Half asleep Pokémon legends/ Pokémon platinum AU idea where rather than Dawn being pregame or postgame she’s from the midgame.
Basically, when Dawn goes into the distortion world is when Arceus yanks her into the past like ‘Hey sorry to bother you before you stop Giratina this time need you to stop them the first time oh and gather all Pokémon kay thanks bye’
Cynthia is not too sure what happened she jumps to in the distortion world then hears a crash behind her she looks expecting to see Dawn but instead sees her poke balls, bag, hat and coat and is just standing there with the lake guardians like… “what just happened DID THE DISTORTION WORLD EAT DAWN”
The lake guardians eventually mange to get Cynthia whose holding Dawn’s belongings and looking like she’s going to cry because “THE DISTORTION WORLD ATE DAWN THIS WAS NOT IN ANY OF MY TEXT BOOKS” the lake guardians remember Akari/Dawn and know she’ll be fine.
Cyrus gets very confused when Cynthia shows up crying with the lake guardians awkwardly patting her back crying about Dawn being so young and why did the distortion world eat her? He is both very confused and very scared as Giratina is towering over him.
There’s a big flash light suddenly and everyone turns to see looking at least a year or 2 older in some weird blue outfit with… the galaxy team logo on it? Some Pokémon which should be extinct, and the… is that the missing subway boss from Unova.
Dawn looks 110% done mutters something like ‘Oh fuck right this shit’ then turns looks at Giratina and gives a mom look “HEY! NO YOUNG MAN BACK IN THE POKEBALL NOW!” pulling out some old Pokémon and giving him a look that makes Giratina bow his head and make a noise that sounds like ‘sorry mom’ and GOES INTO THE POKEBALL???
Cyrus is just frozen there trying to figure out what his life has begun when he gets kicked in the shin told ‘You great grandmother said your grounded stop trying to destroy the world asshole’ and then turns to Cynthia who is suddenly hugging her crying ‘I AM SO HAPPY YOUR ALIVE,WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED? WHY DO YOU LOOK OLDER? DID THE DISTORTION WORLD EAT YOU? HOW DO YOU HAVE GIRATINAS POKEBALL?’
Dawn just awkwardly drags Cynthia out of the distortion world trying to reassure Ingo who is giving Cynthia a verrryyy suspicious look like he’s ready to throw her into the void if she tries anything.
The galaxy team admins just watch as the kid they’ve fighting shows up in some odd version of their uniform looking older and so fucking done dragging the crying champion with her and the missing subway boss who she is calling her uncle… They have no fucking idea what the hell happened in there they were gone 20 minutes what the fuck?

The Ghost Queen's Twisted Advanture
hello guys here's the first chapter enjoy and please don't forget to comment. and If you have any questions please don't be shy to ask, I'm free 24/7
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8
CHAPTER 1
The last thing she remembered was looking into the two big red eyes of the angel of darkness itself, and now all she could see was darkness. Who is she? She is Persephone Remmington, the Pokemon Champion of Kanto and Johto, but you can call her just Percy for short. She was laying on something hard that much she could tell but the rest was pitch black, she was trying to feel her surroundings when she heard something. ‘What was that noise?’
“I better hurry up and find that uniform before someone spots me…” Percy heard someone say, “Urgggh… This lid weighs a ton! Try this on for size! Mya-ha!” And suddenly a flash of blue burned Percy’s eyes. ‘F-fire?!’
“Now to grab the goods… what?! You ain’t supposed to be awake!”
Now with the lid of whatever she was inside open, it took Percy’s eyes a bit to get used to the sudden light, and when they did what she saw didn’t help her confusion. She was in a room with f-floating coffins?! And the one who let her out was a talking… feline fire type?!
“What the bloody hell are you? How can you be talking?” She asked with a heavy British Accent.
“How… how DARE YOU! I’m Grim, sorcerer extraordinaire!” said the some form of blue Litten? “Tch. Whatever. You… human! Just gimme your uniform and be quick about it! ‘Cause if you don’t… you’re gonna regret it!”
It suddenly used Will-O-Wisp, Percy let out a gasp and got out of its way at the last second by jumping out of the coffin she was in. And just she realized that she was in totally different clothes. She was now dressed in a fancy long black robes, but on the bright side, she still had her travel bag.
“Hey, come on! I’m on a tight schedule here!” It said and used Will-O-Wisp again, so Percy did what anyone would do when a wild Pokemon attack them, she ran.
She ran through a hallway and a garden passed a classroom and kept running till she reached a library. When she caught her breath, she tried to remember how she ended up there.
She had gone to the Distortion World with Cynthia to stop Cyrus, the leader of the Team Galactic before he destroyed their whole universe. After they defeated him, Giratina appeared out of nowhere, Percy battled it with all she and her Pokemon had, and She finally managed to Master ball it. But then the rock she was standing on crumbled, the Masterball dropped from her hand and she fall into one of the portals with Mimikyu and- MIMIKYU!!
Percy’s hand instinctively went to her waist, thank Arceus she still had her Pokeball belt. She quickly grabbed Mimikyu’s Pokeball, she knew how much he hated being inside his Pokeball. “Come on out, Mimikyu!”
And in the blink of an eye, the Disguise Pokemon was out and about. His beady little eyes looked left and right in search of Percy and when he found her, he ran and jumped into her arms so fast she barely had time to catch him. “Yeah, yeah, I’m glad you’re okay too, buddy.” She said as she hugged him to her chest.
In her distracted state, she barely dodged the fireball that was coming their way, “Foolish human! Did you really think you could slip away from ME?” said the talking fire type, “Now, unless you wanna get burned to a crisp, take off that-“
“Ugh I’ve had enough of you, you little Impidimp.” She put Mimikyu down, “Mimikyu, shadow ball!” she commanded. Mimikyu, who already didn’t like the creature, who threw a fireball at his trainer for no reason, didn’t lose any time to follow that command.
The shadow ball hit its target and throw Grim across the library, “Mya-ha how did that rag doll do that?”
“Pray, distance yourself from our company, for what has transpired thus far was merely a prelude.” Said Percy with a smug grin.
“You-“ started fire feline but he suddenly got cut off when a whip wrapped around him “Me-YEOW! That hurt! What gives?” he said in pain.
“Consider it tough love.”
“Ah, I’ve found you at last. Splendid. I trust you’re one of this year’s new students.” Said the man with a Corviknight mask, who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. “My, were you ever eager to make your debut. And bringing a poorly trained familiar with you? That is a clear violation of the school’s rules.”
“As if I’d serve some lowly human! Now lemme go!” the fire type cut in.
“I would never deign to possess a Pokémon with such deplorable manners as yours.” Percy countered.
As if he didn’t hear her the weird Corviknight man kept talking, “Yes, yes. Rebellious familiars always say that. Do be quiet for a bit, won’t you?” he said as he muffled the feline’s mouth.
The weird man turned to Percy with a pout, “Dear me. Of all the students I’ve dealt with, you’re the first with temerity enough to open their own gate and step out of it. Does the very notion of patience elude you?” he shook his head. “No matter. Your orientation has already begun. Let us return to the Mirror Chamber.” He said as he started to push Percy towards what he called the Mirror Chamber with Mimikyu, who apparently wasn’t noticed by the man, following them.
“Well, I’ve never been known for my pati- wait! Did you say, student?!” Percy asked in shock.
“You awakened in a room full of gates, did you not? All of the students here at the campus arrived by passing through such gates.” Explained the masked man, “Although typically the students have restraint enough to wait until I open them before waking up.”
“I think the blue Litten blew the lid off mine…” Percy scratched the back of her head.
“Yes, the culprit appears to be that familiar of yours. You’re the one who insisted on bringing it, so curtailing its behavior is your responsibility!”
“ But he’s not one of mi-,”
“Now is not the time for such prattle. You’ve got a student orientation to attend! Go on, now. Make haste.”
She dug her heels in.
“Wait! Tell me, where am I? who are you?!” Percy asked loudly.
He looked at her curiously, “Hm? Have you not fully regained consciousness? The time-space teleportation must have addled your memories… well, these things happen, I suppose. I shall explain it to you while we walk.” He smiled. “ Truly, my magnanimity is boundless.”
As they kept walking the masked man began to explain.
“This is Night Raven College. It is an institution for students the world over who demonstrate a rare aptitude for magic. It is the most prestigious academy of its sort in all of Twisted Wonderland. And I am Dire Crowley. Having been entrusted with its care by the chairman, I serve as headmage.”
“Magic?!” Percy repeated. She was starting to think that her crazy theory about her being in a different universe was not as crazy as she originally thought.
“Only those who the Dark Mirror perceives as having a talent for magic are admitted to the college. Those who are selected are summoned to the campus through those “gates,” which can appear anywhere. A black carriage bearing one such gate should have come to meet you.
“Alas, my memories elude me. I find myself bereft of recollection, for naught do I recall beyond the fleeting moment when...” Percy frowned, she couldn’t finish her sentence. Remembering the distortion world and Giratina, she was not someone who got scared easily but even the memory of that monster was enough to make her shiver. Thankfully the headmage distracted her by pushing her on.
“Now, let us attend to your orientation.”
Crowley led her to the chamber where a number of people, also in robes like Percy’s, were conversing amongst themselves.
“Hey, does anyone know where the headmage went?” A boy that had a dye job that made his head look like a turnip asked the others. “He disappeared midway through the ceremony…”
“Some headmage he is.” She heard a floating tablet say.
“Maybe he had a tummyache?” A ruby-eyed and snow-haired boy suggested.
Crowley barged in, completely offended.
“I most certainly did not!”
“Ah, speak of the devil.” A short redhead noted as Crowley scolded them.
“If you must know, I was searching for the new student who’d failed to show up for orientation. We must move on with his sorting immediately!”
“Wait a second, his? The robes might make it a bit hard to tell, but you can’t really be thinking that I’m a boy, right?” Percy questioned as she looked around the room a horrible reality dawned on her. “Is this an all-boys school?!”
Crowley pushed her towards the mirror as she got grossed out at the prospect of being surrounded by teenage boys. Meanwhile, Mimikyu, who was not happy with the turn of events either started to glow with an angry blue aura and make the boys around him cower in fear.
“You are the only one who has yet to be assigned a dorm. Step up to the Dark Mirror, and be quick about it. I’ll watch your weasel."
Percy didn’t know what a weasel was and nor did she care at the moment. In her shocked state, she stepped before the mirror. An elegant mask appeared in glowing green flames and spoke to her.
“State your name.”
“Percy Remmington,” she said lightly, can’t even find it in herself to question how a mirror spoke.
“State your full name, please.” The mirror speaks again.
“Persephone Remmington.” She answered, this time a bit more loudly and sure of herself, with her shock slowly melting away.
“The nature of your soul is… unclear to me.”
“What did you just say?” Crowley exclaimed.
“I sense no magical power from this one,” the mirror stated. “Soundless. Colorless. Shapeless. Utterly vacant. Therefore, no dorm would be appropriate for her.”
The mirror turned black, and Percy felt the eyes of everyone in the room on her. She didn’t have social anxiety, but Mimikyu’s black appendages hug her leg to relax her anyway.
“Are you suggesting that the black carriage went to receive a person who cannot even use magic? But that is absurd! The student selection process has not erred once in its century of existence!”
“Hey! Did the mirror just say her?” one student pointed out loudly.
Crowley turned to her in surprise.
“What? That’s not possible either!"
Annoyed with this whole situation Percy removed her hood, revealing her shoulder-length blond locks and her clearly female dollish face. “Apparently it is very possible.”
The headmage looked like he was gonna have a heart attack, while several of the boys were a bit too happy for Mimikyu’s taste.
“Who is she?”
“She’s so hot! It wouldn’t be too bad if she sticks around.”
“Night Raven College is an all-boys school,” Crowley pondered out loud. “How could this have happened?”
He was cut off as the cat suddenly broke free.
“ME! Let ME have her seat!” He demanded. Crowley was displeased.
“Not so fast, you hyperactive weasel!”
“Unlike that girl, I can actually use magic! So let me be a student here! Look, I’ll show you! My spells’re the cat’s meow!”
The feline began to inhale, and Percy’s emerald green eyes widened as she realized what was about to happen. She wasn’t the only one as the redhead called out.
“Everyone, get down!”
Before flames exploded yet again from the feline, Percy managed to quickly grab Mimikyu and doge to the ground. Unfortunately, the boy with ruby eyes wasn’t as quick.
“AHHHHH! HELP! I’m on fire over here!”
“Someone catch that blasted animal before it sets the entire school ablaze!” Crowley demanded.
“Pardon me, esteemed Headmage, but would it not be wise to attend to your scorching student ere we proceed further?” Percy commented sassily then shook her head and reached to her belt, that boy was so lucky that she had a water type out of PC before she fall into that portal. she pulled out a Pokeball and yelled, “Vaporeon, water gun!”
She threw the red and white orb as the bubble jet Pokemon emerged in a flash of white light, before blasting a forceful shot of water from its mouth putting out the fires on both the room and the boy’s butt.
“Phew,” he let out a breath in relief, then turned to the blonde girl. “Thank you.”
Percy kneeled down to Vaporeon’s level with Mimikyu now on her shoulder, and scratched her ears, which looked like fins, “Good job, girl!” she then picked her up and turned her to face the boy, “Don’t thank me, thank her. She’s the one who saved your butt… literally”
The ruby-eyed boy looked hesitant at first, but he was cooing at Vaporeon the next second, “Thank you very much, little monster!” he then looked at Percy with sparkles in his eyes and she thought he looked like an overly happy oshawott. “She’s adorable!” he squicked.
“Vaporeon!” said the bubble jet Pokemon lifting her head with pride, and Percy translated for her. “She says ‘thank you’”
Then both the Pokemon and the girl turned to the source of the chaos, who looked hesitant now. The water fox was small in size, but she had just effortlessly put out a fire. Also, both females had a very intimidating look on their faces. The feline screamed, firing off more blue flames. Percy let Vaporeon jump from her arms as she gave her a command, “Vaporeon, use hydro pump!”
The water type blasted a huge volume of water from her mouth again but this time it was even more pressure, hitting the feline and making him slide back a few meters. Vaporeon then turned the hydro pump to fire and put out the burning room, which unfortunately gave grim enough time to get off of the ground and start running. Percy gritted her teeth at him and turned to the headmage, “Don’t worry, we’ll take care of him. Come on Vaporeon!” with that they started to run after the troublemaker.
Crowley watched Percy go as most of the students got out of the fire breathing feline’s way. The headmage called out again. “Someone assist her.”
“Ugh. Can I go now, or…?” an older-looking boy with emerald green eyes with a scar complained.
“Oh?” the turnip head from before teased. “I thought you fancied yourself a hunter. Go and help yourself to that plump little morsel!”
“Too much effort. Do it yourself.”
“Allow me to handle this, headmage Crowley.” A glasses-wearing, silver-haired boy said. “If none of you are up to the task of catching a small animal, I will accept the responsibility.”
“WTG Azul.” Said the floating tablet. “Rackin’ up those participation credits.”
“I’m sorry, were my instructions unclear?!” Crowley demanded.
“Preeetty sure you can handle catching one mangy weasel all on your lonesome there, headmage.” The green-eyed boy sighed.
“How many times do I gotta say it? I’m Grim, spellcaster extraordinaire! I am not a weasel!”
Percy still didn’t know what a weasel was and she still didn’t care, she just rolled her eyes and gave her water-type Pokemon a command, “ Vaporeon, get close to him with quick attack and then use water gun!”
With her trainer’s command, Vaporeon started to move so fast the others had trouble seeing her movements, when she got close enough she opened her mouth and blasted Grim with pressured water, which left him dizzy, then Percy gave another command. “Now jump and use Aqua tail.”
Vaporeon’s tail started to glow with a light blue aura, with water swirling around the tip, and she jumped and hit Grim with the power of a vicious wave in a raging storm. The sheer force of the attack made Grim pass out instantly.
Azul turned to the redhead and gestured to the passed-out feline, “Aren’t you a spunky little fellow? Riddle, would you be so kind…?”
“Furry miscreant.” Riddle started. “ I will abide no rule-breaking. You will be judged by my hand. Off With Your Head!”
A Black and red, heart-shaped collar suddenly appeared on Grim. when he came to himself a second later, he started to struggle. “MYAH?! What is this?!”
“The Queen of Hearts’ Rule 23: ‘One must never bring a cat to a formal affair.’” Riddle explained. “ Your very presence here is a violation of order. You will vacate these premises immediately.”
“But I ain’t a cat either!” Grim protested. “Don’t you try’n collar me! I’ll burn it right off! Huh…? Wh-what gives? My fire ain’t workin’!”
Riddle smirked. “Until I deign to remove that collar, you won’t be using any magic. You’re naught but a pet cat now.”
“M-meoWHAT?! I ain’t nobody’s pet- NOTHING!”
“Oh, you’ve nothing to worry about there. I certainly have no interest in having you as a pet. The collar will disappear once you’re removed from campus.”
“Ha-HA good show as always, Riddle.” Azul complimented. “Your signature spell locks down any magic. It’s quite handy. I’ve just GOT to have it- ah, I mean, I’ve just got to have respect for it.”
Percy watched the interaction between the two boys while taking Vaporeon in her arms again, and from the perfected customer service smile on the silver-haired one’s face, she already knew not to trust him. Both Mimikyu and Vaporeon growl with distrust too.
Crowley marched up to Percy, “Persephone! Was I not clear that you are expected to take responsibility for your familiar? Now discipline your-”
Percy cut him off with an angry look, “Firstly, address me as Miss Remmington if you please. Secondly, I bear no obligation to assume any responsibility, for I have made it abundantly clear on numerous occasions that HE does not belong to my charge!” She yelled.
The headmage’s eyes widened.
“Furthermore!” she yelled once more as she started to scratch Vaporeon’s head. “I find it deeply offensive that you would even consider the notion that a Pokémon under my tutelage would exhibit such uncouth behavior. Hmph!” she turned her head in anger.
The masked man coughed in embarrassment. “Then I shall have it expelled from campus. I shall even spare it from being served as dinner. My, but I AM kind…. Someone take this away, please.”
“Nooooo! Let me gooooo!” Grim struggled as he was taken away. “You fools better remember my name! cause I’m gonna go down in the annals of magic history! Just you wait!”
“Hmm, I almost find myself on the verge of pity for him,” Percy said to herself, as she watched him go. She never liked seeing a sad Pokemon, no matter how problematic they may be.
To make his partner feel better, Mimikyu snuggled her face from his favorite seat, which happens to be her right shoulder. Percy giggled in response and scratched his head and hugged Vaporeon, who nuzzled her head on her trainer’s chest, “Thank you, guys.”
Crowley studied the Pokemons and the trainer interact carefully.
“I must say, for a magicless person, your beasts are quite impressive. And I’ve never seen a summoning method like that before.”
“Really?” and with that, the bad feeling comes back, “I can understand Mimikyu, but you never seen a Vaporeon? They’re pretty well-known Pokemons.”
“Pokemon? I’ve never heard that term used to describe summoned monsters.” Crowley stated.
“You don’t know what a Pokemon is?” Percy looked at him with a pleading look, begging for him to say he was just joking.
The headmage cleared his throat, “Moving on from that quite the unexpected fracas. I hereby declare that orientation has concluded. Housewardens, please escort your students back to the dorms…. Hm? Come to think of it, I don’t see Housewarden Draconia of the House Diasomnia anywhere.”
“And that surprises you? Dude’s a total recluse.” The boy with the green eyes said.
“Wait a sec… did anyone even invite him?” the ruby-eyed boy, whose butt was previously on fire asked.
“If you’re that worried about him missing out, maybe you should have told him yourself.” Said the turnip head.
“Maybe, but I don’t know him too well either…”
Several students muttered fearfully, a small, pale, magenta, and black-haired male that weirdly reminded Percy of a zoobat, stepped forward.
“Ah. Just as I’d expected. I figured I’d come down and see for myself whether Malleus had made an appearance. Bur once again, he was evidently not informed that his presence was required at an official ceremony.”
The silver and redhead tried their hands at a poor excuse of an apology but it was so obvious that it was forced.
“No matter. All who were assigned to House Diasomnia, follow me. I just hope he doesn’t sulk about this…”
The students began to file out with their respective dorms, leaving Percy and the Pokemon alone with the headmage.
“Well, Miss Remmington.” He started, “This is a most unfortunate of events. I’m afraid that you will not be attending Night Raven College after all. Surely you realize that I cannot very well admit a student with no magical ability to my academy.”
“I am perfectly content with this outcome.” And she was, the only thing she wanted to do was go home and have a long bath.
“But worry not. The Dark Mirror will see you safely home. Now, step into a gate, and visualize the place from whence you came.”
Percy returned Vaporeon to her Pokeball, took Mimikyu in her arms, closed her eyes shut, and followed the headmage’s instructions as she hugged her partner tightly. She hoped, she really hoped this mirror could send her home. The home she had since she was five, the home she rebuilt from scratch, the home she shared with all of her Pokemon friends, with her family. She thought of every single memory she had inside it, all the bad ones, good ones, funny ones, and even the sad ones.
“O Dark Mirror! Return this soul to where it belongs!”
The mirror was silent. Crowley coughed.
“L-let us, er… try this again. O Dark Mirror! Return this soul-“
The mirror cut him off.
“There is no such place.”
“What?”
“There is no such place in this world where tis soul belongs. None.”
“How can that be? My, but today is a veritable cavalcade of impossible phenomena!”
Percy’s shoulders fell in disappointment, and she sighed, “Allow me to extend a warm embrace to the existence I lead.” She mumbled to herself. Of course, it couldn’t send her home, that would be too easy. When did something ever go the way she hoped anyway?
“This has never happened throughout my long tenure. I must confess that I am at a loss.” The masked man said.
“Prepare yourself for an abundance of such encounters, for now that our paths have converged, they shall be plentiful.” Percy said grumpily.
“Tell me: From what land do you hail?”
“I’m from Lavender Town in Kanto.” She simply answered, still grumpily, while letting her head fall on top of Mimikyu’s stuffed head.
“I’m afraid I am not familiar with such place. I am intimately acquainted with the origins of every student who has ever come here, and yet… This mysterious homeland of yours eludes me.”
Percy would appreciate it if he shut his trap for a moment because she really wanted to sulk in peace. But no such luck, instead he threw his arm over her shoulders and started to push her gently to the way they came from, “Let us go to the library and look it up, shall we? I’m sure we can find something to help clear up this situation there.”
“I implore you to reconsider your unwavering certainty, for such assurance may not be warranted in your case.” Said Percy without lifting her head but kept walking.
&
They spend an hour inside the library but both Percy and headmage spend that time doing totally different things. The headmage spend it searching through almost half of the books in the library, and Percy spend it sitting on the floor hugging Mimikyu and trying not to freak out, while Mimikyu rubbed her back with his two black appendages.
At last, Crowley closed the last book and said, “ Just as I’d suspected. Nothing.”
“As I previously foretold, my words have come to fruition,” Percy murmured from her place on the ground.
“Not only is your homeland not listed on any map from any point in history. Now, are you QUITE sure that you come from such a place? That wasn’t some sort of lie, or jape? Because if so, the only explanation is that you’ve come from another planet.”
“Not from another planet, from another reality.” She told him, lying wouldn’t help anyone in this situation.
“What?”
“Allow me to elucidate the sequence of events that transpired. In an act of utmost valor and camaraderie, I offered my assistance to my dear colleague Cynthia in apprehending malevolent individuals who harbored intentions of obliterating our very fabric of existence. These nefarious wrongdoers sought to exploit the enigmatic realm known as the distortion world—a parallel dimension that mirrors our own but manifests in a peculiar and distorted manner. It serves as an interlink between myriad realities, bridged by intricate portals. Alas, I inadvertently traversed one such portal and, lo and behold, found myself awakening in this unfamiliar domain.” Percy basically info dumped the poor man.
After a long silence, Crowley finally talked again, “You seem awfully accepting of that answer.”
“In the realm from whence I hail, the existence of alternate realities is a widely acknowledged truth, ingrained within the fabric of our collective consciousness. We possess erudite scholars who devote their endeavors to the meticulous study of these divergent realms. Remarkably, there are even Pokémon entities known to transcend the boundaries of worlds, traversing the interstitial spaces betwixt realities with graceful aplomb.”
“Ah, I see. Well regardless, there doesn’t seem to be any way to send you home. Do you have some form of identification on you?”
Percy took off her bag and opened it, thankfully nothing was missing. Her parasol, sunscreen, sunglasses, black sun hat, weather goggles that looked like the eyes of a sableye, diving mask, Z Crystal pouch, Z Ring, Mega Brooch, Dynamax Band, Pokedex, Rotomphone, Poketch, PC that contains the rest of her Pokemon, camera, a jar full of Pokemon food, a container of various types of berries, a nightgown, spare clothes and finally her Trainer ID. Crowley sighed.
“I cannot have someone with no aptitude for magic bumbling about my magic academy. And yet, as an educator, I loath to expel a young person without a cent to their name, or any ability to contact their guardian… Truly, my grace is boundless. Hmmmmm…” He thought for a moment. “Ah! There is a vacant building on this campus. It was, in fact, used as a dorm a long time ago. With proper cleaning, it should be habitable enough. Out of the kindness of my heart, I will allow you to live there for the time being. In the meantime, we will investigate other ways to send you home. Dear me, but I am a gracious man indeed! A model educator one might say. Well then, I shall take you to your dorm straight away. It is an older building, but it has plenty of… character, one might say.”
Percy and Mimikyu looked at each other for a second, then Percy turned to the headmage again and asked, “Does it have a big garden?” Because if she was gonna stay here for a long time, she needed a big space for all of her Pokemon’s habitats.
“Very big,” Crowley answered and hold out his hand to help her get up.
Percy accepted his help and silently said, “Very well,"

rewrote the Scrangle version of THE ENTIRE INTRO TO P:LA up until Laventon's pokemon run away!!
and then realized after getting so far that it was REALLY LONG and I'm therefore very unlikely to ever draw the WHOLE thing
I used bits from 2 earlier drafts of both these scenes but they ended up pretty different. Most importantly, THIS is (mostly) canon again
Tumblr media
oh and as usual it's in informal script form bc I always start these hoping they will end up as comics. Enjoy lol
________________________________
Arceus: Welcome to my realm.
Arceus: I am called Arceus.
Arceus: What is thy name?
[pause...]
Arceus: Scrangle...
Arceus: Thine power...
Arceus: It is more vast and destructive than even Giratina.
Arceus: Yet, it serves no purpose.
Arceus: That power threatened to obliterate this very universe.
Arceus: I was forced to act hastily, to protect the world which I hold dear.
[pause...]
Arceus: Perhaps I pitied thee, blind and thrashing aimlessly through worlds which thou wouldst never know.
Arceus: ...or perhaps I have selfishly treated thee as a proxy for Giratina…
[pause...]
Arceus: ...What's done is done. The threat is no more.
Arceus: I have taken thine power. But I have given to thee a new form, with which thou can know this world and walk within it.
Arceus: Soon, thou shalt be among humans, and the wonderous creatures they call "Pokemon."
[pause...]
Arceus: Scrangle...
Arceus: Seek out all pokemon, and thou shalt find me once more.
Laventon: Wake up!
Laventon: Ohh...do wake up, won't you?
Laventon: Are you alive, my girl?!
Scrangle: [jolts upright] HYEUH?!
Scrangle: [scrambling backwards on all fours in an almost-Krabby-walk, looking around rapidly] GH--!
Scrangle: [awkwardly, frantically struggles to stand up] [manages to get on her feet, barely] [stumbles forward, grabbing at their own face desperately, sometimes seeming to pull at it] Gaah..!!!
Scrangle: [suddenly they freeze]
Scrangle: [squeezes eyes shut, grabs head hard] AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHH....!
Laventon: [flinches, covering ears]
[Scrangle is silently frozen w their eyes shut for a long moment, hunched over]
Scrangle: ........[EYES SNAP OPEN]
Scrangle: [yells at the sky] ARCEUS!!!!!!
Laventon: [jolts, goes wide eyed]
Scrangle: [still to the sky] YOU COWARD!!!
Scrangle: FACE ME IN MY TRUE FORM!!!!!! PUT ME BACK!!!!!!!
Scrangle: [flailing wildly, manages to displace a bit of sand] rrrrRRRGGHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!!!!! [COUGH COUGH] TAKE THAT!!!!!!!! [HUFF, HUFF]
Scrangle: I'LL TEAR APART YOUR PRECIOUS UNIVERSE FROM THE *INSIDE!!!!!!* DO YOU HEAR ME???!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVEN'T STOPPED ME!!!!!!!!!
Scrangle: [huff, huff, huff]
[Laventon looks on in shock and horror. He takes a step to back away, but Cyndaquil makes a cute noise that gets Scrangles attention]
[Scrangle abruptly turns her unsettlingly bright eyes toward him and stares strangely.]
Laventon: Eep!
[She walks up to him. Hes too nervous to move. She looks at him, squints at him, and then abruptly grabs at his cheeks, nose, and hat, all while maintaining a very serious expression]
Laventon: Ack!! What are you doing?!
[Scrangle scrunches her expression, and then pushes on Laventon's face with their palm]
L: Agh!! Please, stop that--! Gah!
[Cyndaquil quick attacks Scrangle's legs, knocking them over]
[Scrangle lays there, completely stunned. cannot fathom what to make of this. Laventon leans over them.]
S: [faintly] ....What......?
L: Oh, dear...I think you frightened Cyndaquil, so it attacked you. Are you all right...?
S: ....
L: ...Miss, I think you must have hit your head quite hard when you fell from the sky. You seem terribly confused. Do you have any aquaintences around to help you...?
[Scrangle blinks up at him, blank-faced]
L: Anywhere you could stay...?
[Scrangle just continues staring]
L: Goodness gracious, this is a proper pickle indeed...perhaps, since it's an emergency, the medical corps would be willing to help...I couldn't possibly abandon a person in such need...!
[While he was fretting, Scrangle sat up and began trying to touch and grab at the pokemon, which had gathered around them. The pokemon keep dodging her hands, eventually making enough noise to get the Professors attention again]
L: Oh my, I'd completely forgotten! I had just caught up to these three runaway pokemon when you tumbled out of the sky...
L: It's almost as if they knew you'd appear here!
L: Ah, but do you even know what a pokemon is...?
[Scrangle gives him and then the pokemon a perplexed look, and then goes back to trying to grab at them]
L: You...you don't? You truly have traveled a long way, haven't you?
L: Pokemon are the mysterious creatures that we live alongside here...these three Pokemon belong to me!
L: Oh, yes, and what might your name be?
[Scrangle looks like she might just stare at him again, but finally answers]
S: Scrangle.
L: My, what an interesting name! I've never heard anything quite like it before.
L: Oh, but I do apologize! I haven't even introduced myself! My name is Laventon. I'm something of a Pokemon Professor!
L: That is to say, I'm a scholar seeking to deepen our understanding of Pokemon.
L: Yes, Pokemon such as these three here, [he gestures to the starters, standing just out of arm's reach of Scrangle's place sitting in the sand] whi--
[the three starters all run away]
L: Oh, blast and bother! My darling Pokemon! Why must you run from me again?!
L: [turns back to Scrangle] I'm terribly sorry, but do you think you're well enough to help me round them up? I beg you!
[He holds out a hand to help Scrangle stand up, but she just stares at it, and then at him. He gets antsy as this drags on, until he finally gives up and turns back toward where the pokemon ran off]
L: [running after the pokemon] Wait, you three! Waiiit!

Super Polymerization Cynthia fuses with Stardust Dragon
Tumblr media
"It... It hasn't even flinched, I can tell it hasn't taken any significant damage. Even from my strongest pokemon, Garchomp is the only one able to fight but is there any hope? Is-Is this the power of a god?" Cynthia asked looking up at the shadowy figure hovering over her. Black tendrils pulsed and oozed ghostly energy and a otherworldly pressure pressed down on both Cynthia and her pokemon.
Tumblr media
"˙˙˙ǝɯ ʇuᴉoddɐsᴉp noʎ ˙˙˙sɹǝuᴉɐɹʇ ɟo ǝlɔɐuuᴉd ǝɥʇ ɯoɹɟ ǝɹoɯ pǝʇɔǝdxǝ I ¿uoᴉdɯɐɥɔ op uɐɔ noʎ ʇɐɥʇ llɐ sᴉɥʇ sI" The legendary pokemon spoke in a strange tongue but its mouth made no noise. It was like It was speaking directly to her mind forcing the champion to her knees as she felt her mind assaulted by Giratina's telepathy.
Tumblr media
"Get out of my HEAD!" She yelled eyes clenched shut as she felt her mind split apart. She turned and caught a quick glimpse of her pokemon all beaten and exhausted from the battle. They all writhed in pain as Giratina's dark aura festered and taunted their lesser minds as it did to Cynthia. "No! Leave them out of this!" Cynthia groaned fighting through the pain and forcing herself to stand even as her legs threatened to buckle beneath her body. A light unlike anything ever seen in Giratina's distortion world began to eminate from Cynthia's body. The champion felt herself turn to pure energy as spiraling gears formed around her. Everything was slowing down as if time itself was breaking.
The bonds of her pokemon brought forth a new energy a shooting star of hope carried by the wings of an ancient dragon. White scales and blue gems formed across her body followed by a majestic pair of wings sprouting from her back. She could feel Giratina's hold on her mind fade and the only thing she could think about was ensuring the safety of her team. Her body became fused with that of a dragon's her claws and tail sharp and easily cleaved through Giratina's tendrils as the God attempted to stop her transformation.
"Grr... My heart is beating so fast, I could hardly keep up with your movements while watching you battle but now you seem... slow" Cynthia said as she decided to test her new abilities. As Giratina launched a shadow ball at her she flashed away launching herself into the sky with her wings. Opening her mouth bright flashes of plasma spewed from her mouth as her chest expanded with one deep breath. "This is over. COSMIC FLARE!" She screamed opening her jaws and unleashing a massive burst of energy.
Giratina was overwhelmed by the light which burned away its shadowy form and the very ground beneath it. The ray of light pierced the viel of the distortion world as Giratina vanished into nothingness once again returning Cynthia and her team back to Sinnoh where an unconscious Cyrus and a very confused Trainer was waiting for them.
"I guess I have alot of explaining to do..." Cynthia said before turning to her wounded pokemon. "But they come first." She said quickly returning them to their pokeballs and soaring off to the nearest Pokémon center.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Seekers of Soul
[Chapter 24] (31 Pages)
<< First | < Previous | Next >
Will lays out the current state of the The Humans Movement, and our trio finally attends the long-awaited magic show!
-
“Welcome, everyone! To the first meeting of The Humans Movement!”
Nia perks up at Will’s words, and another wave of cheering and excited murmuring erupts from the crowd around them.
“What a warm reception!” Will says, smiling. The crowd bubbles with laughter. “Thank you everyone for coming to join us today. I never expected such a great turnout for our first meeting! For years I’ve wanted to unite the humans who have found themselves here in the Pokemon world, and as we can all see there are a great number of us now. Even more out in the world who couldn’t join us today! And as you likely know, my goal is to lead every single one of us back home.”
Nia has to stop herself from squeezing the rookidee in her lap, already feeling the tingle of tears building behind her eyes. This is it. This is how she’ll get back to everyone she left behind.
“Now,” Will says, with a clap of his hands. Even in the large space it seems loud, and it’s only then that Nia realizes how quiet everyone has grown, eagerly listening to the yamask speak. “While we’re still figuring out many of the details, I’m more than happy to share what we know so far about our situation. I’m sure most of you have wondered time and again how in the world this all happened. How did we go from regular, everyday people to living in a world entirely different from our own? And as unbelievable, magical creatures with fantastic powers, too!”
There’s a quiet muttering of agreement from the crowd, and Nia finds herself nodding along. Some days she wakes up and still can’t believe all of this is really happening. Pokemon, magic powers, stuck in a world entirely different from her own.
“While we are still in the process of figuring out exactly how we came to this world, we are positive that both our transfer to this world and our change in form is the work of a Pokemon.”
The crowd’s volume rises again, and Will raises his hands to calm the noise. “Everyone here has seen the amazing powers that Pokemon wield, and even the Pokemon themselves do not know the full extent of every individual’s abilities. Only a powerful Pokemon—or multiple Pokemon—could change the laws of nature itself and turn us into creatures so foreign to humankind.”
Nia frowns. Well, when it’s said like that it seems sort of obvious, but all of the Pokemon she’s spoken to so far have seem just as baffled by humans showing up in the Pokemon world as the humans themselves.
“While this may seem surprising,” Will continues. “We believe such an extraordinary power could only be held by the legendary Pokemon of this world. All accounts agree that these legendary beings had control over elements as great as time itself, that they held power over space and sky and sea. We are confident that the power of a legendary is the only one great enough to shift reality so completely.”
“But I thought the legendaries were dormant?” Someone shouts off to their right.
Will nods. “As far as most are concerned, they are. However, we have reason to believe that some legendary Pokemon are still active, and simply staying out of sight from the public.”
A nervous hush falls over the room, and Nia hugs Junie closer to herself. A legendary is the reason they all changed into Pokemon, and now they’re hiding away from everyone? But why? Didn’t they used to be, like…deities? Gods? Why would they be in hiding?
What would they be hiding from?
“Legendary Pokemon haven’t been seen for decades,” Tobias protests loudly to Nia’s left, standing to catch Will’s attention. Nia shrinks away from the hundreds of eyes that turn their way. “Even if they are hiding, what makes you think that they’re behind this? Why would they even want to bring humans to our world?”
Will nods, slowly, but doesn’t seem bothered by Tobias’ aggressive tone. “Yes, while it seems like an odd choice for such powerful beings to make, unfortunately we do have a…suspicion. As to why this might be the case. Keep in mind it’s just a theory for now, but we have very good reason to believe it a valid concern.”
Tobias grudgingly flops into his seat to listen, and the crowd falls into a tense silence.
“It is not a concern about all of the legendary Pokemon so much as it is about one in particular. There is a legendary,” Will pauses, almost hesitant. “Who is rarely spoken of, even among the Pokemon of this world: Giratina.”
Nia’s head snaps up, and she exchanges a look with Tobias. Giratina? The terrifying Pokemon they’d discussed with Fliss the day before?
“Giratina was once a revered legendary Pokemon,” Will explains, echoing the braviary’s words. “A guardian over the borders between different dimensions. Different worlds. But he was banished to the dimensional rift, his own realm, for violently attacking another legendary. He was the guardian of this world’s borders, and as such we believe that he guarded the Pokemon world from the human world as well. According to stories he still resides in the limbo between dimensions, fighting to escape and enact his revenge. As such, we suspect that he may be behind both the disappearance of the other legendaries as well as the appearance of humans in the Pokemon world.”
The crowd explodes into a babble of sound as Pokemon call out worried questions and turn to each other with fearful expressions. Nia frowns and watches Will patiently wait out the wave. She’d suggested something similar to Will’s theory on the flight to Ghatha, but she hadn’t actually thought it could be related to how they got here, or how they would return home. Could Giratina really be behind everything?
Eventually, Will once again raises his hands for silence. The noise slowly dies down.
“I don’t tell you this to alarm you,” Will says, tone soothing. “But just as a precaution. Giratina may be hoping to bring over enough humans to somehow weaken the barriers and his own curse so he can break free once again. We know very little for certain, but we do know that he cannot be trusted. Over the years, a few humans have reported glimpsing a large creature with red eyes following them through reflections—in water, in moonstone and metal and other reflective surfaces. Reflections are Giratina’s one window into our world. We suspect that he is attempting to contact humans, hoping to persuade them into helping him. Do not listen to him.”
Nia holds Junie closer, staring up at Will with wide eyes. Being stalked by an evil deity through reflections? That’s something straight out of a horror movie!
“Can he hurt us?” Someone calls, voice high with panic.
“We don’t believe he can physically touch someone through reflections, no,” Will responds. “The few reports we’ve gathered have only spoken of him watching the humans or, even more rarely, attempting to speak with them. We advise that if this happens to you, you leave the area of the reflective surface as soon as possible and contact me to let me know about the situation.”
Will’s assurance seems to soothe the worst of the crowd’s fear, and Nia slumps in her seat, relieved.
“However,” Will says, smiling once again. “While Giratina himself is certainly not on our side, he may still help us out regardless. I have been assembling a team, made up of both humans and Pokemon, in order to find a way back to the human world, and they suspect that if Giratina could find a way to bring us here, he may be the key to finding our way back.”
“That makes sense,” Nia whispers, exchanging a hopeful look with Junie.
The murmuring has picked up again, but noticeably lighter in tone this time. After a few moments, someone closer to the front of the crowd raises a hesitant arm—tentacle?—and Will nods at them with an encouraging smile. They say something too quiet to hear.
“Ah, yes,” Will says, loud enough to catch the room’s attention once again. “The issue of everyone’s missing memories.”
Nia straightens up.
“Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be a foolproof method for recovering them,” Will says. “And considering that it’s a consistent issue for every human who shows up in the Pokemon world, we believe it to be a purposeful choice. Perhaps Giratina thinks taking away everyone’s memories would make them more susceptible to trusting him or helping him in some way.”
Nia feels a spark of anger light in her belly. Taking something as precious as their memories just to try and manipulate them is a special kind of low.
“Regardless,” Will continues, “While some humans have regained their memories over time, there doesn’t appear to be a reliable method for recovering them. We’re hopeful that they will either return to everyone with time as we figure out how to return home, or that our eventual return to the human world will reverse the process.”
“How long will it take before we can go back to our world?” Someone yells from the back of the auditorium.
Will shoots a sympathetic look in that direction. “While we believe we are well on our way to finding the answer, it will still take some time. I ask for your patience as we figure everything out. I know it’s hard, and many of us are still feeling far too alone in this strange place, far from home—”
There’s a dip in the mood of the room as everyone shifts and nods quietly at his words.
“—But that is part of the reason I wanted to form an organization for us humans,” Will continues. “While this is all confusing and at times frightening, it helps to have fellow humans around who understand. This way, everyone can know that they are not alone. We are new to this world, but as our numbers grow, so does our strength.”
Will pauses, something in his expression growing darker. “Even when the Pokemon of this world turn on us, we will always have each other. I’m sure you have all been made aware that humans have become a source of blame for the problems of this world.”
Nia frowns, glancing again at Tobias as August and Maggie’s words come back to her. She hasn’t really dealt with any harassment or blame in Bethoc’s Haven, but from the way that the Pokemon around her shift and wince, some even making angry growls of agreement, she’s the outlier here.
“While this region has been less affected by natural disasters,” Will says, floating across the stage as if pacing slowly from one end to the other. “The entire world is clearly being affected by something, regardless. Along with floods and earthquakes and droughts, there is the increasing number of mystery dungeons, the silence from the Pokemon legends, and everyone’s inability to evolve. The Pokemon who were born here are scared because of these changes. We, too, are a change—a strange group that began to show up just as these problems surfaced.”
“However,” Will continues, voice hard as steel. “Remember that none of this is our fault. Could we truly cause such widespread issues, when we didn’t even ask to be brought here in the first place?”
The crowd reacts to Will’s tone, many of them shaking their heads while a couple of Pokemon shout loudly at the stage. Will takes a visible, deep breath, and the crowd quiets to listen to his next words.
“We are not to blame,” Will repeats, softer. “We simply want to go home. However, until that can become a reality, I want to make sure every human has a place they can feel safe, somewhere they can call home. To accomplish this, I will be opening my own home here in the Pokemon world to all humans. If you have nowhere else to go, you will be free to join me and the others living and working at my side in our little community. You are not required to come, of course, but I don’t want any human to feel unsafe or alone if I can help it.”
Nia smiles, even more warmed by Will’s compassion than she was before. For a moment she imagines going to this community herself, being surrounded by other humans like Junie and Will and maybe even helping them find a way back home. But…
Nia glances at Tobias. The charmander is watching the yamask with a furrowed brow, arms crossed and eyes narrowed. Despite how annoyingly cynical he can be, she still committed to being Tobias’ partner while she’s in this world. Besides, she enjoys her job and all of the Pokemon at the Lexym Guild; she doesn’t want to leave them quite yet. She can just go visit Will and his group later on!
“However, for those of you who already have obligations or somewhere to stay, we are also creating a mailing list to send out updates and important information,” Will adds.
Nia perks up. Oh, she’s definitely signing up for that!
“The booths will still be running in the main hall for a while yet,” Will continues, “But there will be a new table set up in the center of the room once we are finished here. Go there to get the location of the open community or to sign up for our mailing list, where we will keep you updated on the developments in our research as well as with resources and news regarding The Humans Movement.”
The chatter in the room picks up again, excited this time, and Junie leans back to ask Nia, “You signing up for that?”
“Yup!”
Junie nods, smiling. “Then I will too! I like to stay in the loop on things.”
Tobias snorts, still watching Will like the ghost Pokemon will start attacking them at any second.
“You’re still suspicious of him?” Nia asks, exasperated.
“If anything, I trust him less,” Tobias grumbles.
“Why?” Junie chirps, sounding genuinely curious.
Tobias is silent for a few moments. Then, he shrugs. “He just…feels a bit too put-together. And he’s still being vague, too. Something about him just feels off.”
“Oh, that’ll hold up in court,” Nia mumbles. Tobias shoots her a glare while Junie giggles.
“I do have one more announcement to make before letting you all go back to the main hall,” Will calls with another clap of his hands. Slowly, the room quiets to listen.
The yamask’s smile is excited now. “I’m sure many of you have heard of the performance being put on in the plaza later this evening by The Fire Breathers. They’re an amazing magic and performance troupe, and just what we could all use after such a long, stressful day. I spoke with them the other night, and they were kind enough to offer a free, private showing beforehand for the members of The Humans Movement right here in the Convention Center!”
There’s an excited burst of applause and cheering at that.
Nia joins them. “Now we won’t even have to pay to see them!”
“At least he did something helpful,” Tobias grumbles.
Junie laughs and joins in on the cheering while Nia just rolls her eyes with a smile. Between Will’s confident reassurance regarding their eventual return to the human world and this news about the magic show, she’s on cloud nine! Even Tobias’ usual grouchiness can’t put a damper on her mood.
Will raises his hands for quiet, and the noise dies down to a low, eager clamor.
“The show will be held in this very room,” The yamask says, looking pleased by the crowd’s excitement. “Just as the sun begins to set in an hour or so. Until then, feel free to visit any booths you missed before, enjoy the delicious food, or even step outside for some fresh air! Just be sure to grab a tag from Nero out front so he knows to let you back in. He’s the large, purple nidoking you may have seen on your way in.”
At that, Will bows and turns to leave the stage, and the room fills with chatter again as Pokemon stand, stretch, and turn to make their way out of the room and back into the hall.
“C’mon, we need to sign up for the newsletter before the line gets too long!” Nia says, hurrying their trio into the flow of the crowd. “I don’t want to miss out on the new developments down the road.”
“Like he’ll have any,” Tobias growls. “He still didn’t give you guys any solid answers.”
“Just because he doesn’t have the answers yet doesn’t mean he won’t later on,” Nia counters, giving Tobias a frown. “He’s doing more than anyone else is to get us all home! And he sounded like he was pretty confident about it, too.”
Tobias makes a doubtful noise in his throat that Nia pointedly ignores in favor of leading them to the table Will mentioned to sign up for the mailing list. She’s getting better at writing in the Pokemon language, and writes Nia the Riolu in wobbly but mostly-readable handwriting. After that, she sheepishly hands the stick of graphite over to Tobias so he can write down the Lexym guild’s location without it taking ten minutes. Junie’s own handwriting isn’t much better, considering she’s writing with her beak and tiny feet. From there, the three of them make their way back into the main hall, then pause.
“I think we got to all of the booths,” Nia says, looking around. “What did you guys want to do until the magic show?”
“I’m going outside,” Tobias growls immediately, shifting away from a brown mule-like Pokemon crowding into his bubble of personal space. “Can’t even breathe in here.”
“Fresh air sounds nice,” Nia agrees, while Junie chirps her agreement and hops onto the riolu’s shoulder.
The three of them weave their way back to the entrance, out the front door and back into the late-afternoon sun. The warmth on her face is nice combined with the cool, salty air, and Nia smiles as she tilts her face up with a deep breath. When she opens her eyes, blinking against the brightness, Tobias is already speaking with the giant purple Pokemon guarding the doorway—a nidoking, Will said—and accepting three little tags that must be their ticket back into the Convention Center. Tobias rejoins them, handing over the tickets, and Nia takes hers with a word of thanks.
“It’s pretty busy out here, too,” Nia notes, looking out over the marketplace that’s been set up. It’s just as busy as it was when they arrived earlier in the day, with Pokemon moving between stalls, talking and snacking as they shop amongst the merchants. “Might be a good time to check everything out, though.”
“You can go buy cheap junk if you want to,” Tobias snorts. “I’ve had enough interaction for the next year.”
With that, the charmander turns back to the Convention Center, plopping down against the side of the towering building. His tail flame is bright against the heavy shade cast there. Nia can’t really blame him for being done socializing for the day and needing a break. Even she’s kind of exhausted, and she loves talking to people!
Nia hums, watching the charmander settle in for what looks like a short nap. “What do you want to do, Junie? You wanna rest with Tobias, or—”
“Let’s go check out the wares!” Junie trills, jumping atop Nia’s head and pointing a wing out towards the tents and crowd. “I wanna do some browsing without grumpy-pants tailing us.”
Nia laughs, calls out to Tobias that they’ll be back soon, and moves into the crowd to explore.
__________________________________________________
“Ugh,” Nia groans, flopping back into the cool, concrete seating of the auditorium. “I’m exhausted.” Junie chirps an agreement and collapses into a pile of feathers at her side.
Tobias snorts, taking his own seat on Nia’s other side. “Should’ve taken a break instead of traipsing around in the sun for so long.”
“But everyone was selling such cool stuff!” Nia protests weakly, slowly acclimating to the cooler air of the auditorium. “I had to see it.”
“And now you’re a useless lump,” Tobias drawls.
“It’s not like we’re going to be doing anything,” Nia laughs, sitting up and looking around as more Pokemon—the humans—file into the auditorium where Will spoke to them earlier. “We’re here for a magic show! Our only job is to watch, enjoy, and try to figure out how they do their tricks!”
Junie laughs. “They’re Pokemon—they already have magic powers. I don’t know how many ‘tricks’ there’ll really be.”
“I’ve heard they’re pretty good,” Tobias says. He sounds nonchalant, but Nia can tell his eyes are brighter than usual, shoulders relaxed as he scans the stage. He’s excited for this too.
The riolu smiles and idly looks around the room again. It’s darker than it was earlier, the harsh sunlight that had flooded the stage from the ceiling now a dim, evening dusk that leaves everything a bit hard to see outside of Tobias’ tail light. Nia feels soothed by the dark space and the fresh, clean scent of the foliage lining the walls and ceiling of the room.
Before Nia can ask if they’ll have something to illuminate the stage, like the guild’s glowing crystals, little wisps of flame suddenly flicker into existence around the outer floor of the stage, catching everyone’s attention. They hover in place like little fairy lights, a variety of different colors, and Nia sits up with an awestruck gasp.
“Are they starting?!” Nia whispers.
Tobias, leaning forward in his seat and not even bothering to hide his enthusiasm anymore, grins. “Must be.”
As they watch, the colorful wisps of fire dart into the middle of the stage, converging into one colorful pillar of flame and growing, growing growing until it’s a tall plume of twisting light.
“Whoa!” Junie breathes.
As quickly as the flames gathered, they vanish, leaving behind a cloud of embers and, at their heart, a Pokemon. It’s a tall, bipedal fox, standing in place with his arms held high, twin branches held in his hands, their ends alight in orange flame. The fox looks completely at home among the fire, fur patterned in warm yellows and oranges and reds and hanging around his frame in long tufts that almost look like a cloak.
“Good evening, and welcome to the show!” The fox calls, a bright, toothy grin on his face. The stunned crowd explodes into applause and cheers, and he bows low, branches sweeping around with an arc of flame. “I, the great Hugo, will be guiding the show for you tonight. Everyone sit back, relax, and enjoy the magic!”
With that, Hugo sweeps his arm forward, a cloak of flame enclosing him before vanishing entirely and taking him with it, only a few embers lingering in the air where he stood. Some of the crowd cries out in astonishment as everything goes dark.
A moment later, two fireballs ignite on either side of the stage, hovering in place a few feet off the stone ground. From somewhere around the back of the stage, what sounds like a violin begins to play a jaunty tune. To Nia’s astonishment, the fireballs start to float and move with the song, circling through the air in graceful, synchronized movements. As the tempo of the song picks up, the fire balls seem to stretch, long tails of flame trailing behind them until they’re moving like great, fiery dragons. They weave through and around each other, and then more fireballs light up along the stage—blue ones, purple ones, even green ones—before joining the first flames in a graceful dance.
Nia holds her breath, feeling goosebumps rise on her arms as she watches the colorful streams of fire cross and weave amongst one another to the music, creating a shimmering, shifting tapestry of color and sound.
Nia has never been particularly afraid of fire, but she doesn’t think she’s ever thought of it as beautiful, either. She usually thinks of fire as destructive, as an attack to be wielded by her aggressive partner, but technically Tobias could make flames like this, too, right? He probably couldn’t manipulate them, but that doesn’t mean they couldn’t be pretty! The purple flames of his dragon rage attack come to mind, even richer in color than the purple fire on-stage, and Nia spares a quick glance at Tobias.
The charmander looks entranced by the show, the colorful light of the flames playing across his face and shining in his eyes. He somehow looks much younger than usual, eyes wide with wonder and a small, awed smile on his face. Nia smiles too, chest warming with contentment. Happy is a good look on her grumpy partner.
Nia turns back to the show, eagerly watching as actual Pokemon make their first appearance. Illuminated by the colorful flames, two groups of floating Pokemon drift onstage in a dance of their own—some of them look like literal candles and lanterns with lovely purple flames and glowing golden eyes, and the others are round, pink Pokemon with purple patterns and long, trailing streams of pink mist that add an ethereal quality to their movements. The Pokemon weave between the flames, completely unafraid as they glow with what Nia guesses is psychic energy, dipping and spinning alongside the music.
It has to be difficult to keep such precise control over the flames, or even just to keep pace in a routine with so many small, intricate movements, but all of the Pokemon on stage clearly have a masterful control over their art, moving with confident, fluid motions as the fire twists and flares in graceful patterns.
Then, almost too suddenly, the Pokemon dip towards the edges of the stage and the fire vanishes with a flash, leaving the crowd in darkness once more. Before anyone can begin to applaud or cheer, flames light up the stage again, a ball of fire falling from above and bursting apart on impact. In its place stands a group of Pokemon arranged in a pyramid formation. Most of the crew seems to be made up of fiery cat-like Pokemon—little brown lions with red tufts of hair and bulkier striped cats with burning-bright bells at their necks—but the Pokemon on top is a cute white rabbit with orange-tipped feet and ears.
The pyramid disassembles in a series of impressive flips and rolls, and then the Pokemon themselves are leaping seamlessly through hoops of fire as they begin to move around stage. While they’re probably fire types and wouldn’t be too hurt by the flames, their movements are choreographed to be perfectly in sync, and they’re incredibly acrobatic as they leap and roll and springboard off one another to pull off increasingly complicated trick jumps.
As the movements increase in fervor, the crowd starts cheering and applauding, and Nia can’t help joining in on the excitement, whooping loudly as her heart pounds. The Pokemon onstage seem to move non-stop in a blur of color and fire, until suddenly, one by one, the pairs of Pokemon leap off the sides of the stage and the rings of fire all go out at once.
In the next beat, three round shapes roll on-stage, already lit aflame, before leaping up and revealing themselves to actually be Pokemon. Through the flames, Nia thinks they’re red, with orange markings around their faces, big grins, and stubby little limbs on their round bodies. The three are joined by a much larger Pokemon who looks like a possible evolution: the same red fur and giant grin, but with eyebrows made of flame and giant, powerful-looking arms.
The larger Pokemon scoops the smaller three up into the air. The crowd gasps as the three Pokemon hang for a moment, suspended like tiny suns, before falling back down. The larger Pokemon catches the first and second, then tosses one of them into the air once again before catching the third. Nia realizes the larger Pokemon is juggling the smaller, fiery creatures, anc can’t help but laugh, cracking up along with Junie and some other Pokemon in the crowd. The juggler is really good, too, keeping the little fireballs in a constant loop of motion.
In a blink, two other Pokemon stand on either side of the larger one, and the crowd murmurs excitedly at their sudden appearance. Both of them are fiery-looking monkeys, and in their hands they hold smaller fireballs. They too start to juggle, and when the smaller fireballs unravel in the air to pose for the crowd, Nia falls back into her giggle fit. The little fireballs are curled-up centipedes?
It only gets crazier from there as the Pokemon begin to juggle between each other, and then even more so when some of the Pokemon being used as props seem to vanish in thin air before shooting back into the fray from somewhere else off-stage.
“Teleport, you think?” Nia leans over and whispers to Tobias, eyes still glued to the performance. “Wait, can they even learn teleport?”
Tobias gives her a look, probably for trying to “solve” the logic behind the magic, but answers, “Maybe the psychic Pokemon from before?”
“Ooh, good point! Or maybe they’re just extinguishing their flames so we can’t see them in the dark?”
Tobias makes a noncommittal hum in response, clearly too invested in the show itself, and Nia happily goes back to watching and theorizing on her own.
Once that group moves off the stage in an impressive disappearing act (“Definitely teleport,” Tobias whispers), two Pokemon that look to be made of pure fire roll onto the stage before popping back up in a cloud of flame. They have duck-like beaks and a funny, amorphous appearance that Nia vaguely recognizes from one of her readings. They’re called…magmar, she thinks? Something like that!
The two of them engage in a mock-fight with impressive bursts of flame, dodging around one another in something more like a dance than a spar, and once the flames begin moving around in liquid-like motions, exploding in flashy, colorful bursts, it’s clear the “magic” from the beginning of the show is at work again. It’s beautiful, but Nia still can’t quite help trying to figure out how they’re doing it. Clearly the psychic Pokemon are helping—do they have some way to change the flames’ colors too, or do different Pokemon naturally have different colors of fire? Is it a temperature thing? Why—
The Pokemon on-stage suddenly stagger in the middle of their practiced routine, casting the room into near-darkness once again and snagging Nia’s attention. The two magmar seem alarmed as they turn to look at something on the side of the room. Nia follows their gaze, confused, only to see that a small patch of the foliage lining the walls has caught fire, just a tiny candle’s worth of flame. The audience, most of them craning to see as well, breaks into a low murmur of sound.
Nia frowns, shifting nervously in her seat and glancing back at the two Pokemon on stage, who she can only see due to their glowing skin. Is…Is this part of the routine? Another trick? But no, the two magmar look just as uncertain as the rest of the auditorium, frozen in place like this has never happened before.
The fire grows bright enough in the corner of Nia’s eye that she whips around to stare at it again, her stomach sinking. The flame is slowly starting to spread to neighboring plants.
“Something’s wrong,” Tobias whispers.
Nia glances at him, unease churning in her stomach once she sees the stricken look on his face. “Y-You think so?”
“Something’s wrong,” He repeats, louder, standing.
The fire seems to flare, then, growing larger as it truly catches and ignites. The crowd shrieks, some of them scrambling from their seats. Nia watches the flames, stunned, as they spread at an incredible speed, changing from a candleflame to a wall of fire in a matter of seconds.
The crowd is starting to panic, shouting out alarmed questions and cries, and a quick glance at the stage shows that the performers aren’t much better, scrambling around and looking to each other for what to do.
This definitely isn’t part of the act.
“Everyone, don’t panic!” Hugo’s voice rings out.
Nia feels relieved for a heartbeat, until she sees the fox himself. He has a good stage face and is holding his paws up in a calming gesture, but this close to the stage Nia can see the tension in his frame, the way his eyes flick to the wall and then the exits.
“Move calmly towards the exits, please, and head back out to the plaza,” Hugo calls. “We will try to contain the flames here and—”
The fire crackles, jumping and putting on a burst of speed as it connects to the wooden bits of the ceiling and spreads like fire on an oil spill, engulfing half the room in heat and light.
The crowd surges with fear.
Hugo is yelling something to his performers, the audience is screaming and yelling and shoving as they scramble for the doors, and Tobias grabs Nia’s arm, dragging her with him towards the nearest aisle leading to the exit. They’re jostled by the frantic crowd, and Nia squeezes Junie tighter to her chest as Tobias snarls and forces his way forward, making a path for them. Something heavy slams into Nia from the side, and she’s shoved to the ground. Junie falls from her arms and tumbles away among the forest of legs.
“Junie!” Nia yells, moving forward to follow before a panicked Pokemon accidentally kicks her, sending her rolling back with a yelp. Another foot steps on her tail, and just as Nia thinks she’s going to get trampled, a familiar warm hand grabs her arm and yanks her to her feet.
“Tobias!” Nia gasps. “I lost Junie!”
“No time to find her!” Tobias growls, glancing up to where the fire has continued to spread, consuming a majority of the room and heating the air to an uncomfortable degree.
Nia doesn’t have time to argue as the crowd at her back moves the two of them forward and out into the hall, almost knocking them off their feet.
“Oh, you have to be kidding me!” Tobias snarls.
Nia feels her heart drop as she follows his gaze and sees that the fire has already managed to spread out here, too, and is moving to consume everything at a terrifying pace.
“Go!” Tobias snaps, shoving Nia in front of him to follow the flow of the loud, panicked crowd towards the front of the Convention Center. She glances over her shoulder, terrified that she’ll lose him, but he stays right on her heels.
Nia’s heart is pounding in her ears, adding a steady tempo to the shouting and the quiet roar of the flames spreading to the entirety of the main hall. It’s almost like it’s following them, herding them, and Nia feels weak with relief when she spots the doors to the plaza ahead of them, cool purple-gray evening light like a drink of water in the desert.
They barely manage to make it outside without getting trampled, staggering into blessedly cool, open air alongside the other escaping humans. The Pokemon who were shopping in the marketplace are all watching the frantic crowd of humans with stunned expressions and concerned calls.
Safely away from the building, Nia’s legs collapse under her. She takes deep breaths of the refreshing air, flexing her fingers against the stone underneath her to help ground herself.
“You okay?” Tobias asks, crouching in front of her.
Nia looks up at him, unable to speak. The charmander still seems tense himself, eyes a little too wild, but he’s clearly trying to keep a hold on his emotions. Oh, right, he’s waiting for an answer.
“I-I think so?” Nia rasps. Her gut and her tail hurt where she was kicked and stepped on, but she’s in one piece, even if she feels like she’s about to shake apart at the seams. “Y-You?”
Tobias nods, then looks past her, brow furrowing with something grave.
Nia turns as well, staring in horror at the building in front of her, already brimming with flames and lit bright against the evening sky. Nia isn’t sure how quickly fire spreads normally, but it almost seems to be moving at an unnatural rate, growing uncontrollably and eating away at the structure’s wood and stone with an unstoppable hunger. It can’t have been more than a minute or two since the fire began, but already the majority of the building seems thoroughly engulfed in flames. The structure that had seemed so solid during the day starts to sag and crumble. Near the doorway, a bit of the frame falls to the ground with a loud noise that makes Nia jump.
“I-Is Junie still in there?” Nia squeaks, looking desperately at Tobias as if he knows any more than she does. “What if she’s stuck? W-We got separated, and I don’t—I don’t know where she went!”
Tobias doesn’t answer, staring at the flames with a furrowed brow and clenched fists, eyes flicking back and forth with racing thoughts.
Nia swallows hard and turns back to the flames as her stomach sinks, unable to do anything but tremble as she watches the fire grow. Absently, she notices the murmuring of the crowd at her back, then jumps as a loud voice suddenly commands, “Everyone stand back!”
Nia thoughtlessly follows the voice’s direction, stumbling back to join the rest of the crowd. A moment later, a familiar form bounds past them and into view.
“Keegan?” Nia whispers.
The ninetales looks completely different from his carefree self the day before, standing tall with a sharp, serious expression on his face. A fierce-looking red crustacean Pokemon with a golden star at her crown and a stripe of blue at her mouth is at his side, turning to look at the crowd with just as much authority in her posture.
A moment later, Nia notices the crowd of Pokemon stepping past her and the other civilians, lining up neatly in front of the two Pokemon. They all look strong, assessing the situation with calm expressions and confident stances. Some of them are clearly Seekers like her and Tobias, teams wearing similarly-colored scarves or bands, while the other half of the crowd all wear the same bright shade of yellow with a black drop of water imprinted on the fabric.
“Ghatha Guild, pair up with the fire rescue squad,” Keegan barks, fur gleaming gold in the light of the flames. “Buddy system, at least one water type required for each team. Report back to me or Audra any time you enter the structure or leave. First priority is finding any stragglers caught in the wreckage, second priority is to contain and douse the flames and minimize damage from the structure’s collapse. Clear?”
The crowd of Seekers—and fire rescue Pokemon, apparently—nod or call out their assent.
“Then get on it!” The crustacean, Audra, snaps, immediately turning to the burning building and beginning to fight the flames with powerful jets of water shooting from her claws.
The rest of the Pokemon jump into action with impressive speed, pairing up with minimal discussion. Some teams slip into the building itself through the gaps opening up in the walls. Some water types station themselves around the building where the flames are fighting to break free and move further into the plaza, dousing the fire with carefully-aimed streams of water.
Nia is relieved by the experienced groups of Pokemon tackling the problem, but she still feels like she can’t quite breathe right. Or maybe that this isn’t real, that she isn’t really here. She feels cold, despite the heat wafting off of the inferno in front of them. Numb, almost.
“How could this happen?” Nia whispers. “It...It was such a nice day.”
For a moment, Tobias doesn’t answer. Then, he takes their team bag off his shoulder, digging through it and pulling out his badge. He pins it to his scarf and pushes the satchel into Nia’s hands. “I’m going in too.”
“What?!” Nia whips around to stare at him. “Y-You can’t—”
“I’m a Seeker and a fire type,” Tobias retorts, eyeing the Seekers and rescuers still arranging themselves around the wreckage. “This is exactly what I signed up for.”
Nia latches onto his arm before he can run off, yanking him to a stop. “W-Wait! You can’t go in there! Sure, you’re a fire type, b-but the walls are caving in and, and—”
“Pokemon need help, Nia,” Tobias growls, pulling his arm free.
Nia tries not to let the panic overtake her completely. What if he gets hurt while she’s just sitting out here watching? And if it’s his job then isn’t it hers, too? What if Junie is still in there?
“Then I’m g-going too,” Nia says, her terrified voice making it more of a question than a statement.
Tobias is the one to look caught off-guard this time. “What? No you’re not. You don’t have the protection from fire that I do.”
“Some of the other Pokemon don’t either!” Nia bluffs, watching a Pokemon that may or may not be a fire type race by and dive through the flames wreathing the front door.
“But they know what they’re doing!” Tobias counters. “Look, I’m a low-level Seeker, but I have protection against the fire. I’m going. You are staying here so you don’t pass out from the heat.”
Nia whimpers, but can’t come up with a good enough argument against that. Tobias turns and runs up to Keegan, flashing his badge and saying something. The ninetales looks surprised, then pensive, as if unsure of whether he should agree to send the self-admitted newbie into such a dangerous situation. Nia’s heart lifts hopefully.
Then Audra snaps something to Keegan, and the ninetales looks torn. Finally, he sighs and says something to Tobias before running off. Tobias nods and dashes past the other rescuers and Seekers to run straight into the fire. Nia’s stomach turns as he vanishes into the flaming building.
“Please be okay,” she murmurs, voice cracking. Her heart is pounding, and all she can think of is Tobias getting crushed by the building slowly crumbling in front of her. Junie, trapped in the flames and choking on smoke. She worries the strap of their satchel between her shaking paws, almost tearing the fabric.
Minutes pass, and areas of the roof begin to cave in along with the walls, sending the Seekers and rescuers into a renewed flurry of activity. Nia paces in her place amongst the crowd, watching as the fire squad and the Seekers go in and out of the building with expert efficiency. Keegan is orchestrating the rescue effort with impressive control, directing the Seekers working underneath him and pointing out which areas to focus on next as well as receiving reports from the Pokemon who return.
Nia is only half-listening to the conversations around her, too busy stewing in her own fear, when she catches a snatch of conversation from the coughing, rocky Pokemon reporting to another rescuer to her right.
“Yeah, pretty sure it was a rookidee. Don’t know what happened to ‘em—one second they were there and then I lost ‘em again. Needed to get some air or I woulda passed out.”
Nia freezes, feeling like she might throw up as she stares at the rocky Pokemon, who hasn’t even noticed her. Their partner is reassuring them that the rookidee probably flew through an open gap in the roof, or another rescuer found them, but the rest of their words are drowned out by the blood roaring in Nia’s ears.
A rookidee, still trapped inside. Nia hadn’t seen any other rookidee all day. Only Junie.
Junie can’t fly high enough to get out—especially if she’s injured. And she’s not a fire type, not resistant to flames like Tobias is. She’s small, painfully light and fragile.
She’s scared, probably. Terrified. What if she dies in there because Nia was too much of a coward to try to save her?
It’s that thought that solidifies Nia’s terror into something sharper. Something like determination.
Pokemon need help, Nia.
“S-Sorry, Tobias,” Nia murmurs, dropping their satchel to the ground and taking a deep, shaking breath. Then, she sprints towards the fiery wreckage before she can second-guess herself. She doesn’t even bother to grab her badge, instead slipping past the guards when they’re distracted by a large, hacking Pokemon stumbling from the building with a couple of unconscious Pokemon tucked under their arms.
The heat hits Nia in a wave as she ducks through a large gap in the crumbling wall, into what used to be the front hall of the building. Immediately her eyes are stinging dry, the ash sparking a coughing fit as she tries to breathe through the sheer heat. Fire roars and crackles around her in a painfully blinding forest of flames, making it hard to tell exactly where she is or where she’s going next. The building is slowly crumbling around her, heavy walls warping and falling apart.  The stone underfoot is hot, almost stinging against her paws.
Nia looks around through squinted eyes, untying the bandana from her arm and holding it to her mouth to try and filter the smoke somehow. Somewhere further in the building there’s a sudden rumble, loud enough to be heard through the roar of flames and distant yells of Pokemon. Nia recognizes it from earlier--another part of the roof must have caved in.
Nia moves further into the wreckage of the building, more quickly than she’d like to, but she doesn’t have the time to be thorough and careful when the building is already coming down. She just tries to keep her distance from the worst of the flames and the rubble.
The building, once easy to navigate, is a flaming, twisted shell of itself, a labyrinth of wreckage and dazzling light and flickering shadow. Is she still in the front hall, or did a wall fall down? She might be in the main hall, actually.
“Junie!” She shouts, cupping her hands around her mouth. Her following inhale triggers a coughing fit as she breathes in heat and smoke. Eyes squeezed shut as she struggles to breathe, she isn’t paying enough attention and cuts her leg on a particularly sharp piece of something—stone, or metal maybe. She bites back a pained cry, glaring at the offending rubble before moving forward again.
“Junie!” She shouts, her voice a weak, rasping thing cut off by another coughing fit. “Junie, are you in here?!”
The roar of the flames are her only answer, so Nia keeps moving. She scans the wreckage and shouts out the little bird’s name, feeling her heart sink a little more each time she gets no response. When a particularly harsh burst of flames brushes by her face, stinging against her skin, she pauses for a moment to try and get her bearings. Between the shimmering heat, the blinding spots of light every time she blinks, and the building being almost unrecognizable, Nia definitely isn’t sure which room she’s in anymore. Could she even find her way back out if she found Junie? She’s starting to feel lightheaded from the heat and smoke.
Shaking her head, Nia forces her feet forward. She thinks she hears someone shout, or glimpses movement aside from the flickering flames and wild shadows thrown over everything, but she doesn’t actually run into any Seekers. They must not spot her, small as she is.
If the Seekers don’t see Nia, what hope does she have for finding Junie? The little bird is smaller and darker than Nia herself, and if she was buried under any rubble—
Stop that, Nia commands herself, looking around a little more frantically. Junie’s fine. She has to be fine!
“Junie!”
No answer.
Nia takes a moment to rest the best she can among the smoke and fire, looking away from the blinding flames and up to the ceiling where a dark patch of sky can barely be seen through a hole in the roof. God, she would love to take a breath of fresh, cool air right now.
Nia staggers on her feet as another part of the building collapses somewhere nearby. She has to keep moving. She has to find her friend!
Nia pushes on, moving through what she thinks used to be a doorway, into another area. Her body is starting to feel heavy, but she tries to shake the dizziness from her vision and keep from stumbling over her own feet. She can’t pass out here. Not now.
She glances up at a flicker of movement in the corner of her eye, expecting to find another shadow playing tricks on her, but it’s—
Junie.
For a moment Nia thinks she’s imagining the rookidee. Maybe she already passed out and now she’s dreaming. But she blinks—once, twice, three times, and she’s still there. The little bird is pinned to the ground by her leg, where a few giant chunks of stone from the roof must have fallen onto her. She’s fluttering weakly, trying to lift off and away from the rubble, but falls back to the ground with a pained cry that reaches Nia even through the roar of the fire.
“Junie,” Nia whispers. Then, shouting, she runs towards her friend. “Junie!”
Junie looks up, face filled with a raw, animalistic kind of terror that Nia’s never seen before. When the rookidee catches sight of Nia, she blinks rapidly like Nia did just a moment ago, as if she isn’t sure she can trust her eyes. Then, her expression pinches, like she wants to cry but isn’t sure if it’s out of relief or fear.
“N-Nia! What’re you doing here?!”
“I’m here to rescue you, o-of course!” Nia says with what she hopes is a reassuring smile. Its effect is ruined when she immediately starts coughing again.
“B-But you—” Junie stops, looking like she isn’t sure whether to be upset or not. Then she shakes her head. “Fine! Just, help me get my leg free, please! I’m stuck!”
“Right!” Nia moves to the stones holding the little bird down, managing to roll a few of the chunks of rubble away despite the way the hot stone bites at her hands. Almost immediately she’s panting, vision blurring the slightest bit more as the heat and exhaustion catches up to her. She stubbornly shakes her head, forcing her legs to hold her up as she moves the rubble.
She tries to move the largest chunk of stone, almost as big as her, pushing first with her hands, then with her whole body, grunting as it refuses to budge. She takes a moment to rest and breathe, but immediately chokes again on smoke and heat. Her knee buckles, and she barely catches herself before falling completely to the ground.
“Nia!” Junie shrieks, before falling into a coughing fit herself.
“Don’t talk,” Nia rasps.
“Nia, y-you...you can’t move it,” Junie says, voice breaking. “You have to go.”
Nia blinks slowly at Junie, not understanding. Go? She can’t go yet. Junie needs help. “I can’t leave you.”
Junie furiously shakes her head, and when she looks up again her eyes are shiny, like she’d be crying if the heat of the flames didn’t immediately dry her tears up. “You’re going to die here too if you don’t run, you idiot! Go!”
Nia growls in response, pushing herself back to her feet. She wobbles, but steadies herself on the stone. “I-I’m not—I’m not just leaving you here!”
Junie shrieks something else at Nia, but she tunes the little bird out. Her head aches, and it’s getting hard to focus. She pushes again at the stone, hoping that all of those stories about adrenaline were true and will give her the boost she needs. Her muscles strain and sting, but the stone doesn’t move. Feeling her throat choke up with—with everything, with fear and desperation and tears and anger—Nia pushes harder.
If she could just use her fighting type moves, maybe she’d be strong enough! Maybe she could push this stone, or break it, or—or—
Nothing. The stone won’t move.
Gasping for air that’s too hot to breathe, Nia slumps against the stone, eyes stinging again with tears.
She can’t do it. But she can’t just leave Junie here, either.
Is this how she dies? In a foreign world, without ever seeing her family and friends again? Without even saving her new friend? Without keeping up her end of the deal with Tobias? She had so much she wanted to do.
She doesn’t want to die.
Nia sobs, claws digging into the stone.
There’s another loud rumble from somewhere nearby—above—as more of the ceiling caves in, shaking the ground as the stone crashes to the floor only feet away and kicks up extra ash.
“Nia!” Junie cries. She’s sobbing now, too. “Please, leave! Just go! You can’t do anything! The roof is going to come down on us any second and I can’t—you c-can’t—”
Nia swallows hard and pushes herself back to her feet. She staggers to Junie’s side, sitting heavily in front of the little bird.
“I couldn’t find my way back out of here e-even if I tried,” Nia croaks, the words petering off into something between a laugh and a sob.
Junie looks devastated, before her expression melts into something so, so deeply sad. So guilty. “I’m so sorry, Nia.”
Nia doesn’t know how to respond, especially when her vision is spotty and it’s so hot she can’t even think, the burns and cuts on her body stinging with pain. She just shakes her head, hoping that Junie knows she doesn’t blame her for this.
Nia sends up an apology to everyone she’s leaving behind. And maybe a prayer that when she goes, it’ll be quick.
Around them, the fire roars.

The part where you get basic info on my Pokémon oc's so you don't get confused when I post about them.
This is gonna be a long post. I have like 8 total. 16 if your counting the secondary protags (my version of May and Lucas for example, which I won't be going over in detail cause I'm not insane). Might want to check my timeline 9 it's pinned or just check bulbapedia if your confused about the ages. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I hope you enjoy :)

Name :Jin Amachi
Gender: " I am nonbinary. I they/ them pronouns, but I'm alright with he/ him as well.
Age:
12( when started journey in Hoenn( Emerald)
22 by SM/USUSM
26 by SWSH
Basic info: With all things said and done, Jin is grateful for their journey. They learned a lot, even if they had to stop two extreme environmentalist along the way. They know the two meant well, but it's just too bizarre for it to happen. Though the two seem to be in a better place now. They're happy for them. They're father and them talk more now. It's still awkward, but better. They know he's trying his best, and they will do the same. It's much better than back then. But no need to worry about the past.
If anything, they're more worried about the others.

Kenji Elm
Gender: " I'm getting sudden dejavu. But I'm a boy! The best boy! Don't call me a girl, I will cry. And because I'm not one! So don't. Anyway have you heard of-" * starts to ramble*
Age:
10 when journey started in Johto( HGSS)
17 by SM
21 by SWSH
Basic Info: Kenji Elm is not the biological son of Professor Elm. He was adopted at a young age, and he doesn't know who is birth parents. Not that he cares. He's more than happy with the family he got( though he wonders when they'll throw him away like his parents did). Energetic and always willing for an adventure, Kenji is generally on the move!( He's so sorry if he's being annoying please don't leave please)
He has a vast amount of interests, but his two favorites are painting and battling. Battling is obvious, he's the champion of the Indigo League, but he always had an artistic eye. But his favorite pastime is hanging out with his friends! When he gets the time of course. He's sometimes wonder how he was able to hold the title of champion for so long though haha ( his win was a fluke he knows it he knows it) .But yeah! That's Kenji! Always there with a smile! Our little golden boy! 😁

Name: Danica Yamamoto
Gender: "I'm a girl. She/her pronouns. They/ them is cool too. Don't mind Kenji, he talks a lot." *Offended Kenji noises in the background*
Age:
11 when journey started in Sinnoh( Platinum)
18 by SM)
22 by SWSH
Basic Info: Giratina and Arcues are quite alike, the more she thinks about it. Though, the rest if Sinnoh, quite possibly the whole world would disagree with her. Giratina is " the lord of darkness". It's followers have a history of not being....the best. Giratina resides alone in the Distortion World, paying for it's past sins. Clearly, Giratina and Arcues are nothing alike.
Hm? Oh. Right. Pardon.
Danica grew up in Twinleaf town, with her best friend Barry. Those two are almost polar opposites. Barry is always moving, going fast, and doesn't wait for no one( except Danica and Emmet). Danica can go fast, possibly faster than Barry, but likes to take things slow. Both can be quite chaotic.Barry has a bit of a temper, Danica's chill. Both are cases where you should run when they are angry. Like. Very angry. The two bounces of each other well, and hang out regularly with Emmet, even with their busy professions ( Danica as champion, Barry as Frontier Brain and Emmet as a professor). Danica loves baking, and would often be making poffins and other baked treats for her, her pokemon and others ! She's also a bit of a nerd, so you'll also find her in a library or two. Her pokemon are her babies, and she hopes to have plenty of battles with them in the future!
.....
But really. They are quite alike. Both are beings of great power. Both have a following, even if one is less seen. Both are feared. They are feared greatly. Do they fear each other? Did Arcues banish Giratina in fear of the world or in fear of losing control? Did Giratina learn it's lesson after eons of being in the Distortion World? She could never tell. It doesn't really open up much, only going back to said Distortion World on its own Accord( it felt wrong to be it's "owner"). Though it do comes back, surprisingly. Maybe because she asked it to. To make sure Cyrus doesn't die in there. He still won't come out. She doesn't understand why. It's been years. Has he learned his lesson? Giratina seems to be fond of him. Affectionate. Cyrus never objects to this. So he must right? Right?
Ah, getting off topic. They're quite alike, being feared by the masses. Even if Arcues is mostly beloved. It's a god. It has such power. They're both feared. They themselves must fear as well . It must get lonely....... She thinks she gets Cyrus now.

14 when journey started in Unova( BW)

22 by SWSH
Basic info: It's so funny, the more he thinks about. He was so excited, despite his worries. He was going on a journey. A gym challenge. Pathway to champion. He was going to do that! With his sister and his friends! On his birthday! It was perfect! It should have been perfect! But everything just went wrong.
The bodies, the blood, the pressure to " be a hero"( intentional or not), it was all too much. Too much. Then- then he was a coward. He fled it all. Even after saving the day. It was stupid. So stupid. And the people in his life had a right to be angry. Why wouldn't they? He deserved it, really. But now things are better(?). He has a daycare to co-run, he's gradually learning his way as a pokemon medic, and he still has his pokemon( the ones that were lucky enough to survive). He's so grateful for them. He doesn't battle, though. No, he's never doing that ever again. He's caused enough harm( he hates how he stares at trainers battling). He's no good anyway( he hates how bored his team looks half the time) . He doesn't understand why people insist that he is( he hates that he has this itch, this desire). He doesn't understand why they look so disappointed when he says he doesn't battle anymore( he hates that he misses the rush, the strategy, the freedom of it all). He's fine with what he got. He's no hero.
.....Why is his aunt calling him?

Name: Evangeline " Eva" Ortiz
Gender: " Hiya! I'm a lovely lady! I use she/her pronouns, please and thank you!"
Age:

20 by SwSh
Basic Info: Eva! Eva my Beloved. Eva's fun, y'know? Always moving, helping, laughing, smiling. Life of the party! She rivals Kenji with that winning smile. Not to mention that she's a great battler! It's almost like she was born for this. Maybe she is! Who knows. But what she do know is that she's Unova's Champ and she gotta defend her title! And protect her region! Though she probably would have done that without the title anyway haha! Hmm what else? Oh! She loves technology! For some reason that surprises a lot of people that don't really know her, but she does! She's a bit of a tinkerer if she do say so herself. She likes it when people compliment on her skills it makes her more confident in them. Even Col-
No.
....
Ahem.
Anyway she's pretty talented. But that comes from a lot of hard work! And luck. But lots of hard work.( And also luck). Aaaah, that should that's it? Well, she does tend to be distant, b-but she's busy, yeah? Don't worry about it. Oh! One more thing. It's not really a big deal, just a random fact.
She hates the cold.

Name Jude Bellrose

18 when journey started in Kalos( XY)
20 by SM
24 by SwSh
Basic info: Death has a way of teaching you things. Jude learned a lot from it. She learns to not take it for granted, both death itself and the one that is dead. She learns to be humble. She learns to be kind.
Jude was, and still is, prickly. She's not rude my any means, unless she is, but she's just hard to become friends with. She used to have this philosophy of trainer and pokemon; they should be no emotional bonds. They're not here for that. They're here to win. And she did. Until she didn't. Her first pokemon died. It devastated her. Her pokemon, surprisingly, comforted her. And then another one died, and her pokemon comforted her again. Star, her Staraptor, was strong. So strong, and yet it died, and she cried and get pokemon cried with her. She never felt so loved. Not saying that her mother doesn't love her, the opposite really, it's just things have been....complicated. Couple that with strangers turn( begrudgingly) friends, and Jude's heart turned all warm inside. Not that she'll ever admit that outloud.
Jude is a kind person, despite her prickly nature. She loves the world around her, loves her friends, loves her pokemon. She respects death, despite the pain she causes her. The world itself of beautiful as it is, which it's such a shame that a capitalist fool a certain someone couldn't see that way( poor Sycamore).
Jude is a good trainer, despite her loss. She knows this. She'll prove it too the moon and back. If only a certain someone thought the same for himself.

Aster Mahina
Gender: "...." "Mizzz Aster is a girl! She uses she/her pronouns! Zzt."
Age:
11 in SM, where her journey started
15 by SwSh
Basic Bio: Aster doesn't hate Kanto. She doesn't. She was born there and lived there for 11 years. She just doesn't want to back. But she has to, cause she's " the first champion of Alola and as champion" yada yada yada. Like. She gets it. Being Alola's first and currently only champion, you gotta make an impression. She gets that. She still doesn't want to go. Even when she's been there, like, 4 times now. There are some good things in Kanto though. Lillie is there. And seeing Lillie physically is always a plus. She also gets to see Uncle Red, Uncle Green, and Aunt Blue. Kenji, while not living in Kanto, is champion of the Indigo League, and it's always fun with Kenji( she loves his art). But. Like. She still doesn't want to go.
But she also likes being Champion. That means she's strong. And since she's strong she can protect her mom. But she can't protect her mom when she's all the way in Kanto! What if he comes back? What if goes to Alola when she's away? She knows that her mom is strong, she knows that but still!
No. No it's okay. Her mom is strong. Lillie is strong. Gladion is strong . Hau is strong. Guzma is strong. They're all strong. She's strong.
She is strong.
Tumblr media
Name: Naomi Einar
Gender: "I-I'm a girl! She/her pronouns please!"
Age:
15 in SWSH, which is the start of her gym challenge in Galar!
Basic Info: Hop is pretty convincing, she realizes. Or maybe she's very weak willed. " Let's do the gym challenge together!" He said. He had that look in his eye. She couldn't say no. Or she could, but that would make him upset, and that's the last thing she wants.
If she's being honest with herself, she's scared. She doesn't like big crowds, the attention. They'll be so many eyes on her. So many. A-and then there's Lee and her cousin, Alexis. Hop has made her sit down and watch almost every single match Leon has had. He's an amazing trainer. A-and her mum would tell her stories about Alexis. He was a hero! He stopped an evil team and everything! She can't live up to that! She never even battled before, why would Hop-
No. It's okay. It's okay. She- she'll just quite after failing the first gym. She can handle the embarrassment. And then she'll cheer Hop on when he wins against his brother. Yep. She'll do just that. Okay. Okay.
.....
Everyday, Slumbering Weald seem to intrigue her more and more. It's almost like it's calling her. Da?
No. It- it'sprobably nothing.

Sean and Nyarly Pokemon AU: How they Met and Fell in Love
A Cinderace is wandering through a cave, looking confused, this is Sean.
Sean: Maybe it was this way? I don't know, this place is so confusing!
Sean continues to wander until he comes to what seems to be a pillar.
Sean: What is this? Wait, there's writing here, this might have something to do with Giratina....
Sean reads the writing, which is in Unown text.
Sean: Let's see here, "Behind you.", what on earth could that mean?
Sean hears a noise behind him and instinctively pulls out his pistol.
Sean: Who's there?
???: Me, mortal.....
From the darkness, a figure emerges from the darkness, towering over Sean.
???: Why have you come here? To capture me?
Sean: Well, no. Why would I? I'm a Pokémon myself! Wait, you're Giratina, aren't you?
Giratina: Yes, I am. Now that I can see you much clearer, I can tell that you are not a trainer looking to catch me. So tell me mortal, why have you come here?
Sean: Well, you see, I'm an explorer. I travel across the world exploring ruins and other places to learn more about various legends, cultures, and stuff like that. I came to Sinnoh to learn more about the Creation Trio. Most of the stuff written in the books are probably wrong, so I came to learn the truth from the various ruins based around the trio.
Giratina: Ah, so you wish to learn more about myself and my siblings? Hold on for a second mortal.
Giratina shifts into an anthropomorphic form slightly taller than Sean.
Giratina: Alright then, I shall tell you what I remember, if you tell me about yourself, you interest me mortal.
Sean: Alright.
Giratina: Very well....
The two proceed to tell both of their stories, both sides interested in what the other has to say.
Sean: Incredible.... Well, I have to go now. Thanks Giratina!
Giratina: Mortal, wait. There is something I request from you.
Sean: What?
Giratina: I have been stuck in this cave for a long time, I was wondering if I could travel with you.
Sean: Sure thing!
Giratina: Very well. What is your name, I never asked?
Sean: It's Sean.
Giratina: Very well Sean. Giratina is my species name, it is not my actual name. My name is Nyarlathotep.
Sean: Can I call you Nyarly for short?
Nyarly: Of course.
The two come together for a handshake, both sides having feelings for the other, as they leave together.
MONTHS LATER.....
Nyarly is sitting on a ridge outlooking Lake Valor, it's night, and the moon is full.
Nyarly: I wonder whatever happened to Darkrai?
Sean comes and sits next to him.
Sean: There you are! I was wondering where you went after you wandered off from camp.
Nyarly: Hey Sean.
Sean: Why'd you do it?
Nyarly: Well, to be honest, whenever I see you be happy or satisfied, I always feel warm inside of me, like this strange feeling comes over me. I don't know what it is...
Sean: I think I know what it is...
Nyarly: You do?
Sean: Yeah, it's love, and it's towards me isn't it?
Nyarly: I guess so...
Sean: So it wasn't unrequited....
Nyarly: What wasn't?
Sean: I love you too Nyarly.
Sean pulls Nyarly in for a deep kiss. Nyalry is enjoying it.
Nyarly: I love you so much Sean, I want to spend the rest of my life with you!
Sean: Well, that's something you say when you're proposing, but sure. I love you too, my anti-matter god.
The two stare at the moon, happy to be united by love.

I never said I wasn’t going to spitball an entire AU over my latest drawing so I’m not going back on my bullshit if I never said I was gonna be off my bullshit, technically. And also I already have the AU. I have had it for a while. This is just how I am, you know this.
Anyway I had a thought about it, and this long thought begins with Lillie and Hau trying to explain what Ultra Beasts are to N, and all of them progressively getting more confused. “They’re sort of like Pokemon but they come from another dimension.”
“But so do a number of other ordinary and legendary Pokemon - Giratina from Sinnoh, is that an Ultra Beast? It doesn’t live in this dimension.”
“Maybe it’s only if they come from that certain particular other dimension that makes Ultra Beasts.”
“But what attributes do they have from that dimension that makes them different than other Pokemon enough to warrant this other classification?”
“They’re much harder to catch in regular Pokeballs, I, um... heard that the Aether Foundation is trying to invent balls that can actually capture them.”
“But legendary Pokemon can’t be easy to capture either! Right? I don’t know, hey, N, you’ve traveled a lot of places and you’re older than us, you know a lot more, so do you think you can catch a legendary Pokemon?”
“...without a trainer of a very particular caliber - a very impressive trainer - I don’t imagine it could be done.”
They end up deciding to drop by the Dimensional Research Lab in Heahea City to ask Professor Burnet, and she and N end up starting a math-laden conversation about the Ultra Wormholes. Kukui was coming by to visit his wife and finds her in an intense debate about the nature of reality and Ultra Space and Lillie’s reading a book and Hau lying on the floor and Kukui, who knows how his wife can get when she’s passionate about her projects, is like “hey kids let’s go get lunch, they’re not gonna notice we left.”
Some sort of acceptable conclusion is reached about what defines Ultra Space and the creatures there that makes them different enough from Pokemon to warrant an additional classification as UBs, by the time Kukui and the kids get back from lunch, though it was a very long lunch and they got malasadas after.
And that is the end of it, for the moment, and while there is more thought lent to UBs, it’s not of world-shattering importance. Until it is.
Lusamine uses Nebby to open portals around Alola. Nihilego arrives right there, with Lusamine, and, well, they need to stop Lusamine, they need to stop Nihilego, N figures that the best way to do that is cut to the source and appeal directly to Nihilego to y’know....not work with Lusamine, not destroy the region, the works. The typical things you ask of a creature with immense power that just popped up out of nowhere. Honestly N has been through this before. He’s chatted up several legendary Pokemon - his own dragon, the dragon that his rival hero summoned, he knows how to communicate with them.
Except--
Except, Nihilego is silent. N has no idea if he’s getting through to it, but it - yes, it’s making some weird noises, but he doesn’t understand it at all.
I don’t imagine N to ever have been afraid of any Pokemon, ever (well, maybe Kyurem, but Ghetsis was kind of the problem there), because he was raised to not be afraid of them, to understand them, to communicate with them. He can call up a team to fight for him out of the wilds of anywhere. He’ll chat with a legendary dragon like it’s nothing. He’s not even afraid of the protag’s dragon when it’s summoned - he asks it what it wants and then tells you it wants to fight you, and he’s happy that you managed to call on it! Point is, he’s chill with all the myriad creatures he’s met across Unova and the rest of world, wherever he traveled after he got free from Team Plasma. And he’s still probably better at connecting with and understanding Pokemon than people.
But now there’s something innumerably strange and immeasurably powerful before him (...again), and he can’t connect with it. He can’t talk to it, he can’t understand it. The question, what’s an Ultra Beast, what is the difference - here is another difference. For the first time ever in his life, he’s getting silence.
And maybe, finally, understandably, he’s a little bit afraid.

Here stands a spaceman, obviously tired...with a modified baby carrier strapped to his chest. Inside the small Acacia squeaked and trilled happily, 6 stubby legs all kicking excitedly. [Have a random tired Spacedad and a happy dragon baby]
Tumblr media
He heard the squealing long before he saw it, considering and confused as he watered his garden with floating bubbles of water from a lake nearby, His attention focusing on the soon to be sound of footsteps that approached and...Oh!! glee immediately spread on his face and in his eyes, That egg had hatched. Look at that beautiful tiny baby!
“Oh! what an adorable little legendary, All those little feet and nubby little face and-.”
He could go on, Most of it was probably a blur for cyrus, but there’d be nothing stopping him from getting closer and gently taking the baby from the carrier to heft her into his arms with practiced ease of someone who. Just has dealt with a lot of kids.
Tumblr media
“Who’s a cute little baby, You are!, you are, you must not have hatched to long ago. Your scales are still soft! i’m so going to spoil you, But let me talk to Cyrus real quick okay?”
He knew she probably understood very little of what he was cooing at her, but he cooed anyway before turning his head to cyrus.
“You look positively exhausted and i’ll address that issue shortly, Buuut, First. Tiny baby, Have they eaten? if not is it because you don’t know what they’d eat?, She seems positively healthy though with all this noise and wiggling! so i don’t have to worry about health. Also, How’s giratina dealing with all of this?”

Medicham and the Statues of Misfortune [Chapter Four]
I didn’t want to think about what happened to poor Meditite, but as soon as Nidoking paused his scuffle, Meditite was nowhere to be found.
In the air I saw something. A Honchkrow? Then I saw the rider.
I sighed, thank goodness Meditite was saved by the Honchkrow.
Nidoking was obviously ticked off. He was making obnoxious noises and charging like a Tauros.
Later, at Meditite’s side...
“Woah! Thank you so much for saving me Honchkrow. We should be friends!”
Honchkrow suddenly distorted into a glob of pink jelly. Oh, wait- It’s a ditto.
Meditite was staring in awe. Even while hiding from a vicious war, she could still have fun.
For hours, Ditto was shape shifting into various breeds of Pokemon. Meditite was having a kick out of it, until someone came to ruin the fun.
“Meditite, this is no place to be playing games. Get too loud and they’ll hear you. Oh, and nice friend.” An Absol, most likely Meditite’s watcher or babysitter said.
Back at the war site...
Then I saw him. Painted with gold, silver, black, and red. Before me was Giratina. The infamous “guardian” who started a deadly war.
“Gallade! Get him and those measly Pokemon behind him!” Giratina ordered. His voice was distorted and demonic.
Gallade didn’t respond. His face was toughing up.
“I SAID kill him and those WEAKLINGS!” Giratina shouted.
Gallade turned towards Giratina. “No.” Gallade said.
Giratina’s face shriveled up in confusion and anger. “No?” Did you tell me ‘No?’”
I watched in awe, worried about what was going to happen. But then, Gallade lost it.
“NO! I AM NO LONGER LISTENING TO YOUR ORDERS!”
“Excuse me?”
“NEVER AGAIN YOU BIG, UGLY EARTHWORM!” Gallade yelled louder than I could possibly imagine.
Giratina, full of rage, turned Gallade to stone and proceeded to throw him at the wall.
“Time for your demise, puny Pokemon and Human!”
Giratina sneered.
To be continued...

Hints
An Easy Way Of Defeating Dialga
Get a Pokemon learn “Mirror Move” (Torchic learns “Mirror Move” around Lv.37). So when Dialga uses Roar Of Time, the damage you take will be returned to Dialga itself. Also take around 4 reviver seeds with you in case you need it (Note: You can use this trick against other bosses or other tuff Pokemons)
Golden Apples
Golden Apples are extremely rare food items. They completely refill and greatly increase the size of the eating pokemon’s belly. To find them, complete a job that involves exploring a Golden Chamber. The boxes in the chamber will contain the apples when you get them appraised.
Secret Slab/Mystery Part
To get the Secret Slab or the Mystery Part (needed for finding certain special pokemon), check the job listings board for a client looking to go on a mission and find either item.
How To Get Hitmontop, Hitmonchan, Or Hitmonlee
First, you have to get to Mt. Travail. Then, keep fighting till you get to a tyrogue. Beat it and recruit it. Keep leveling it up to at least level 20. If you want a hitmonlee make the attack greater than defense. If you want a hitmontop make the attack equal to the defense and if you want a hitmonchan make the defense greater than the attack.
Darkrai
To get Darkria to join your team you need a mystery part.
Unlocking The “Secret Rank”
After you beat the game(defeating Dialga) do some missions and you will eventually find a Mr. Mime at the Treasure Town. Talk to him and he will tell you about Blizzard Island and how a long time ago Scizor got trapped deep in Blizzard Island. Then you gain access to Blizzard Island. Get through the 20 floors and you go to Crevice Cave. Get through its 10 floors and save at the Kangaskhan Statue and get through another 14 floors. Then you meet Frosslass. Fight him and then you will save Scizor and he will thank you by giving you the Secret Rank.
How To Beat Mew
To beat mew you’ll need about 4 X-eye seeds. If you don’t have any X-eye seeds, you will need tons of reviver seeds. You would a lot need a psychic pokemon, in that case you would not need reviver seeds. Do not bring any rock pokemon with you. When your attacking mew throw one of you X-eye seeds at it. If Mew dodges the seed, throw another one. After being hit with an X-eye Mew can’t see straight. Use Psychic and Confusion to bring down Mew. (Hint: You can also use Crunch or Bite to bring down Mew)
Easier Way Of Defeating Tough Bosses Or Outlaws
Using sleep seeds, stun seeds, x-eye seeds, etc, will make it easier to defeat tough enemies.
Evolving Starters
After unlocking the ability to evolve pokemon by graduating from the guild, recruit palkia to be able to evolve your starters
Golden Mask
My friend has the Golden Mask and he says that you make new recruits faster with the golden mask. To get it, go to one of the Zero Isle dungeons and complete the dungeon.
Beat Dialga
Here is a quick way to beat Dialga. Use ground moves! It took me 5 digs (3 missed) to beat him.
Final Maze
When you beat the game [beat dialga] go down to the dojo. You will hear a loud noise and there you have it the Final Maze.
Pokemon Training
If you feel that you need to strengthen yourself and collect new items, you should train at the Marowak Dojo. Here, you can train without risk of losing any items if your KO’d. But, you must first place all your current items in the Kangashghan Storage, or you’ll lose all of your current items.
Cheats
Get Life
To get life hold Down, A, and B.
