genuinely there will never be another show like this ever again. nothing as wacky and campy and unafraid to take massive swings. that does musical episodes with a cast they didnt bother to ask about singing abilities (camp and beautiful forever). that's a love letter to art and the truest adaptation of comics as a medium as we could ever ask for.... that works overtime to make every character gay in some capacity just for fun.... that runs 7 entire seasons for 6 beautiful years.... that forces cole sprouse to sing and somehow managed to unlock actually good singing one single time for his origin of love verse and then never again ever. that has god's most beautifully campy dialogue delivered with utmost passion and sincerity. that's as unabashedly FUN as this. that has cheryl blossom my most beloved cheryl blossom. NO ONE'S GONNA DO IT LIKE THIS EVER AGAIN!!!

The cats being implied to lose some of their identity to the Starclan hive mind once they join + Starclan coming off as more and more malevolent and manipulative as the series goes on = some disturbing ass implications ab the true nature of Starclan. I mean they’ll never do this bc it would be interesting and upset the status quo, but it would literally recontextualize so much terribly thought out shit (the way that Starclan cats almost never act like they did when they were alive, Ashfur, Starclan refusing to let the clans grow past their rivalries, arbitrary rules that do more harm than good) if it turned out that Starclan (and by extension the DF) are just the sock puppets of something bigger and more sinister, some parasitic entity that clouds the minds of the souls it collects to cause strife so that it can collect more… then in the last arc the Warrior Cats can overthrow their bloody God and free the trapped souls of their ancestors <3

i dont think people on this website who think of riverdale as, like, Straight Media understand that a) the magic and genius of it comes from the mind of one of our society's foremost homosexuals roberto aguirre-sacasa himself and b) i once tried to make a list of all the gay characters in rvd with speaking roles and gave up once i hit like 40 bc that was the point in the 50s timeline archie's homophobic uncle who was calling him gay for writing poetry (there was also the fact archie and reggie were having mutual onscreen bisexual awakenings about each other after watching gay porn together but thats like, less gay than the writing poetry thing) anyway archies homophobic uncle started fucking gay kevin's cop dad. luckily the two of them were killed by betty's gay serial killer brother-in-law chic (not to be confused with her gay serial killer BROTHER charles, who chic married in a beautiful gay serial killer wedding in the normal timeline) (do you even understand core four polycule was quite literally canon at the end of the day? do you know that?)
