Jurien was always weary of working with new partners--- As rare and temporary as that was. They were impulsive, unpredictable, anxious and usually out to prove something in the end which all spelled extra work and trouble in the end. Jurien pressed his back against the wooden door that would lead out to the upstairs hallway and with steady hands turned the door knob. One thing Jurien liked about the homes of nobility was that there were plenty of unused rooms and ideal for sneaking through windows. And one thing he hated about the home of nobility was that they always came with extra security. “So… Nhago, was it?” Jurien spoke in a quiet whisper as he cracked the door open just a bit to peer out into the dimly lit hallway. “What’s this between you and Celizar?” He asked. “You know this is suppose to be an easy-in, easy-out job so I’m hoping you’ll relax on the ‘stab him in the neck and watch him die slowly’ vibes I’m picking up.” 

Jurien gently closed the door silently when he heard faint distant voices drawing near and moments after, footsteps thumped pass the door, completely unaware of their presents. When whoever had been walking by passed, Jurien looked towards his Miqo’te partner-- at least the best he could in such a dark space.

“I’ll relax knowing he will be dead soon.” Nhago quietly answered back but with such intent in his voice, Jurien could almost feel the growl of tamed rage. Still, that wasn’t want he wanted to hear and he waited just a moment more before answering.

“After we find the documents and he’s been put to trial.” Jurien insisted. “Those girls he sold off don’t get any justice because the man is dead.” He cracked the door open once again to check to see if the hall was clear. “No, killing him would be just too easy.” Jurien added before he nodded. “Alright, let’s go.”
