Can we talk about how Gortash commissioned a literal sculpture of how Bane looked in their first dream visit, and displays it prominently in his office??
*This is a bust of the god Bane as he first appeared to Gortash in dreams, and was then described to a Rivington sculptor.*

actually you probably could make a list of rap with no misogyny but it would probably be obscure garbage. or songs by artists with misogynistic lyrics in other songs. also in that spotify list of the top 50 most streamed rap artists there are only THREE women: nicki minaj (top 10), cardi b (top 20), and megan thee stallion (number 46, two spots above the man that shot her and lied about it). why be in denial. especially when so many female vets of hip hop are either underacknowledged or resigned to the historical dustbin......................

Hijacked Peeta isn't the Real Peeta
It took me a time to get it, and surely it would be easier if Katniss had said it directly: to Katniss Hijacked Peeta and old Peeta isn't the same person.
I used to be upset with Katniss for being so rough (and even cruel) with Peeta after his rescue. I didn't understand how she couldn't see him as a sick person that need to be treated kindly and patiently. Why can't she behavior as our lord and savior Finnick?
But one thing I completely forgot was Peeta hijacking completely devastated her. Guys, how could we consider her cold and cruel when all she wanted to do after seeing Peeta in such painful situation is to die. Katniss hits on suicide increased tremendously after the rescue.
They didn't kill Peeta physically, they killed the person he used to be, that kind boy she loved so much, the image of him being torn apart right before her eyes. The only person who knew her better than her family and saw the best in her was no more.
Then, there is nothing she can do but be her worst. One thing everyone forgets about this part (including me), is that her hostility only appears when provoked by his hostility. She was acting just like she did on book 1, picking on him to push him away and trying protecting herself from more hurt.
Although she didn't hate Peeta for real, she did hate his "new" behavior. Looking at him probably was like seeing a evil version of him. Katniss didn't see him as himself. It was like someone else possessed the body of the man she loves, and she hated it.

do you ever just. ohhhh what if we were raised in hell and i was set on becoming as bad as this place allowed. but i saw you again and again until it became habit; became carved into my bones like the revenge bestowed on my shoulders. and you were the first to make me laugh. and i ended up relaxing around you even though it went against everything i knew. but we recognised something in each other, consciously or not. you matched me. you matched the whip-crack and the broken glass and the thunderstorms and the blood under my fingernails. and you saw me. you really really saw me and still you stayed despite all of it. and we didn’t know what any of it was. we didn’t know why i could fall asleep next to you. or why i allowed you close enough to see my wounds. i could feel your breath on my skin. and all those things we said in the dark that would’ve caught alight if we’d said them in the day. and you stayed and stayed and stayed even when i thought you wouldn’t. even when you shouldn’t have. and we were relentless. and you were my first understanding of love. before i knew what it was. before i knew what it meant or how it felt, it was always always you.

Obsessed with Michael forgetting a solid 83% of all the cruel things he's done to Evan. To him, they're just jokes, just stupid stuff he does to fill the time, just little moments of him being filled with blind rage-- they don't actually mean anything. And yet, unknown to him, Evan doesn't forget a single cruel thing Mike has done to him; they're all engraved in Evan's brain like scars, and they color how Evan interacts with the world and how Evan views the world, himself, and Michael. Michael's cruelties are nothing to Michael, and yet they are EVERYTHING to Evan in the worst way possible.

the snow queen – batman tales: once upon a crime
[ID: Victor Fries (aka Mister Freeze) trapped in ice. His head is light blue and is enclosed in a jagged glass helmet. Red goggles hide his eyes as The Snow Queen delicately kisses his temple. In the next two panels, Victor's skin is no longer discoloured and his goggles are off. He melancholically talks to Batman, his icy comatose broken by her kiss.
Batman asks him why did he come here and Victor replies, “This place holds special meaning. It's where she first skated. It's where we first met. My Snow Queen... my Nora. I realize now, my memories of her have kept me frozen in time.” Batman wraps his arm around Victor to help support him as he guides him to safety. He sympathizes, “Sometimes it's not just bad memories that stop us from living, but good ones, too” END ID]
