Hey guys, reminder to everyone that I don't just identify with the terms nonhuman and therian, I fully identify as a canine alongside my (sadly) physical human body.

I am a physical nonhuman. I am a dog.

And I'm tired of seeing hate towards physical nonhumans/alterhumans in our own community. Physical nonhumans, endels, shifters, and clinical zoanthropes are all an important and valid part of our community. Sure we may look like humans to you, but we are animals. We are not 'crazy' or 'mentally ill' because of this.

Everyone in the community is an animal in their own way and we all have to learn to respect that.

welcome to my corner of the forest ! i'm pantheon/theo/bear, a 20y/o werewolf nonhuman & holothere from europe. i'm a transmasc, and use exclusively he/him pronouns. engaged to the most amazing woman.

i was born in a small village by the coast. i've spent my whole life in forests and wandering by the sea, knowing that i'm a canine though i didn't have a word for how i felt until I discovered the community in 2019. years have gone by since, and i'm more connected to my therianthropy than ever before.

My identity is entirely psychological. i'm comfortable with it, and for the most part i openly express my canine identity in my day to day life.

➶ i don't have a real set date on when i awakened; i deeply believe i was simply born as a canine and later developed into a corvid . . . i have had behaviors and signs of being a canine since i was as young as i can remember, my mother has told stories of me being a puppy since ive been a puppy.

We are The Exodus Fleet, a non-disordered traumagenic system of currently 17 members. We consider ourselves to be monoconscious median for a completely of reasons, which we might adress in a seperate post one day. im confused about the “holothere” label can someone explain this to me?

the definition states that to use the label one must identify as physically and fundamentally nonhuman in every way

but afterwards it says that it applies to physical nonhumans “regardless of how they are physical nonhumans”

but what if i identify as physically nonhuman but not in a way that i consider being nonhuman in “every way”? because my sense of being is so fluid due to a plethora of experiences and disorders.

i do technically identify as physically and fundamentally nonhuman, but i dont view it as being nonhuman in every way. can i still use the label? or is there something better?

Just discovered the term holothere and oh my god it's me on every level new term!

I would still say I'm endel, since my werewolf-ness is highly influenced by delusion, and a therian because I am kin with other creatures, but holothere fits my canine identity so so so much. I am wholly canine, physically and not.
