One thing that I hate while reading Romeo and Juliet is that I have so many assumptions and biases going into this because romeo and juliet is just one of stories everyone's hears about over and over again from other people who have never read/seen it either I wish I could have seen this show back when he first wrote it without knowing anything or having been told what to see

Rewatching My Love Story for like the 4th time and something I’ll forever love and appreciate is how much both Takeo and Yamato love Suna. He’s never treated as a third wheel even if he feels like it. To them, he’s a very important and essential part of their relationship. They love having him around and they know they can rely on him for anything. They love appreciating him and everything he’s done for them and god I love it so much. Suna deserves it! He’s a great friend and they both know that! It’s just so funny when he’s hauled around and is apart of dates when he doesn’t even want to be there sometimes, but you can just tell he’s happy all the same anyway because he loves his friends too.
This has been a Suna appreciation post 😌😌

As a Noir fan, what do you think of what they did with the character in the latter half of S3, suddenly revealing that he’s living in a cartoon world and can’t write in a grammatically correct way (is this due to presumed brain damage during the 80s incident? But he can play professional sounding piano?). For me, it just clashed with everything that came before, like a really strange onscreen woobification/infantilization. But I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts.
OH BOY DO I HAVE FEELINGS ABOUT THIS *cracks my knuckles* Plenty of this is headcanon though, so take it with a grain of salt.
Personally, I think Buster and the gang were always important to him. I think Noir was kind of an awkward kid, and paralyzing a schoolmate didn't win him any friends either. I also think he stuttered as a kid, and that manifested in Buster. As an adult (pre-Nicaragua), I like the idea that he still "talks" to his imaginary friends, but as a way of sorting his thoughts and having an internal dialogue.
The way I write Noir, while he might have trouble articulating his feelings, he's not stupid. He hallucinates, but we see that he doesn't always acknowledge them, which is possible for people with visual and auditory hallucinations. (There are even posts about how to counter them and establish the real from the unreal here on Tumblr.)
You use different parts of your brain for different things. Knowing what you want to say and actually saying it aren't the same. I think Noir, while he has trouble writing (both physically and mentally) still thinks just fine. He also has a bit of a healing factor--just because his body wasn't perfectly restored like Wolverine's doesn't mean he lacks a healing factor. It might be that his brain healed in a weird way. He might have been given a "booster" of V while he was in recovery. We see A-Train use it to keep his speed up, so Vought using it to boost Noir's healing factor is possible.
As for the piano playing, one treatment of damage to Broca's area (which is responsible for language) is to represent your thoughts with musical tones. If Noir had a pre-existing knowledge of music (I think he did), he he might have used that as part of his recovery therapy.
Edit: TLDR I don't think it's on-screen woobification at all. (And I was woobifying him long before we learned that he was a certified Disney Princess. He is my son and my child and I would both kill and die for him.)

im rewatching new girl and god I forgot how much I love nick and jess' relationship.
when nick tries to move in with caroline, jess keeps trying to talk him out of it because she knows hw toxic their relationship had been. but then nick breaks down in the desert, doubting everything again, this happens.
j: i want you to be happy. and if that means moving in with caroline, then I think you have to do it.
n: thats what you think?
j: *nods, smiles*
n: i think you need me too much.
j: im going to be fine. I am.
n: i don't think so..
j: you know why?
n: why?
j: because I met you. thats why I'm okay.
they've barely known each other and are just so already in love and refusing to admit it.
nick goes to Caroline's and is back within the night. and he goes right to jess.

Jimmy-Steve was the worst and Fiona deserved better. He was unsupportive, a cheater, and a liar to say the least.
