I don't understand all the people in various different fandoms I've seen lately ragging on rarepairs/non-canon pairs because "they don't talk to each other/have no on-screen chemistry" or "you're just putting random people together because they're not dating anyone else"
Folks.
The point of fanfiction is that IT'S NOT CANON, it's you sitting around with your fave action figures and SMASHING THEM TOGETHER
Sometimes that happens to be the most common pairing or something actually canon. But sometimes, that's you taking a square and a circle and putting them together and saying WHAT IF!
Sometimes it's looking at the parts that make up two entirely different people and asking "What would it take for these two to work together?" and the joy of that sort of exploration and discovery is INDESCRIBABLE
FANFIC DOESNT HAVE TO CARE ABOUT CANON
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT *DID* HAPPEN, IT MATTERS WHAT *COULD* HAPPEN
Thank you and have a nice day

Gwen is my girl forever. FOREVER. I’m on her side always and forever no matter what. I don’t care about her wrongdoing she can homewreck a little as a treat
Ran into the tag limit so here’s the rest of the rant:
DUNCAN HIT ON GWEN WHILE HE WAS HOLDING COURTNEY. OOOHHHHH MY GOD
HE NEVER SEEMED SORRY EITHER. THE SAD LITTLE SORRY HE GAVE COURTNEY WHILE COVERED IN SPAGHETTI WAS A PLATITUDE
Not to MENTION Gwen was the one to carry the relationship once it started
Gwen fought so hard to deny her feelings for Duncan but Duncan ultimately decided to reciprocate so she opened herself up to the relationship
Gwen was the one to start the talk about it being ok if he wanted to stop the situationship and lead them into taking it slow
Throughout that conversation all Duncan did and say by the way was kiss her and say “that’s why I like you” not adding anything of substance
And then what does he do. Pretend to still have feelings for Courtney in front of Gwen without telling her his plan so she gets her feelings hurt
Side note Duncan is a bastard and I hate him so much
Anyway my point is Duncan was so so so much worse than Gwen when it came to them getting together
But everyone dogpiled on gwen
Except Cody. Cody was sensible and knocked out Duncan thank you Cody
And DUNCAN MADE IT TO THE FINAL DAMN FIVE DESPITE BEING A BASTARD
WHYYYYY DID GWEN SUFFER MOST OF THE CONSEQUENCES WHYYYYYYYY
I think instead of throwing challenges so Gwen got eliminated Courtney should of kicked ass at challenges and watched as Duncan got kicked out of the plane
God. Gwen is my girl forever and ever and I’m on her side always

Really considering just going ahead and doing my own versions of the demon kings (Ars Goetia), I mean I've already done 3 of them currently.
Slightly OT. Partner dear really wants to see me do a take on Lilith, so I will have to get to her eventually. Got a few things on my plate atm, end of year is always hectic

I think act 1 is still my favorite bec it's iconic but also bec Taichi's issue was essentially the antithesis to the story values which are with hardwork and dedication and support even if you're absolute shit at what you're doing your passion will shine thru and that will triumph natural talent everytime BUT w Taichi he WAS hardworking and he WAS dedicated king had enthusiasm thru the ROOF and he still didn't have good stage presence which ultimately made his average skills but at least not poor skills more useless than the characters who had never even acted before. Of course he thinks there's something fundamentally wrong with him at his core, this issue isn't just with stage presence it's his entire life and LOOK AROUND in a3's world there's supposed to be some kind pay off for dedication look at spring none of them had really acted for shit before then and everything just works out or even characters like muku & juza who are exactly the thesis of a3's message. If everything works out like that in a3's world, no wonder he doesn't understand why HIS hardwork doesn't pay off!!!!! What is HE doing wrong??? What's wrong with him specifically out of everyone else???? Why is everyone else's simple passion enough to make them good actors, but not his????? What is wrong with him????

Harriet needs a hug after hearing those bad, bad words. :c
she accepts the hug very gratefully, making sure darcy was also included. “ thank you very much, miss khare. sometimes these things - these strange things confuse me so. ”
“ …do you think you could bake those muffins again ? ” harriet very meekly asked, fluttering her eyelashes with a pout ; not-so-subtly begging.

Pseudo Hardcore World Update!
Once again I have a house!
And this time I built it entirely by hand! But it’s not done yet…
This is all I’ll show, I’ll continue to update as I continue to build it. I’m making it look like an abandoned bunker, it’s gonna be a pain to get the cobwebs for it but I have a pretty good fishing rod and an enchanting table set up.
I also had a near death experience with a creeper, leaving me on half a heart.

i had the chance to present a short - 2 minute - thingy to camel town counsel today. i wrote it in my head over the last week - found out I'd be doing this on Wednesday last week - and wrote the first hard draft yesterday which I then edited and typed up - and edited a few more times.
this afternoon I wrote 4 cue cards for myself, each for about 30 seconds of speech and tucked them into the pocket of my 3 piece suit. I only wore 2 pieces because it was 32 degrees C today and I didn't want to melt into a puddle.
Ianto came with me and did pretty well. He didn't like the presentation part of the shindig but was mostly quiet and respectful of the proceedings.
Here's the script I finished with. Obviously I didn't follow it exactly from the cue cards because... well cue cards and you have to be able to adapt to your audience.
Mayor [redacted], Honoured counsellors, and fellow attendees. I am Farmer, and I am the Heritage Manger for the [camel town heritage society]. This is my dog Ianto, you might have seen us out and about.
I brought with me an object that is often called a ‘key’ object by museologists. This particular key is a box I found in storage shortly after I began my work in April. The museum is full of amazing objects which connect intrinsically to our past; it is my job to share their stories with visitors. By the time I found this box, I knew camel town had a large population of Chinese minors, but didn’t know much else. And here was this gorgeous brass box.
So, to add to our small Chinese history display, I dusted off the box and set it up in the gallery. I also took the opportunity to go through that display area and modernize the case. After that, magic happened.
The very next day two international students stopped by. Upon seeing our newly displayed box they got excited. They could read it! The first two words were “Hong Kong” - their home city. It didn’t take us long to learn that the “Pang Yu Tai Lung Kee” tea house still exists today.
Since then, my transformative efforts to go through each display and highlight key objects has lead to us learning about our WWI bayonets, our 10,000 year old micro-blades, our geological collections, and much more.
This has lead to the dismantling of two dioramas. Dioramas were a popular manner of display in the past, and these ones were clearly constructed with love but, by transforming the dioramas into gallery space we are able to modernize the displays to tell specific stories. One is dedicated to [local nation] basketry, and the other focus on the Household and luxury during [Camel town’s] gold rush peek.
I have many plans for the remaining diorama space including using one for rotating through our collection of photographs, paintings, handmade rugs, and other fine arts; using another to bring [historical figure] up from the inaccessible basement, and having space for rotating various exhibits to help us sustain our community. This way, we still have our permanent collection available to new visitors, but there is always something new for locals to learn about.
We have also been working with other societies to take on the stewardship needed to sustain heritage sites around [camel town]. While my main focus is currently the museum’s collection, I am ready and willing to work with anyone, from individuals, to school students, to business owners and beyond, hoping to preserve their history through our archives, collection, or other support systems.
With the support of the district, our heritage can shine. Thank you for listening to me, are there any questions?
would you give us money?
