‎‎‎‎‎ ❛ The banality of human tragedy wasn’t enough for a princess. Some may have said it was an insult. The publishers, insatiable in their hunger for a story, chased answers. They would force slippery, delicate reality into the shackles of narrative. They would explain the unexplainable. Numerous leads bubbled forth in the immediate days following the event. At first, they came as a respectful trickle of whispers. Then, they came in a loud burst that could fill the amorphous space between breaking news and solemn coverage of a state funeral. Most of the claims were false: the queen had held the gaze of an owl twenty days prior; a storm had thrown and scattered stones in an ominous glyph; waterway residents had heard plaintive weeping from the water before the disappearance; a daykeeper sent a letter to the palace warning the mountains were shaking with longing; the princess was terrified of water and had diligently avoided it before this fateful outing. The latter was true.

𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞𝐝 & 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭 ↓

It wasn’t moving water that paralyzed her. She had appreciated the crashing of beach waves and the foaming, rushing flow of rivers. The waterfalls in Yaas had captivated her. The problem was still water. Placid and smooth, the expanses of lakes and ponds and swimming pools unsettled her to the core. Others saw them as gentle and inviting; these comely traits, to her, were the duplicity inherent to any natural danger.

As with many fears, this one had been formative. These bodies summoned memories of gasping and flailing—a visceral recollection of the moment in which her swimming education both began and ended. The publishers would report that she refused to bathe in tubs or put her face beneath a shower head. These details were embellishments, but they knitted together the perfect narrative to rendered the death star-crossed, inevitable, and shadowing even in the unobstructed light of day. With such winking glints of absurdity, a deluge of articles teased intrigue from something utterly ordinary.

Indeed, that was the wretched truth with which the family had to contend, even as days of newsprint consoled the public with fantasy. Once the body was recovered a few hours later, the coroner called it what her fellow passengers had assumed: an accident. People drowned in Uspana every day. Such a demise was considered divinely favored, and the context—the story that underwrote it—didn’t matter. The mountains claimed their favorites regardless of whether their lungs filled with a few inches of bathwater or deep inhales of Canarís Bay saltwater. These favorites were regular people. They were also, from time to time, royalty.

The cause was misadventure, not malevolence.

Still, when Beatriz stumbled over to the telephone on the day she received the news, she took a deep breath to steady herself and said with conviction, “Arnaut, he's finally killed her. Please come home.”

TRANSCRIPT:

[A] I just can't believe he convinced you to go on it. [S] Me either.

After the Coronation ceremony, their Majesties, King Marcus and Queen Catalina took to the streets in a grand procession, bringing joy, and excitement to their adoring citizens.

Princess Alice Debuts New Portrait!

The Queen's youngest sister, Princess Alice, has officially released a new portrait ahead of her 18th birthday tomorrow.

For her birthday portrait, the 10th in line to the throne wore a pink gown from the Envie Collection, accompanied by the sash that marks her as being part of the Royal Edwardian order (started by King Edward I, Alice's sash is one given to children of the monarch, in this case, as a child of King Richard) as well as the family orders of her sister, Queen Anastasia and her father, King Richard, which was given to her shortly before his passing.

Alice also wore the Elphinstone Hoop Necklace, made for her 4th great grandmother, Queen Marie, as well as a new pair of earrings, believed to have been bought for Alice from her mother.

But for most people on social media and beyond, the real star of the show (other than Alice herself) was Queen Marie's Pink Tourmaline Tiara. The tiara was made and given to Queen Marie in 1858 as one of the many wedding presents she received from her new husband, King Edward II. Marie wore the tiara multiple times throughout her time as a member of the Royal Family, including in the last portrait made of her with King Edward II.

After Marie's death in 1918, however, the tiara went back into the vault and until today, no one was quite sure if it was still in the Royal Collection, dismantled or sold. Queen Anastasia is said to have given the tiara to her sister because she knew her sister would love and appreciate the tiara.

eusalia retcon!!

eusalia is the continent in my Sophie of Rostock story which will be resuming soon! it is HEAVILY inspired by early nineteenth century europe!! I did make a map when I first started the story but now I really hate it and wanted to revamp it and add more detail. anyway so in the continent there are two distinct regions which are heavily divided, germania and vista. this is the map as of 1809 (when the story starts)

the germanic empire (heavily inspired by the Holy Roman Empire) is purely ceremonial and has no real power, each principality governs itself with the emperor elected by twelve electors as a mere figurehead. the emperor of germania has for the past 400 years been from the house of Augustinia who hold lands all across the continent. the augustinian family also controls chambery, which was acquired in 1695 after the 3rd Calais-Augustinia War. the germanic empire includes two kingdoms, the kingdom of weimar & the kingdom of wardenburg. previously the kingdom of tyrol which is controlled by the Augustinians was considered a part of the empire but the Augustinians formally removed it from the empire’s designated territories and made it a personal possession. the archduchy of graz & the kingdom of augustinia are also part of the augustinian domains. Charleroi was also a part of the Augustinian Domains until 1735. in germania for the past fifty years there has been a constant rivalry between the kingdom of wardenburg and the augustinians who try and influence all of the other states of the empire.

meanwhile in vista there are a plethora of different independent states. btw in this map of vista I made a mistake, Aosta is a KINGDOM not a duchy anymore. so Aosta & Salerno are the biggest powers in this region along with the Patriarch who is the religious religious leader of the Jacobans who also rules the Holy Lands. The Royal House of Aosta is the longest ruling one in Vista, holding the duchy of Aosta since 1104, it was elevated to a kingdom in 1805.

in general windenburg, calais, augustinia, wardenburg, and beloshov are the great powers in the continent. beloshov has only recently advanced under the reign of their current monarch, the empress elizabeth and has been considered a great power following their many wars with the hafsah caliphate. from 1790-195, beloshov fought in the stravian wars of liberation, resulting in tetovo, tirana, and athenia gaining their independence from the hafsah caliphate.

currently there is one major war raging through the continent, the war of calais succession. in 1784 the House of Everaux was dethroned in a bloody revolution resulting in the execution of several members of the government. in 1787 the House of Montpellier, a cadet branch of the House of Everaux, were put on the throne as the Duke of Montpellier was seen as a liberal. However in 1805 he was dethroned as well whereupon a revolutionary chaotic government led by radicals reeked havoc upon the continent, invading Charleroi and northern Almeria. In 1808 the radical government was disbanded and Calais was invaded by the allied forces including Windenburg, Beloshov, Wardenburg, and Frisia. However a conflict erupted when the allied powers had a disagreement upon which family should rule Calais now, the Everaux or the Montpellier family. Beloshov, Windenburg, Almeria, Salerno, and Capua all support the Everaux family taking the throne. Meanwhile the House of Montpellier is supported by Wardenburg, Charleroi, Augustinia, Aosta, and Frisia. This has caused a war which has spiraled throughout the continent, however the claimant from the house of Everaux, Prince Louis Ferdinand (Louis XII), landed in Calais with an army of 30,000 and has taken the capital, Magnolia with support of Windenburgian troops.

another current thing going is that in vasa, prince karl (second son to the king) has plotted a coup against his brother and father with the help of beloshov and other conservatives in vasa because they do not support his liberal policies + beloshov just wants to cause chaos in vasa because they to expand their borders toward vasa (beloshov owns the grand duchy of alstein). but with sophie’s potential marriage beloshov will stop supporting the everaux in the war of calais succession & they will stop supporting the coup against the king of vasa who is her mom’s cousin! anyway this was a LOT and probably very complicated. my story will be returning soon hopefully!

Jon Skylark: Welcome back to the Jon Skylark Show. I am joined tonight by Jean Tatum, actress in the upcoming Speed and Serious film and Walter Fitzherbert, Royal Naval Advisor.

Jon Skylark: The royals have recently been in the news. Crown Princess Margaret is reportedly extending her maternity leave and refusing to attend many of her fall engagements.

Jean Tatum: It makes us look foolish as a nation. No one wanted this marriage to happen, and now Margaret is refusing her royal duties.

Walter Fitzherbert: She's been on maternity leave. I don't think it is fair for us to judge. She's not abandoning the country.

Jon Skylark: To be fair, When my wife had our son, she was back at work within 3 months. So the public is supposed to foot the bill of some glorified housewife?

(audience laughs)

Walter Fitzherbert: What I don't think the public should do is ridicule a mother wanting to spend more time with her family.

Jean Tatum: She's been on a private leave for almost the better part of a year. Her husband William must be sick of pulling dead weight around.

Jon Skylark: Do you think this is the biggest problem facing the royals this fall?

Jean Tatum: I think a bigger issue Jon, is the lack of fucking talent within the royal family that we have to worry about.

Jon Skylark: Alright Jean, keep it civil I'm trying to stay on the air.

(audience laughs)

Jean Tatum: (chuckles) I'm serious. We have a Queen that is rarely seen in public, her husband is more concerned with what's happening everywhere else on the continent than here in our own country. Their younger son, George, is frankly...a buffoon, and there's a whole host of useless minor royals who'd rather cling to outdated traditions than to start modernizing.

Walter Fitzherbert: I don't fully agree. I think the Queen has been dealt a hand, and she is playing it the best that she can.

Jean Tatum: She's a Queen, she's The Queen. (laughs) I can guarantee her hand is much better than ours.

Walter Fitzherbert: She has led this country through one of our biggest military conflicts, since the Third Dane War and continues to guide our nation's leaders in an ever sifting geo-political climate. All the while being the head of large family...

Jean Tatum: You'd have to be a fool to think the Queen is involved in politics. We all know it's Lord Hyannis pulling the apron strings.

Jon Skylark: Speaking of apron strings, with the Prince George's wife, The Duchess of Chelsea, now pregnant there has been talk about changing the rules of succession to absolute primogeniture.

Jean Tatum: Yes! How the hell are we still saying that a boy should be prioritized over his sisters. The Queen herself would have been displaced if her parents were to have a younger son. The whole thing is outdated.

Walter Fitzherbert: It's tradition.

Jean Tatum: It's archaic.

Walter Fitzherbert: The royals are the keepers of our national traditions. There are some things, we as citizens, should expect from them. Continuity and consistency being two. Remaking themselves for the sake of popular opinion is not one.

Jean Tatum: Well admiral, it's simple we are either going to watch the royals die trying to modernize or we'll end up watching them...well just die.

The Royal Family of Matanzas have formally announced the engagement of Prince Ariel, The Duke of Bayamo and Ms.Chiara Cardona, The Minister of Commerce, with photos taken on the grounds of the Palace Del Sol Royal Gardens.

The engagement took place in September during a holiday to Covadonga for the couples 2 year anniversary. Prince Ariel and The Royal Family jeweler designed the ring together. The ring features a gorgeous 5-caret round center diamond surrounded by a cluster of 14 solitaire diamonds set in white gold.

The wedding will take place in the Spring of 2024 at Basilica de Santa Maria la Real de Bayamo with further details to be announced.

The Sims 4 Aladdin Story (After Genie was Released, and all was saved)

(Left to Right : Sultan Amano Kalechi, Prince Zafarius Kalechi (9 months old, and Princess Jasmine Kalechi, 15 years old.)

Princess Jasmine was named Sultana of Marivutu (Oasis Spring Sims 4 world) and Draka Desert (Stranger Ville Sims 4 world) until her brother Zafarius assumed the throne at 18. Currently, Sultan Amano governs both countries.

Princess Jasmine and Aladdin have postponed their wedding to explore the world. However, the Council of Mari Draka, which includes council members from Marivutu and Draka Desert, are against their union. Even though Sultan Amano ruled in favor of the couple, the council members fear his power and possible backlash.

Anaba Kalechi and her beloved Elon got married a year after the incident that turned her into a genie. They were blessed with two beautiful children a son named Lin (male) and a daughter named Angelique Ocra Elmmoon. What the royal family doesn't know is that Elon is actually the brother of the Queen of fairies, Queen Elna, from Enkanto Karri (Sims 4 World: New Crest).

The couple had a happy marriage and decided to settle down in Marivutu. They arranged a marriage between their daughter Angelique, and Prince Zafarius, which would make them the possible rulers of the Monarch.

Lord Adom fell in love and married his beloved wife. The couple had a daughter, whom they named Arabella. Unfortunately, they both passed away due to an illness, leaving their child behind. The royal family took in Arabella and arranged for her to marry Prince Zafarius as well. In the Kingdom of Marivutu and Draka Desert, more than one spouse is allowed. It's worth noting that the Kingdom practices polygamous monarchy, but Sultan Amoano chose not to follow that tradition since he only had eyes for one wife.

Five years later, Jasmine and Aladdin got married and nine months later, she gave birth to twin girls, Princess Layla and Princess Aaliyah. However, the council of MariDraka didn't approve of Jasmine marrying a commoner and not having children of pure royal blood. The council presented two options to Jasmine. First, she would have to separate from Aladdin or Second, she could stay with Aladdin, but she would have to marry a prince from a neighboring kingdom. If she didn't make a decision, she would have to give up custody of her brother, Zafarius. Jasmine's parents passed away after she gave birth due to an illness, so at the age of 20, Jasmine became Sultana Regent until her brother is of age. At the time, Zafarius was only five years old. Sultana Jasmine chose option 2.

She made the difficult decision to marry Prince Hassan Leonard from the Kingdom of Maeria (San Sequoia Sims 4 World) and gave birth to a son, Prince Amir Leonard Kalechi, but Aladdin was not aware of the arrangement and was upset. He decided to take the girls to his mother and told Sultana Jasmine that he would no longer be a part of her world. Meanwhile, Aladdin's mother, Haima, remarried and had a son, Jaron, but her husband passed away.

Princess Jasmine had to make difficult decisions. Despite the loss of her husband, she prioritized the welfare of her people and saved her brother from the clutches of the councilman.

After 15 years, Aladdin and his wife worked on their marriage, and it greatly improved after he confessed to his affair and they both forgave each other. Now she is 9 month pregnant with their 3rd child together. He currently has another daughter Lady Sakima who her mother is Lady Zafa, Sultana Jasmine distant cousin.

However, a great war broke out for control in Draka Desert. As a result, the following events were far from predictable.

Warriors that Died from the war of Draka Dessert and Marivutu war.

Aladdin and his mother, Halima, were grieving for their beloved Jaron. However, they knew they had to be strong for the sake of their children and for Jasmine's pregnancy. Sultana Jasmine had no choice but to put an end to the war and abandon Draka Desert, which was soon taken over by an unknown enemy.

Zafa, Zafar, and Mario's grandmother, Countess Jewel Salmon, passed away. Since Zafar and Mario also passed away, the title of Countess has been passed to Lady Zafa.

There was rumors suggest that Reed Kalechi, the son of Adodore and Hana, might have taken over as the ruler of Draka Desert."

King Xavion Leonard, father of Hassan, ruling over the Maeria Kingdom, is deeply upset over the loss of his children and many of his concubines in the war. Mysteriously, all of his concubines have been killed. To add to his grief, his mother, Queen Mother Rihanni Leonard, has passed away due to the sorrow of losing some of her grandchildren. In contrast, High Concubine Roxana seems to be happy about the Queen Mother's demise.

High Concubine Roxana left the Kingdom to be with her son, Hassan, and grand son, Amir.

However there is a mystery within all three Kingdom. Let see what is to come.

Oliver: The Polytechnique ball thinks big! Napoléon V: I suggested the Garnier Opera to the school president. You've got to have a bit of fun!

Napoléon V and his entourage went to the Grand Bal de l'X, organised by the École Polytechnique to celebrate the end of their year of study. The ball took place at the Opéra Garnier, and featured a number of performances including dances, fencing, a choir and many other distinguished ceremonies. It's a not-to-be-missed event for young students. During the evening, Oliver approached his friend Napoléon V to officially ask for his sister Hortense's hand in marriage. The Emperor agreed to make the engagement official.

Napoléon V et ses proches se rendent au grand bal de l'X, organisé par l'école Polytechnique pour fêter la fin d'année d'étude. Le bal se déroule à l'opéra Garnier, et donne lieu à de nombreux spectacles comme des danses, des combats d'escrimes, une chorale, et bien d'autres cérémonies distinguées. C'est le rendez-vous immanquable des jeunes étudiants. Durant la soirée, Oliver approche son ami Napoléon V pour lui demander officiellement la main d'Hortense, sa soeur. L'Empereur accepte d'officialiser les fiançailles.

Oliver : Le bal de Polytechnique voit les choses en grand ! Napoléon V : J’ai proposé l’opéra Garnier au président de l’école. Il faut bien s’amuser un peu !

Oliver : Et ta lune de miel alors, ça s’est bien passé ? Napoléon V : Très bien, merci. C’était étrange d’être coupés du monde, loin de toute l’agitation parisienne.

Oliver : Tant mieux! Tu avais besoin de repos. À propos, j’ai pensé que cela ferait plaisir à Hortense d’avoir un domaine en Francesim, pour que l’on puisse vous rendre visite de temps en temps. Napoléon V : C’est une bonne idée, j’aime savoir que ma jumelle ne sera pas trop éloignée de nous.

Oliver : Vous êtes nés pour prendre des chemins différents. À ce moment de votre vie, la distance est naturelle, mais je crois pouvoir me faire l'écho des sentiments d'Hortense qui t'aime tendrement, quoi qu'il arrive et en dépit de tout ce qui s'est passé. Napoléon V : Merci Oliver. Je compte sur toi, pour veiller sur elle.
