Wanted to participate in January's MOMR contest at SimPearls (but was too late)

Assignment:

Build and decorate a nursery for a baby or a toddler (not older than 3), using a eaxis crib/bed, dresser and painting.

The room is 5x4, windows and doors are up to you. You can use recolors for the eaxis items and all the cc you want. The style is also free to choose.

Show us 1 picture of the before situation and up to 5 pictures of the newly decorated room.

The interesting thing about seeing people discover Ed Gamble through Taskmaster is that some look at his desperation dedication to win, judge him by his general appearance and interactions with Greg and the rest of the cast, and pass him off as some stereotypical, overbearing "jock" character, when in reality he's a type 1 diabetic, asthmatic, ex-goth kid who used to collect salt and pepper pots and geodes, who dislikes sports partly due to bad school experiences, who loves food, heavy metal, comic books, board games, his wife, and his cat that he's allergic to, and who's talked openly about his mental and physical struggles with losing weight and managing his type 1.

I dunno, I just find it funny when I see people describe him as "a high school bully" or a "hostile competitor" when he's clearly just an over-excitable, super massive TM nerd whose dream was to be on the show and make love to some hummus.

This MOC was a submission for a LEGO ideas Test Lab contest. Since the entries were hidden, I thought I'll just post them now. I actually built 3 in total, I'll post over the next weeks.

There was a limited parts palette and they were supposed to have some customizability.

This one I call the Room Builder

It's kind of a system to build your own rooms, rearrange them and interior design them.

I came up with different interior builds, as well as different room styles and even exterior add-ons.

my favorite part of original noise boys is how tailored for them the prompts have become. Josh is always given prompts where he truly has to make insane sounds you never even anticipated before, Zac is given a lot of physical comedy and opportunities for little one liners, and Brennan is given the chance to just monologue and make a bunch of shit up

There's a weird pattern with vriska votes surging whenever she's behind. I know there's really nothing you can do about people abusing the system this way, however they're doing it, but I would like it noted that we see it.

i definitely noticed this yesterday. which is why the tags on her poll today are fucked up, actually: i had the post ready for izzy's clear win made before i went to bed, but by the time i woke up vriska had gained thousands more notes somehow. the same thing happened today where zuko was clearly winning, and yet now it's 60/40 for her.

i'm not making accusations or anything lol but i do know for a fact that the tumblrwoman poll was rigged by cheaters who sent bots to spam vote. please, nobody cheat on these polls, it takes away the fun for everyone else. this is supposed to be a silly lighthearted honest competition! your meow meow is still valid even if they don't win.

but maybe vriska voters just gather at night, idk!

Thoughts on how I write the Commission and their views on Quirkless heroes

I like writing the Commission as not actually caring if there's a Quirkless hero, because I view them as being more interested in having someone easy to manipulate, rather than even necessarily their Quirk. Let's look at for example the two heroes we know were Commission-controlled. And well, then at why they'd be fine with it.

Lady Nagant's Quirk would have some pretty negative connotations. We see her in the flashback where the Commission is making her the offer that her rifle arm is wrapped up. Japan has very stringent gun laws and her Quirk would have a negative association to it (versus the US for example, were it would have had a positive association since Second Amendment). That makes her easy to manipulate, because the Commission is making her an offer she didn't imagine possible; they're going to support her to be a hero. They're not going to treat her like just because her Quirk is literally a gun (note that with Snipe's Quirk he likely *could* use a different weapon than a gun, but if he's younger than Kain [very possible since she's in her late thirties] then the stigma isn't there quite as much for a gun user) she's a future villain or shouldn't be allowed near heroics. Instead they're going to support her, but there's just this one other thing they need her to do...

With Hawks he gets scooped up super young. Like I think we gloss over the fact sometimes he likely wasn't even ten when everything happened. He already had very heroic tendencies, but he was also the son of a villain. His mother and he after his father got arrested (and even honestly before) were extremely impoverished. They were in a garbage situation. Then the Commission comes knocking an offers them a way out, the funds to support themselves and all Hawks has to do is something he already wants to do; to become a hero. He's going to be Commission trained and controlled, but he's also going to get his dream. He's not going to be held back for being the son of a villain, his identity is as good as private, and he's going to be able to do what he's always wanted.

A Quirkless hero!Izuku (or even another person who wants to be a Quirkless hero) is someone who they would view as easy to manipulate. It's unlikely they'd have prior support, it's unlikely that they'd be able to get the sort of mentorship or access to training someone who had a Quirk could have. They could be viewed as being able to have good PR or make for a good story (look! Even if you're Quirkless you too can be a hero!). Yes Quirkless people are a steadily decreasing minority, but it also doesn't really effect the Commission's bread and circuses. If anything it allows for greater distraction, and may even give the Commission a PR boost (look at how supportive we are!).

So yeah, I know a lot of people go with the idea of the Commission being anti-Quirkless hero, but I'd actually argue for the reasons mentioned here that it's just as likely they'd be fine with it.

I wasn't being 100% serious when writing that ask and it was kinda impulsive thanks to sleep deprivation and me just being stupid. And as I had stated it was how I wanted to view things, I love the idea of the smp seeing Dream as monster and Dream being so fucked that he sees Tommy as his little toy and such.

As stated I have asked for it to be deleted. I apologize to all I have pissed off and offended. I should've made it more clear I wasn't going off of canon.
