Owning Vintage

Hi...Crat here...many Vintage items are so popular right now! People, even celebrities want to own vintage items whether it be clothes, shoes, furniture or other items.

Many, very valuable items land up at thrift stores, auctions and yard sales for various reasons. So many people just want to "get rid" of their family "treasures " after their loved ones give up house keeping or pass away. I have seen so many items that I think could have been some elderly lady's treasure that is on the shelf at the store for sale. My heart is touched at that thought. Life goes on...

My site will help you discover things from the past that can be handed down as family heirlooms and saved from the landfills.

I have spent many hours searching for information about vintage items. While some items may not have a history that is discovered by me...many others do. I provide extra information on most of my postings that will help you know the history behind the item.

Perhaps you have a family treasure and just want to know some history about it but would never want to sell it. I have helpful tips on my site about such things as that. That site is 4chicksvintage.com.

My grandma's kenmore sewing machine from 1971 performs better than my new babylock in every way but at least the babylock has... *checks notes* a drop-in bobbin that jams up half of the time and an automatic thread cutter that works properly only when the winds are blowing eastward 🙄

#sewing machines are kinda like cars if there's more fiddly little bullshit that can break it will it's just a matter of time #yes i do clean my babylock it's just overpriced unreliable plastic trash and a lot of these newer machines are #if you're planning on buying a sewing machine go vintage; the metal ones made in the 70's and before are absolute tanks #thank you for coming to my vent post
