#pinktober day 7’s prompt is #slimy : And my fun fact for the day is a shout out to the wonders of #cervical #mucus – yup, you read that right 😉 But seriously, being on your #period is often a sign of great shame (so much so in some cultures that those on their period are seen as unclean & not able to participate in society 😢). Often those not #menstruating will just be like “yuk” “I don’t want to know”. But it’s a wonderful thing to know that the organ that bleeds in monthly cycles is the one that produces slime in order to help a spermy, high five with an egg. FEELFOOD FRIDAY It might surprise you to see a picture of the muscle structure of the female form. Perhaps society is too afraid of the exposure of the female form. Regardless of why this might be your first time seeing this we should celebrate. Without these milk generating mammaries humans would be anything! As bewitching as a “Tarzan” inspired fantasy of an ape mother nursing an orphaned human baby might be, in reality, an ape mother could offer only the bare essentials to the human baby’s brain and body. Mutual primate heritage only supplies the most rudimentary similarities in roughly equivalent percentages of milk fats, sugars, and proteins. The nuanced constituents of human milk are not found in ape milk (nor even in the milk of chimpanzees, a closer human cousin.) Tarzan’s brain would have suffered from the absence of the human milk constituents necessary for full development—another reason he didn’t talk? Hope I’m not too late 😅 Here’s day 2 & 3 from @culturehustle ‘s #pinktober #prompts – Day 2 #bean – 1 in 4 women have experienced #miscarriage (ref: tommys.org) and it’s a difficult time because in the early period of #pregnancy, you have to pretend nothing is happening, because, well, it’s just a bean 🌱. But it’s not just a bean, its hopes & dreams of a beautiful future that could be. I wish we had more awareness of this, I wish we talked more & shared the pain of loss, emotionally & physically. My big love to anyone who has gone through this. Day 3 #boy – this was an easy one to think off. How many times do we discourage boys from loving, playing house, playing parenting & trying on make-up. Why do we need to split the world into #gender roles – it’s tiring & it helps no one. Every boy should aspire to fall in love & be a parent or whatever they wish! Sooo, I’m not sure if I know anyone who has not been affected by, or not had a family member with, cancer. My auntie just recently passed away after 7 years fighting Breast Cancer. The Pain her husband (My uncle) went through was unbearable, and unfair, as it was for the rest of our family, my mother (her sister) included. Watching so many people you love cry like that is hard.

Something can be done! With enough donations, enough support, courage and awareness we can push for change!

Westfield Stratford City!!!

So as you guys already know we were down @ Westfield on Friday performing for their Pink Friday event in conjunction with Breast Cancer Care UK, to help raise funds and create awareness...

It was awesome!!!!! And we were really happy to be part of a cause that affects sooo many lives here in the UK and all over the world...

So a big thank you goes out to Westfield and also to the Revelation Singers Street Team who done amazingly with creating awareness also!!!

Not forgetting our beautiful fans and supporters that came out to see us on Friday - we love you guys and thank you soo much for your continuous support, but for those who couldn't make it please don't forget to donate!!!
