Muffin Top
Okay, returning for a moment to the subject of Johnny's delectable love handles, you know for a stone-cold fact that once Danny really gets hooked, eventually it would occur to him to try and maybe…chonk them up a little more. See if he can't get things a little more squeezable in a few other areas, too, perhaps.
So he'd start surreptitiously baking. And little plates of cookies and brownies and chocolate chip muffins would just casually appear, here and there.
But the bait would mostly just draw the kids, and after a while, Johnny would stroll by a tableau of Danny fuming over another half-destroyed tray of caramel blondies and be like, "When did you turn into Little Debbie?"
And Danny, caught pretty much red-handed, would sputter out some fumbling half-sass about hospitality, or catering to the tastes of those who now occasionally share his bed.
Johnny would, of course, roll his eyes and be like, "Are you kiddin'? I can't be eatin' that stuff." And then, in the face of Danny's consternation and dejection, would take a big-ass bite out of the ham sandwich he's been casually toting around and declare, with his mouth full, "I gotta stay ripped. For the ladies. And you, now, too."
And Danny's calculations shift.
White bread.
Processed meats.
Beer.
Perhaps a balance can be maintained, at least…
