so i got surprisingly invested in this journey of chongzi, but i’m worrying that i’m getting attached to all the wrong characters, and by wrong i mean the ones that will die tragically and horribly

like i really would like to follow chu bufu/wan jie’s story more, and learn more about his relationship with luo yinfan before this shit happened, but also see them interact now. like come one, luo yinfan was all like “come back with me” and wan jie was like “dream on” and oh it’s clear how i feel about such things come on. but then there is wan jie’s relationship with wang yue, and him being like “you don’t own me”, and wang yue clearly wanting to own him, but also saving him and his gf without asking anything in return? and then laughing at him, but when wan jie leave, suddenly getting all serious with his “next time i won’t save you”. and also his gf, gong keran, being all “the only way you can fix my life now is by dying, but also your life is mine so you have to die by my hand” and wan jie being fully ready to accept whatever she has for him, come oooon. so you see why i think i’m getting attached to all the characters dying horribly, right?
