Let me put the pieces together for some of y’all who don’t like puzzles:

Tim said he originally wanted Lucy back, but Lucy’s actress drops out for whatever reason.

Oh no.

So Tim brings back Tommy instead.

Maybe he’s been thinking about what to do with Eddie and Buck and we know from an interview he already had an arc planned for Buck and Natalia’s relationship. And we know from an interview that he’d wanted to do the bi arc with someone already known by / part of 118 family. So he decides to do an Eddie bi arc with Tommy.

BUT OH NO,

Natalia’s actress has to back out for some reason. So Tim pivots. Scratches the Natalia storyline, switches the Tommy arc to Buck, brings back Marisol, and does a relationship arc with her and Eddie instead.

It’s what makes the most sense because we have actual proof leading to it.

Or you know…you can assume some actors are homophobes without any proof… that’s a choice you can make. Not a good one, but definitely a choice .

People who say that Oliver's new interview confirmed that Tommy and Buck are breaking up have not yet understood the context of how and when an interview was filmed. Oliver's interview was filmed over a week ago, but they only filmed the new episode yesterday he couldn't say anything about it yet. Just because the interview was published today it cannot be related to the new episodes filmed. Lou said he's filming with Oliver but he's not alone doesn't mean that Tommy will tell Buck that he's in love with Eddie, the actress who plays Maddie said she filmed with Tommy, Oliver and Chimey. Lou probably means exactly that.

The way Tommy is gently touching Buck's pulse point with two fingers to start the kiss is truly magical because here's the thing, Tommy was nervous. He didn't know if Buck would react well, he was gentle and even asked if it was okay right after but the fact he could feel Buck's heart start racing under his fingers is so important to me and after he felt it he moved his hand away.

buck and tommy seem so cute together. and if they get turned into some stepping stone for buddie I will riot. buck does not need his heart to be broken for buddie to happen. if they end it better be because they realised they don't work or something that lets them end on good terms.

eddie also needs to figure out his sexuality if buddie has any hope of happening properly. I love buddie. I'm a buddie shipper but my god I think buck and tommy are beautiful together.
