Here’s a diptych of one of my latest collages. “ nature is abstract “ 2023
These collages are made from old darkroom photographs that I printed. Using the rejections I turned these images into a new way of seeing them.

Hi! Love your art! I noticed your darkroom photog post — I’m a photo major in a program that’s exclusively darkroom for the first half. Don’t feel bad about screwing up the development, it happens all the time!! If you have any questions I’d love to help, so my suffering through the darkroom bears fruit haha
oh my god that's awesome!! yeah i've been LOVING darkroom so far, especially as a person who is very into digital art and mediums, it's so cool to experiment with a process that is completely analog. i've made a couple of prints but even if I only use the enlarger for a couple seconds, i end up putting it in the developer bath for WAY too long and the print practically turns black and then its a mad scramble to fish it out with the tongs LOL... i'd actually love to share more of my prints and progress on this blog so it's awesome that photo majors are seeing it :)
