We all know that Steve and Eddie are a cuddly couple but they’re extremely cuddly whenever they go on long road trips because that’s the only time Steve never drives and it makes him kind of anxious that he’s not in control. To calm his nerves, Eddie doesn’t hesitate to sit with Steve in the back of the van and he just wraps his arms around him while kissing him gently on his forehead. Steve didn’t realize it but he was also calming Eddie down by sticking by his side and their loving conversations helped him relax while being in the road for so long with intense traffic. Both of them started to get comfortable overtime when it came to traveling with the party and it’s the cutest thing.

started raining out of no where and it gave me a little idea 🥺🥺 it’s soft ooc billy, fair warning

but imagine it’s a summer night and it’s been storming for hours. billy likes being alone when he sleeps, but it’s so cold in the attic. it’s leaky and wet and smells bad. there’s a bright flash of lightening and then the immediate roll of thunder, and he scrambled to his feet and rushes down the ladder.

he’s not really thinking as he scurries through the hall, nothing beyond thinking that he must look like a mouse. he keeps his head down and follows his usual path down to your room. he stands in the doorway and pushes the door open slowly, letting it creek. he watches as it wakes you up with a startled gasp.

“billy?” you whisper.

he smacks his lips and lets his breath come out heavy. you smile, and he steps into the room.

“shut the door,” you ask him. he lets another sound come from his mouth, but does as you ask. his back is turned to you, and he pauses there once the lock clicks shut. he realizes he doesn’t know how to ask for what he wants.

“billy, what’s wrong?” you ask softly. he can hear fear in your voice, and it’s nice but it isn’t what he needs. he needs something he isn’t sure he can have. not sure if he’s allowed to ask.

“cold, freezing cold,” he mutters.

“you’re cold?” you parrot back. he doesn’t respond, then he hears you say, “come here.”

he takes a step towards you, still keeping his back toward you. he hears your quiet laugh. “come here, billy,” you say again, a little more insistent.

he turns slowly and stares at you. just stares. he wants you to squirm, but you turn down your quilt instead.

“it’s warm under my blanket, billy,” you whisper. drool threatens to spill down his lips and he slurps it back, smacking his lips again.

he walks towards the bed and stands next to it, looking down at you. it’s a dark night, and with the storm clouds outside there’s no moon. Despite that, the sky lights up with a flash and a delayed boom. he sees you completely, and wonders if you can see him completely too. he wonders if you’re scared. maybe he doesn’t want you to be too scared right now.

“lay down,” you whisper, and he does. the bed creeks, and he doesn’t like the way it peels at his ears. but it stops when he stops, and he doesn’t really want to move anyways. you fix the quilt again so that it’s covering the both of you. “better?”

billy nods. when you smile at him, he lets out a strange croaking whine. his mind isn’t quiet, but he must have run out of words. it’s quiet-er. he likes it a lot. likes how you calm him just by being close to him. his favorite slut.

you roll over onto your side facing him and put a hand on his chest. he falls asleep soon after, soothed by your gentle warmth and the rumbling clanging thunder.
