[[has this trope died down? has anyone written hanahaki viktor x reader? can someone link me angst and love? i am very stressed over work rn and thinking about the equally stressed man.]] viktor who seems more sick and tired than usual a few months after meeting reader viktor who locks himself in his room throwing up flowers viktor hiding away in the lab's storage room spewing petals while he worries that you can smell the fragrance viktor running to the window and coughing out of it, hoping you think its just his usual illness and not fucking flowers viktor who refuses to fall in love and acknowledge his loneliness, even as he almost dies choking on petals viktor who reads extensively on the disease (he's a man of science after all) and still refusing to believe there is no simpler cure viktor who wants to be free and surgically remove his flowers but secretly doesn't want to stop loving you and finally... reader finding him when he doesn't show up to the lab for a week worried, only to see him dying not from his illness but from hanahaki in a room full of petals the color of their hair, their eyes, their love... viktor tears in his eyes as you tell him you love him over and over and over. the flowers immediately wilting as he holds onto you apologizing, breathless.

In my CoS game there was a coup in Vallaki and Vargas is dead. Viktor (obviously) has very mixed feelings about it... One of the party members is trying to befriend and actually help him (surprisingly has made a lot of progress tbh), so I guess he will eventually talk about those feelings (? Idk I'm just glad he's got a friend (even if he doesn't trust her completely yet)
