#i quit my job last week #one of them #i started a job 7 months ago with one of the local animal rescues #it only took 7 months to suck all of the life out of me #i feel so ashamed that i've quit #but i was working 60 hour weeks #with only one day off #and i was watching dog after dog die #and i do that anyway #i work at a vet clinic where euthanasia is a daily part of ife #but these weren't euthanasias #there was nothing kind about these dogs dying #they lost their lives because the organisation failed them #they should have lived #and i saved some #i saved as many as i could #but it wasn't nearly enough #and so so so many more will die now that i'm not there #which is why i am crippled with guilt #i feel relieved because i now have time to go to the river with my dogs #which i havent done in months #but i also feel shame that my dogs are living beautiful lives when others are not #when i should be helping others #idk man #iit's a sucky feeling #miller #budgie #dogs

Been thinking about the X-Files recently. A show I have a hazy, but fond memory of.

And everything is a conspiracy. #...It *has* been nearly a decade since I saw the x files. I think I'd have a hard time rewatching for a few reasons but I did enjoy it. #This was initially just a work doodle I wasn't going to clean up #but the amount of x-files fans that Ive seen about + Lazycranberryart's wangxian x-files art got my brain too fired up. #Mulderscully vibes are like: "I'm her silly rabbit. she doesn't call me that outloud. But I believe in my heart it's true.' #Its about having faith and trust in each other! They might not always agree either but they have each other's backs! #Scully is 100% the one that kills the spiders in the relationship. reading volume 105 and I had forgotten we actually got mihawk's bounty and on page acknowledgement that he's a better swordsman than shanks??? they have half a billion difference in bounty mihawk's is still over half a billion above luffy's this is absolutely fantastic to me for many many reasons but especially because by god zoro seriously fought him ten volumes in. he really tried to fight someone with three times king's bounty with only one named sword and three weeks of experience as a pirate. he actually left his village at age sixteen specifically looking for him and went up to him at age nineteen convinced he was gonna win. and he had the guts to complain about mihawk using the butter knife to fight him too how is he alive he's so lucky mihawk felt like adopting that day
