How would you feel about ships being made with your characters? Once a friend said something about Kell and Tommy but didn't elaborate as it didn't know if you'd be OK with that. And it left me thinking

Not sure if this counts in the subject, but I had the mental image of Arden subtly flirting with Gordon (but only to get Benrey annoyed, not actually meaning it) so I wanted to know your opinion on that sort of stuff, to see if I shouldn't do it again or if it's ok :3

I’m 100% ok with ships with my characters, so long as ya bring it up with me (like now lol) ^^ whether it be oc or another character in canon.

Kell is Gordo’s ex, so for as much as I draw those two together that was in their past so I don’t mind if you or whoever pair him with someone else (I’ll admit I’ve thought of the two as well, purple is complimentary to yellow after all :) also I’ve considered Barney n’ Kell?)

As for Arden n’ Gordon, oh yeah I’ve also dabbled. The tiniest part of Arden thinks he’s cute but he mostly just sees him as a meat puppet to fuck with Ben.

But yeah! So long as there isn’t a problematic age gap or whatever I’m game! 👍

Someone went a bit greedy there with questions ;)

A: How did you come up with the title to [insert fic]?

Well, the thing about my titles is that I learned a long time ago that I'm terrible at picking them, and it takes me forever to choose. So I came up with a system where I just pick the first thing that comes into my head when thinking about the fic and hope for the best😅

The only one that changed was Privileges, which was originally named Good Reasons, because I felt like the name didn't work anymore.

G: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

Oh, start to finish. I find it difficult not to write in order. I have some future scenes sometimes in a separate doc, but everything else is written chronologically.

K: What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

Alone

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

Of course! There are so many great writers in this fandom. We are truly blessed. But I think that one of the main points of influence on my writing is actually cinema. I come from an editing background, and I feel that the way I write is in many ways similar to the way I think when I edit, at least from a storytelling point.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

I can't resist me a good ol' soulmates au. I'm also a suckered for a sports au.

U: Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.

@inkedroplets - Their writing is very poetic in a very emotional way, not to mention often includ characters from the extended dc universe, which is always a treat and makes the world feel bigger and more alive. Everything they write is just a joy to read, and I highly recommend them.

@mycatismyeditor - They have a deep hole of unending stories and senarios in their head, and I often wonder how they function with that, but they do. They have so many stories published, and they are somehow all absolutely amazing, fun, and just a pure delight to read. (There's a good reason why half of my bookmarks are just their works)

@thornedrose44 - Everything they write is gold. They write with care and emotion, with a very deep understanding of the characters and fantastic world building. I love their work so much and can't recommend them enough.

V: If you could write the sequel (or prequel) to any fic out there not written by yourself, which would you choose?

Oh, okay, I do have one idea for a fic that is not yet published by a friend, so maybe once it's out there, I'll take a cracking at it😂

8) If you could rule the world for a day what would you do?

8) Sometimes I think...yeah I'm creative. Other times, like this time, I feel like the stupidest person alive. Because I bet there are so many clever, cool ways to answer this, or maybe realistic ones at least. This won't be a fun answer , sorrayyy. All I think is fire the whole C-Level of the biggest monopolies and companies, put the Elon Musks and Trumps and Putins of the world into a rocket to saturn (the depression planet, did you know that?) and replace all of them with C-Levels voted by the lowest paid workers of their companies. Release all patents on medicines so everyone can produce them so less people die. Implement mendatory classes on racial discrimination in schools and law enforcement. Ban guns. Bye bye guns. Raise minimum wage everywhere by taxing the shit out of the rich. Implement unconditional basic income that people can pay at least average rents with so we all don't have to work SHITTY jobs but contribute to society. (pssst this is my world) And of course, release all deleted scenes of any showever on Youtube.

But what are your triggers just so I don't accidentally send an ask on anon or not that might upset you? Was trying to look for anything like that on your links n' stuff but didn't see anything.

I don't really have any triggers in a fictional sense, I don't think. At least, none come to mind.

Most of them are audio triggers like men yelling angrily at someone else in a scolding / lecturing manner, or even getting angry at a video game or something.

IE: there's a train scene in FFXV that I have to mute every time where Gladio yells angrily at Noctis. It gets my heart racing to a point it makes me feel unwell, because of the physical and emotional abuse I've suffered in real life at the hands of a man ever since I was a child.

I can write it out just fine, but having to ever see or hear that will make me freak out.

If there's ever anything I can't handle in story forms, though, I will always opt to not answer. ♥ You don't have to worry about that.

The best piece of advice I ever got was not meant as advice, but as an edict. If I was going to threaten people as a joke, it had to be so far out of proportion with what happened that it would be obvious I was joking. This changed how I expressed frustration with others. It then changed how I expressed frustration with myself.

Not “I’m going to hit you” but “I am going to buy a tuna sub from the gas station and hide it under the seat of your car”

Not “I’m going to kill myself” but “I am going to walk into the desert and let the scarabs take me”

The other side then happened. When I mess something up, instead of saying it’s bad and perpetuating negative thoughts, swing hard the other way.

Not “this art is terrible” but “this shall be framed and mounted on the wall in my museum exhibition as testament to the suffering I had to overcome”

Have been doing this since high school. It was my drama teacher who asked me to please stop scaring the actors. The other half of the edict was that I had to say it in a polite tone, and end it with either please or thank you.
