I'm imagining Wednesday and Enid going to see Abigail with Yoko and Divina as a double date

Wednesday naturally loves the bloody violence and respects Abigail's sadism and creativity, seeing it as an inspiration

Enid loves horror but pretends to be scared so she can cuddle close to Wednesday who knows Enid isn't actually scared but she certainly isn't going to push her away. On occasion, she will ask if Joey looks kind of like Wednesday's cousin Sam but Wednesday doesn't see it

Yoko is only there because she was dragged along and is annoyed at the inaccuracy of Hollywood portrayals of vampires, particularly the myth about sunlight, and everyone prepares for an extended rant about it afterwards

Divina is a giant wuss who can't handle horror and violent films and is on edge the whole time, wondering why they couldn't have gone to see Kung Fu Panda and is already planning to drag everyone to Wicked later in the year in retaliation.

I’ve got an idea for a headcanon that Sam and Tara visit and recount all the stuff that happened to them and how close to death they came

Everyone expects Wednesday to ask for all the gruesome details but she is just silent the whole time

Later, Enid comes home and finds her curled up and crying which Enid has almost never seen her do

Wednesday confesses that she really loves her cousins, especially Tara, and doesn’t know what she’d do if she lost them

Enid, shocked to see Wednesday be openly vulnerable, holds her tight and tells her she’ll be okay as Wednesday continues to cry

This is so SAD?????? And for what why make me cry on a Saturday?? (Jk I love this)

Wednesday would definitely be all “I’m glad you two are okay” while trying not to show a hint of emotion. She’d probably pull Tara aside and hug her really tight telling her she’s glad she’s okay. And she’s also glad Sam’s okay too. She doesn’t hate Sam she’s just…. more caring for Tara for some reason.

On the same note, Emma Myers is a few months older than Jenna and I love the idea of Enid being older than Wednesday and feeling really protective of her as a result which Wednesday not so secretly loves

I also found out a while ago that Alba Baptista is older than KTY and I’m obsessed with Ava finding out she’s older than Bea and teasing her about it endlessly, joking that Bea needs to respect her elders and calling her “young lady” as a joke

Eventually, Bea decides to get in on it and call Ava “my old lady” as a nickname which Ava loves

Enid would definitely LOVE to be that overprotective older gf to Wednesday I think that’d be so cute 🥺🥺🥺Wednesday I think would secretly love it but hates it when she’s teased in front of her other friends.

Ava would prob be a year older only and would hold that over Beatrice forever while Bea would be all “excuse me who’s the more experienced here?!” And Ava would be all “yeah but who’s older?” 💀💀💀

I saw it Friday and I loved it too

Joey was a great final girl and Alisha Weir was fantastic as Abigail

The fact that they filmed it here in Ireland and cast an Irish actress in the title role is kind of cool too

hey i’m glad you loved it! it was definitely a film of a different breed

contains some minor spoilers! 🔻 i completely agree. everyone played their roles incredibly well and couldn’t have done any better. as for Melissa and Alisha, i feel like they really showed that hidden connection between their characters throughout the film. Abigail never hurt Joey directly for one, and by the end of the movie, their alliance felt stronger than just working together to take out someone more dangerous than both of them. whether or not that was because of their relationship outside of their characters, i don’t know, but i loved seeing that dynamic

oh I didn’t know it was filmed in Ireland, that’s so cool! i felt that everything was perfect in order to create the entire background for the film, each scene and everything

Since it's Halloween, I would love to hear any Halloween themed headcanons you have for Trimberly and Jalena?

Oh fun!

Trimberly

- Kim loves Halloween and Trini does too but not like Kim does too, plus she’s had a bitter taste with it now that she’s older since she has to babysit her brothers while they go trick or treating.

- But she starts loving it more because of how Kim loves it, especially since she and Kim usually go out for it and started watching plenty of movies on Halloween together.

- When Trini first mentions that she has to babysit her brothers for trick or treating, Kim gets excited and asks if she can join and tells Trini they both have to wear costumes too. Trini laughs when she sees that Kim brought a bag to collect candy and Kim tells her she won’t have any candy later if she keeps it up.

- They love going out to Halloween parties and gatherings together, especially during their college years they tried going to a few Halloween parties, even some smaller ones with the other Rangers but they also enjoy spending the night in together watching movies on the couch and eating candy.

- When they move in together after college, Kim goes all out for decorating and Trini loves it but won’t admit it at first and they usually have the best decorations up from everyone around them.

- Kim even makes Trini wear couple costumes with her occasionally, lets Trini pick them out sometimes too but usually she’s already got options that Trini can choose from at least a month before Halloween. And they definitely wear pink and yellow ranger costumes one year.

Jalena

- Jane isn’t really into Halloween but she sees how much Elena loves it so she loves when Elena rambles on and on about it. Sabina also loves Halloween and if they’re on a mission any time in October she’ll bring small costume props like vampire teeth or a mask or a cape and she makes all three of them wear them. 

- They prefer staying in and watching movies during Halloween, especially since Elena geeks out over Halloween movies and she has a huge collection that she intends to make Jane watch with her.

- Even though Elena loves scary movies, she usually gets creeped out or scared so she clings to Jane the whole time. Jane reminds her that she’s a trained spy now so she’d be able to handle any monsters or threats and Elena says it’s still scary.

- Elena started it for them but they enjoy decorating together, nothing too big but just little decorations here and there at home and even a few at their headquarters. Jane’s also really good at pumpkin carving. Elena isn’t at all but she does it for fun and she’s always excited to see what meticulous carving Jane will make, even challenges her occasionally by giving her ideas to carve out which she always succeeds at.

- If they’re gonna go out for Halloween, Sabina begs Jane to wear a costume but Jane refuses until Elena asks her because she can’t say no to her. 

- They even occasionally go to Haunted House walkthroughs, and Elena always clings to Jane on one arm and Sabina on the other and Jane smiles or laughs every time Jane and Sabina scream and try to hide behind her at the jump scares.

I saw your post and have seen a few other people talk about Maggie Mae Fish and her using Autumn Snyder's death as some mark against Snyder and I was wondering if you could please fill me in on that as I hadn't heard anything about that and I'm definitely not going to give her videos attention to find out

MMF *speculated* that Zack Snyder is obsessed with darkness and death which is why it’s so prevalent in his movies (according to her) and that obession slipped into his life outside of his work which led to Autumn's s/ui/cide.

It’s pretty much a perfect illustration of people forgetting that these are real people, not fictional characters to make shitty headcanons about. In any of my posts, I’m not asking people to like Zack Snyder or his work. His work, like everyone else’s, should not be immune to criticism--however, people have been crossing the line. The tragic loss of a person’s daughter is not a plot point or punchline for whatever shitty *analysis* they want to make.

I was wondering, since Tara’s birthday is today, if you had any headcanons about what her birthday would be like and what Sam would do for it?

I feel like Tara doesn’t care too much about her birthday. She doesn’t bother to celebrate it. When she’s around her friends, Mindy and Chad and her girlfriend, Amber (yes they’re gfs fight me) they’d probably just hangout at her place.

However once reuniting with her sister, Sam wants to do something special. Even if it’s just a small thing. Maybe make her a cake! Small cake. Just for her. Chad would be upset he won’t be able to eat some. Amber fucking hates Sam’s guts so I imagine they’d get into a huge fight making Tara hater her birthday even more.

Hey Hope have you seen Birds of Prey yet?

yep and i thought it was great!

my expectations were medium i’d say going in, i pretty much was like “listen if i get to see hot girls go completely unhinged and kick ass that’s about all i need”

and you know what? it delivered

but there were some genuinely good moments too, some really interesting characters and ewan mcgregor played the villain so well i genuinely cheered when he got blown to bits

the soundtrack was KICK ass

i’m on the fence about the treatment of cassandra cain, but it makes an interesting au and i mean, guys, it in no way effects canon can we calm down please, and who know, we may still get real cass cain, it isn’t like her dad can’t come and kidnap her at any moment and continue the arc if they really wanted

anyway, directing wise i thought it was fantastic 

there were some very cool shots and it was a masterstroke to tell it from harley’s point of view, because then you can make all these fun character choices

and if the birds come back later in their own movie? will renee still talk like an 80s detective or is that just how harley perceives her?

harley’s perception of the characters color the characters themselves and that’s fucking great

overall i had a great time and i’d see it again for sure
