Tuileries Palace announces the official programme of festivities on the occasion of the wedding of Their Imperial Majesties
⚜ Civil Wedding, 20 prairial year 230 ⚜
Celebrated at the Tuileries Palace at 4pm. The Emperor lends his arm to the Imperial bride, Charlotte de Rochechouart, as far as the Salon des Maréchaux. They were greeted by His Imperial Highness, Prince Henri de Francesim, who would marry them in civil ceremony. Those invited will be seated by the master of ceremonies. The imperial bride and groom will stand during the wedding ceremony, as will the entire audience. The President of Parliament will then have them sign the civil register. After the ceremony, the Emperor will hold a speech, and then the Empress will be taken to the Elysée Palace.
⚜ Religious Wedding, 21 prairial year 230 ⚜
Celebrated at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. The guests will arrive at 9 o'clock and settle in with the help of the master of ceremonies. At 11 o'clock, Empress will present herself at the Tuileries Palace to the Emperor. At noon, the imperial couple leave the Tuileries Palace for the cathedral, where an artillery salute will announce their departure. The route of the Cortège is relatively short, in order to reserve greater festivities for the Coronation. The imperial couple will be married in the cathedral by Pope Benedictus XIX, the Emperor's godfather. After the ceremony, the Emperor and Empress will return to the Tuileries Palace, which will open its doors for a salute from the balcony.
During the day, the Emperor and Empress have planned numerous acts of charity, including several donations to foundations and associations totalling 300,000 euros each. To this sum must be added the Empress's finery, graciously donated by His Majesty to the underprivileged.
In the evening, numerous parties and concerts will be held throughout Francesim and all public buildings will be illuminated.
⚜ Imperial Wedding reception, 22 prairial an 230 ⚜
The day after the ceremonies, Their Imperial Majesties will welcome several Francesim representatives and foreign ambassadors to the palace throughout the day.
Their Imperial Majesties will then go on a two-week honeymoon to an unknown destination. In their absence, Prince Henri de Francesim will govern the Empire.

She can't compete because she can't compare plant, look at any picture of Catherine from this weekend from the reception at BP to the unexpected walkabout and Street party to the actual coronation and then the concert and the scouts all of those pictures will go down in history...that look back at the Abbey doors? Her smiling in the carriage? Epic...... then look at Meghan with her unkempt hair decked out like Mr. T hiking.... she can't compete on any level with Kate, this might have been Charles and Camillas coronation but the Wales family OWNED this weekend.
She even had the kids dressed in red white and blue at the Abbey and her Charlotte and George in red white and blue at the concert she was magnificent this weekend.
It's a completely different league.

What are your favorite looks from royal weddings, christenings, jubilees, coronations/enthronements, funerals?
For weddings, see this post:
For christenings - I've always generally liked what the moms wear but there just aren't a whole lot of good pictures because they're the ones holding the baby! What I love the most to see at the royal christenings is always how happy, proud, and glowing most of the moms are. I always got an odd vibe from Meghan in Archie's christening pictures - she isn't glowing and happy in those photos as the moms in other christening photos are. In fact, to me, Meghan seemed happier, more glowy, and prouder in the pictures from the Windsor hall when they presented Archie to CBS cameras.
But these two are my favorite looks from royal christenings.
Tumblr media
I also really liked Madeleine's look from her first child's christening but couldn't find a good picture of her outfit so I didn't include it. I loved that she wore a floral headpiece and with a floral dress, made her whole look very summery.
For jubilees - I'm just going to do the BRF's 2022 Platinum Jubilee because I don't want go to down a rabbit hole right now.
Here are the ladies:
Tumblr media
Kate in Wales (one of my all-time favorite Kate coats)
Beatrice at the Royal Windsor Horse Show Charity Night (one of my all-time favorite Yorkie looks - this is such a slay)
Zara at the Epsom Races (in Mike's hat)
Kate at the Platinum Jubilee Service of Thanksgiving
Sophie Winkleman and Lady Gabriella at the service of thanksgiving.
A couple of notes about the service of thanksgiving - Beatrice and Sophie W. actually wore the same dress in different colors; Beatrice in blue, Sophie in pink. I prefer Sophie's dress and her hat style. Beatrice's dress just looked off, like the fit was just slightly too big.
I didn't mind Eugenie's dress at the service of thanksgiving but the tangerine color with a black hat was all wrong. A more muted orange, like Gabriella's peach, or a darker-hued orange on scale with Sophie’s pink/fuchsia would've worked much better.
And now for the gents:
Tumblr media
Mike after the service of Thanksgiving in Zara's hat. Just fab. No words.
August at the jubilee pageant. Who doesn't love a little boy in a heritage sweater? Such a cutie-pie.
For coronations/enthronements
From Charles and Camilla's coronation in 2023:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Queen Matilda, Coronation
Beatrice, Coronation
Penny Mordaunt, Coronation
Empress Crown Princess of Japan, Coronation
Queen Letizia, Pre-Coronation Reception
Queen Jetsun, Pre-Coronation Reception
Lady Louise, Coronation (an all-time favorite look)
Everyone in the procession at the coronation, (except for the Camillas)
Kate, Coronation Garden Party
Kate, Coronation Concert
Princess Anne, Coronation
Major Johnny, Coronation
Yeomen, Garden Party. These guys are just cool.
The only other coronation/enthronement whose fashion I enjoyed was King Willem-Alexander's inauguration. These looks are my favorite:
Tumblr media
Maxima, Inauguration
Frederick and Mary, Inauguration
Felipe and Letizia, Inauguration (they became King and Queen a year later)
Mary, Reception (not sure if this was before or after the inauguration. I think it was after or later that day since Willem-Alexander and Maxima’s daughters were wearing the same dresses from the inauguration ceremony). Mary is 💃 personified in that dress.
I also adore the dresses that Leonor and Sofia wore for King Felipe's coronation. I wish we could have seen Charlotte in dresses like these when she was younger, instead of the traditional British smocked dresses.
Tumblr media
For funerals - I don’t know about this one. I’m a little uncomfortable focusing on the fashion at such somber occasions. I get why some people do but it’s not for me so respectfully, I’m not sharing about these. People do the best they can during times of grief and we shouldn’t fault them for choices made under duress.
That said, I think Kate looked better at Philip’s funeral and The Queen’s lying-in-state than she did at The Queen’s funeral. Her outfit choice for The Queen’s funeral felt very much like a changeover to The Princess of Wales, where she looked (and probably felt) more like herself at Philip’s funeral and the lying-in-state service.
This concludes the traditional Royal-watching week of commentary. In two weeks, I’ll spend a few days posting about the Sussexes, and opening Pandora’s Box, so if you have opinions/royal-watching questions or just want to light matches with me about the Sussexes, get them in before May 18th to be included.
Back to regular programming.

Okay, I think I was able to make a timeline of the receptions the Royals held/attended on Saturday and Sunday:
Saturday:
Coronation
Buffet-style luncheon for the family at BP
Most of the family went to WC because BP is under construction. There they held a private family drinks party.
There was also a private family gathering after the official eve-of-Coronation reception at Buckingham Palace.
Charles and Camilla did not travel to WC on Saturday. Charles left for Highgrove and Camilla, although she also left London that day, it is not known where to.
All this according to an article by Rebecca English.
Sunday:
This information according to an article in The Telegraph and the Court Circular:
Their Majesties attended a family supper at Windsor Castle.
They held a reception at Windsor Castle for the VIP guests invited to the concert, among them Rishi Sunak, the Prime Minister. According to the CC Edward, Sophie, Anne, Tim and the Gloucesters were present. This reception was before the concert by the way it appears in the CC, because first they mention this reception and then they say that afterwards Charles, Camilla and the family were present at the BBC concert.
The reception held by William and Catherine was after the concert, also at Windsor Castle; according to the CC, Edward, Sophie and Louise were present.

Katerina’s stylist does an excellent job, but she still won’t be able to hide her stomach for a long time, she doesn’t work much, and if she doesn’t attend important events without explaining the reasons, it will look very bad
How much is she even going to work?
This Thursday & Friday [April 27th & 28th]
coronation rehearsal [Wednesday or Thursday?]
BP evening reception (might not show for that one) [May 5th]
The Coronation [May 6th]
Coronation concert [May 7th]
Coronation volunteer day [May 8th]
State Opening of Parliament [May 10th?]
And then what?
The next one for sure will be Trooping the Colour, which doesn't happen until June 17th! That's more than a month.
Will we get proof of life between May 10th and June 17th?

what's so funny is that they're so cut off the family they have the same info as the rest of us: nearly 0 😂
they know their dress code but not the other's, they were probably invited to the 2 events confirmed by BP (coronation and concert) but don't have official info on the others (graden party, reception) and if they will be there (likely not), I doubt their invitation was explicit with anything else like the balcony etc..
I honestly think they have no idea what to do 😬 they put themselves in such a ridiculous position that any choice will reveal them as the clowns they are 🤡🤡 if they come they'll be humilliated, if they don't they have nothing royal to hold on to, if only H comes the squad will go after him for chosing his family over M..
true lmfao they probably aren't even attending the concert, only the coronation
and "if they come they'll be humilliated, if they don't they have nothing royal to hold on to, if only H comes the squad will go after him for chosing his family over M.." yep yep all of this

From a BBC article about The Big Help Out by Rachel Russell: "The Big Help Out involves people taking on volunteering roles on the extra bank holiday. The King and Queen are not expected to attend any events - but other royals will drop in on some of the projects." Speechless - but not surprised one bit...
It’s odd, specially knowing how workaholic Charles is. And honestly is a very bad look that they didn’t go not even to greet some people in person for ‘volunteering’ as part of his coronation celebrations. Even if he isn’t thinking this, is like saying to people: I’m the King, I don’t need to, serve in order to celebrate me, like it’s not giving the message he wanted to project with these activities. It’s causing the total opposite
At least Charles showed up to the receptions on Friday. Camilla only showed up for her Crown and the concert, the latter probably pissed her off since it primarily celebrated Charles.
