also, opal, i'm kind of surprised to know you were in the fleet! why did you join initially, and how/why did you eventually leave? would you ever go back, or are you glad to leave all of that behind?

I didn't have a say whether to join or not, not really. Rather I was presented an option, an opportunity they called it, to put my abilities to 'good use'. I popped up on the fleet's radar after a handful of counts of disorderly conduct and manslaughter.

But I had a passion for toxicology and they were keen on getting every bit of use out of me. Of course I joined. Wouldn't you, when faced the alternative?

"My holiday was very good! I spent most of it with Thanny, but then he said he had some business to take care of - -I have no idea what that as about -- So I hopped around to Addy's first then I had a few hours with Laz and his family.

I ended the evening with Tozika and Gordon, and that was just delightful! We sat down and enjoyed each other's company while talking about this, that, and also whatever else.

Well! Gordon and I did most of the talking, Tozzy simply basked in the glow of the evening.
