“Mr….Yúchí?” The monkey beastman blinked at the girl from on top of his cloud “I mean sure? I don’t really know who told you I’m the best person for that but I’m free right now I guess” He said with a shrug “follow me” he told her before flouting away.

“So, what’s your name” Tao asked as he popped a cherry into his mouth “I’d tell you my name, but who doesn’t know me?” He said with a chuckle “Bridget Leuis, sir” the girl, Bridget, said as she followed behind “I’m a freshman” Tao hummed “and you need help with what exactly Leuis?”

Bridget let out a small ‘oh’ before taking out a notebook and handing it to the monkey. Tao took it from her hand and started flipping through the pages. “Magical analysis? He asked and gave the girl a ‘you’re jocking, right?’ Look, which the girl replied to with a shrug.

Soon the two arrived at a small clearing in the greenhouse. Tao got off his cloud and sat down on the ground and patted the space next to him. “Alright Bridgy” he said as the girl sat down “show me what you wrote last assignment and I’ll see what I can do” the brunette smiled and sat down after placing her guitar case next to her.

After literally hours of studying the two started heading back to their dorm. Tao was humming while he walked and carried a large black guitar case, while the owner of said guitar case was snoring away on one of his clouds. Soon, they arrived at the girls dorm room.

Tao opened the door and walked to the only empty bed, which he guessed was hers. The cloud she was laying on floated above the bed then disappeared, dropping the girl lightly on the soft mattress. “Good luck tomorrow kid” he said alas he placed the guitar case next to her bed before covering the brunette with her blanket and leaving the room.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲

Tao was sat on one of the trees at nrc, taking a nap on of the branches instead of going to his classes like everyone else. “Mr.Yúchí!! It’s me Bridget” the monkey peered down to see Bridget waving up at him “I got my grade back!” He smiled and hopped down to the ground “alright kid, show me whatcha got” the girl excitedly handed him her exam paper. He had helped her study for the exam and do some homework yesterday.

He started going over the answers, some where wrong but most were pretty close to the answer and even fewer were the actual answer. “B-, good job” he said and ruffled her hair. “I’m proud of you” Bridget stared up at him for a bit before a large smile appeared on his face “I couldn’t have done it without you! In reality, this is your B-“ Tao let out a chuckle and handed her her test “no thanks, that would lower my gpa”

“So” she placed the test in her pocket “you think you can tutor me for the next exam?” She asked with a bigger grin “sure, but you’re buying me lunch this week” “deal!” “Alright then Bridget, let’s go eat. And no more of this ‘Mr.Yúchí’ business, Tao is fine”

He’s pretty short, just like me! I thought we would get along because of that, but he’s not as friendly as I thought he would be. No problemo for Bridget Leuis, though! I’m sure we’ll be buddies by the end of the month! 

Everyone says Mr. Clearcove pretty freaky…Heck, even Zackery says he gets uncomfortable around him, and he’s the evil villain of Toytoriya! But I just don’t see it. Sure, the guy will give me a glare once or twice, but I never feel the dread everyone else does…heehee, maybe I’m just too metal for something like fear!”

-Bridget being bridget, she always refers to her upperclassmen by their last name, Finn included!! -Maybe its because of what Bridget truly is, or because she’s a social butterfly, but she doesn’t  really getting all the talk surrounding him. -I like to think. she bothers Finn a lot for classwork. She’s not a smart cookie, but she does know who to talk to for tutoring.  -She also sees his politeness as genuine! And the quietness as just a quirk of a regular NRC student.  -Also. she’d call his teeth metal. I know that for sure.

Ashi as we all know and love is SUUUUPER peppy super cute super adorbs. 🤔 kinda like a dream girl almost but the thing is that she’s like suuuper shallow?? JUST LIKE HER PERSONALITY IS 2D LIKE…….. 🫣🫣 in reality she can be super crude and realistic and aggressive, but it takes a LONG while or you playing your cards right to get that side of her out there <3 she’s such a flirt but if you hit her back she is STUNNED and has no idea what to do 😭😭😭

I love it when characters are foils to each other and Ashi/Graham fit that bill. Ashi who’s perfected her shallow personality vs Graham who’s cruelly honest for better and worse. They both pull out the best qualities in each other as they do the bad ones.
