Not many simoleons were made this week as we were focusing on socialization with the LIVE FAST goals and levelling up the MISCHIEF skill (you need at least L8 to SUMMON AN URBAN MYTH).

Dom kept on getting whims to make something of good quality with her SELF-ASSURED trait, so to the San Sequoia Celebration Center we went.

We also met one Clement Frost there.

DOM: Sweet, I'm going to get on his Nice list this year. THE MAKER: Oh crap, this means that she can never woo-hoo him as she met him as a teenager so now it would be gross...

After asking Morgan Fyres out on one date for the aspiration goal, she tried to entice Molly Prescott (the principal's daughter) to skip school and go on another - therefore going down as a Copperdale High legend. Alas, gameplay mechanics wouldn't allow us to leave in the middle of a social event.

Dom quickly developed an antagonistic relationship with Wolfgang Munch, and therefore went over to his place on Saturday morning to start a fight. Which she won.

DOM: Ha! Everyone thinks you're hot but take away the jacket and the 'tude and you just look like an albino raccoon. WOLFGANG: [dazed] Are those pink elephants? And are they on parade?

Suffice to say that in spite of Morgan inviting Dom to join the Renegades (which she declined - the best mischief makers know how to keep a low profile, thank you very much), they're not friends.

Thanks anyway for helping us check off an aspiration, we guess.

Sydney Price is Dom's bestie and the one she doesn't duck with in terms of her inadvertent serial romantic tendencies (thanks aspirational goal 😑). I mean, technically she could go on five dates with the same person, but she isn't really feeling anyone at this point and relationships are a committment of time that she just doesn't have to spare.

She planted a stink capsule in a locker and looked far too pleased with herself when she managed not to get caught (the trick is to either arrive very early in the morning or mooch around after school until everyone has gone home).

(Also the Maker realised that she didn't crop her screenies to the 5x3 ratio so the images are two different sizes. Which may bother her enough to reupload later but for now she's too lazy.)

Honestly, I have never had a child of father winter with this man. I'm not opposed to it, it's just never popped up. He does ask a lot of my mom sims out on dates which is weird af, but I've heard he's a good dad so idk. Maybe?

Create a Sim September | Day 10: Elder

This was supposed to be the prompt for Sunday since it was Grandparent's Day. I was originally going to make a sweet elderly couple, but I took the opportunity to give Clement Frost a quick summer makeover instead. His warm weather look wasn't half bad, but I wanted to do my own spin on it. Father Winter obviously needs to chill on the beach with a cold drink after getting through Winterfest.

( I never noticed it before, but does he remind anyone else of Jeff Bridges? 😆)

playing the sims (4) is wild. i was playing the “new in town” scenario with the premade sim farrah nouvel. throughout the gameplay, farrah broke up the goths and seduced bella, had a wildly successful painting career in which she may have committed several crimes, built an honestly amazing house despite having no money, became excellent friends with santa claus, and finished off the scenario by inviting everyone she knew (including mortimer AND bella, all three sages, and more) to a huge party in her newly upgraded house.

then i noticed farrah had a sad moodlet buried beneath her other ones. apparently someone had died? weird considering everyone she knew was at the party and there wasn’t a fire or anything, and i didn’t think i’d been playing long enough for the elders to die. it was some randomly generated townie who i’d never cared much for, so i finished enough tasks to make the party a success, thereby completing the scenario! yayy! then morgyn ember started looking a little weird, right before they dropped dead on the basement floor. beside them was simeon silversweater’s urn. after farrah failed to seduce the reaper into sparing morgyn, minerva charm died too! what was going on? 

i realized after the fact and much too late to save anyone that it was because of the heatwave. morgyn, simeon, minerva, and random-townie-guy were not wearing weather appropriate clothing, and i forgot to use the thermostat. great. now farrah can’t stop crying, l. faba hasn’t noticed that her two only friends are dead, gemma and darryl charm are orphans, and the grim reaper somehow ended up joining the household. also, there’s four gravestones in the yard.

clearly, there’s only one solution here.

farrah has to journey to the magic realm, learn untamed magic from whoever succeeds morgyn, and cast the dedeathify spell on her dead friends. not random townie though. screw that guy.

after that, maybe i’ll feed the reaper to the cow plant for ruining my party. and killing some of my favorite sims i guess. even though it was my fault for not turning on the thermostat even though i knew there was a heatwave (because farrah wanted to talk about it with santa claus). 

but hey, look on the bright side—after days of no socializing while farrah painted nonstop so i could finish the house, she finally got to talk to another sim about her fears of being controlled—with the grim reaper who had just killed three of her best friends.

Quick tip, if you are low on funds go to the rec center because Clement Frost is cooking up a ton of free food in his summer wear every time I’ve gone.

The problem with Father Winter visiting is that everyone playable has some degree of fame. So instead of asking for Winterfest presents, they can only offer autographs and selfies. And by the look on Clement's face, he didn't appear to want either xD

So several days ago Janine received a phone call that her great great great grand mother’s son of a cousin’s mother in-law left her an inheritance and if wanted to accept it then she would have to get married in 7 days. Well here she is, getting married to Clement Frost for a mere 20,000 simoleons! 

Prior to this, Clement found a ring in Janine’s bag and he secretly rang Scarlett saying that Janine was going to propose to him and asked for her advice. lol Scarlett simply said, ‘do whatever feels right’. And with that they were engaged instantly.
