I thought I was done with my christmas shopping but my dad was trying to guess what I got him and he guessed a floppy chefs hat....he was SO excited about the idea...i did not get him floppy chefs hat...do I order a floppy chefs hat

I still think one of the best Christmas presents I've gotten in recent years was my favourite Eeyore teddy which I've had since 2019, he's filled with beans and meant to go in the microwave but I would never ever put him in there

Got my souvenirs

Freeze dried skittles and handmade watercolors made by the owners of the art shop i got them at

They grind their own pigments and everything

#we dont have any good specialty art shops in Lawrence #we have a couple of places downtown that are kinda similar but they pretty much only have name brand stuff #nothing made locally #if it wasnt so expensive to start a business in Lawrence i might have a niche for handmade paints there #im trying to figure out what oil they used in their base to make it antimicrobial #cuz it smells really good lol #like my paints smell very strongly of cinnamon #im assuming clove oil since thats most common.....but idk if i can identify clove by smell #smells christmas-y tho #if i was more outgoing i mightve asked the owner some questions about it #my mom tried to talk me into getting the watercolor kit that had some little pieces of watercolor paper and a pencil and a brush #and i was like ''i have all that tho'' and she was like ''but then you could use them now.''#''.....yea. i have all that WITH me.'' like. im not gonna travel without my favorite art supplies lol #i gave up suitcase space for my giant watercolor sketchbook just in case i wanted to paint #i have MOSTLY travel watercolor sets and brought all of them with me in my pencil bag #i specifically filled up all my watercolor brushes with water the night before we left and made sure i had my favorite mechanical pencil #(which btw if you have executive dysfunction and like to paint with watercolors i highly recommend the watercolor brushes you fill #with water. i paint way more than i used to cuz i dont have to fill a cup with water any time i wanna paint)#i have my regular sketchbook #i even brought my sudoku book and a couple pens in case i felt like playing sudoku #i dont travel without my bag of activities. i may not always do the activities i bring but i like to have options #at least its better than when i was a kid cuz i tried to bring activities AND like 5 stuffed animals #my suitcase was usually half stuffed animals #i also usually had a few shoved into my pillowcase with my blanky

⊹˚₊⭒ GOJO has recently picked up the habit of taking the absolutely most ridiculous pictures of you ever since Yuuji and the rest of the kids gifted him a Polaroid camera for his birthday. He even started to gather them up in a photo album he proudly shows to anyone who visits your home, and this alone would be just lovely, if it wasn’t for the fact that you’re fully asleep, or unshowered, or in the middle of sneezing, or eating—in all of them! He claims his favorite is one he took while you were actively arguing about him not taking out the trash the night before, so he decided that it was a great idea to capture the Polaroid with his phone and put it as your contact photo and the wallpaper to his laptop.

⊹˚₊⭒ GETO owns a big house and is the proud father of two precious twin girls, so the walls of his living room and a few tables are filled with picture frames of Nanako and Mimiko growing up and of course—of you, too. He loves the sense of familiarity and warmth it brings to his house, turning it into a home and making him feel whole. Geto also loves keeping pictures on his nightstand, sometimes he even go as far as to writing sweet notes in the back of them, declaring his love for you or how proud he is of the girls.

⊹˚₊⭒ NANAMI is a classic man, so of course he keeps a picture of you in his—very expensive, very posh—wallet. He really isn’t much a tech-like guy, as he prefers simple things and wishes to have a simple life, so he’s not one to be on his phone constantly. He doesn’t even use mobile payment regularly, instead prefers taking his multiple cards out of his wallet every time he’s purchasing something—hence why he put a little picture of you in there to be looking at him all the time. He also made sure to put one of both of you over his desk at work.

⊹˚₊⭒ MEGUMI’s favorite hobby is actually taking pretty pictures of you (unlike Gojo)—so you’re clearly the wallpaper on his phone. He has a whole folder dedicated to you, with your name and a little ‘<3’ next to it, and it’s flooded with images of you blowing him a kiss, eating and laughing on your weekly date nights, sparring with Yuuji and shopping with Nobara, and so much more. He’s the type to take out his phone any chance he gets to photograph anything you’re doing at anytime.

⊹˚₊⭒ YUUJI has a locket necklace with a picture of you and Todou in it… but it wasn’t really his choice to begin with. It was actually a Christmas gift from Todou himself, and Yuuji was really close to throw it away when his besto friendo opened it and showed him the smiley picture of you in the right side of the necklace. He grew very accustomed to it since that, but Choso’s been bothering him to get a new one where he appears ever since.

#Happy holidays.#I hate Christmas because I always find out how little the people in my life think of me.#I try to prep all year so I can get important people in my life something that means something to them.#It doesn't have to be expensive or big #I got one friend a model kit and a book on dnd themed cocktails.#Someone else got a book of poetry.#I don't go crazy.#So far the only decent gift I've gotten is yarn #Which is actually good #I knit.#My partner and roommate blew 200 dollars on getting me a laptop but they never checked to make sure it worked.#It's screen is shattered and it's gonna cost anywhere between 90-300 dollars to fix.#It is currently completely unusable #And I'm going to have to put the little bit of money I have towards fixing it #Merry Christmas I guess.#My partner said he got me a bookcase but then he admitted he just meant he was going to shop for one.#It's been on the list for over a year and I know he's going to forget in under a week.#He claims there's something in the mail.#And my roommate's gf got me scented candles but I'm autistic and both candle scents make me gag.#My sister is getting me a surge protector (a gift for the house not me) and oven mitts (a gift for my spouse).#So the only thing I got that I can use is some yarn. That's my Christmas. Plus I fucked up my ankle. And my spouse just came upstairs and #Woke me up only to go to sleep himself and snore at me. So I limped downstairs and I'm not crying on the couch. Happy holidays to me.
