In a thrilling game that had fans on the edge of their seats, the Nebraska Cornhuskers pulled off a stunning comeback against the Iowa Hawkeyes. Trailing by 14 points in the fourth quarter, the Cornhuskers rallied to win the game 82-79, thanks to a heroic effort from their defense and a crucial tying shot from Jaz Shelley.
The 15,000 spectators in attendance had high expectations for Caitlyn Clark, the standout player for Iowa, who was just 39 points shy of claiming the top spot in Division I scoring. With only 9 seconds left on the clock, all eyes were on Caitlin as she attempted a game-saving 3-pointer. Nebraska coach Amy Williams acknowledged the threat Caitlin posed, stating, "Anytime it's a one-possession game and you have Caitlin Clark on your team, there's a really good chance she's going to get a good look and they're going to keep storming back." However, Caitlin missed the shot, and the Hawkeyes ultimately emerged victorious over the Cornhuskers.
Clark expressed her frustration in the post-game news conference, emphasizing that the pursuit of the scoring record had not distracted her from her primary goal. Known for her exceptional awareness of time, scores, and a photographic memory for plays and possessions. Caitlin understands the expectations placed upon her by sports experts and fans alike. Despite the disappointment of the loss, Cailtin bounced back in their next game against Michigan in spectacular fashion.
In an outstanding performance, Caitlin scored 31 points, recorded 10 assistants, four steals, two blocks, and eight rebounds. With this feat, she became just the sixth Division 1 player to achieve 1,000 career assists, currently sitting at an impressive 1,005. Additionally, Caitlin became the first Division I player ever to accumulate over 3,000 career points and 1,000 career assists. After making history, Caitlin made sure to emphasize, "Our goals are still intact," underscoring the team's determination to achieve their collective objectives.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers thrilling comeback and Caitlin Clark's remarkable individual achievements have added an extra layer of excitement to the season. Fans eagerly, anticipate what's to come and how both the team and Caitlin will continue to make their mark on the court.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers Women's Volleyball team broke the record for the largest crowd to attend a women's sporting event in the world.
This crowd was almost 11,000 more folks than what AEW ALL IN: London did. Basketball, Soccer and this Volleyball event prove that women's sports matter and will they draw.
Tony Khan is missing the mark and missing a lucrative opportunity to reach out to young women who might want to pursue being professional wrestlers. I think of Saraya and Billie Starkz who chose wrestling as their profession.
Women if given the opportunity can do great things in wrestling and in life. I think had the women shared the load in booking that the men would not have had the number of injuries they have had in AEW.
All Tony has to do is ask his veteran women to come up with stories and run with them. They are hungry and they deserve better.
If volleyball can do this so can women's pro wrestling. Do better AEW.
