fun language phenomenon i like is the replacement of words for other words that begin the same way. most common one by far is "naranja" (orange) for "nada" (nothing), but theres "tacho" (can) for "taxi", "botella" (bottle) or "boston" for "vos" (you), etc. it's fun.
