MY SON MY CHILDE MY BOY!!!! I'm so excited u don't understand whooooooo!!! I'm so ready for him to cause the fake french maybe also british (or even spanish, honestly vaguely 'western' european) people so many issues.
I can imagine in my heart of hearts off screen he is causing one totally canon Lieutenant Claude Anouilh of the Fontaine Armed Forces endless issues. I can believe.
But in all seriousness I'm super interested in this because of the potential for some more Harbinger interaction. Other than Siggy and him (and some implied mostly off screen interactions) we really don't have any and Arlecchino in particular is also there. She and Childe have some honestly super fascinating contradictory beliefs in child raising (childe does anything to keep their innocence while she seemingly raises them so they would be prepared for anything regardless of what they have to go through). Other than Pulcinella and Columbina (though all 3 for very different reasons), Arlecchino is definitely the one I'm most interested in seeing interact with Childe.

3k words, pnv sex, pussy eating, dubcon, and dead dove. Rj doesn't have the same rancid vibes as Otis, and he loves eating pussy more than he loves himself. crossposted on a03.
She’s been chained to the radiator so long that she’s surprised she hasn’t melted yet. A fine little puddle of forgotten womanhood. Bare naked under her nightgown, Denise still felt like she was covered in thick wool layers. Scratchy with sweat and heavy against her shoulders, just like the sweaters she used to wear in the winter. She was removed from Tiny’s domain a little over a week ago, and she almost missed him. Tiny was a gentle giant. He never bothered her unless he wanted to apply more makeup or brush out her hair; his most favorite dolly in the collection, with her flexible ball-joints, so fragile she can barely move at all.
Maybe that's why he got bored with her, or maybe he just was very good at sharing with his older brother. RJ was an unsettlingly quiet man, but his touches weren’t quiet — or soft. His heavy hand fisted in her long hair, twisting delicate strands around his thick fingers, tugging and pulling; making sure she knew who was in charge. Usually, RJ lurked around the house like a sulky cat unless he had to work. Today, he planted himself on his bed, a beer in hand, watching whatever was on the TV. With one massive finger, he cracked open the beer and explained, “A hardworkin’ man needs some time off.”
Denise didn’t know what to say to that. Wetting her dry lips, she found it was better to agree with him. “You deserve it.” Her voice, hoarse from thirst — and neglect, startled her. RJ didn’t seem to care, he only smirked in response. He seemed to like things quiet. He was a busy man, getting up before the sun was out, and often getting home late into the night. Denise supposed that was something good about him.
Good or not, he was still petting her, petting her like some sort of animal.
His grimy, thick nails dug deep into her scalp like he was trying to dig her hair follicles out one by one. Denise watched him like a hawk would a mouse, trying to gage the reaction he wanted from her. Tiny was simple, he wanted a pretty doll to play with. RJ didn’t want a dolly, he wanted a dog. Something loyal and alive to welcome him back home after a long day, he didn’t want a doll; he wanted a woman. Something warm to stuff himself inside off when he felt that certain itch.
Denise was a crumpled, sweaty mess chained to his radiator. It wasn’t like she had a choice. Escape was a fantasy, a bitter, apathetic fantasy. Denise didn’t know why she clung to it; or her memories. She replayed them like worn home movies in her mind, especially the ones of Jerry. She missed him so much that it felt like someone whipped welts against her heart. It hurt so badly to think about him, to think about them. The ache felt so bad, like the exposed nerves of a rotten tooth in a mouthful of nothing but sugar.
Denise forced apart her dry lips again. “It must be very hard.” She went on, unable to stand the silence. Jerry didn’t believe in working for the “man.” Jerry wanted to be a freedom child, a love product of the sixties who still held ironclad to his parents' beliefs, a pair of old timers who Peter Panned through life and instilled the same ethics in their only son. Denise wondered if they even knew he was missing, if they even cared.
“Been a lot of work lately.” RJ grumbled. “Assholes need to learn how to drive.”
“I can’t drive,” Denise blurted out. “No one ever taught me.” As if he would care. She was only some plaything for him until he got bored, which would be soon. Denise could taste her impending death like she could the grits on her teeth from yesterday's breakfast. The fingers in her hair paused, and relief rushed through her, hoping he was done petting her; but RJ only trailed his hand down her neck, rubbing in circles with the pad of his massive thumb at the base of her neck, jolting her body forward with every motion he made.
His rough hands must’ve broken a lot of toys growing up, seemed like he traded in breaking toys for breaking bones. He could easily snap her neck like a bendable straw, and feel just about that the same for her as he did the straw.
“Mama don’t drive, either.” RJ mused. “Lotsa ladies don’t drive. Spaudlin’ taught Baby, I think.” He chuckled to himself, “Tried too, anyway. Girl ran his truck into a wall.”
Maybe that’s why the bitch has scrambled eggs for brains. “That sounds very scary.” Her daddy never wanted her to drive. He was just trying to keep her safe, like he always did. She should’ve listened to him better, that he was right; he did know more, he knew better than she did. The world was a cold, disgusting place waiting to chew on you and spit you out, bones and all. He was right about it all, even Jerry. He was just some hippie going nowhere, even if his heart was in the right place for everything he did. Denise wouldn’t have gone out with him. She wouldn’t of loved him so much if he was a bad person; he was just misunderstood.
Even when they fought, Denise never thought he was an evil man. He just didn’t have the same upbringing that she did. Jerry always told her that she’d choke on that silver spoon one day. Be true to yourself, baby, he’d say to her; then grimace when she did. Denise Willis was not a hippie chick, she was not a freedom child, and she knew that about herself. She believed in justice; Denise believed in soap and aspirin — she didn’t want to live on some community convent like Jerry grew up on; she wanted a spacious little apartment on Hollywood and Vine.
Don’t frown like that, Dee. Jerry used to say. Don’t be such a square, Dee. It’s just a road trip. Don’t do this, Denise, Don’t do that. He almost reminded her of a father in that way, always needing to be in control of what she was doing, thinking, feeling — at least RJ didn’t do that. Under his touch, at her own grotesque thoughts, Denise shivered. She shouldn’t think like that, couldn’t think like that. RJ was not some reluctant hero under the heavy foot of his overbearing family, if anything, he was the pure muscle that made sure they got their evil deeds done.
He was nothing to her, nothing but her captor, an enormous bear guarding the stolen princess.
“Naw. Baby thought it was funny. Now, she ain’t ‘loud to be in the drivers-seat. Me’n Otis gotta drive them everywhere. Don’t mind though, love my mama.”
Denise loved her mother, too. She’d give anything to see her again. “That’s nice.”
RJ shifted on the bed, dipping his hand down the back of her dress, fingers digging into the soft flesh of her ass. “You’re nice.”
His hand was warm and damp against her skin, the rough skin scratching an itch Denise didn’t know she had. “My boyfriend used to say I could be a real bitch.”
RJ scoffed. “That hippie sonbitch’ didn’t know his ass from his mouth.” He paused his hand. “Ain’t nothing bitchy about you. Maybe your friend with the braids, but not you.”
Mary. She missed Mary. She was just so excited about starting a new life. Some good that did her. “Mary wasn’t so bad. She had a hard life,” Denise whispered. “But, thank you.”
“Rich girls don’t have hard lives.” RJ said nonchalantly. “Maybe bad days, but not hard lives. Did you have a hard life?” It was the first time he’d ever asked her a question, or bothered to hold a conversation with her.
“No.” Denise admitted, reluctantly. “I had a good life. Until Captain Spauldings.”
RJ laughed at that, too. Finally, bored with petting her, he withdrew his hand from the back of her dress. “Suppose that coulda been a bad day for you.” He took the last swallow of his beer and reached for her again, taking her chin in his massive hand. “Wasn’t such a bad turnout for me. Always thought you was pretty.”
Her breath hitched in her throat. Did he want a “Thank You”? His words felt like maggots burrowing under her skin, eating away at the last bit of humanity she had left. He brushed his thumb against her lips, filling her nose with the faint remnants of sour beer and tobacco. Denise watched him watch her, with half-lidded eyes and a sloppy smirk. He pushed against her clammed lips, demanding entrance into the soft warmth of her mouth. He would keep pushing until he broke teeth, and she’d rather keep all her teeth while she could; So, Denise opened her mouth for him.
“Tiny didn’t know what to do with you. Not like I do,” RJ went on, sliding his thumb gently against her tongue. “Otis is too rough. He likes to break pretty things. I don’t break things.” He paused, laughing. “Well, I don’t try to make a habit of it. Sometimes pretty things are so damn breakable.”
You won’t break me. Denise thought, even with her lips locked around his thumb, she was too stubborn to be broken. Denise wasn’t brave like Mary was, but what was that old bible passage? The meek would inherit the world? All she had to do was bide her time until she was found; and she would be found, Denise was sure of that.
RJ moved this thumb in and out, swirling it around in her mouth, “You like this, don’t you?” He panted. “Gettin’ me all worked up really does something for you, don’t it, mama?”
If that’s what you want to tell yourself. Denise could taste him all over her tongue, and it made her want to retch. But she looked up at him through her lashes, watching the faint blush crawl across his nose, from their interaction or the alcohol — she wasn’t sure; maybe both. She lapped her tongue around his gargantuan finger; Denise was no seductress, she was just an awkward tomboy, something Jerry always made sure to remind her of during their own lovemaking.
“Don’t be so cold, Dee. Can you try to be sexy?” He’d complain. Usually when the fault was undoubtedly with him. Daringly, she wrapped her slender hand around his huge wrist, watching him like a cat would their favorite mouse. But, whatever she had, whatever she was doing; it was good enough for RJ, and that excited something treacherous inside her.
RJ’s chest rose and fell in hurried breaths, his eyes never leaving hers, and something dribbled traitorously against her thigh. RJ jammed his finger deeper into her mouth, and she stifled a gag, his thumb creasing the bottom of her chin. “Let's see how well you do with the real deal, baby.” He said, breathlessly. Sliding his finger free from the wet warmth of her mouth, RJ fumbled over his own belt buckle. “Got me so hard already, baby.”
Drool dripped from her chin onto her nightgown. In her haze, Denise nodded. She’d given head before, though Jerry told her she gave it like a decapitated fish. “Show me,” she rasped, the demand tasting funny in her mouth, like it shouldn’t be there at all. “Show me how hard I make you.”
RJ laughed, giving himself a few eager strokes. “You like what you see, mama?”
“Maybe I do, maybe I don’t.” Denise sleezed, forgetting herself, forgetting she was bleeding in shark-infested waters. He was bigger than Jerry was, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything. RJ could either be the best or worse lay of her entire life.
“Yeah, you do.” RJ boosted. “I saw the way your eyes got wide, bigger than that hippie, huh?”
Denise bit into the fat on her bottom lip. She didn’t want to talk about Jerry now. It was bad enough he plagued her thoughts like some omen. "Does it matter?"
“Yeah. It does, and I am. Bigger than most,” inhaling, RJ worked his giant fist down his cock, smirking at her. “Most girls are scareda’ me.”
Regrettably, her cunt clenched around nothing. “Maybe I’m not most girls.”
“Naw. If you was, you wouldn’t be here right now.” He rubbed his thumb over his reddening tip, “Come on, then.”
Denise edges closer, the chain dragging behind her against the worn floor boards like some fat, slow snake.
substituting his larger hand with her smaller one — which barely encompass his entire shaft. She twists her wrist upwards against his sweaty skin, and RJ groans, bucking his hips against her hand. Maybe it had been awhile. She pumps him downwards, running her thumb along his length, she watches his fingers curl into the dirty sheets below him; was he itching to get those hands on her? Was she itching to let him? Her cunt was aching to be teased, and that disgusted her.
Denise gathered saliva in her mouth, and spat, earning a head tossing moan from RJ. Working, and twisting her wrists, Denise watched his hips twitch, and his fingers dig deeper into the sheets, she couldn’t imagine what he’d do once she had him in her mouth. He might explode.
“You like this?” Denise asks. “Does it feel good?”
“Yes,” RJ says, breathlessly. “It feels so fucking good.”
Good. It made her feel powerful in a situation that gave her little power at all. Without warning, Denise bowed her head and swirled her tongue around his head, trailing along his meatus. RJ bucks his hips again, forcing more of himself into her mouth, and Denise gags at the sudden invasion. One hand braces itself against his wide leg, and the other grabs at his shaft.
“Gotta warn a man, angel. Shit feels too good.” His heavy hand comes up to collect a wad of hair between his fingers, forcing her down on his dick further. “Take it, baby. I know you can.”
The lack of air causes her throat to constrict around him, her jaw aches, and the tears blur her vision — but she was no quitter. Denise bobs her head up and down along his length, like the good slut she was becoming for him. She didn’t have a fucking choice. Despite that, she has to squeeze her thighs together at his hot, vile words, and the downright nasty noises he was making at her touch. They shouldn’t be making her feel so good, they shouldn’t be lighting a fire under her ass. Still, her tongue laps at him eagerly, teasing him with her little love flicks. Her tongue kisses the parts of him she can’t explore with her hands. Slipping one hand away from his shaft, she dares to tug on his balls, testing the waters to see how far was too far with him.
“Fuck. You keep this shit up, and I’m gonna cum.” RJ growls, fingers digging into her scalp. “Don’t fucking stop. Come on, take all of me baby, please.” He thrusts up into her mouth again, desperate.
Her throat constricted tightly around him again, and this time she can taste the bile rise in the back of hr throat. Without a second thought, Denise spits him out from her mouth and coughs a few times before wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
“I can’t,” she whined. “I can’t breathe when you do that.”
“That’s fine baby. I want to take you for a spin, anyway.” RJ moves fast for a man so large. He makes quick work of the heavy chain around her ankle, but Denise has no time to be relieved when she’s hosted up from the ground. RJ lifted her with ease. He was a behemoth, she probably felt like nothing to him. His wide chest rose and fell under her palms. Was he nervous? His breathing was so fast — excited? Maybe he just wanted her to take control, and that was almost comical. He was such a large man, an imposing man; he could crush her with the raw strength of his thighs. But he wanted her to get on top and ride him.
“You look good like that,” he mused. His large hands coming to rest on her hips, softly rocking her against his waiting, hot, heavy erection. “Feels good, too.”
“Thank you,” Denise forced out, her voice strained. The sensation of him against the small of her back was maddening.
With a smack, RJ's large hands pressed down on her folded thighs, tenderly squeezing them hard enough to bruise. RJ smirked and pulled her forward without waiting for a response, “let's go for a ride.”
“I can’t sit directly over your face,” Denise said. No one had ever offered to eat her out before. Figures the first time some psycho would be the one. “Won’t you suffocate?”
RJ howled with laughter. “Death by eatin’ pussy? What a way to go. I wouldn’t mind that on my tombstone.”
Denise couldn’t help but blush. “I’ve never done this before.” She told him, like it mattered at all to him.
“What? That hippie never took you for a spin?” RJ scoffed. “Fuckin’ idiot. Get up here, I’ll show you what a real man does with a woman.” He pulled her forward, raising her up over his face, “I won’t suffocate.” He added, “Swear it.”
Maybe she should want him to. This shouldn’t be this…cozy, or fun. It was dirty, nasty, and wrong. Denise gasped as her sweat-drenched body lowered onto his waiting mouth. She trembled as he playfully teased her with gentle licks, as if she tasted like some kind of candy. With eager, but slow flicks of his tongue. He dragged it along her folds, not giving her a moment to collect herself before he found her clit with his teeth. He pushed his face harder against her, hands gripping tightly against her thighs, burying himself in all her sticky, wet, glory.
“Fuck,” Denise moaned, planting her hands firmly against the wall. “Oh my god, oh my fucking god.” She couldn’t help but grind down against his tongue. The heat building in her belly was killing her. She could imagine it boiling her organs and frying her heart; killing her before she could reach her feverous peak. His teeth nipped at her labia, like he wanted to make it bleed, make it hurt — and it did. It hurt so good. “RJ, fuck I’m gonna cum.” She tried to peel herself off him, the pleasure building, making her thoughts hazy, only to be slammed back down against his face. Below her, he growled against her cunt, a warning: Do not do that again.
“Shit,” rocking her hips forward into him, Denise clenched her thighs on either side of his head, feeling his low moan erupted from his mouth, and it sent shivers down her spine. Grinding down, Denise threw her head back — her teeth bit hard into her lower lip, and for a split second she hoped that she tasted like acid against his lips. Her orgasm ripped through her like a goddamn freight train, shockwaves of pure, unbridled heat raced through her body, arching her back as far as she humanly could; Denise howled like some lost wolf looking for the light of the moon.
RJ loosened his grip against her thighs, leaving delicate temporary tattoos of his fingers along her skin. He allowed her to slither from his mouth and crumble against his chest in a spent heap. RJ wiped at it with the back of his mouth with his hand. “You cum real pretty, baby girl.” He reached behind him, tapping her lower back with his still hard cock, “Daddy’s turn now, hop on it.”
“I-I can’t, at least give me a break,” Denise whined. Jerry never had her so tired out. There was no way that she could go another round with him like this. “Please, Rufus.”
“I like when you say my name,” He tapped her again, “I want you to scream it.”
Whining, Denise raised her weak body up, rubbing her drooling cunt against the head of his dick. Hating how much she ached to feel it hollow her out, slowly, she forces her tired, puffy cunt down over his red, angry head, sighing at the sensation of being so damn full. She hates how stupid he’s making her, but he is good at making her forget everything; and Denise hasn’t felt this good in weeks. Maybe longer, when was the last time she came that hard with Jerry? The curve of his cock brushes against somewhere that bubbles a moan up from her parted lips; potentially, it wouldn’t be so bad to get fucked this stupid if he blocked everything else in the world out.
RJ groans, bucking up into her warm, wet, eager hole. “Better dick than that hippie, isn't it?”
“God, yes,” Denise moans, voice discombobulated — like she’s been chewing on a ball of cotton. “Rufus, please.” RJ grunts, thrusting his hips up, hitting that same spot from earlier, and phosphenes danced behind her eyes. Denise tries to move her hips, tries to match his pace, but she’s too fuckstupid, too far gone to have any sort of rhythm; she braces her hands against his chest and peers at him through heavy eyes darkened by her own lashes. He’s smirking at her. His hands find her hips, and he guides her along with him, grinding her down against him like a pretty dolly that she is.
Denise rocks back onto him, and each desperate thrust squelches sticky and wet. Anger blooms next to her own arousal. How dare she allow this to happen? What would her friends think of her now? What would her parents think of her? Her inner walls constricted and RJ grunts. Suddenly, it didn’t fucking matter; her brain turned just as sloppy and wet as her cunt and nothing else seemed to make sense.
“You got another one for me, baby?” RJ groans, “I know you do. Come on, let me feel you cum again.” The rusty bedsprings squeaked loudly in time to the two tightly entwined bodies struggling wildly against each other. The sounds of deep, straining grunts and groans filled the hot, stifling air of the room. Mingling with the noise of sweat soaked flesh smacking sharply against sweat soaked flesh and the wet, viscous slurp of his pile driving cock going in and out of her cunt.
Denise gasped, her hips ground uncontrollably against his. Soft mewling animal sounds escaped pitifully from between her passion clenched teeth. “It hurts,” she whimpered, through bared teeth, suddenly, with a deep throated groan, her body began vibrating uncontrollably.
“Y’like it when it hurts, baby?” RJ groans. “Tell me you like it when it hurts.”
“Fuck,” Denise's body felt itself coming to life now. The pain was receding and was slowly giving way to a maddening electric tingle that began deep within her womb and seeped relentlessly through the raw nerve ends of her flesh. “I like when it hurts, Rufus.” Her orgasm rippled through her cunt, dancing like fire across her thighs, up the full length of her legs and circled around inside her toes, curling them tightly against the bottoms of her feet. She can feel RJ pulse inside her. Through her lidded eyes, she watched his jaw tighten at his own impending orgasm. It almost looks painful, but he drew his hips back and gave one final slam into her abused cunt before draining himself deep inside her.
“You don’t disappoint, you know that?” RJ said, breathless, running his fingers along her back. He made no moves to remove himself from her, despite how soft he was growing inside her.
Thin rivulets of sweat rolled down her forehead. Collapsing against RJ’s chest, Denise gasped like some sort of fish out of water. “I’ve got a lot to live for,” she muttered, too spent to think about what she was saying.
“I knew you’d be a good pick,” RJ mused, not paying any attention to what she was saying. “Knew you’d be the type to bring home to mama, but know your way around the fuckin’ bedroom. Hate havin’ to train bitches.”
Denise shuddered at the implication of his words. The haze in her mind was clearing, and she didn’t want to think about what he meant.

I'll put my bias right up front: I'm someone who loved The Sandman ten years ago in high school where it was tremendously influential and meaningful to me, but I haven't read it in the intervening years. So all interaction I have with the show is a combination of nostalgia, overanalysis of my youth's media that I haven't thought about in a while, half-remembered recognition of story elements that blasted my tits off a decade ago, and a constant questioning attitude of "wait did they change that or did I not remember it correctly".
For me, the main problem of The Sandman TV show is that while the show is quite good at depicting the supernatural world, I don't like the plotlines with the straight up humans because I do not recognize their characterization as based in the real world. And unfortunately since Rose is our primary outsider to the magic world we spend time with, she becomes the crux of my issues. (I dislike Lyta and her plotline a lot more, but her characterization is not nearly as important to making the entire back half of the story work.)
Neither Rose nor Jed seem to react to their situations in a way that makes sense to me. Rose reacts to everything from "I have a long lost 118 year old great grandmother who gave birth while in a coma?" to "my friend is pregnant with her dead husband's dream baby" to "my brother who has disappeared from a house where his foster family has been murdered and now I'm getting a call from a man who just randomly has him and is driving him out of state" with the same level of like "huh. well that was weird." It makes sense when Abel reacts nonchalantly to his own murder because he's a mythological figure endlessly reenacting his own story. It doesn't make sense when Rose is as emotionally blasé about seeing a guy murder someone in front of her and then offer her a hotel room, because despite her role as a vortex, she's also a human being and we more or less know how humans generally react to things. You can (and should!) have characters act counter to our expectations, but you need to do the narrative character work.
But also part of this is the fault of the conceit. Like ROSE GIRL your ability to fall asleep at the drop of a hat no matter happened last scene or the current emotional stakes? Undercuts narrative tension. I think the show could do a much better job with Rose's characterization over all because the cumulative effect of her scenes and her character decisions are of someone barely invested in the strangeness and stakes of what's going on around her.
(I'm also struggling to articulate how race fits into this and I hope someone smarter can better explore that or dispute me, but the change of Rose from a blonde white woman to a dark skinned black woman with relatively little changes to her story leaves some scenes feeling...unresolved? Like Rose, a black woman, raising her voice to the social worker who won't tell her about her brother, and then Lyta, a white woman, comes back privately to apologize for Rose's anger, at which point the social worker goes to check on this black child being fostered by two white people, in a room where the vibes are so rancid, and the social worker is like "I don't need to talk to the child privately, this is a good placement and I'm a good social worker"--there's something there! I don't know if the tv show should have pointed at that and gone "hey this is racism" but it feels underdeveloped in a way that undercuts the story line. It feels almost inorganic, or like a wasted opportunity to place Rose concretely in her surroundings in the waking world. But like I said, I am still thinking about this and would very much welcome other people's thoughts.)
I don't love being bothered by these things! It's very boring to watch an epic sprawling mythology like The Sandman and to be distracted by thoughts like "ummm actually it's wild that two people can just steal badges and sneak into the serial killer convention, is this one pedophile the only security at this function." Because if Rose was not there, I wouldn't be thinking that! It would be this surreal atmosphere unmoored from our reality. I'd be like sure! A serial killer convention! I love this! (And I really did love it in the comics, and might be misremembering its execution because it is such a dope idea for a setting. Such a dope idea can transcend issues of execution.) But instead, we have two outsiders, two human characters interacting with this convention, and instead of their presence grounding the scene with horrible reality, it's still so dreamlike. It feels neither magical enough to transcend nitpicks about logistics nor grounded enough to provide a contrast to the magical world and dreaming.
Anyway, genuinely looking forward to season two.

hello, welcome to my pinned post! I'm archon-maenad, formerly known as wormpinions, and this is meant to be a guide and warning all at once for my blog. if you're following me with any level of active interest I highly recommend at least skimming this.
below the read-more contains general disclaimers I wish everyone who read my posts could know, a list of takes I have that might be deal-breakers, a summary of each au I created that I post about on here, and an extensive masterlist of my insane tagging system.
and here's my ao3 above the rm, because I'm shameless and desperate for interaction.
honestly, by general disclaimers I mostly mean one thing with a few aspects that I really really really want to make sure people know. specifically the concept of bashing vs criticism.
I do not like the idea of bashing characters. fics tagged with that are a red flag, I always use the "[character] Critical" because it's more accurate to the nuance I want to have. people are not one dimensional. they can have a fuckload of flaws I want to scream about from the rooftops and/or cackle about and still have the opportunity to become better people.
I can admit that I do like bashing settings, but I also use the "[topic] Critical" tag for that because once again: nuance is very important. some worlds are completely fucked but that doesn't mean they don't have redeeming qualities or became that way for a reason.
having to add on to every post that I have thoughts beyond the scathing analysis or (hopefully) amusing dunking would get old real fast, so let me put it here. I do not hate unconditionally. I am capable of exploring generous good-faith interpretations of characters I dislike or settings I criticize. I acknowledge the layers of why people act or places work.
that being said, welcome to the possible deal-breakers part of this post. here are a list of popular characters I will ruthlessly drag for making awful decisions.
itachi uchiha. why does nobody talk about how he literally deadass canonically no-I-am-not-exaggerating tortured his little brother. how can people call him a good sibling What The Actual Fuck????
kakashi hatake. he did team 7 so fucking dirty, mans was really willing to throw a bunch of children out into life as soldier-mercenaries unprepared. I understand why he did (70% of his personality is trauma) but that doesn't mean I condone it.
naruto uzumaki. yes I am very critical of the main boy himself. he's so blind to the privilege he has and expects other people to forgive things as easily as he does, minimizing the very real grievances they might have just because the person being criticized is one he cares about.
sasuke uchiha. do I need to elaborate.
minato namikaze. this one is more me just being really annoyed at how the fandom is so quick to paint him in a saintly light when he killed a thousand people and became a military dictator.
batman. I have a lot of problems with how he handles his rogues and the child heroes trailing at his heels.
all-might. he's a criminally negligent teacher and taught japan that triumph written in blood is peace. dude really singlehandedly fucked up a whole country's culture.
eraserhead. the fact he is a good hero willing to die for his students does not mean he isn't actively sabotaging their ability to trust authority figures, and dadzawa is entirely a fan creation. in canon he seriously gives so many rancid vibes.
izuku midoriya. his self-righteousness and lack of respect for boundaries just makes me nauseous. and instead of getting a mentor who helps him grow as a person, he got one who reinforced all his toxic traits.
daemon targaryen. he ordered the deaths of children and SEDUCED HIS FOURTEEN YEAR OLD NIECE. FOURTEEN. and then fucked her later right after her husband's funeral like that genuinely makes me want to throw up it's so disrespectful and disgusting.
rhaenyra targaryen. yes the double standards for women cheating are definitely real, but passing off her bastards as trueborn and then getting mad when people don't want a woman who believes she has a right to break vows on the throne is just. wowza. hubris should have been her middle name.
padme amidala. if you aren't going with an interpretation where anakin (probably out of unconscious negligence but that doesn't excuse it) manipulated her emotions, then you gotta face the fact that your precious girlboss married a mass murderer and is willing to put all the bills she pushes concerning the jedi at stake by doing that.
on the flipside, here are some characters I shamelessly love that are divisive figures in fandom.
sakura haruno. her harassment of sasuke is disgusting but she was a twelve year old girl who was taught such behavior was acceptable and also that doesn't mean she should be sent off to die with no training. why y'all hating on her she's a queen.
ron weasley. I probably won't make any actual posts about hp because contributing to the discussion of jk rowling's works makes me feel slimy, but appreciation of ron is a very important personality trait of mine y'all need to know.
the whole jedi order. they handled anakin's situation horribly but it was out of ignorance and not malice, and we are jedi culture positive in this household. jedi knights and masters not marrying has a lot of valid reasons actually and if that's a dealbreaker you should transfer to the corps or leave! it's not a lifestyle for everyone and it doesn't need to be.
sansa stark. I'm getting pretty tired of writing all these up so I'm not even going to elaborate. I love sansa and I'm not sorry about it.
and finally, yes I am the bitch who got dragged for liking kill orders. please go here for my explanation for those thoughts in detail that the (in hindsight really badly written because I was too enthusiastic to give enough context and oh my god it really does paint me in a bad light) original post didn't cover.
now the fun stuff. my aus!
riley midoriya au: a reformed but still pretty wild bonesaw is reborn as izuku's twin sister, quickly replacing bakugou's canon role model status. cue a protagonist who grew up around scathing commentary concerning japan's cape scene bc homegirl is Not Impressed by her new life.
bonesaw at camp half blood au: riley is reborn as annabeth chase. her unique worldview and curiosity shake things up quite a bit, because everyone around here is too damn quick to accept the status quo and not question the facts being told.
taylor uzumaki au: taylor hebert is reborn as naruto. she hates her new world, especially the normalized child soldiers and thoughtless way they take chakra for granted, and unknowingly makes ninja double take by being her usual unhinged self.
forbidden histories au: two codependent eldritch gods from cultist simulator get stuck in the body of sakura haruno and proceed to wreak havoc trying to get back to their home reality.
genesis generation au: my own personal post-canon fix-it. aka hokage sakura, ambassador naruto, under house arrest with chakra binding seals and rethinking all his life choices sasuke, and economies not based on child soldiers.
the rest of my tags will have to be sorted by category because there are just... so many. why am I like this.

Elementary season 3 feels:
It's been a while since I was busy with moving, I wasn't able to hit the gym as much, but finally It Is Done.
The pure whiplash the first ep was insane. I'm just reeling trying to figure out the course of events. I am drinking up the Joan has her own successful consulting business and also a cute boyfriend. Good For Her.
Wasn't sure what to make of Kitty at first. Kinda on Detective Bell's wavelength, like "who is this sassy lost child." She exudes major Sherlock-Brooding-Angst Vibes. And then Sherlock approaches Joan like desperately "Help, I accidentally adopted a child and she needs a mother. Please platonically be a parent with me." And then the first half of the season went splendidly from there. I love Kitty. Her angst. Her loud music. Her Growth(TM). She deserves the world.
So the mid-season finale really paid off. She should get to melt her rapist's face off. Good for her. And Sherlock's support no matter her decision (because he should, he doesn't have any ground to stand on). Just Masterful Characterization. Gosh, I love how this show cares about their characters and keeping track of their histories and how it impacts future choices. Half the time, the mysteries are just secondary to how much the characters Shine. I love it.
Then we have Joan's mini-arc. Another satisfying "hey, sometimes characters backslide and that's okay." Sherlock is forced to be The Sensible One and he hates it but he does a bang-up job. It was also nice to see the members of the 11th play their parts in supporting Joan and showing how much they love her as well. The little aside where Gregson trusts her to investigate his replacement is cute and I'm glad that the captain stays (even if the hints were ominous).
And then the remainder of the season was Such A Ride. Fuck Oscar. Seriously Screw Him. I don't know what else to say. He was absolutely horrible. Just toxic. HOW DARE YOU HURT PRECIOUS ALFREDO!!!! I fucking cried when Joan finally found him. Alfredo looked terrible and did not deserve that. And I Don't Like the implications at the end of the finale. Joan, please help our boy Sherlock, he's fucking drowning in guild. *brb, crying my eyes out right now*
All around 10/10. The Vibes were definitely a change from the comfort of the previous two seasons, but man there were some Rancid bad guys.
My favorite show ever

So I bindged watched the entry of Metal Family (a Russian YouTube series) and its absolutely adorable. My favorite characters are Glam and Dee because obviously I'm always gunna go for either the goofy dad type with a tragic backstory and the sarcastic little smartass.
Anyway, I've been hearing around that Dee might have a girlfriend and as much as I like the idea of him having a cool laidback goth gf, I just can't picture it. He probably doesn't like to admit it but I think Dee and his dad have similar taste in women; ie badasses who are slightly batshit crazy.
Meet Sasha, they were put together as tutors for each other, she was failing math while he was failing art.
At first glance Sasha seems like a sweet, giggly, airhead with an affinity for tacky jewelry and thrift store clothes. Which is of course what Dee assumed when he offered his usual method of helping her cheat her way through her classes.
She smiled at him and called him: a pig-headed narcissistic asshole who couldn't smell the rancid shit coming out of his own mouth.
Yeah, turns out she isn't stupid just has really bad ADHD and needed someone to help her study math because her brain finds it too boring and therefore unimportant to focus on.
Their relationship is sort of similar to Glam and Ches when they first met; Sasha being a witty yet odd character while Dee struggles to makes sense of what the hell she's saying sometimes.
Because of her ADHD Sasha tends to switch out hobbies like socks; she especially likes activities that keep her hands occupied, such as knitting or origami. Dee has no idea how she can multy task so many things at once.
She is very forward and can be quite blunt when speaking her mind, though she tries her best to remain polite.
She is a big fan of grunge music and punk rock. Nirvana and Foo Fighters being her favorite.
She is the third oldest of six, so middle child syndrome all the way!
She's a bit of an anarchist and can often be found during the weekend tagging government property or big name brand store. Somehow she never seems to get caught.
Her parents are ex-punks so they aren't really surprised or disappointed with their daughter's antics so long as she doesn't get arrested. (More on her family later)
She knitted Dee a beanie during one of their study sessions, it was black with little cat ears. Now he wears it any time its even remotely breezy outside.
Heavy was the first to meet Sasha since they go to the same school. He couldn't understand how such a sweet girl could be friends with his asshole of a brother. She simply giggled and ruffled his hair, stating how Heavy remind her of her own younger siblings.
After that meeting people suddenly stopped bullying him. It was weird but Heavy wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth so he didn't question it. He did, however, wonder why Sasha had a baseball bat in her locker when she didn't even play the sport.
When Dee first invited Sasha over to hang out he made sure that his family would be out all day, because he knew that they would all make it their personal mission to embarrass him in front of her.
That plan backfired very quickly as they returned much earlier than expected and the two teens had been in the living room watching movies and cuddling.
Victoria adored her immediately, insisting she say over for dinner all the while making cheeky remarks at Dee to "make sure to keep her happy so she won't realize that she can do better."
Glam had meant to interrogate her, as he is secretly an over protective father at heart, but he was just so damn charmed by her he didn't have the nerve to do it. Instead he ended up showing her the boys' baby pictures (much to Dee and Heavy's protest).
Her and Ches vibed so well together, it was kind of weird and fascinating to observe. They later find out that Sasha is probably the only person out their that can beat both Glam and Ches in poker.
By the end of it Dee is red in the face with embarrassment and when he escorts her to the bus stop he apologizes if it was all a bit overwhelming. Sasha simply giggled, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek assuring him that she really likes his family and can't wait to come over again.
Of course Sasha was the first to confess because Dee still had no idea about his feelings. Thought it was less a confession and more of a statement as if it was something she assumed he already knew.
He didn't, obviously.
Sasha knew that Dee liked her back but she needed for HIM to come to that conclusion himself if they had any hope of starting a relationship. So she remained patient and waited for him to catch up.
Though this did NOT stop her from teasing and flirting with him just a little 😋
She really couldn't help it, Dee was way too cute when he got all flustered and shy (much like his mother in that regards).
So they aren't OFICIALLY dating but they are together, kind of like a trial run (according to Dee at least).
ABOUT HER FAMILY:
Her parents are high school sweethearts that used to ride around town with Victoria and her old crew.
Sasha's mom is a headstrong yet laid back woman that runs the local laundry mat, popular with bikers as it specializes in cleaning leather. Her father is this big, burly, stoic man that works in construction and doesn't tend to say much. They love each other and their children very much.
Sasha has an older sister and brother as well as three younger siblings, twin boys and a little sister. Her older sister is living in England while also going to college to study political science. Her older brother is on his last year of high school and works as a mechanic at a local bike shop. Her twin brothers are in middle school, just a year below Heavy, while her little sister is just starting the first grade.
When Sasha invites Dee over to her house to study he is greeted at the door by her father who looms over him, glaring daggers. Dee may have seen his life flash before his eyes for a just moment.
Thankfully, her mother was much nicer, inviting him in as she called Sasha downstairs. Her younger siblings were very rowdy, asking him questions about who he is and why he was here. Her older brother however, joined along side his father to glare holes into his head.
He was all too thankful when Sasha finally came downstairs to get him, announcing that they would be in her room studying until dinner. Her older brother shouted after them to "keep the door open" and Sasha gave a cheery reply of two middle fingers in his direction.
Dinner was awkward, at least for Dee, but it wasn't terrible. By the end of it, when they were hanging around the bus stop, Sasha (who insisted on seeing him off as he usual does) proudly said: "I think they like you."
"Oh really?" Dee said with a nervous chuckle, he wasn't quite sure but he trusted her judgment. 🖤🖤🖤

"so your try to say Aang from ep 1 to end violates their boundaries and disregards their feelings."
No. Obviously, I'm saying that it happened two times.
Are you saying that since Aang did not *go into the Avatar state at the beginning of the show and stay in the Avatar state non-stop forever without ceasing for the entirety of the series until he suddenly stopped being in the Avatar State in the finale,* it means that nobody should ever mention the fact that he sometimes went into the Avatar State?
Aang did not have to spend every single second of screentime glued to Kataras lips before we're allowed to say "he kissed her."
You're being intentionally juvenile and frankly ridiculous in your transparent attempt to make excuses for non-consensual assault, Anon.
Sokka did not have a sword at the beginning of the show. This doesn't mean Sokka never had a sword.
Zuko didn't have a shaved head with a topknot ponytail at the end of the show. This doesn't mean Zuko never had a ponytail.
Aang did not spend the entire series locking lips with Katara without stopping for breath. This does not mean Aang never kissed Katara.
Aang kissed Katara without her consent against her expressly stated boundaries. That happened. If you're too much of a sexist pig to admit and acknowledge that it was wrong that you've decided to make up baseless and random accusations like "you want to kill men" or "you think aang is a rapist" or "you think that he spent three seasons of screentime kissing somebody" then that's YOUR problem.
Now, I have a grown-up job I need to get to, and also I feel bad making Ais and Luke play middle man to this ridiculous debate with a whining overgrown child, soooo I'm checking out lol.
Good luck getting dates with that "women should stop being difficult and just be grateful that the guy who doesn't respect them enough to treat them like a real person at least took the time to compliment their work performance before kissing them against their will; because obviously the opposite of kiss is kill so they should be glad he chose to honor them with the first one" rancid-ass vibe (:
sdjksjdskdj no no don't mind us, we're enjoying the clown show before ignore this fool who's seemingly willing to go to hell & back just to defend sexual assault because it came from a "child" — written by adults btw — & they like the character or whatever.
anyways women, be as difficult as you want ✨❤ the correct person will respect your boundaries & back off & treat you with the respect a human being deserves. the second well... you gotta do the opposite of kiss ;)

Okay so Fire Emblem anon here!! Here's a Kinda Super Long Bc I Got Carried Away description of a few Fire Emblem games, plus some characters that seem like they hit tropes you like!
The good news is that there's not a super huge overarching timeline, there's several smaller timelines that are seperate from one another except for the crossover games. I'm gonna go with describing the newer ones that you're most likely to be able to get your hands on and play; a lot of people complain that they lean into some anime-tropey stuff and are too easy, but tbh, that's a perk just as often as it isn't. Basically, it's Game of Thrones, but rated T and with more cute girls and old men who are friendly instead of creepy.
Tbh, it's a turn-based strategy game with visual novel elements for characterization, if strategy games aren't your thing and you're just interested in the characters, watching the support conversations on Youtube might be more your thing. All the characterization, none of the resetting the same goshdang level thirty times. Anyways, description of the games in passing, including a brief description of the plot concept, pros and cons, trigger warnings, and some characters you might be interested in if you're just looking up characters.
*line break for legibility*
Awakening: for the 3DS. Follows Robin, an amnesiac mage, after they're found in a field by a band of knights called the Shepherds. Involves the undead, a twink in a mask, timey-wimey shenangians, and the usual cast of oddballs you'd expect from a Fire Emblem game.
Pros of Awakening: customizable player character, intro of Casual mode (turns off permadeath) and the Pair Up system, which lets you put characters together for shipping reasons strategy and stat boosts. Also doubles as a shipping simulator, since you can pair off characters and meet their later in the game due to said timey-wimey shenangians.
Cons of Awakening: there are some....very concerning combos of names/skin tones/plot relevance for certain characters, so go in with a warning about implicit racism. Also if you like strategy games, this game is relatively easy to break and make "too easy," but tbh that's what Lunatic Mode (the Ultra Unfair Hard Mode) is for.
Trigger warnings across the main plot: underhanded politics, attempted assassinations, martyrdom, an optional character is implied to stalk Robin but idk how to tag that, identity crises, conflicts within a family, character who isn't you looks like you, backstory child abuse, an optional character is a bad portrayal of DID if you squint?
*line break for legibility*
Fates: is actually a group name for two games set in the same universe, and a DLC bonus story: Birthright, Conquest, and Revelations. All for the 3DS. All three games star Corrin, a pacifist raised in seclusion in the kingdom of Nohr. Each game reflects a different path Corrin can take in navigating the war between the nations of Nohr and Hoshido: Birthright has them stand with Hoshido, Conquest with Nohr, and Revelations has them strike out (nearly) alone. Each path has a completely different storyline, cast of characters, and difficulty curve.
Pros of Fates: honestly, the characters here cater the most to the avid pro-shipper and multi-shipper. I just love this cast. Both Nohr and Hoshido have four members of the royal family you can play and get to know, each of those royal family members has two retainers who are various levels of dedicated and/or unhinged, and the cast just widens and widens. Also a character customization and shipping simulator point for the same reasons Awakening gets it. Also, canon fujoshi rights (there's a character with a skill called Daydream, which boosts her stats when two male characters are paired up near her. one of us, one of us). Also the first game with canon queer characters: both Rhajat and Niles are bi.
Cons of Fates: unfortunately, the writing is kinda rushed or badly translated in some places. Also *shakes IntSys* my lore! Give me more lore! Also, iirc, you could get both physical games in a bundle for a discount when they came out, but not anymore, so it's sorta like Pokemon with version exclusives. Which is less fun, since you can't directly trade characters. Also the fandom for this game is RIFE with discourse, which is kinda sad bc I just wanna talk my ships with ppl sjxhdjdn
Trigger warnings for Fates: child abuse might as well be Nohr's middle name, in-universe racism (since Hoshido is p obviously Japan-inspired, and a lot of Nohrians are rancid to Hoshidans), kidnapping, on-screen murder, lots of fighting your loved ones (on both main routes, you gotta fight the playable characters from the other side AAA), su-c-de, death of sibling(s) in certain routes, demonic-like possession, there's like six characters people can read as bad mental illness rep, Niles especially is discourse bait for being a kinky (yes that's canon) bi man of color but also he's awesome so die mad antis
*break for space*
Shadows of Valentia: for the 3DS. A remake of Gaiden, the second game in the series. Follows Alm, a farm boy from a small village in Zofia, and Celica, his childhood best friend. Zofia and the nation to its north, Rigel, are two nations ruled by the dragon gods Mila and Duma, respectively. Normally, they're in equilibrium, but Rigel is invading and Mila is missing, prompting Alm and Celica to independently investigate the problem.
Pros of SoV: the most like the old-school Fire Emblem games, but it also has the permadeath-off mode. also the first to be fully voice acted! The art style is gorgeous, and the plot was polished up from the old game--two characters names Berkut and Rinea were added, and they are PEAK OTP the diskhorse can die mad. Also the cast is pretty fun all around, from buddy squad and the older brother/dad figure they adopted along the way to "hello this is my gang of childhood friends, we're gonna kill a god" Also introduces Mila's Turnwheel, which lets you rewind your moves if you realize you goofed big time and screwed yourself over.
Cons of SoV: has the most references to other games, but you won't, like, be lost if you don't get them. You just might have a few interludes of "who tf is Camus/the White Wing Brigade/etc" but it's easy enough to look up on the wiki. Also tbh, the plot kinda drags in the middle, there's some filler battles to try and make it feel more realistic and it feels...weird. Also no custom character, you are Alm and Celica and you will Like It.
Trigger warnings for SoV: you know that thing where a girl character gets killed off for a guy character to angst over? the game starts with a fakeout version of that. also a character slowly goes mad over the course of the plot (but it's really well done imo?), there's some self-sacrifice stuff in there, classism is a major theme, possession/selling your soul™, there's a couple of levels where you're exploring tombs/prisons, I'm sure there's something else but I'm forgetting right now
*line break for legibility*
Three Houses: on the Switch. The newest game in the series, and the most polished imo? Stars Byleth, a wandering mercenary turned teacher at the Officer's Academy. The Academy, housed in Garreg Mach Monastery, teaches youths from across the land of Fodlan how to be warriors, commanders, and knights. Students are sorted into three houses based on their country of origin: the Black Eagles are from ghe Adrestian Empire, led by the heiress-apparent Edelgard; the Blue Lions are from the kingdom of Faerghus, led by prince Dimitri; and the Golden Deer are from the Leicester Alliance, led by Claude, grandson of the Duke. You choose one of these houses to lead, and then everything quickly goes sour.
Pros of Three Houses: It's such a rich experience! The music is incredible, there's so much lore, and you can wander around the Monastery and hang out with the students to your heart's content. Also, it's four storylines for the price of one, even if they're all relatively similar in the first half. It does a pretty solid job of weaving together its themes into a satisfying narrative that will make you consider everyone involved. Also we got our first bi main lord (Edelgard) and non-white main lord (Claude is mixed race) in one fell swoop! Also, given the setting, it's teacher/student ship heaven.
Cons of Three Houses: just gonna come right out and say it: one of the villainous factions in the game is pretty substantially tied up with some anti-semitic tropes. There's no way to ignore it, it's just bleh, and I'm not gonna send anyone in without that warning. Also, though there's some characters you can persuade to switch sides, or spare, there's no route where there's a happy ending for everyone. Also there are so many people who are fake deep about the themes of the game, so be ready for the worst takes imaginable about your faves. also super trigger heavy, see below.
Trigger warnings: MANY. Garreg Mach and the Church of Seiros are very reminiscent of catholic religious stuff, for anyone with religion triggers, blood in cutscenes, death of a parent, death of a sibling (different characters), major gaslighting vibes in some places, lots of people going unhinged, some white savior™ vibes in places, body horror, creepy ass weaponry, backstory genoc-de (mostly not related to the anti-semitism), blood magic (definitely related to the anti-semitism), in general it goes to a lot more effort than the other games to make you think about what's Actually going on, even if it doesn't always work.
*break for legibility*
As for characters you'd like, if you just want to look some characters up, my recommendations based on what I understand about you include:
Awakening: Libra fits 'gnc man of the cloth' so well it's actually a conversation in game: "so what's a woman of the cloth doing here?" "...man, sir, man of the cloth." And Then He Never Gets Misgendered Again. Also Nowi's supports sometimes feel like a jab at antis-- she's a manakete, a person who can transform into a dragon. Manaketes also grow really slowly, as in "middle aged looking manaketes are like 1000 years old," so she's got major baby face and copes with being mistaken for a teenager by making jokes. Also Gregor, who she first appears with, is pretty fun--older mercenary with a thick accent who is like 80% here for a good time. Also Walhart, who's a villain but got some content added as DLC.
Fates: any interactions between Corrin, Leo, and/or Camilla are probably right up your alley--Camilla is obsessively protective over her siblings in a way that's Very Definitely Platonic™, and Leo also canonically has a crush on her in something that was cut in the English release. Also Gunther--once upon a time he was your classic knight in shining armor, now he's semi-retired, Corrin's personal guard, and covered in scars (and his voice is gorgeous too)
Echoes: my biased answer is to listen to every single line Ian Sinclair read for Berkut because he absolutely did NOT have to go that hard. My actual answer is to point you in the direction of the pegasus sisters Catria, Palla and Est, or maybe the older gentleman who's the head of the Priory, I forgot his name oops abbdbd. Also Clive is a devoted husband to one Mathilda, who looks just like an older version of his sister Clair 🤔
Three Houses: knowing you, you'd adore Hanneman--an older professor who's extremely passionate about his work, to the point where he tends to forget personal space and such. Also Seteth, like I mentioned before (join me in simping for him and his gorgeous pecs) and like, honestly, I know ppl make jokes about Alois but he's rlly good. Soft, awkward but he doesn't care, dad jokes everywhere. And also Mercedes, both because she's the biggest sweetheart imaginable and everyone should love her, but also bc she is just walking potential for the kinds of stuff you post on this blog. On one hand, she's the oldest student at the Academy and attached at the hip to one of the youngest, Annette (tho people act like they have a way bigger age gap then they actually do) and on the other hand, she has a long-lost half brother she can encounter (who I will not name for HUGE HUGE spoilers reasons) who she spends the rest of her life with in one of her endings. Heck, he has three possible endings total! Total!
Basically I brought the games up bc I'm used to being on the side of the fandom where everyone shoos anything uncomfortable under the rug, but there's so much material here that's being wasted I SWEAR
If you have any other questions I can send another anon? Your call! Thanks for hearing me out I love ur blog :3
OKAY!!! sorry for answering so late, but this ask was pretty much a BOOK (not that I´m complaining though! thank you so much! ;;u;;)
and from what I read here, I THINK if I´m going off on my first fire emblem adventure, I´ll try and pick up three houses if I get the chance! I have read your trigger warnings (thank you so much! ;u;) and I think I can take it! >:3
again though, I am really, really not a fan of anime and the anime artstyle in general (blergh! XP) so I´m not sure how I´ll cope with that in particular, but then again, an artstyle does not make a game! u3u
AND HANNEMAN SOUNDS LIKE A WINNER TO ME!! I looked him up and OOOF!!! he may not have NEARLY as many wrinkles as I´d like him to have, but the facial hair is definitely a step in the right direction! ;3c
NOW YOU GOT ME INTERESTED!!
LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
