvoyance is not as powerful as Claire's because he's only Clairvoyant while Claire has Clairvoyance, Clairaudience AND Claircognizant.

He's got his hair in an undercut and his hairstyle really changes from time to time.

He actually doesn't really mind how long his hair is as as it's out of his face but one of his boyfriends uses him to practice on working with black hair and he's always happy to help them.

His boyfriends once dressed him up in a full on tuxedo with his sunglasses and he looked like a bodyguard to a celebrity. There were so many pictures taken.

Bonus: Mister Cupcake's tail gets dyed a lot. Mostly rainbow but once got the MLM flag palette, bright neon pink and toxic green

-alright so in Davids lore he never wanted a kid, but if he does end up having one whether he adopted or not..well he won't hate them.

- I couldn't personally imagine him hating his kid, he'd just think he's being just like his own dad.

-he'll love his daughter no matter what, he just hopes the 'Ambrose' curse won't affect them

-He's raised you to be a good person, he doesn't want you to be anything like his other family members..well if you were like TJ or Tamlin he wouldn't mind but anyone else is off the list.

-very protective of you, especially when you show to have anomalous properties. He doesn't want the Foundation to take you, he knows they will and he'd rather become enemy number one then let them take you

-but the inevitable eventually happens, somehow they learned of your properties. Maybe someone knew David had a kid and thought it would be the same thing as TJ and Claire, maybe someone betrayed him. He doesn't know..

-he only knows that when he came back home you were gone and the house was trashed, a struggle had been left behind.

-now you were at site-17 a pretty safe site at least, you were sat in an empty room just trying to find out where your 'papa' was

-but no one would give you answers, they just kept calling you a number never your real name

-"i'm not 7291! I'm y/n! Please where's my papa!" But the researchers didn't care much for your pleas or your cries

-a certain 05 learned about you though, it took some power to finally learn something about you as well..you looked like *him*

-you looked just like his son, a spitting image of David..a spitting image of him.

-he read the reports of how you only wanted your dad, how you refused to cooperate. How the researchers had decided your 'punishment' for that was to be left alone for days at a time

-he knew he shouldn't of done anything, he should've just put the file down and resumed his duties. But he felt so much regret and hatred for how he treated David..for what he did to his son

-he couldn't free you nor could he request it, he knew doing so would eventually lead to him ending up like his dad.

-so he tried to make your stay a little easier, whatever you requested for your room he'd usually approve. He'd sometimes even visit so you'd have a friend at least.

-he'd only visit when you weren't being bothered by other researcher though, And luckily no one bothered you two since he was an 05

-he'd usually tell you stories and check up on you, maybe even play with ya if that's what you wanted.

-David still hates him though and Mikell will never admit how he's tried to protect you and take care of you. So this is his secret, and eventually he'll find a way to make your stay a lot easier

no not directly, I honestly did not know much about his charterer or any of the extended bright family before the rewrite, so a lot of them didn't make it in.

I lied, have art I drew today

We got Carrie and Danny (my re-write's Claire and David Blindman)

Okay so a few changes to the story/character for both of them

First and most importantly Micha didn't send Danny to get his eyes taken out because WHAT THE FUCK. Micha tried to use a freaky magic spell thing to remove his future vision as a last resort because the foundation found out about Danny's future vision (Micha was keeping it secret) but it didn't work and it blinded him, so out of guilt and fear that the foundation would take Danny he sent Danny to the Serpents Hand to live with with Carrie to keep him safe. And also he has arthritis and needs to walk with a cane some days.

Okay so Carrie was diagnosed with schizophrenia when she was 15 because of her trying to warn people about bad things that are about to happen, Adam (have not drawn him yet because I hate him/j) out of concern put Carrie into containment at Site 13 (yes I know there's site 13 lore in cannon please just ignore that) because site 13 is small and treats the humanoid anomalies almost nicely. Carrie was broken out of containment by the Serpents Hand along with all the humanoid anomalies on site and Carrie decided to join the Serpents Hand.

Bright Family Headcanons now because I have family brainrot

I'm bored again and the last headcanon list did pretty good so here's more.

The family splits into 3 generations at the moment. With the Oldest/First Gen being Adam and Evelyn. 2nd Gen being the Bright siblings (Mikell to Sarah) and 3rd Gen being the siblings kids/descendants (David, Yoric and Sera). Tamlin is their own entity. The Main Bloodline is those who holds the Bright last name aka Ada and Evelyn's children.

The family farm isn't actually a farm. It's actually a ranch and they raise a few cows, goats, sheep and horses. When the Bright siblings were kids, they got money by renting out horses to people and selling animal products. Now that Mikell inherited the ranch, he has since expanded it by adding ostriches and alpacas.

Yoric likes bugs. I've said this before. But in addition to him liking bugs, he also keeps an ant farm, a few beetle enclosures and a scorpion in his apartment.

He also has a few taxidermy beetles and knows how to taxidermy bugs. Again, no one knows how/when he knows. He just whips it out one day surprising a few people.

Most of the Bright family members are multilingual and English tends to be their second/third language with a few exceptions.

Mikell owns at least two horses. One of them's a miniature pony and she's has the shortest temper ever.

TJ is very good with sewing, knitting and embroidery. He has sewn all his dresses before and knits regularly. He's trying to teach it to Sera and they bond over it.

Adam likes fishing. He once brought Mikell out to fish before and that is the ONE good day that Mikell ever had with his father. Ever.

Not counting Sarah- Evelyn is the tallest in the family. Followed by Mikell. Then David, Yoric, TJ, Jack & Claire, Adam, Sera.

Claire gave Mister Cupcake to David as a birthday gift for his 19th birthday shortly after he left Mikell. He was suffering from tremendous amounts of PTSD, depression and anxiety at the time along with his hard time adjusting to his blindness when Mister Cupcake was introduced to him and they immediately clicked. She's been with him for a long, long time.

Most of the family members have a very high spice tolerance and prefer spicy food with the exceptions to Mikell, Sera and Adam.

Mikell got the family's torah during his bat mitzvah. He passed it along to David's sister at her bar mitzvah and it got to Tamlin and then it's back from the start now because of Tamlin's time thing going on.

At least two family members have a photographic memory.

Jack and David are the family historians in which they record every single Bright family member in existence. The differences in their records is that Jack's only contains all legitimate and recognised children while David's includes all illegitimate children.

The Bright family has an annual family gathering together ever since Claire's death. It lasts for a week but not everyone stays that long. The family gathering is really big because family members outside of the main bloodline (Adam and Evelyn, Bright siblings and 3rd Gen) drop by too.

The entire family is queer to some degree.

The family actually has an immortality/longetivity curse. Either you get immortality, longetivity or if you're extremely lucky- none. The difference between immortality and longetivity is immortal means you can't die (e.g. Jack) and longetivity just means you live for a long, long time either due to an anomalous means or something else (e.g. Mikell able to live for a long time because of his access to SCP-006)

The Brights have been around for a long, LONG time. Immortals in the anomalous community have a chance to be biologically related to the Bright family to some degree.

Evelyn has a recipe book that she gave to Claire a while back- before she ran away from home. She left the book behind and Jack took it. That's when he discovered his love for cooking.

Mikell's the oldest with a 13 year difference between him and Jack. TJ and Claire are twins with TJ being the older one. They have roughly a 7 year difference with Jack. Sarah was born when Jack was 15.

I was the one that shot O5-6 in the balls. In my defense he has too many kids and only talks to one of them. I think it's like, agent blindman or somethin???

David doesn't talk to him for obvious reasons.... But nevertheless 6 still tries to make contact from time to time despite David not being interested and it typically ending in a fight. David's a good kid and I'm glad he isn't talking to his father anymore. But yeah 6 doesn't deserve to have any more kids with how he has treated the ones he does have.

Hi it's me again! Sorry i'm requesting too much. Can request any scp character with a reader who is homeless but surprisingly good at hiding it. But there are subtle signs like them always getting to work just on time, clothes that have totally seen the sewing kit a few times, hell they just don't even say anything most of the times cus it's clear they've got a hoarse throat but no meds. Basically they work as the janitor and are giving most of their money to there family to help with their issues so the reader just sleeps in their car.

Explaining:

-during your time working for the SCP Foundation you sadly began to slowly suffer from homelessness.

-it started off as things that seemed easy to fix, you made deals with the light company to pay extra next month, begged your landlord to let you pay in halves

-that was an easy fix after all you'd get a raise soon right? With how badly the interest of renting was going up you needed it..

-then your family began to suffer, you were hardly scrapping by and now you were getting calls from your mother begging for money to help with cancer treatments

-You began to give the majority of your money to them, your deals with the light company and your land lord going up in smoke when you told them 'i can't pay this month i'm sorry..'

-One day when you returned to your home after a long day of work, needing a shower you saw a note on your door. Your blood ran cold when you saw it was a '30 day notice' you had 30 days to leave.

-Your friend came over and helped you pack your stuff, but you had nowhere to put it..that's when your father told you that you could store it all at their place

-now with your things stored you tried to find homes, anything with cheap rent but it was useless. The rent for nearly every place was 1000+ and your paycheck now hardly gave you 100

-So now you've decided to start sleeping in your car, you didn't want your family to worry about you so you told them that your new place just couldn't hold all your stuff. But you'd come back to get it once you got a bigger place

-you also lied to their face and told them you had a small apartment, all the while you slept in your car in the site-19 parking lot. No one really seemed to bother you but that was probably because you were just the janitor

-well..there was one person who seemed to bother you, they'd always hear how hoarse your throat sounded and tell you to go to the on site doctor.

-or they'd see the bags under your eyes and your unbrushed hair and ask if you had been rushed to work today

-you never told them anything, you lied to their face just like your family. You didn't want anyone to look down on you OR pity you.

-but one day as you were brushing your teeth near your car holding a water bottle in one hand and brushing your teeth with the other. Just as you spit you heard a slight gasp

-turning your head around your eyes widened as you saw....

Dr. Elias Shaw

-Dr. Shaw stared at you, she had come outside to leave work for the day a little later than usual. When he spotted you "shit...y/n do you..live like this?"

-they asked glancing at the car and the makeshift bed in the back, he heard you sigh "yes i do. Look i'm sorry if it's not allowed on site i'll find a Walmart or something to sleep at"

-Dr. Shaw looked at you with confusion and worry mixed on his face "no no, no need for that." She put a hand through her hair "Jesus Y/n why didn't you tell me this was how you lived? I could've gotten permission to give you a dorm"

-you looked away from them "cause i don't want anyone pitying me." Elias tilted his head confused "what? No one would pity you though. Hell y/n you can't sleep and survive in a car. Trust me i tried"

-you looked at Dr. Shaw as they watched you, you looked embarrassed to be 'caught' like this. You felt like a kid who had been caught shoplifting.

-Dr. Shaw sighed "look, if i can't get you a dorm why don't you uh..stay with me? I've got my own place outside of the site." She crossed her arms "and honestly i'm not too keen on leaving my friend homeless"

-you nodded putting the water bottle in the side of your door "..okay, sure..thank you Dr. Shaw" he smiled "just call me Elias"

Dr. Clef

-Clef had his ukulele held in one hand as he faced you, his cheshire grin slowly turning into a frown "shit i was hopin' to catch ya before ya left, but uh..didn't really expect to see this"

-You looked embarrassed that Clef of all people found you homeless, he was probably gonna tell everyone now and then they'll all just make your life harder by taunting you about it

-But Clef just sighed taking off his hat and scratching his head "didn't know our pay grade was that shit." He put his hat back on "c'mon." He said motioning for you to follow him

-you looked confused "where are we going?" After speaking you tried to clear your throat, Clef looked back at you "to getcha some medicine, then you'll be staying with me at my dorm..i mean unless you really do wanna stay in a car outside of our lovely little site."

-you followed the short man as he chuckled "i'll admit you were pretty good at hidin' it till ya got that awful cough of yours."

David Blindman

-from the shadows emerged the blindman himself, he held a walking stick as he 'stared' right at you. You thought you could play this off "oh hey David, i was just about to head hom-"

-he interrupts you "no you weren't." The man stood his ground his big ol' seeing eye poodle/chupacabra cupcake next to him.

-You tried to change the conversation "what are you doing here? You don't work for the Foundation" he nods "indeed i don't, i came here for a..family meeting."

-the two of you stared at each other before David spoke "you can't live like this y/n, i have plenty of room for you to stay with me if you want."

-you looked away for a moment towards your car then at him "i'm fine David, i can manage" he tilted his head "can you?"

-after he said that your mind began to race with thoughts, how long would you actually survive like this? How long till you die from not receiving any medicine? How long till you starve?

-you sighed "you're right..shit." David smiled at that "my place isn't far don't worry"

Mikell Shaw

-a cigarette hung from his mouth as he walked over to you, he put the camel brand pack into his pocket as he looked at you "why the fuck are you brushing your teeth outside?"

-you couldn't even make up an excuse for that, especially with how your car looked. Mikell was a smart man and it wouldn't take him long to connect the dots, and just as you thought that you heard him mutter a curse

-he drew the cigarette from his mouth blowing smoke to the side "you live like this?" He said side glancing at the car

-you spoke your voice hoarse "y-" a cough interrupted you "yes" Mikell stared at you as the cigarette slowly went out in his hand.

-"you're coming with me, i got a ranch you can stay at." He said almost sounding as if he was *demanding* you to go with him.

-you spoke "bu-" he looked back at you "do you really wanna argue with me about trying to get you a better place."

-you shook your head and spoke "no, i'll follow you there..thanks Mikell" he nodded taking a drag from his cigarette "no problem"

Dr. Glass

-Glass walked towards you with a saddened look "y/n? Are you..are you living in your car?" You didn't know how to answer the doctor, you didn't want him to worry about you..you didn't want anyone to worry

-"I um.." You couldn't mash together an excuse or anything, you couldn't lie to Glass..he'd know somehow he'd know.

-Glass sighed as he walked over to your car picking up some of your blankets "come on" you looked at him confused "wha..what are you?"

-Glass looked back at you "i refuse to let you sleep in your car, it's not good for you mentally and physically. You'll sleep in my dorm"

-you couldn't refuse the therapists kindness, he wouldn't let you. He'd just keep insisting to help you until you finally accepted his help. So you nodded grabbing your bag with your necessities and followed him back into the site.

1899 Adam Bright and Evelyn Navon get married so ppl stop asking, they eventually fall in love. 1900 they have their first mistake (only Sarah was planned), Mikkel, Adam doesn't show love to his son. 1901 They're second mistake, Jackie (Jack's trans in my au), Adam again, doesn't show affection for his daughter. 1911 Adam gest abusive towards his son and neglectful towards his daughter. 1920 WW1 is on, somewhere during it another mistake, Claire the 1st is born. Jackie, now 19, falls in love with 01 and eventually gets pregnant with him, they decide it's time to get married, Evelyn is against they're marriage while Adam is thrilled, the foundation is created. 1924, TJ Bright is born. 1930, TJ Bright is contained no matter his older siblings protests. Jackie and 01 get divorced after they're child dies at the age of two. Jackie, now with no regard to her life, tales part in testing 113 (that stone that turns you the opposite gender, I hope I got it right) and 963, ending up in immortality. 1939, WW2 starts, Jack Bright, now as a White male, becomes a solider and meets the love of his life, Simon Glass there. Sarah Bright is born, we all know the story. (And if u don't go read 321 or 123 idk the number.) 1945, wars over, Jack and Simon are still together, Simon starts working as a field agent, it doesn't take much time for the foundation to realize he's too weak for that spot and hey, a new department called 'psychology' needs to be taken care of, and who else but a soft guy who can get to anyone? 1946, Claire the 2nd is born as well as David Blindman and Serra Argent. 1950, Serra is being started to train, Yorick Elroy is born to an unknown woman. David Blindman is blinded by his father, after he found out he will have to contain his son, Mikkel is an 05 at the time. 1961, Claire the 3rd is born (under the name Clark). Claire the 1st takes David Blindman in. During a containment breach Simon Glass bumps into 049 and, wait, shouldn't he be dead? They were both surprised as you are right now, if you are surprised ofc. Both Simon and 049 experiment on it, is Simon immortal? 1970 Simon Glass's theory is confirmed when during a raid by the Chaos Insurgency Simon Glass is shot, and isn't dead or wounded, of course he noticed he wasn't aging visibly but is it possible 049's touch made him immortal? 1979, David comes out to his aunt, Simon and Jack come out to the rest of family. 1983, Alto Clef has been born and contained, in December of that year Jack Bright is told to terminate the baby, he instead takes him home to his husband, they raised the kid. (And the 05's, well, let's jus say Jack has some uncomfortable info they don't want leaked...). 2000, Claire the 3rd comes out. 2003, Jack Bright and Simon Glass get married.

Nothing much happens till that time except for 166's Birth and containment.

2018, Claire the 1st dies, her family Mourns her death. 2019, Draven Kondraki and James Talloran meet and start dating. Alto Clef and Benjamin Kondraki get married.

2021, 166 somehow learns to control her anomalous effect, still, only family is allowed near her, they're not to touch her, and there must be at least three female guards with them.

2022, Family Christmas, James Talloran and Draven Kondraki announce they're engagement, family celebration, they spent new year's eve together.
