After his father picked him up after school, David was talking to his father about a woman he was staying with, after Jenny left for a important business meeting.

Alex was paranoid about her, as every parent should be. Leaving your child to unknown person would do only insane person. Well, she was Hudson's sister, maybe that fact was a little bit relaxing, but still, even siblings aren't the same. And there he was, standing in front of her front door, knocking to 'thank her' for taking care of his son.

"It's now or never" he whispered to himself, and he knocked. -"Coming! Just a sec!" a voice was heard from the other side of the door. And then they were opened, and she was standing there. Woman 5'8, medium length y/h/c hair, y/e/c and on her neck, underneath her chin, was a thin line - scar from a knife. He studied you for a while, and then he realized he was staring at you

"Hello, how may I help you?" -"Hey, uh...I'm Alex, David is my son. Hudson told me where you live, so I just came to thank you for taking care of David. I hope he didn't make any problem." he got red in his face. Was he blushing or was it the cold weather?

"He's a wonderful child, I really enjoyed in his company. Would you like to come in? It's pretty cold outside." -"Maybe next time, Dave is waiting for me in the car." she smiled at him. "Okay, then I wish you a wonderful day." and with a small smile he left like he never was there.

Getting in the car, his cheeks got red more than before. Mason tried to collect himself, so he tried to just start his car and leave in front of her house. "I think you like her, dad." -"Jesus Christ! You scared me." "But I was here all the time."

"I know, I was just thinking something, and I forgot that you were here. Do you have a lot of homework?" David shook his head "Okay, what do you think about pancakes for dinner? We could call uncle Frank to come, too." -"Yea! I can't wait!"

"What do you think, Frank?" Alex asked after he told almost everything what happened while David was in the living room playing games.

"Everything would be fine if there's not that one thing"

"Fuck man, you've been clinging onto that from the moment I said that. But there's a thing, she has a scar on her neck, maybe she's been working with Hudson."

"Did you say scar? Mason, she's a Captain, just like you, and she served in Marines, just like us, and she beats shit out of everyone, just like she did to me." on that Alex choked on the beer he was drinking "And yeah, I met her. She's fine, but don't get her on the nerve. She will kill you ASAP."

Significance of Vasili/Bell's codename:

I've been growing a bit interested in developing my Bell OC ever since a wave of inspiration finally hit me, so here we go!

Vasili/Bell's codename "Ворона" or straight in translation as "The Crow", signifies his intelligence, fearlessness, bringing "bad luck" to his enemies, the way he tricks people into believing his presence around when he's actually not, is mysterious like a myth, and most importantly. Free. Like the crow itself.

Freedom is what makes Vasili thrive for his goals and his aspirations to serve in the intelligence. Until it gets taken away.. slowly from his hands, that makes him lose everything that made him special, to some controlled asset of individuals who wanted advantage of him. The people he trusted, betrayed him, and realised his purpose as the "Crow" failed. That he sure can take insight of the world..

But not about himself. And that was his ONLY weakness, as a special agent, and a normal human being. But now, Bell wasn't going to tolerate it anymore, and instead, chose his own path, with nothing to control him, or worry about, living as "The Crow" again.

Just finished Cold War's campaing for the first time and wow wow wow. What an amazing game.

The story, the characters, the dialogue choices, the graphics, it all comes together so nicely to make such an amazing experience. The puzzles in the side missions were a really nice touch, and I went up looking up and down the levels trying to not miss any bit of evidence.

Being able to customize our character at the beggining and select some perks was a nice touch. Helps to make us feel more connected to Bell as a character.

The callbacks to events and characters of Black Ops 1 were so well done. I really liked how they neatly managed to connect the events of the two games together, and how they showed the impact Dragovich, Kravchenko and Steiner kept having after the events of BO1.

Look at them. My traumatized and perfect babyboys with so many decades of ptsd on them. Love them so much.

"Before there was one Mr Shades but now there's 2! But it's ok. We can trust them"

Loved seeing the returning faces and the new cast. Wished we could have gotten more interactions with them though. I am totally not shipping Bell and Park. Not at all. I promise.

Got the ending with Perseus and cause im a lover of all things angst, this was such a tragic and powerful ending. I'm excited to replay and see how all the endings vary. And I knew I was right to not give Addler the lighter in the end lol

Only complain I have is that I felt the campaign was a bit short, which limits how much we get to interact with the characters and other things like seeing more of Bell's connection with Perseus, but given the difficulties Treyarch had during development due to Covid, it's understandable. But the content that is there is pretty amazing.

Overall, loved the game very much and I totally reccomend it.
