Being Joshua Hong's passenger princess
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis: The privileges you have being Joshua’s passenger princess. Joshua x gn! reader | fluff, established relationship | 1.68k words | warnings: car crash, reckless driving, alcohol (you’re drunk not him), slight possessiveness (joshua gets annoyed when people flirt), petnames (darling) A/n: this is my dream honestly… me when? Also uhm I got carried away…
Tumblr media
❥︎ Being Joshua Hong’s passenger princess means you will be treated like royalty. You’ll be accorded privileges no one else has. You’ll be given the white glove treatment, waited on hand and foot (by him).
❥︎ Let’s start off by talking about the car itself. The car might be his, but he’s yours so by extension his car is your car? That makes total sense right? In fact, the model he bought was one you said you really liked. You can bet the car has been customised to your wants and needs.
❥︎ Joshua basically gives you free reign over how you want the car to be decorated. You can be a minimalist and keep his car fairly empty except for some car hooks and necessary car cleaning supplies. Or, you can go crazy and make his car look like a plushie store full of plushies and ornaments. Just make sure he can reach the spare tire easily (duh! So that if he needs he can show off how he knows how to change a tire… he’ll look absolutely gorgeous doing it too)
❥︎ He keeps several items in the car just for you too. There’s a little throw blanket just in case you get cold. There’s an extra pair of sunglasses in the glove compartment just in case the glare from the sun gets too much. There’s even a special headrest or backrest or plush cushion on the passenger seat for your comfort. He goes the extra mile to remove it when the rest of the members sit in his car. The members are messy okay? He doesn’t want your stuff to get dirtied because some member decided to sing karaoke at full volume while drinking coffee.
❥︎ The height of the head rest and the position of the passenger seat is tailored to suit your height and needs. No one is allowed to adjust your seat. He actually (gently) smacked jeonghan and DK when they tried adjusting the seat.  It’s just too bad if the other members feel uncomfortable. That seat is yours, and yours alone. Actually, you know what? Maybe the members should just sit at the back seat and leave your seat empty…
❥︎ The same thing happens with the radio. If you like it at a certain channel or have it preset to a certain playlist, no one is allowed to touch the radio. In fact, he’ll keep the music off most of the time so that you’ll be able to start listening to the playlist from where you left off.
❥︎ Technically, the passenger should be the person who navigates the map. You try your best, but sometimes you get mixed up even with the gps. Joshua never scolds you, he’ll just laugh it off and tell you it’s okay because it’s a new adventure with you. When he’s with the members though, it’s usually poor Dino getting nagged at about how he can’t read a map to save his life.
❥︎ Obviously, Joshua is going to drive you everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Just because you have the option to take a cab or public transport or drive yourself (if you have a license), doesn’t mean you should have to resort to those options. His schedule be damned, he’ll find a way to make time just for you.
❥︎ Don’t you dare say you don’t want to trouble him. You might be a troublemaker in your own right, but you’ll never, ever be a bother/ trouble to him. He wants to drive you around. That’s his choice, and his love language. It’s acts of service and quality time all rolled into one. He’s not going to turn down an opportunity to spend time with you.
❥︎ All you need to do is let him know where you need to be, shoot him a text (he only answers your texts let’s be honest), or call him. He’ll finish up whatever it is he’s doing and then he’s on the way to you.
❥︎ When he arrives, Joshua, being the menace he is, he will 100% use a bicycle horn to signal his location to you. It’s fun! Plus, he likes the way your face morphs from momentary confusion to recognition and then happiness and love. You’ll quickly turn your head his way. He swears your face lights up (and makes the sun jobless). The way you smile at him and shoot him a wave while bounding over to him like a little bunny? It warms his heart and makes him giddy.
❥︎ The times he doesn’t use a bicycle horn are the times he either yells out your name or uses the car horn. He does it when you’re in a crowded location, drunk, or when there’s someone flirting with you. You see, in the first two situations, it’s practical to use the car horn. The last one? Oh that’s just him being possessive. He thrives on the disappointment on the other person’s face when they realise you’re taken, and by someone who drives a sleek, well-designed car. Bonus if Joshua gets to get out and pose next to the car while wearing his dark, expensive, sun glasses. He immediately wraps his arm around you and places a kiss on your cheek when you happily run towards him. See that? You’re his.
❥︎ Being Joshua’s passenger princess means you’ll never have to lift a finger right? So that means he’ll open the door for you. If he can, he’ll get off and open the door on your side like a butler gentlemanly boyfriend would. If he can’t get out, he’ll open the passenger side door from his seat. He always tilts his head upwards and looks at you with that adorable crescent shaped eye smile. Always says “Hi darling! How’s my darling today? I’ve missed you~”
❥︎ When you get in the car, he’s taking your bag/ belongings and helping you to store them at the side or in the back seat. He wants you to be comfortable. He’ll also help you with your seatbelt. He wants you to be safe. He refuses to move unless you’re safely belted up. Who cares if he’s holding up traffic. To him, your safety comes first.
❥︎ When you’re both on the road, he’s extra careful of reckless drivers because he doesn’t ever want you to get involved in a car crash. His arm instinctively shoots out across your chest/ torso when he needs to brake the car harder than normal, or when you both drive across some car crash at the side of the road. Your safety is the most important thing to him. It’s basically wired into his brain that he needs to protect you from all these horrible reckless drivers. In the event you really get involved in a minor car crash (eg, a fender bender), Joshua’s first instinct is to ask if you’re okay. The damage to his car, and the exchanging of details with the other driver (if they bothered to stick around) isn’t important. You come first. Always.
❥︎ Moving on from that more serious point. Joshua can and will drive with one hand. He knows the action makes you swoon so he does it on purpose. Also, that means one of his hands is free! Joshua will put one of his hands at the back of your head and lightly stroke your nape. He also likes to either intertwine your hands and have your intertwined hands lay on his thigh, or he likes to have his hands resting on your thigh/ lap. You get the privilege of playing with his fingers and gripping his hand tightly as you continue your journey. He’ll definitely randomly raise your hand to his lips. His eyes never leave the road, so it makes his actions even more attractive.
❥︎ Joshua is definitely the kind who will reverse with one hand with his arm on the passenger side headrest. He like smirking at you when he does that. His actions drive you crazy. You think you’re about to combust every single time.
❥︎ One of the best things about being Joshua’s passenger princess? You get to watch his side profile. His eyes that are intensely concentrating on the road. The curvature of his nose and lips, the way his hair falls down the side of his face, the piercings he always wears on his ears. Oh even the way he might bite his lip in concentration or tilt his head to stretch his neck. Everything about your view is so delicious. You could have the most beautiful scenery outside and nothing could ever compare to the view you have right next to you. Sometimes you get caught staring and the heat rushes up your face. All Joshua can do is chuckle in adoration. You’re sometimes way too cute for your own good.
❥︎ How does he know? Well, although his eyes are locked on the road, he does take momentary glances in your direction. It’s both a conscious and subconscious thing? People normally subconsciously pay attention to their loved ones even if it doesn’t register in their head that they are doing it. But he does look at you consciously to make sure you know he’s still paying attention to your conversation, he wants to ensure you’re feeling okay, and yes, he wants to catch you in the act when you’re literally drooling over him.
❥︎ At red lights, he will shift his body to face yours. This menace. This tease. Sometimes he’ll even lean over to place a kiss on your cheek, or he’ll demand you lean towards him to give him a kiss on the cheek. It leads to him getting horned at but were the kisses worth it? Totally.   ❥︎ I’ve covered a lot here, but you know what the best part about being Joshua’s passenger princess? It’s the fact that you’re Joshua’s passenger princess.

gale's early access dialogue transcripts - part 1: the three tadpole dreams
in early access, the dreams would only happen, if you used your tadpole powers, be that via the conversation options or the skills in your skill bar. much like the guardian now, you could customise your dream visitor. however, before you did so, the game posed a different question to you:
who do you dream of at night?
the question set the tone for the dreams: the dream figure's role wasn't so much protection as it was seduction. seduction to welcome this newfound power and to use it.
Tumblr media
for context, i'd advise you to watch the three tadpole dreams that the protag would have in early access here.
it allows you to get a feeling for what the companions may have seen as origins at that time weren't yet implemented. as far as i know only ast*rion's first dream has been partially datamined.
each companion used to have a specific dream figure that was related to their unique backgrounds - a stark contrast with how it is now, a random figure with no true connection to them, which i think makes very little sense.
gale's dream figure took the form of mystra in early access.
i have compiled the three possible conversations you were able to have with him, following those dreams:
first dream - the first dream would usually happen after you sought your first cure (ie nettie the healer)
Gale: Good morning! And it truly is, isn't it? A very, very good morning. Do you feel as chipper as I do? The night brings council, or so the saying goes, but last night had quite a bit more in store, wouldn't you agree? How's that for feeling better? Tav (Option 1): I see I'm not the only one who woke with new-felt powers? Gale: Hardly. Tav (Option 2): It's remarkable how much better I feel after feeling so sick earlier. Gale: Remarkable - or perhaps we should call it suspicious.  Tav (Option 3): Those are a lot of questions so early in the morning Gale: That's because there's so much to ask. Tav (Option 4): Why don't we skip to the part where we have some breakfast? Gale: Let's settle another appetite first. Gale: There is a glow about you, no doubt about me too. We feel... startling well. And yet there's a certain look in your eyes. The far off distance of a haunting. Which begs yet another question: did you too have such puzzling dreams? Tav (Option 1): Actually my dreams were quite delightful. Gale: Surely not the only adjective that springs to mind. Tav (Option 2): You nod in silence. Gale: Same here. Perhaps. The jury's still out.  Tav (Option 3): Mind your own business, Gale.  Gale: Not a morning person, I see. But those eyes of yours speak volumes. Gale: What I saw surpassed the vivid. The voice was too true, the touch too tantalising, I can tell you felt the same. Sought out in the night by... what? An illusion, or a promise? Tav (Option 1): I don't see the distinction. Gale: An illusion is only a lie, but a promise is a truth that may yet come to pass. Tav (Option 2): It felt more like being prey cornered by a predator. Gale: All too apt an analogy. Tav (Option 3): It was more than a promise: these powers are real.  Gale: You have me there. As for the lure of the touch, the kiss. Gale: Let's agree that at the very least there was the lure of a promise. The touch, the kiss, the everything... Did you relent or resist? Tav (Option 1): I relented. Gale: It felt impossible not to. I did as well.  Tav (Option 2): Lie and say you resisted. Gale: Then you're stronger than me. Tav (Option 3): Lie and say you remained silent. Gale: I could not. I relented. It felt impossible not to. Tav (Option 4): How about you telling me what you did? Gale: I relented. It felt impossible not to. Tav (Option 5): The kiss, you say. Now I know why you're so chipper. Gale: The dream wasn't just about power, it was about desire. Gale: It was an expert, this apparition. First the seduction, then the spurning, then that teasing souvenir. 'You are not ready, I will return when you are'. That's what I was promised. We have some restless nights ahead of us.  Gale: Perhaps it's time indeed. The power to bend wills is a mind flayer speciality. We're the ones who are truly at risk. Power is a treacherous thing. Sometimes it makes you betray yourself. (end)
second dream (would trigger after using tadpole powers)
Tumblr media
Gale: Good morning. I'm sorry, but I'm not in the best of moods. I tire of these dreams. Dreams. The word implies desire, but we're being played for fools. These are nothing but delusions.  Tav (Option 1): What makes you so sure they're delusions? Gale: [Jump to These dreams...] Tav (Option 2): I recall you being a lot more enthusiast after our first collective dream. Gale: I never said I'm not among the fool.  Tav (Option 3): The power we're given is real, and there's no denying that.  Gale: It’s not because they’re real, that they don’t deceive. Give it candy and a child stops asking questions. Gale: These dreams are too good to be true, and I can tell you why. Because they promises are perfect, and in perfection lies their flaw. It's the tadpole reading our every desire, but they don't read between the lines. They don't know some things are impossible. They don't know that... They don't know.  Tav (Option 1): Gale, who is the apparition in your dreams? Gale: She's... It doesn't matter. I just know her to be unreal.  Tav (Option 2): What's impossible about what you're been shown? Gale: Forgiveness. Tav (Option 1): I'll leave you to your ruminations.  Gale:  Remember: these are nothing but delusions. Don't let the illithid's close readings persuade you of good intent.  Tav [if told about Mystra - Loss scene dependent]: So it's Mystra you see. Of course it is.  Gale: I... why, yes. Clearly the tadpole isn't the only one who can read me like a book.  It's indeed Mystra I see. And yet it cannot be her. There was a time when I would have believed - but no longer. I told you that I lost her. Lost her favour and lost so many of the powers I took for granted. What magic I can still weave is met only with undercurrents of disappointing silence. Mystra has not changed her mind about me. That's how I know out dreams are delusions. Tav [Persuasion check, if not told about Mystra - Loss scene has not yet happened]: Come, you can tell me. We're among friends here.  Gale [Success]: Very well. It's Mystra I see. And yet it cannot be her. There was a time when I would have believed - but no longer. Things were different once, between the goddess and me. But things have changed. The parasite has plans for us. Gale: Suffice it to say she would not bestow upon me the favours promised in these dreams. That is how I know they are delusions. The parasite has plans for us, enacted through seduction and the promise of power. Don't be fooled. Behind the lips it wants us to kiss hide cold steel razor teeth. (end) Gale [Failure]: Another time maybe. I've said too much already. Remember, these are nothing but delusions. Don't let the illithid's close readings persuade you of good intent.  Tav (Option 3): If you say so. Now let's get going.  Gale: Very well. (end)
third dream (would trigger after using tadpole powers again)
first variation: the player used the tadpole power
Gale: The dawn broke with glorious streaks of red and fading blues – and I've never felt more tired. More dreams. More visions. Have you finally seen that nothing good can come from using the parasite's powers? Tav (Option 1): I'm sorry. I should have been more careful.   Gale: It's an all too easy mistake to make, but we have to fight the temptation. The parasite  will divide us if we let it... and conquer next. Let's not give the damned thing what it wants. [Gained Approval] (end) - Tav (Option 2): I will exercise my powers as I see fit. It's not your call to make.  Gale: Don't you see? The parasite will divide us if we let it – and conquer next. Clearly we can consider the division accomplished. [Gained Disapproval] (end)
second variation: the player had gale use the tadpole powers
Gale: More dreams. More visions. More the fool me for having used the powers of the parasite again.  Tav (Option 1): Don't be too hard on yourself. When you're given power, it's only natural to exercise it.  Tav (Option 2): Foolishness I did not expect from you. You're putting us all at risk.  Gale: I should have been more cautious. The parasite will divide us if we let it – and conquer next. To make use of its powers was a mistake I don't intend to repeat – that much I can promise. (end)
if you want to watch and listen to gale discussing these dreams with the protag, you can do so here. this youtube video has all three conversations compiled in one.

- Lessons in Japanese Game Design #3 -
Aside from what is easily one of the most stylish presentations in a videogame from the 1990s, one of Front Mission 3′s truly remarkable features consists of an in-game internet browser running within a simulated operating system. Expanding on the concept first rehearsed by Squaresoft in the second entry of the series, this massive component of the game can be accessed during breaks between missions, offering the player access to a number of pages for government entities, enterprises or other institutions. Access to additional websites is permitted as the game progresses.
This inventive solution offers unparalleled insight into the fictional universe of the game, in that it paints a very granular image of a futuristic society, its economy, geopolitical environment and zeitgeist. The information contained in these pages comes in the form of of bulletin boards, institutional updates, press releases, top secret data volumes, or the occasionally amusing curiosity. The user interface itself permits some degree of customisation, such as the option to disable the startup animation - itself a gorgeous visual relic that one hardly tires of watching - or changing the wallpaper pattern. Certain websites will also provide the option to download content, including images which can be set as said wallpaper. Other resources require secure access via the insertion of a password. Moreover, the player will have access to an email inbox to both read and send messages as may be relevant to advance onto the next stage.
Make-believe computer front-ends in video games were no novelty by the year 1999. Several sci-fi adventure, role-playing or action games allowed access to often very believable GUIs for the purpose of, for instance, retrieving precious clues or, say, disabling security locks. Aside from Front Mission 2, Final Fantasy VIII fans will likely remember the exciting Balamb Garden Network terminal. Kowloon's Gate's unforgettable Kownloonet terminals gave access to an email inbox, an all-important database and various other quotidian curiosities that helped fleshing out its mystic sci-fi narrative. The Japanese were privileged to have a complete version of Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere with access to an in-game encyclopedia the player could browse, as well as additional story elements told through email exchanges between the characters.
That same year, the western Tactical RPG sensation from the West, Jagged Alliance 2, dabbled in this idea. Only three short years later, CyberConnect2′s singular .hack series was designed around the idea of a MMORPG that plays offline, allowing for countless interactions with non-playable characters which simulate messaging formats of the era. Other notable examples include the 2chan boards in Steins;Gate or, inescapably, the passionate love letter to web 1.0 that is Hypnospace Outlaw.
Generally, all of the aforementioned titles are either entirely dedicated on a similar concept, or merely resorted to it as a secondary, amusing distraction. Front Mission 3 pioneered the use of this device as a storytelling technique. No other game of the time, at least to my knowledge, had dedicated so much of its resources to producing a credible replica of design and functionality of the internet as it once existed.

The game should be fully playable, but I'm very sure that you might encounter bugs and other weird errors since there were a lot of variables to keep track of. I'm not quite happy with how the Irus scenes turned out, so I will be going back and tweaking and adding in more text to them.
If you do spot a bug or error do let me know either on the game page or here on Tumblr.

#jockposting update 💪
I wrapped up my lifting plan a week earlier than I expected and took the last week off to deload, because it was too much volume to handle while increasing running mileage, and I was just too tight and ache-y all the time and it was So Much. Still pretty happy with it though!
My bench press progress especially went GREAT, I’m at 5x3 @ 36kg (estimated 38kg 1-Rep Max) and that’s pretty cool after not benching for, like, a year and a half. Squat is okay (estimated 60kg 1RM, started back at 5x3 @ 35kg back in August) and my deadlift could be so much better but I think my constantly sore hamstrings and limited mobility did me no favours with that.
New Program! Current main goals are 1) bench press and 2) lower body mobility.
I think I have some more linear gains left in me before I plateau, so I switched to another beginner program – a combo of Greg Nuckols’s SBS 28 plans bundle, which are easy to customise and also IME pretty effective. They're meant to be mixed-n-matched, so I did just that, and my current plan is something like:
A Day: Core + warmup; Bench Press; Squat; Back; Lower body accessories – low weight or bodyweight with an emphasis on mobility.
B Day: Core + warmup. Bench Press. Deadlift. Back. Posterior chain accessories – low weight or bodyweight with an emphasis on mobility.
C Day: Core + warmup. Bench Press. Upper body accessories. Back. Weighted core work.
I’m starting a half marathon training plan in a couple of weeks so hopefully this will help keep me injury-free and also finally help me break through that invisible ceiling of benching 40kg for reps.
[for context: Greg Nuckols is a powerlifter who has a website and a podcast called Stronger by Science where he is a nerd about lifting and sports in general so naturally I love it.]

So, how about that Baldur’s Gate Three?
I have recently started playing as Kosh. Way of Shadows Tiefling Monk and I have him some stubble because my story was he got abducted out of Waterdeep whilst on his Birthday Bender.
So in the order of things:
Rescued Shadowheart because not a cruel Teufel
Acquired the raging flaming poisoning sword of doom Super Sword from Mr Big Demon and none of the party can use it fml
Didn’t ask too many questions about Shadowheart’s doohickey
Found, got accosted by, and headbutted Astarion
Got wizard out of stone
In the process of acquiring Withers, I also found several volumes of how to determine if someone in your party is a Vampire
Blue horny chaos gremlin READS it, and then gives a copy to everyone
Got Withers.
That night, at camp, Astarion FUCKS OFF, preferring the sweet fat of the hog to nomming on my gorgeous lad. Boo, Astarion. Booo!
Next day, find the dead, drained pig
Astarion cracks a shit about my usual habit of looting everything and asking questions later
VERY loudly begs me not to look too hard (could you be any more obvious about it, my dude?)
So I ask him about it because CHAOS GREMLIN
Turns out the pale angsty twink is just as good at using parts of the truth as my boi
Hmmm
I shall have to flirt with him harder >:3c
Thoughts and feels:
* No chest hair choices
* No back hair choices either
* It’s not fair that only the Dragonborn get tail customisation
* I’m really hoping for a whole “I’ve been waiting for you to kill me about it” type scene in combination with an entire, “Was the pig enough for you?” questioning line next chat opportunity.
Now who wants screencaps of my lad?
Oh yes and we got the doggo too.

I love how customisable our characters are, and that every play through is different.
My favourite scene so far has got to be Rosie’s BFF scene, it’s so fluffy! :D
Honestly the thing I’m looking forward to the most is exploring all the story worlds. They sound amazing.
You are doing a fantastic job :D
Make sure to hydrate!
Hehe, Roselyna's BFF scene is my favorite too.
And yup, I cant wait to start writing the story worlds too, but unfortunately I have to finish Volume 1. Of course, you can read IAC to get a sneak peek on some of the story worlds, if you don't mind the spoilers (and haven't done so already).
And thanks for the reminder! 😄

Personalised Marketing's Future: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence's Power
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is playing a more and bigger part in the ever changing marketing scene. As technology develops, too does our capacity to use AI to create customized marketing campaigns. This paradigm shift, which offers a level of customisation and precision that was previously unthinkable, is changing the way organizations interact with their target audience. We'll look at how artificial intelligence developments will affect tailored marketing in the future in this blog.
Tumblr media
Data analysis is one of the main ways AI is transforming personalized marketing. Customers generate a lot of data when they interact with digital platforms; this data includes purchase history, online behavior, and preferences. This data can be processed and analyzed by AI algorithms at a speed never seen before, providing valuable insights that human marketers might miss. Businesses can provide a more engaging and personalized experience by customizing their marketing efforts to individual preferences by gaining a detailed understanding of consumer behavior.
A subset of artificial intelligence called machine learning is essential to improving the personalisation of marketing campaigns. Marketers can anticipate the needs and desires of their target audience by using algorithms, which can learn from past encounters and predict future behavior. For example, machine learning-powered recommendation engines can make content or product recommendations based on a user's previous interactions, making the user experience more pleasurable and personalized.
Tumblr media
Another aspect of AI that is changing targeted marketing is chatbots and virtual assistants. These AI-powered companies are able to interact with clients in real time, responding to their questions right away and making tailored recommendations. This improves client happiness while also allowing companies to collect additional information about personal preferences, which helps them develop a more sophisticated understanding of their target market.
The potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in customized marketing has been further enhanced by developments in natural language processing (NLP). Businesses may now analyze client comments, social media interactions, and reviews on a massive scale thanks to natural language processing (NLP). Through sentiment analysis and the extraction of insightful information from unstructured data, companies can improve the resonance of their marketing campaigns with their target market.
Tumblr media
Another revolutionary development in personalized marketing is the emergence of AI-powered predictive analytics. Using past data, predictive analytics makes predictions about future patterns and behaviors. Marketers can utilize this data to customize their campaigns and make sure they are current and relevant. By taking a proactive stance, companies can remain ahead of the curve and provide their audience with tailored content even before they ask for it.
But the use of AI in tailored marketing does bring up some ethical issues, especially with regard to data protection. In order to establish and preserve customer trust, there is an increasing need for strong privacy laws and open procedures as companies gather and use enormous volumes of personal data.
Tumblr media
In summary, there is no denying that the future of customized marketing is closely linked to the swift progress being made in artificial intelligence. AI provides firms with a wide range of tools to develop more individualized and effective marketing efforts, from chatbots and predictive analytics to data analysis and machine learning. There are enormous potential benefits, but there are ethical considerations that need to be properly considered. With companies continuing to adopt and improve these technologies, the era of truly personalized marketing is drawing near, offering customers a more customized and engaging experience.

@impishsensei asked : five times happy 😊
i.
After putting the chore off for days, it had eventually gotten to a point where it was impossible to ignore ; Yuuji almost felt as though the single, last cardboard box with his belongings was staring at him from the corner of his dorm, begging to be unpacked. The teenager glanced at it over the brim of his phone, laying on his bed and scrolling mindlessly through TikTok.
He sighed, groaned in the way one would after being told to do something they know they are meant to do, slung his legs off his bed and got up to unpack the rest of his things.
It wasn’t even a lot : a couple t-shirts, a pair of sweatpants, more socks and boxers, a beige hoodie, some manga volumes and magazines, a pin up calendar from last year but he liked the posters in it, and a bunch of other random stuff. He didn’t own much, really, and this was all he had left to put away.
The clothes were already folded, so he easily put all of that away. The hoodie he hanged in the rack with all his other ones, right next to his uniform, and the boy stopped for a moment when his eyes laid on the red hoodie of his uniform.
Gojo-sensei had had it customised for him, and he hadn’t given it much thought after receiving it. But now as he looked at it, tucked away in his closet with all his other hoodies, Yuuji tilted his head to a side slightly as the cogs in his head began to turn.
Over the past days in class, around the school and out on missions, he had started to realise how much his teacher saw, noticed, took away from everything. How much he cared, too, despite pretending not to. That much he knew since the beginning, of course, since he had basically spared him his life and helped him getting in and accustomed to, well, everything. But he had started to notice his care seep through other gestures.
Like his uniform, now that he thought about it.
Gojo-sensei had seen him wearing nothing but, and for a moment Yuuji thought, wondered, if perhaps that had been a way for his sensei to make sure he felt more comfortable, more familiar in this new life he was so harshly being plunged into. A uniform like something he usually wore and was comfortable in.
Yuuji’s lips stretched into a smile, and he made a mental note to properly thank his teacher next time he saw him.
ii.
It wasn’t lost on anyone how far behind Yuuji was from everybody else. Which was to an extent normal, given how everything had passed so fast and, in a blur, he was sentenced to death and pushed into this new world of exorcising curses and, well, the rest was history.
He didn’t know all of the technicalities of sorcery, didn’t know how it all worked. He didn’t have a curse technique of his own, and didn’t really know how to fight and exorcise. He knew his classmates had a lot more practise than him, had been a part of this for way longer than he had, but sometimes he couldn’t help but feel the weight of it all ; like he’d fall through that colossal gap between him and his friends.
And with the way Yuuji wore his heart on his sleeve toppled by the amount of trust he had for his sensei, it didn’t bother the boy being truthful when his teacher walked into the room and pointed out the rancid vibes.
The conversation was deep, all the while Yuuji absentmindedly cuddled the sleepy cursed corpse in his arms. He felt lighter voicing his woes, and even more so when Gojo, the strongest of them all, placed his hand on his shoulder and he could feel the reassuring touch instead of an infinite space pushing against him.
After his shoulder got squeezed, his hair ruffled and his worries calmed, a warmth spread across Yuuji’s chest and the conversation took a much more light-hearted turn ; laughs were shared, and, even after getting punched in the face by the cursed corpse waking up from the sudden emotion emanating off the teenager, in that moment Yuuji truly felt like he could catch up.
iii.
« Why not ? It’s not like it’s actually about me, it’s just funny, » Yuuji tilted his head, not unlike a confused puppy. Wasn’t music all about evoking feelings on others ? And if his lyrics could make someone laugh, wouldn’t that be then a successful song ?
But Gojo-sensei wasn’t having any of it, saying he needed to make himself sound cool instead.
« Talk about money and getting bitches, Yuuji. Even if you don’t, just like you didn’t actually poop without wiping. I hope… » A pause, and the taller man sighed. « Just sit back, listen and learn. »
Yuuji looked at his teacher expectantly, not knowing that when he was his age, he, too, tormented his friends with stupid bars.
After a dramatic stretch of his muscles and a loud clearing of his throat, Gojo-sensei began :
« Coming down on the strip, liquor in the whip Parking lot pimp, enough game to be sold Learn from me, fuck bitches, burn money Someone told me boy you got your whole life to get old But everything that glitter ain't gold The grass ain't greener, I've been told She told me, "Boy you want your cake and eat it too?" I said "It's cake, that's what you're supposed to do?" »
Perplexed, Yuuji blinked a couple of times in silence before bursting out laughing. Those were some good lines, but that cake part really took the student by surprise.
« What ? It’s good ! »
But the teenager kept laughing, and once he finally caught his breath, his voice came out as a squeak.
« Eat the cake— »
« See ? That’s what I’m talking about. I’m not the best teacher for nothing ! »
But Yuuji couldn’t stop thinking about what else you’re supposed to do with a cake but eat it ? That was a great bar. He kept laughing until a little tear squeezed out his eye, and the thought struck him that he was very, very happy to have Gojo as his teacher.
iv.
Sometimes it was easy to forget just how rich Gojo-sensei truly was. Maybe it was due to that association in his head that rich people were ultimately selfish, pretentious and distant, and his teacher was anything but. He was indulgent, fun and approachable. He always played along and was, at the same time, one of the most reliable figures Yuuji had ever had in his life.
That was probably why he forgot about it, as well as the fact that the teenager really wasn’t into fashion or anything of the sorts, so he had absolutely no idea how expensive his teacher’s designer clothes were. Talk about pretentious ; Yuuji was simply clueless.
What he did know all about, however, was kicks. Yuuji had mentioned plenty of times just how bad he wanted a pair of Air Jordan 1 since they were the closest to his real dream kicks : the original 1985 Chicago Jordans. At the same time, though, he was torn because as much as the new, ‘retro’ ones were the closest to the discontinued originals, he just didn’t love the colours they came in. He and Kugisaki had looked at the bids on the original ones, and Yuuji had resigned himself to the ‘retro’ ones. His friend, of course, had very kindly told him he had to resign to neither since he wouldn’t be able to afford even the cheap copies. And she was right, but a man could dream !
So, naturally, Yuuji’s eyes almost bugged out of their sockets when he next opened Gojo-sensei’s gift for his birthday. He had been laughing with everyone as he opened his presents, but the sight of the original 1985 Chicago Jordans laid neatly in the box shocked him silent. He would recognise these shoes blind, in death, even.
Slowly his grin returned to his face along with an excited scream when he remembered to breathe, and the boy looked between his gift and his teacher a couple of times before jumping onto his feet and throwing himself at the taller man.
Genuinely Yuuji felt like the excitement was about to snap every muscle fiver in his body. He wrapped both legs and arms around his teacher like a koala, and scream thanked him over and over before turning around to yell at Kugisaki to stay away from his new shoes.
v.
They were three versus one. Yuuji would argue they were, in fact, four versus one, but Fushiguro insisted his divine dog didn’t actually count as a player. A whole team of four three, and still they couldn’t manage to land a single point.
On the other side of the net stood Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer — and apparently the biggest of cheaters when it came to playing volley ball at the beach —, with that shit-eating grin of his that was much more annoying than the sweat dripping into his eyes and making them burn.
« You call yourselves my students like that ? » Their sensei teased, and even a blind man would have been able to tell he was grinning from the sound of it in his voice.
« If you teleport one more time towards the ball—… » Yuuji heard Kugisaki start, but he didn’t hear the rest of it when he took a moment to wipe the sweat off his eyes with the back of his forearm, making it much worse from the sweat on his skin mixed up oily with the sun cream.
« My eyes ! » he cried, squeezing them shut and folding over.
A concerned snout pressed up against his leg before he felt a hand lightly touch his back to get his attention, and with his free one Fushiguro poured water from a bottle in his eyes, instructing him to be careful with a voice that was meant to reprimand him but was as concerned as the soft whimper of the dog licking his leg.
In the distance Gojo-sensei’s outburst of laughter stopped abruptly after the distinctive sound of a coconut cracking open, or in this case, Kugisaki slamming the volleyball into their teacher’s head.
After that, the rest of the day had been pretty uneventful. They had all gone together for dinner at a restaurant with a big terrace facing the beach, and went on one last stroll whilst Gojo talked to a supervisor before they headed back to Tokyo.
Yuuji tried to capture the strokes of purple and crimson in the golden sky on his phone, bare feet sinking into the soft sand with every step. He turned around, snapped another photo of his friends a small distance ahead of him, silhouettes dark from the brightness of the flaming sky, and he saw them turn their heads his way at the same time he heard Gojo’s voice calling out for them.
They hurried over back to the wooden deck and whilst they put they shoes back on to head back to the station, their teacher pulled out a box of ice lollies out of his bag.
They all got one each, even Totality got a frosty lolli-pup, and walking together with sun kissed cheeks, new freckles across their noses and hearty laughs on their bellies, Yuuji felt very thankful to Gojo-sensei for having taken them along to the beach in his mission to Ishigaki.
Later when he would slip into his bed, fresh from a shower and skin still hot from the sun, the teenager wouldn’t have been able to recall the last time he had so much fun with people he cared so deeply for.

What Are Cosmetic Injectables and How Can They Enhance Your Beauty in Gymea
In the world of aesthetics and beauty, the desire to achieve a youthful, vibrant appearance is a common goal for many individuals. While there are various ways to enhance one's beauty, cosmetic injectables have gained popularity as a non-surgical, minimally invasive solution to address a range of concerns. If you're in Gymea and curious about how cosmetic injectables can enhance your beauty, this blog provides insights and information.
Tumblr media
Understanding Cosmetic Injectables
Cosmetic injectables refer to non-surgical treatments that involve injecting substances into the skin to improve or enhance one's appearance. These substances can include neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and other biocompatible materials. The primary types of cosmetic injectables used in Gymea include:
1. Neurotoxins: These are used to relax muscles that cause dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet. By inhibiting muscle contractions, they help reduce the appearance of these wrinkles.
2. Dermal Fillers: Dermal fillers consist of substances like hyaluronic acid or collagen, which add volume to specific face areas. They smooth out lines and wrinkles, enhance lips, and restore facial contours.
3. Sculptra: Sculptra is a collagen stimulator that promotes the body's natural collagen production. It's used to improve skin quality and increase volume over time.
How Cosmetic Injectables Can Enhance Your Beauty
Cosmetic injectables offer a wide range of benefits that can enhance your beauty in Gymea:
1. Wrinkle Reduction: Neurotoxins like Botox can effectively reduce dynamic wrinkles, making your skin look smoother and more youthful.
2. Volume Restoration: Dermal fillers can replenish lost volume in the cheeks, lips, and under the eyes, creating a rejuvenated and lifted appearance.
3. Natural-Looking Results: When administered by a skilled practitioner, cosmetic injectables provide natural-looking results without the need for surgery.
4. Minimally Invasive: Cosmetic injectables are non-surgical, requiring minimal downtime and avoiding the risks associated with surgery.
5. Customisation: Treatments can be tailored to your specific concerns and goals, ensuring you achieve the desired look.
6. Quick and Convenient: Most injectable procedures are relatively quick, often taking less than an hour, making them suitable for those with busy schedules.
7. Long-Lasting Results: While the longevity of results varies depending on the type of injectable, it may last several months or even up to a year or more.
8. Boost in Confidence: Enhancing your appearance can lead to increased self-confidence, helping you feel more comfortable and self-assured in your daily life.
Choosing a Qualified Provider in Gymea
To ensure the best results and safety when considering cosmetic injectables, choosing a qualified and experienced provider in Gymea is crucial. Look for the following when selecting a practitioner:
Certification and Licensing: Ensure they are licensed and certified to perform these procedures.
Reputation: Research their reputation through reviews, testimonials, and recommendations from previous clients.
Consultation: The provider should offer a thorough consultation, discussing your goals and concerns and creating a customised treatment plan.
Hygiene and Safety: Verify that the facility adheres to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
Transparency: Your provider should be transparent about the procedure, potential risks, and costs.
In summary, cosmetic injectables have revolutionised the beauty industry, offering a safe and effective way to enhance your appearance without surgery. If you want to improve your beauty in Gymea, consult a qualified provider to explore the options available and create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. [Review] Maneater (PS5)
Tumblr media
The evolution of the shark game.
This recent indie hit is a great counterpoint to the Jaws games I’ve played lately, a modernisation of the concept in more ways than one. While those games necessarily traded on the beats of the vintage thriller film, this one borrows the aesthetic of sensationalist “shark week” documentaries, while updating the structure to a free-roaming open zone.
Like the Jaws games, the inspiration is mostly a framing device for violent shark action and adventure. The promo art gives the impression of gory realism but in practice it’s pretty cartoony which was a relief. The goofy landmarks and super powered mutations lighten the tone while the ever-present cheesy narration blunders over the line of obnoxiousness in delivering satirical one-liners.
Tumblr media
The story, such as it is, involves an unpleasant fisherman who brutalises a baby shark for sport. You embody that shark as she grows and eats her way up the food chain to get revenge. Starting as a wee pup from her mother’s womb untimely ripped (which educated me on the fact of bull sharks’ viviparity), you level up while using the different resource points gained from eating particular fish and such to upgrade perks which affect your appearance and abilities. By the end you’ll be a mega-predator spitting electric shocks from your bite while leaving poison clouds in your wake or corkscrewing in bony armour plating.
I liked the customisation and gradual enhancement, as expressed and enabled by the side activities in each area. There’s collectibles to chomp and side missions all over the place, mostly eating a certain number of the abundant marine creatures or taking down boats. The control scheme is pretty different to what I’d played immediately before but I found myself quickly adapting to it; cruising around feels good and combat, while frantic, is coherent enough and well handled. A powerful if biologically impossible sonar helps you find things easily in the game world and later can be adapted as a combat technique.
Tumblr media
The game world encompasses a number of distinct locations in an American setting adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico. You start in a muddy bayou, moving to a polluted river, a canal-heavy golf course, then some coastal areas and the expanse of the gulf. They’re vibrant, full of life and detail, and for the most part they stand out from each other which is nice, although the game is maybe a little too heavy on coloured light shaders. There’s also grates that block access to caves and pipe systems if you’re too small, to encourage revisiting earlier zones.
The DLC adds a new zone and new postgame quests in the rest of the game world too, along with a new form that can blast atomic fire and an extra perk slot. The new content includes races, battles against other mutant creatures, and a greater emphasis on the projectile attack (bite an object then tail whip it at a target), the latter reminding me of Jaws Unleashed and its barrel-spitting (unfortunately not my favourite mechanic).
Tumblr media
It’s a nice addition that’s worth getting, although it has its downsides. The framing device changes at this point, with the narrator becoming a right-wing conspiracy nut podcaster and the setting referencing a lot of popular conspiracy theories. The narration permanently changes for the base game world as well, and being accompanied by the constant and repeated unpleasantness of borderline actual racist dogwhistles is a very questionable choice. It’s supposed to be over the top and satirical but there are real popular platforms who spout crap as outlandish and harmful as this in reality (and even people who believe it), so it doesn’t really work as comedy. Luckily, you can adjust the volume of narration independently [to zero].
Comparing Maneater to its Jaws forebears… its Jawbears… really showed me how more advanced hardware technology can enrich a game experience. The underwater areas feel good to explore because they’re so populated, the world is big and seamless, and the shark controls well; getting these basics right makes the loop more engaging. Beyond that there’s some iffy stuff and the whole framing device and story didn’t really work for me, but on the whole this acquits itself well as an aquatic adventure.

Book Backlog Busting Reading Challenge!
Sadly not a lot to report in this update; I had such a busy week that I didn't get a chance to finish any books, although I have been continuing to read daily and hope to be able to show off some new volumes next week.
But since I don't have books to talk about, I decided it would be fun to show you guys the app that got me back into reading: StoryGraph!
Tumblr media
Storygraph allows you to track the number of books you've read in a year, set reading goals, join reading challenges, and even track your progress through each individual book, providing extremely valuable The Numbers Go Up motivation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They recently introduced a feature allowing you to track a reading streak, which is very helpfully customisable for those who don't have much time for reading: I've set my goal to at least one page per day, but you can set weekly or monthly goals and track streaks that way!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Storygraph also allows you to organise your reading, allowing you to mark up to five books as "up next" and putting them at the top of your To-Read Pile, where they're easily found - obviously invaluable for me in a challenge like this, or anyone else with a lot of books in the backlog!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The app can also give you a variety of statistics about your reading choices, for those of you who love data and pretty graphs (ME!!!) - I included a few favourites here.
Worth stressing that, whilst there is a Storygraph Plus which you can pay for and has additional features, everything I have described in this post is COMPLETELY FREE. No ads either, unless you count opportunities to participate in book giveaways as advertising. I don't have the paid version but I have been considering getting it because I love the functionality of this app and how much it has helped to keep me focused on reading.
I love it so much that I recommend it to everyone I know, and now I'm also recommending it to tumblr, lol.
104 books remaining!

Top 3 industries that benefit most from data analytics
Introduction:
In today's data-driven world, businesses across various industries are harnessing the power of data analytics to gain valuable insights and make informed decisions. Data analytics services and solutions have become integral for organizations to thrive and stay ahead of the competition. In this blog, we will explore the top three industries that benefit the most from data analytics and how it revolutionizes their operations.
Healthcare Industry:
By offering practical insights for improved patient care, cost containment, and operational efficiency, data analytics has completely changed the healthcare sector. Healthcare providers can examine vast volumes of patient data to find patterns, forecast disease outbreaks, and improve treatment strategies with the use of powerful data analytics systems. It makes personalised treatment possible, improves clinical judgement, and enhances patient outcomes. Additionally, fraud detection, reducing billing errors, and raising overall healthcare quality all benefit greatly from data analytics.
Retail Industry:
Data analytics services have been adopted by the retail sector to provide it a competitive edge in a very dynamic market. Retailers can customise their marketing campaigns, improve inventory management, and improve consumer experiences by analysing customer data, buying tendencies, and market trends. Retailers can comprehend customer preferences, predict demand, and set prices based on data thanks to data analytics tools. Additionally, it aids in supply chain optimisation, fraud detection, and layout optimisation for improved consumer flow in stores.
Financial Services Industry:
By making fraud detection, risk assessment, and personalised financial advice more accurate, data analytics has completely transformed the financial services sector. Institutions can identify possible hazards, spot fraudulent activity, and stop financial crimes by analysing vast amounts of financial data. In addition, credit scoring, investment portfolio management, and client segmentation all greatly benefit from the use of data analytics tools. Additionally, it aids financial firms in upholding data security and regulatory compliance.
Conclusion:
For many industries, data analytics solutions have become game-changers. While the retail sector obtains knowledge for targeted marketing and enhanced inventory management, the healthcare sector gains from increased patient care and operational efficiency. Data analytics ensures risk reduction and individualised financial services in the financial services industry. These sectors must keep using the power of data analytics to generate new opportunities and spur innovation as data keeps expanding exponentially. Organisations can stay ahead of the competition and make data-driven decisions that support success by utilising the possibilities of data analytics.

What should I look for in an ERP solution
Everyone says that they have an ERP solution at a wide range of price points. How do I choose one for my SME
Longevity
Check if the ERP solution would meet your requirement 5 years from now when you grow say 5X, add new manufacturing locations, add different lines of business. ERPs not only need to address the growth volume of your business but need to adapt to the business process changes required as you grow.
How easy it is to use
Can your average user learn and adapt easily, this is more relevant for SME organizations trying to embrace ERPs , as they are not in a position to employ specially trained skills for ERP implementation or operations. Your cloud ERP should be intuitive to use and as simple and easy as an e-commerce website. Make sure that the user experience is simple and follows the typical standards of any web application.
A SaaS model helps
A SaaS based ERP allows you to start with very low opex costs and minimal investment. Your opex increases as your business grows and you have a more rational approach towards investment in technology.
What about open source
One major advantage of open source solutions is that there is no license cost to acquire it. Other than that, open source solutions really don't provide any additional benefits to the end customer, most of whom would like to concentrate on their business, rather than trying to change or modify the source code. Secondly since it is open source, support and feature enhancements are driven by the community and the community should be as eager as you to add a feature .
Check the total cost of ownership of open source solutions.
1.Requirement understanding costs
2.License costs
3.Hosting or cloud costs and all the licenses required to run the open source
4.Support costs
5.Cost and reliability of making changes in the solution
The connected EcoSystem
Organizations need to leverage on the connected ecosystem. Does your ERP provide open and easy connectivity to marketplaces, statutory bodies, vendor and customer systems, banks and financial intermediaries. Does it have the capability to provide APIs for easy and quick integration and implementation.
What about AI in ERP?
A number of ERP vendors have started incorporating AI in their ERP solutions, and most of them are Cloud ERP providers. It is impossible to incorporate the infrastructure required for AI on an stand alone ERP system, the costs become prohibitive. Cloud ERPs can build AI capabilities leveraging the cloud infrastructure and share the same infrastructure with all the users.
There are already a number of use cases where AI can be used in an ERP, for instance read unstructured documents / emails using AI and convert them to Sales orders, Expenses, GRN in the ERP. Flag transactions which seem irregular by nature, detect fraud or suspicious transaction, increase planning accuracy using AI, continuous auditing, realtime evaluation of your business partners and Ai driven business analytics and Insights
To conclude
Though most ERP vendors will try and match your requirement document either "out of the box" or by so called "minor" customisation, you need to look beyond the current requirements and ensure that your ERP vendor has a track record of adapting and leveraging trends in technology so that you will be able to stay ahead in the future.
