This is the Lamb. They do not remember any other name. They have an uncomfortably blotchy memory of their past before their execution. Their cult is their new Flock. They try to ignore the fact that they are the last lamb, and that they’re not really a lamb anymore. They are entirely devoted to The One Who Waits, who gave them a second chance. They despise the Bishops with a burning passion. They don’t like how angry this has made them. They fell in love, and learned how to let go. They do not fear death, but they’re terrified of being forgotten. They frequently visit Ratau and his friends, and sees them all as their family. They envy their past self. They want to learn how to give second chances.

Some (barely-coherent) HCs surrounding Ratoo's old lover/the former lighthouse leader

She and the Lighthouse Keeper are fraternal twins

She made a deal with the Fox (the Teeth in the Darkness) out of her and Ratoo's shared desire to escape the terrifying Lands of the Old Faith and head to somewhere without so much death and madness

The Fox had offered to lend the couple a hand in leaving, in his own way, and Ratoo's heart would be the compensation (or something. I haven't had much thought on this aspect)

Ratau only found out at the last minute. He tried to intervene, but it was too late by then

What is your analysis and interpretation of Lamb’s character? How do you see them from the game story to your AU?

Mhh...

To my AU we have a Lamb that for most of their younghood has been living in a warm community of sheep over the edge of the Lands until a raid happen and witnessed all of them being killed. They had their innocence, as well as all what was important to them being taken away. They were scared and hopeless.

Until they were called in by The One who Waits. As he offered the crown, Lamb had gained a spark of hope the maybe at the end they could have their kind back. They were grateful for the opportunity of having life back again and for it to have a meaning. Not to say that starting a Cult was that easy, fortunately they had Ratau's guidance back then. They were genuinely happy to build a shelter for animals who were looking for a new place to live in and hoped to build a community as warm as their own, but much different was when they were on crusades, they mastered the art of weaponry and became a cold, merciless killer against the heretics who took everything away from them. Even The One who Waits was aware of their coldness when summoned to him.

Months passed. Years passed. Decades passed. Lamb became a beloved leader oh their humble and ever growing cult, but within them they felt more and more lonely, as they watched people coming and dying, unable to create everlasting bounds of friendship or relationships alike. Their genuine smile was replace by a facade. Their only recurring acquitances being their mentor every once in a while, and their Lord.

When the moment of freeing The One who Waits finally arrived, Lamb was doubtful wether requesting the resurrection of their kind, but every hope they had was crushed as their Lord requested their sacrifice for his freedom. Accepting the fact that their God wasn't any different than his siblings, they challenge him and the fighting ensues. Lamb in the end wins over The One who Waits, now Narinder, and over deciding to take revenge, they decided to spare him. After all he was the only living being left in the wole ordeal who could understand them. Of course they kept distance from them as long as possible without interacting with Narinder at all, just observing from afar his adjustments to mortal life (and freedom), but not without a punishment first.

Very long time passed, however it did not heal both of their wounds. Both of them started regretting their life choices. Lamb wanted to live, to have their family back but had no idea how to use their power to its fullest. Narinder calmed down eventually and realized that in his freedom was feeling empty without his family. They were alone, but in loneliness, at least they had each other.

Their healing was slow, few hundreds of years passed. Both of them had scars and that became a catalyst for an eventual change of conversation. Their conversation added more and more to the mix, and the duo found comfort in talking to each other. As they opened up more, Lamb's smile around Narinder became more real. They felt less lonely with him around, as they had hoped.

And in the end they ended up as having more than a unlikely friendship. Lamb shows their real feelings around Narinder and vice versa. They know whatever is going to face them, they know they're not alone anymore.

however, the seed of doubt blossoms deep within them...

And that will lead to consequences.

I have a few questions if you don’t mind answering them.

1. What does the lamb do while the false prophet runs the cult do they hide somewhere or are they apart of the cult as well.

2. Is the lamb immortal or at the very least not age.

3. Are the prophet and the lamb close friends.

4. Does the false prophet bring back the old gods and give them a second chance.

Putting these questions together because they are all about where The Lamb is and what are they doing while the false prophet leads the cult.

1.- Where's the Lamb?

Although they had to wait a bit to not alert Ratau, the lamb was the "second follower" to enter the cult. Part of the deal was to offer protection and a peaceful life in exchange for the crown, so what was safer than the cult's ground?

2.- Is the lamb immortal or at the very least not age?

Anon here is pretty close to what my interpretation is. Although it was for a fairly short period, the lamb was a bearer of the red crown, they were revived with its power to be exact and for this reason, they can only die in specifics circumstances (such as the crusades). Do they age? Yes, but at a pace so abysmally slow that they can be considered immortal.

*This is also my explanation as to why Ratau is alive (and can only die by sacrificing him to the Fox).

3. Are the prophet and the lamb close friends? + No one notice there are 2 lambs?

When you have been living with another immortal for so many years, it's impossible not to generate a bond. Although this started more as a "guardian-protege" relationship of sorts, when both were more comfortable in their own skin (lol) it was quite easy to end up as "partners in crime". Although the Lamb respects the Prophet as the leader of the cult, there is no real hierarchy between them, since their inclusion in the cult was due to the deal they made, not as a follower of the Prophet's word. The Lamb follow because they want to, with no duty involve in that decision.

And to answer the second question, whenever doubt arises in the cult, the leader gives a different answer. In the end, it's practically an inside joke and everyone pays attention when someone new dares to ask, just to be able to hear what answer the prophet will give.

Follower, confused/threatened tone: " Lamb..is he...Is he mad at me? " Points at a glaring Narinder

Lamb, unchanging flat tone: " oh that's just his resting face. "

Aym, laying in bed while sick: "narinder, NARINDER!"

Narinder, folding clothes: " Hm? "

Aym, now with their hands in the air: "GET ME ANOTHER BLANKET! "

Narinder, now turned and glaring at Aym: "You have a fever of 102 I'm not getting you another blanket."

Aym, who has a hand on their forehead dramatically: "WAAAAGHHH.."

Lamb, looking straight at Ratau: "Dad I don't know how old I am."

Ratau, pauses briefly before he speaks:"My bet is on 16.."

Lamb, deep in thought: " I've definitely been a cult leader longer than 6 years"

Ratau, now on his wits end: "Eighteen?..."

Lamb, suddenly remembers something: " OH WAIT, I kept a calendar for every year in the cult! "

The Lamb grabs a STACK of calendars and their face contorts into horror

Lamb, now looking down at the stack with absolute fear in their eyes: "dad I'm 29 in human years so I'm.. ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY EIGHT IN SHEEP YEARS."

Ratau, now in slight shock:" Im older son. "

Lamb, now having a smug look on their face: " you're probably in the four digits by now. "

Ratau, with an exaggerated shocked expression: “I’m only in the three digits!”

Lamb, holding back laughs: " okay where like 999? "

Ratau, still being dramatic: “967!”

Lamb starts counting mentally, then snickers when they hear Ratau's age in rat years: " dad in rat years your ..11760"

Ratau, jaw dropped: "..."

How did Lamb feel about:

Clauneck - Miss them every day. One of few I considered a friend. They were truly a great help on my journey.

Helob - Same as Clauneck, maybe even more so. Helob was very helpful and I enjoyed their personality and their presence. Lovely dinner parties.

Sozo - Don't care. They gave me the Brainwashing ritual then died, I got all that was useful out of them.

Ratau - Also don't care. A good tutorial, yes, but not one to get attached to. Totally worth sacrificing them to Fox.

Ratoo - I care even less than Ratau.

Fox - A respectable businessanimal and quite polite.

Midas - Die.

Monch - I feel like I would have liked them quite a bit if I saw them more.

Forneus - Yada yada, you lost your children, blah blah blah, give me a damn gift and go away.

Rakshasa - Oh, were they ever so fun to traumatise. Free food for life 😊🤍

Kudaai - A good person, occasionally helpful, I don't care about them as much as Clauneck.

Chemach - Quite the oddball, but always has some useful relics and bags of meat.

Aym - Quite an attitude on that one. Very happy I put him in his place.

Baal - Rather cute how they tried to be intimidating with their soft nature and mediocre fighting skills.

Agent of Chaos AU lineup Pt 2: Court of The Red Crown (Pt 2)

Alrighty the second half of Nari’s court is done!

Witness Lambert is Narinder’s most loyal follower (next to Aym and Ball of course). Lambert is the leader of a Red Crown cult in the living world and is the only mortal who can travel between the living and afterlife. In this AU the sheep primarily follow Nari.

Forneus has stayed pretty much the same. There aren’t really any notable changes.

Ratau is also mostly the same as well.

And I just wanted to draw what follower souls looked like in the afterlife so yeah! Not a whole lot of lore for this one...

When I read this rivalry this is what I imagined.

You are one of The Lamb's many followers, their favorite actually.

Your life has been with their cult since they "saved" you.

Your leader, The Lamb, is very charismatic with that Red Crown on their head.

You listen to their teachings in great faith, attending every sermon and praise them with every breath.

You thought the skull necklace they gave you was a divine gift from your leader, completely unaware of its properties.

You have no idea The Lamb is pulling wool over your eyes and manipulating you heavily.

You feel so lucky to be chosen by them for a marriage ritual.

You have no idea The Lamb is manipulating you into their perfect little spouse all because they love you.

You're unaware of any danger, you just trust your leader and spouse with your life.

You have no idea The Fox is watching you at night from the outskirts of the cult.

The Fox's love is easily interchangeable with hunger when it comes to him.

He watches you with salivating jaws as you rest and The Lamb cleans.

The Lamb knows of The Fox... in fact, they've often made deals.

To get rid of rivals The Lamb has offered their meat to the hungry Fox, he's a method of disposing the evidence.

While The Fox enjoys these deals and feasts on the problematic followers greedily...

The Fox's hunger soon can only be satiated by one thing.

You, The Lamb's chosen spouse.

"Little Lamb..." The Fox coos "You could pick another partner, couldn't you? They are the final thing I want... then I will give you something in return."

The Lamb of course refuses such a request.

They've worked hard to keep you safe... they've tried to give you a long and happy life... they'd never just give you away.

The Lamb offers Ratau instead... The Fox merely frowns.

"Little Lamb... I could give you anything you want, just give me your special one. I'll take good care of them."

The Lamb refuses, for once not taking a deal and turning away to see your face again.

This begins tension between the two parties.

The Lamb finds other methods to get rid of problematic followers while taking care of you.

Meanwhile The Fox stalks you closely, waiting for the opportunity to pounce.

You have no clue about the predator in the bushes.

The Lamb merely makes you look into their eyes and holds you close.

You're not allowed to go outside... The Lamb tells you your safest in the cult.

Yet The Fox calls for you in the night, begging you to meet him.

The Lamb never rests, always watching you as you sleep until morning.

However... crusades take a long time.

One night... The Fox might just take you away.

This fear keeps The Lamb on their toes/hooves, often having a few followers wear moon necklaces to watch over you when they're away.

This is what their rivalry would be... The Lamb protecting you while The Fox plots to steal you away.

Eventually... The Lamb may just slip up...

Only time will tell.
