Really shows a lot of the detail going into what can be implied and communicated just from a couple seconds.

Spoilers below(thank god i finally found it out)

The obvious surface level joke is that its a world where robots clearly speak and understand english, but siri still fucking sucks. Then you get a level deeper and realize thats probably the point, what runs a single cockroach really is just a simple program, thats all it was supposed to run, it has AI for very basic things like pathfinding, voice recognition, face recognition,some sort of future RFID(seeing as it scans Uzis face first before scanning her collar),and walking with its legs, but it doesnt have human reasoning like drones do. Then you get a level deeper and get interesting ideas of where the bug can come from and who specifically designed it rather than trusting a drone themself to do it.

I think in general it shows that the story and mystery being made actually has an end goal, so it doesnt fall into the same "Mystery Box" trap. The only real problem is that it can be a bit overwhelming to try and parse the details, and it messes with the pacing to feel faster than it should, but overall the main plot of each episode carries itself well enough that someone who isnt really paying attention can still have a pretty decent time watching the show... well, the first 4 episodes at least, apparently were at the halfway point for season 1. Lets hope the second half keeps the same quality.

Post for which the target audience is me and me alone, but like. Current Sonic Dash update is bad for a multitude of reasons, but definitely the biggest one, which has like actively put a lot of people off of the game even if the Hardlight server is anything to go off of, is just that upgrading literally any character takes absolutely fucking forever due to being tied to randomly spawning cards on the track. It stinks really really badly because suddenly the grind is just on a completely new scale that quite literally nobody wants to commit to. And what’s even stranger is it’s not like “they made it harder for f2ps and easier for paying players”, because no, there’s not a way to spend money to speed it up or do anything faster. So it’s literally just a negative change for the hell of it.

But, even though nobody asked, I did kinda just think up a potential solution or way to negate the problem that actually solves a different problem at the same time and isn’t just “roll back the update completely” (which lol they should do but for the sake of argument we’re gonna retain the original system here). And that’s literally just. Let us spend gems in addition to cards, for character upgrades. Gems are unlocked by beating missions and are used for zone construction, but once you’ve finished building every zone which isn’t really a demanding process at all, you’ve got nothing else to do with your gems. And they just build up and amount to nothing. Currently I’m at nearly 30,000 gems - bearing in mind the most expensive singular zone construct is like, 1175 gems or something. So I’ve just got this currency that’s piling up and not doing anything for me. So yeah like idk I think it’d be cool if you could effectively convert them into an amount of cards for upgrading characters. If they wanna remain stingy fucks it doesn’t need to be 1 gem = 1 card but idk make the conversion different per rarity. Now I’ve got a reason to keep collecting gems and it doesn’t just undo the current system either. Also means you can upgrade certain characters even past their events being finished, which is something you could do before that this upgrade changed for the absolute fucking worse but hey in this new system they fix that issue. You know. Et cetera.
