I noticed I didn't post any LGBTQ+ stuff or any Skyrim modded Follower content in more than a week. So why not make both right now?

Lgbtq+ headcanons with the Dovahkrew

These are Sexuality and romantic orientations not gender orientation headcanons. Sorry. These are also MY headcanons so if they don't match up with your headcanons it's not personal so please don't get mad at me. I am curious to see your headcanons as well though.

Inigo- Heteroflexible. He is most definitely interested in women and I always head canon that after the events of Skyrim he does settle down with the woman of his dreams who just happens to own a sweet roll shop. But I also feel like he would definitely point out a man's beauty. He seems like a very comfortable in his Sexuality kind of guy.

Lucien- Questioning Asexual Biromantic. He seems more interested in knowledge and learning other things than a relationship. And if someone did ask about his orientations then I feel like he wouldn't be able to answer that because he doesn't really try to experiment with romance of any kind.

Kaidan- Bisexual with maybe a fem preference (including feminine or men). I also see him as Pansexual because honestly I don't think he really cares about what gender his lover is.

Auri- Sapphic or Lesbian. I mean her creator basically made it Canon that she Prefers women.

Rumarin- Panflux 100%. Gender doesn't get in the way when it comes to any type of attraction to one another.

Vilja- I really only know her from a video of Inigo dialogue they have together. If I had to make a guess I would say she's straight or Pan, but I'm leading more into Straight.

Sofia- Bi with a big male preference.

Hoth- I really wish there were more videos and content on his commentary in Skyrim because I don't have him, but I'm interested him so much that I'd love to know more about his character. I feel like he doesn't use labels and gender isn't that much of an issue when it comes to love.

Taliesin- Pansexual. I mean come on its THE Talisman.

Gore (aka bby girl)- Questioning Omnisexual. It just feels right to me

Caryalind- I can't remember if rabbit said his sexuality was Demiromantic Asexual. I know he is Ace (or at least on the Ace spectrum) but I can't remember is they anything about being demi. I think he's Demiromantic.

Lucifer- Polysexual but I feel like he does have a male preference though I could be very very wrong. It's so funny because I play with him a lot on Skyrim but barely know anything about him. He holds grudges, he's very secretive (good on him because i would be too if i was in his situation), and he loves argonians. He seems to look up to Xelzaz and Inigo (and in some sense he does seem to be very enthusiastic when first meeting Nebarra until he realizes he doesnt like his personality) a lot which is what fueled my belief that he's maybe Achillean (Sapphic but for masculine terms instead of feminine).

Nebarra- I 100% believe that he refuses to use any labels. I think he might lean toward women a bit more, but that would only be because of how altmer are only raised to make the perfect child, so opposite sex relationships are probably the most common in the Summerset Isles. His fixation with Niranye and past relationship with Camia shows that. He doesn't seem Asexual because he doesn't hide the fact that he does enjoy the idea of doing the naughty naughty. His commentary on Dibella, Dibella Sybil quest, in the Night to Remember he says how he hopes we got to experience the Dibellan arts, and how he jokes about being Lucifer's father just prove that.

Xelzaz- Don't get mad at me, but I think he's straight. He says when hes ready he's like to marry a female argonian, and the only other time he's fallen I love was with another girl. I don't think he's asexual, but I think he definitely isn't very interested in it though we wouldn't really know because he seems very adamant on wanting to keep that part of his life private (as he should I love a king that doesn't feel like he has to tell us his sexual life).

Remiel- Asexual Panromantic. It was already proved Canon that she's Asexual. I had the conversation with her where she tells is she doesn't feel sexual feelings towards someone as she does with romantic feelings (also good on her. Not every relationship needs to have sexual desire in them). She's fallen in love with boys before and didn't seem too mad about being arranged to another man so I don't want to label her as Sapphic. And she does fall in love with you regardless of gender and I haven't seen anything that says she has a preference from the creator so I believe she's panromantic.

Secunda- I really don't know her that much yet as I'm still playing with her. First impressions is telling me panflux though I could be wrong though.

Extra!

Serana- Without the SDA. She always gave me Asexual Biromantic vibes.

Teldryn Sero- Haven't started A serious Teldryn mod yet so I don't know too too much about his personal preferences, but he seems like the type who doesn't really use labels. Though I'm positive he is Bisexual.

Karina- Panromantic Demisexual. It was confirmed by the one who made her @jewelthejaguar742

Arstul- Asexual Omniromantic with a male preference. Talked with @joonjii about it and it's confirmed. However, they also said he could be panromantic with a male preference too but they said my opinion was valid and technically right.

What are some of your favorite skyrim fanfics? I need something good to read lol

I don't really read a lot of fics these days, and when I do it's not usually Skyrim lol. I enjoy reading longer fics so hopefully that's what you're after!

@daedrabait has multiple series, but I'm fairly sure Dust and Dim Sunshine rewrote my DNA. It changed me. If you see me going absolutely feral in the comments of every single chapter, no you didn't <3

I am taking it slow and haven't entirely finished it (don't want to go too sicko mode) but if you're up for a long fic you should 100000% read @elfinismsarts' writing. Cannot put to words how inspiring it is, just reading it inspires me to become a better writer. I'll link Blood of the Dragon because that's where I started, but there's plenty of oneshots available of Kel's wonderful characters <3

Cycle of the Serpent is next on my fic tbr, but I'm going to rec it purely because I've seen the love @throughtrialbyfire has put into it and just know it's got to be incredible. I have read their one shot If by Sun and Moon I Swore and can attest to how beautiful it is. It's poetic and heartfelt and so painfully realistic, you should read it at least once. Maybe a few times.

I don't have any in particular because it's been a few years, but you should read Rumarin fics. Idk what it is - I don't even have the mod to have him in my game, but he is such a fun character and each author who writes about him makes him such a fun, quippy character to read. He's so dear to me even though I've never met him purely because of AO3 authors.

I should definitely read more Skyrim fics. Anon, if you want to rec any to me, feel free lol it sounds like we all need something good to read.

hiiiii I know I don't ask a lot of questions or post a lot abt him myself but honestly I'm kind of struggling on figuring out potential interactions between the Tallyboy and my oc's

I hav 3 in mind as "most likely to get up to shenanigans with Tally" tho

an alternate-universe version of my main Thalmor oc wherein she is the LDB (cus from what I know custom voiced followers aren't build for non-LDB's)

a snow elf LDB uplifted from a falmer, and thus having no knowledge of the outside world. also has Inigo, Xelzaz, and Rumarin (her love interest) on her team for now

and my high elf vestige (non dragonborn) who survived all the way from 2E and was rescued by and reunited with the oc's of my dear friend @titanwolfackerman (since that they told me Tally would be on their team, which also includes Inigo, Xelzaz, Lucien, Nebarra, Caryalind, and Miraak)

I would like to hear his thoughts on each character or at least the basic premises they are built on, hopefully it will give me inspiration to start creating some interesting scenarios <3

I have noticed a lot of players have different ideas for their Dragonborn outside of being a Dragonborn, and I respect that. I only play the Main Story quest and when I want to feel like the Dragonborn, so that's probably why a lot of Custom Voiced followers follow that route. To make the story the player has for their character to feel less forced into that role. I made Taliesin the same; he doesn't address the player as Dragonborn unless it's about the Main Story quest in question.

So with your Thalmor OC finding out she's the Dragonborn. Were Taliesin present, or depending on how you plan to have them meet, he would encourage her to keep this part about her a secret from the other Thalmor. His knowledge of Dragonborn lore is tied directly to how the Nord's perceive the legend of the Dragonborn - pretty much an example of how Nords should act and be. An Altmer being their example? very controversial. Same with the Thalmor, knowing one of their own holds power, they'd want to take full advantage of that in the worst way possible. He might become protective of her when it comes to anything Thalmor related. If she voices wanting to run off from the Thalmor or leave in anyway, he'd ask to join her.

A Falmer (snow elf) would be a curiosity to him. Lots of questions would come to mind about her culture, but if she doesn't have him, that'll sadden him a bit. He's willing to do research to find answers to not only his questions but to something to make her more a part of her people. Your vestige. What are their secrets to staying alive that long! Tally wants to know! That might be something he would have trouble getting over. From the 2nd era to the 4th era is almost over 1000 years! And that's the average life span for an Altmer without the use to magic! He had an ancestor back in that Era, so his first question would be knowing his great-great-great-great ect grandfather!

I've finally picked up Rumarin and am committed to actually seeing whatever his storyline is through.

I wasn't sure if I had the right character dynamic--my plan was to try something completely different, and I have a cute, eccentric little alchemist from the Rift who lives in a mushroom in the woods.

It was when the sad giant decided to smash a pack of wolves that attacked him when he was mourning his mammoth while Rumarin was rambling about giving up the life of a jester when I knew this was a partnership meant to be.

First off, since WYGTYA was the first fic I started posting, it's only fair to start with the ships from there!

One the left, we have the Ravvyraak! She's making Miraak hold her lute because she wants to get another fancy goblet of booze, of course. She's probably teasing him and calling him a lightweight.

And on the right, we have Rumcurio! I haven't picked a background because I can really see Rumarin and Marcurio sneaking off into a dark corner to make out :)))) Maybe both ships are at the same party.

Do Fenrik/Miraak and Rumarin have the same haircut? Yes, but consider this: they got ready for the party together because they're besties, and ever since Chapter 10, Rumarin wants Fenrik to always braid his hair.

And here's a little bonus! My Nerevarine (the red-haired one) and her girlfriend, who is a great-aunt (adoptive) of Ravonna! She is the one who brought a literal emerald bar for the Tavern when the family business started in Blacklight, thus giving it the name "The Emerald Bar"! Aaaand, Ravvy's adoptive dad named her after this woman! I can never have enough Ravonnas, underused name tbh.

And now for the pirates that are rotting my brain (SPOILER WARNING FOR THE HOTHS SHIPS, I guess)

In order of appearance, we first have Rhaim, everyone's favourite werewolf, with Edward, this annoyingly competitive Nord that's really good at cooking and throwing knives. (the apple is a reference to a dumb line of dialogue that Rhaim says in the upcoming chapter!)

Up next we have Rajeena, skilled warrior, very well-trained, is used to the pirate life, and the crazy Breton named Iresette, who just got a taste of freedom and she realized that she's been starved of it for all her life. (These two haven't appeared yet, but the brainrot is too strong not to include them here)

I know this next one is basically the first ship that appears in HOTHS, but it's not really a canon ship and this is all I'll say on the matter. The redhead is Anne, the voice of reason, endlessly loyal to the woman who introduced her to piracy, which is none other than the captain herself, Signe! WYGTYA readers already know how important Signe is for the plot and which iconic Skyrim NPC she secretly is ;) ALSO, THE ONE-EYED CHARACTER DESIGN IS NOW MY FAVE SIGNE TRAIT!

Since you seem to be a person of taste, do you have any favorite skyrim quest/adventure/other interactive content mods?

Hmmm, I’m not the best person to ask about this, I’m so bad at actually playing Skyrim.

But I can at least comment on the ones I have done (spoiler-free):

Clockwork - stellar horror opening, stunning home, not-so-fun quests for parts to repair the house. Pretty neat lore, though.

Project AHO - GORGEOUS setting, very cool to explore and has some unique stuff, but ngl I hate the story and feel like it railroads you onto a nonsensical (and somewhat offensive) narrative path. It does, however, have a cool library.

Carved Brink - by the same people who made AHO, so it’s visually stunning, but the plot this time is ehhhh. Never really grabbed me. Getting around was pretty fun with a new teleport spell, but even that was frustrating at a couple of points.

Beyond Reach - I feel like I should dislike this one: it’s a massive departure from Skyrim’s tone. It’s dark, edgy (but not quite Edgelord-y), and the dialogue is dense. It’s depressing. The orcs are so not TES orcs, and the Reachmen are once again shit. And yet, it’s the only one so far that had me invested in the story. YMMV, of course, it has a lot of flaws, but DAMN if it wasn’t intriguing....

Moonpath to Elsweyr - it’s fine. Short. Does some stuff with lore that isn’t really seen in Skyrim. It really shows its age, though.

Interesting NPCs - not strictly a quest mod, but includes a lot of character-driven quests. I like probably 90% of it (Rumarin is the forever banana babe) with that 10% being stuff like character dialogue choices (your DB is an ass or an idiot) and then some dumb as hell lore takes (the Ice-Eyes, ugh.)

Now, some that have been on my list to play forever but I haven’t gotten to them yet:

The Forgotten City - it’s a mod that won a writing award and got developed into an its own game. There’s a mystery, time travel, and I can’t believe I haven’t tried it yet.

Moon and Star - from what I hear, Morrowind nostalgia done well, in a way that works with Skyrim
