My Conbeke headcanons cause why not

Everyone can see it but them + she fell first, he fell harder trope

Abeke sleeps in Conor's t-shirts, even before they started dating

Conor acts all annoyed saying that soon, he won't have what to wear, but he actually thinks she looks really cute in those

After the Wyrm, the only times Conor wouldn't have nightmares was when Abeke slept next to him

Abeke doesn't like having her hair untied, but when she does, it's always because Conor once told her that she looked good with her hair down

Conor is the one to cook in their relationship. Abeke is terrible at it

Everyone thinks that Meilin or Rollan is the biggest Conbeke shipper, but in reallity it's Worthy

Every time Conor feels bad or insecure or smt else about what he did because of Wyrm Abeke kisses his forhead or arm, where Wyrm started the infection

Before the two started dating, on girl's nights with Meilin, Maya, Lishay and sometimes Kalani or Tasha, the rest of the girls tried to make Abeke to admit she liked Conor, and she always refused to do so, even though it was so obvious

they spent a lot of time in library, Abeke teaching Conor how to read, cause she's a bookworn herself

My Possibly Controversial Spirit Animals Headcanon

It’s always Conbeke or Shabeke, but hear me out—Wobeke

Yes. Worthy and Abeke. I’m not going to say it’s canon necessarily, but I totally ship it. Not to knock the other two ships, I do think they were both great and I feel like Conbeke should be the slow burn that we all need.

BUT

Wobeke could’ve been THE COOLEST. Worthy was my Zuko, okay. I was and still am obsessed with the redemption arc of Devin Trunswick that deserves WAY more hype. And you know who was a big part of that redemption arc? Abeke.

Abeke was the first person who gave Worthy a second chance. She understood the grayness of morality and really helped him become part of the group, and he helped her get through her grief about Shane. He’s also adorable, like come on. In Wildcat’s Claw, there’s a scene where they’re walking ahead of everyone else, just talking about their sad feelings and aaaaaah. And in the Dragon’s Eye, Abeke is the one who finds Worthy. I cannot tell you how much I wanted more of them in that book, at least a good goodbye.

I like the other Abeke ships, but I feel like Worthy and Abeke could’ve been SO GOOD. The tension after Devin literally kidnapped her in Hunted (which is by my girl Maggie Stiefvater:), the tension after everything that happened in Tales of the Fallen Beasts, Abeke being the only one to hear him out, Abeke learning how there’s so much hope and kindness and loyalty behind Devin’s outer shell, Devin making her laugh and telling her things about Shane.

Afafsgsgdhdhfh yeah. Wobeke.

I have this headcanon that after the events of the seventh book, after they defeated Kovo and so on, Rollan and Meilin didn't talk about their kiss, and pretended that it didn't happen, so Abeke, who was tired of it, went to talk to Conor. To prevent the other two from discovering it, they locked the door. And even though they came up with a plan to get the two of them together, they ended up talking all day about some stupid things. And since Abeke didn't show up for breakfast, Meilin and Rollan began to worry because they couldn't find her anywhere. They ended up coming to Conor. They started knocking on his door because it was locked. Connor opened it, and when they saw Abeke inside, their thoughts went in the wrong direction. Abeke and Connor explained that nothing had happened, but Meilin started calling them "Lovebirds" anyway.

Sometime later, there was a situation where Connor and Abeke were talking to some new Greencoats, including one that had a crush on Abeke, and thought she liked him too, when Meilin yelled "Hey, Lovebirds!" and Connor and Abeke, who were already used to it, at the same time shouted "What do you want Meilin?!" and the boy was like- wait what?

For example, in 4th book, Conor also grabbed Abeke's hand, just like Reilin did, all this time.
