While Nia was at school, her darling fox came around to visit again. Harlow took the chance and adopted him! Maybe a new pet will make Nia a bit happier.

I managed to get some Sims time in this morning! Yay! Maria had quite a full day of skill building today actually. Most of it was quite unintentional too though. After breakfast, Maria did a workout video to stay in shape and to progress in her fitness goals. Then, she went to wash some dishes and the dishwasher broke. Instead of calling in a repair person, Maria decided to try and solve the problem herself. She spent a great deal of her afternoon working on it before having to rush off to work, but here’s a picture of her in her cute purple scuba gear after a job well done with repairing the dishwasher. 

I would also like to add that Maria ended up achieving her third promotion in the diver career as well. So, we made all sorts of progress today and I am totally here for that!

While the kids were at school, Frost decided to surprise Charlotte with a doggo which they named Pierce, Charlotte immediately fell in love with him. That same night Selene invited Charlotte to come party at the nightclub with her.  They had fun dancing with each other to the great music and then had a bit more fun away from people.

Angry lady: “Are you serious??! There is no reservation under that name. YOU are just another one trying to get a table at the last minute, aren’t youUU??”

Joaquin visibly concerned: “There must be a mistake. Can you please, recheck the list on the computer?”

The Lady angrily checks the list again while eyeing Joaquin suspiciously. Her behavior softens a little and she tells him it will only be a minute.

Joaquin sighs and cleans the sweat that imaginably formed in his forehead.

That was close… This night has to be perfect. Nothing can go wrong.

He fingers crossed and turned around as Flora approached him, smiling broadly.

M: You know I’m always here for you, right? Because this is the only time you’ve really opened up to me and it’s at the public pool and I just - I want you to know I’m here for you.

H: Yeah, I know, babes. I’m trying, I swear, it’s just hard. I promise, I’m trying harder to open up. If it helps at all, you’re the first person I’ve talked to about this.

M: I am? You haven’t even talked to Shelby?

H: Nope. I’m sort of afraid to find out whether she knew about Papa.

M: That’s... a lot.

H: Yeah, well. Yeah? Whatever. Screw Papa and possibly Shelby. I just want to have a couple hours with my friends and my beautiful, amazingly caring and unbelievably intelligent girlfriend.

M: If I wasn’t in a pool, I’d be swooning right now.

I didn’t get a lot of photos from the kava party for whatever reason, but I did get this picture of Maria making the kava right after starting the party. We just had a small little party at our house where we invited all our friends and Sergio, of course. Things at the party actually got a little hectic, which is why I guess I didn’t get that many cute screenshots, but our bathtub and sink broke right before and during the party, so Maria had to fix those because we don’t believe in paying people to repair it when we can just fix it ourselves XD. So anyway, our repair skill went up because of that. I don’t know what we’re at currently, but I’ll post an update of all the skills and where they’re at in the near future. I know that during the party, we got our charisma skill up to a level 5, so we’re also halfway done with that skill. And we wrapped up the party at Gold, so that part of the Island Living aspiration is complete and we got a cool little reward for getting gold as well. Unfortunately, I had to take a vacation day for Maria because the party took longer than I expected it to and now we’re off work for the next three days? Is it a good idea to try and figure out how to become a mermaid or something in these next three days? I mean...it’s that or something soon because we’re aging up day by day.
